The one-eyed cosmic tyrant—Boros—slowly opened his giant eye. A faint, hard-to-see surprise flashed within.
He rose and walked to the grand viewing port.
He gazed down at the city below—ruined, but not gone as he had expected—and the corner of his mouth curled in cruel excitement.
"They actually blocked the warship's barrage… The natives of this planet are a bit more interesting than I thought. Is Melzargard still down below?"
"Yes, Lord Boros!" an operator replied immediately.
"Lord Melzargard is already engaged with the resistance on the ground. According to the battle data received, the opposition seems to include several warriors of note."
Boros' gaze fell on the ground-battle feed.
S-Class heroes Silver Fang, Atomic Samurai, Metal Bat, and Sexy Prisoner were locked in fierce combat with the five-headed, regenerating monster.
"This level of resistance isn't enough," Boros said lazily, a curl of disappointment in his voice.
"Groribas."
"Here, Lord Boros!" From the shadows stepped a tall, green figure with a giant maw. He knelt on one knee in deference.
"Go. Play with them," Boros said blandly. "Don't make me wait too long. I crave a battle that will let me cut loose."
Groribas let out a thrilled hiss and leapt from the ship like a green meteor!

"Damn it! What is this thing!"
Metal Bat panted, bringing a crushing swing down on one of Melzargard's heads, splattering it to a pulp.
A second later, that head reformed with a wet squirm.
"Useless!"
All five heads spoke in different voices. "Your attacks mean nothing to me!"
One arm morphed into a blade and swept across.
Sexy Prisoner's eyes bulged, his muscles swelling to the limit. With a roar—"Angel☆Rush!"—he met the blow with all his strength!
But the blade easily split his proud "angel muscles," carving a grievous, bone-deep wound into his thick arm!
Pain slammed into him. With a heavy grunt, Sexy Prisoner was knocked flying like by a bullet train, crashing through a teetering ruin.
"Damn! No weak point?" Atomic Samurai flickered like a specter around Melzargard.
His blade-light was so fast it dazzled the eye, and each cut reduced the enemy to uncountable pieces.
"Atomic Slash!"
At his low cry, Melzargard's entire arm disintegrated into dust.
But the dust seemed alive, gathering and reassembling into a brand-new arm in no time.
"Your slashes are fast, but they can't touch my core," Melzargard taunted.
"Your struggle is meaningless. Only death awaits you!"
Metal Bat's pompadour was soaked in sweat. Every thunderous swing dented the enemy like clay, but the flesh sprang back instantly.
He could feel his "fighting spirit" growing with every swing, but against an enemy that was basically unkillable, even the strongest spirit found nothing solid to land on.
The stalemate broke when a steady figure stepped into the fray.
Bang, the aged martial arts grandmaster, finally entered the circle after observing.
Melzargard sensed that this old man was different. In an instant, it split three arms into a hammer, a whip, and a blade, striking from three vicious angles at once to seal every avenue of evasion.
Facing a dead end, Bang's face was still as calm as a still pond.
His aged body sank a fraction, settling into a curious stance.

He moved.
Bang neither met force with force nor tried to dodge.
His hands glided like fish through an impenetrable net of attacks, tracing mysterious paths.
Each time his palms met Melzargard's strikes, the power was deftly redirected.
Thud! Thud! Thud!
The whip heading for his face—he flicked it aside to lash another of Melzargard's arms.
The hammer meant for his skull—he guided it with a push and a lead to smash into the ground, throwing up a cloud of dust.
The killing blade—under his flowing, seamless motions—was deflected completely off course.
The heroes stared in awe.
Bang was like a leaf at the center of a storm; no matter how the winds howled, he always found that sliver of opportunity and emerged unscathed.
The fiercer Melzargard attacked, the greater its own chaos. Under Bang's guidance, several arms tangled each other into knots.
This was the pinnacle of martial arts!
The true martial grandmaster—S-Class Rank 3 "Silver Fang"—was terrifying indeed!
"Old Man Bang is incredible!" Metal Bat gaped.

With Bang's control and Atomic Samurai locating the weak point, the battle reversed in an instant.
Metal Bat and Sexy Prisoner immediately adjusted, concentrating their attacks on Melzargard's heads.
Victory seemed within reach.
