Chapter 311 - Chapter 311 Are You Surprised to See Me?

However, Vali himself was unaware of the White Dragon Emperor's state of mind.

Being proud and arrogant, he simply felt that he wasn't strong enough yet, and if he trained more, he definitely wouldn't be as miserable as he was today.

"Who exactly was that man?"

Since he could remember, Vali had never been as humiliated as he was today.

Thus, his heart could not calm down.

"If I had used that move, perhaps things wouldn't be like this now."

Vali wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth and said.

"Vali."

The White Dragon Emperor's voice was still trembling.

"It's not that I want to destroy my own prestige, but even if you recited the Balance Breaker chant and released the power I held at my Peak during my life, you absolutely couldn't defeat that Lord. Furthermore, the fact that we escaped is clearly because the other side deliberately let us go; if he truly wanted to keep us, we would have no room to resist."

"Albion, what is wrong with you today?"

Normally, Albion would never be so subdued.

Even when he constantly wanted to challenge Azazel, Albion would encourage him enthusiastically.

Yet, from the moment he appeared until now, the White Dragon Emperor had been wallowing in self-pity like a failure.

"It's not what's wrong with me, but what's wrong with this world? I don't understand. He has been dead for a long time, so why did He suddenly appear here? Could it be that He faked His death back then, deliberately deceiving the entire world? But what would be the point of doing that?"

In Vali's eyes, Albion currently sounded like a patient speaking nonsense.

But Vali wasn't completely unaware of what his partner meant.

That man... might really be that Lord.

"So Albion, is that man really the Supre—"

"Do not speak it!"

""

"If we speak that Lord's name, we will be immediately discovered by Him."

Hearing this, Vali was silently speechless.

He didn't continue questioning his partner but pushed the door open and walked inside the house.

Deep inside the mansion, in a simply decorated room, was a mature-looking middle-aged man with some stubble and a small streak of yellow highlights at the front of his hair.

He was wearing a loose black and gray Kimono, holding a small Japanese sake flask, and was sprawled carelessly on the tatami mat.

He clearly looked like a middle-aged uncle who had gotten drunk at a social engagement.

However, Vali was very clear about the identity of the sloppy man.

The leader of all the Fallen Angels in the Observer of the Heavenly Children, the Fallen Angel Governor, Azazel.

"Yo, you're back, Vali."

Azazel took a sip of sake listlessly, squinting at Vali.

But soon he narrowed his eyes.

Because only Vali returned.

"Where is that bastard Kokabiel?"

Kokabiel had secretly left the Fallen Angel Headquarters, Observer of the Heavenly Children.

By the time Azazel learned about Kokabiel's actions, the latter had already stolen the Church's Holy Swords and arrived in Komou Town.

That was why he specifically came from headquarters to the human world, bringing his Adopted Son, Vali.

On one hand, it was to stop Kokabiel from causing a major disaster, and on the other, it was to temper Vali.

After all, as the White Dragon Emperor, he always wanted to challenge powerful opponents.

However, neither he nor Barakiel were interested in fighting him.

Kokabiel was a good opponent, though he was only a mid-to-low tier Fallen Angel Executive among the Fallen Angel Executives.

Vali, who could already activate Juggernaut Drive, could definitely take him down easily.

Yet, such a guaranteed mission was messed up.

"Kokabiel is dead."

"What?!"

Hearing this, the careless expression vanished from Azazel's face, replaced by shock.

"Did you kill him?"

He didn't believe that the two Sacred Gear Users sent by the Church could handle Kokabiel.

Even adding Lucifer's Sister wouldn't make it possible.

Currently, the only beings in Komou Town capable of dealing with Kokabiel, besides Azazel himself, are Vali, the White Dragon Emperor.

"It wasn't me, it was someone else. But I don't know his background, so I wanted to ask you."

Vali's expression was serious.

"Albion told me that the one who killed Kokabiel was the great being from... from Heaven."

"Michael made a move?"

Azazel's heart sank.

Those Seraphim in Heaven are so stubborn. Could it be that the two Sacred Gear Users were just bait?

And Michael had actually disguised himself as a human and secretly come over?

"No, it's the only existence of a higher rank than the Seraphim. It's said that Albion was sealed within a Divine Artifact because of His doing back then."

Vali had explained it very clearly.

And he wanted to confirm the other party's identity from Azazel again.

However, just as Vali was about to press further, he suddenly found Azazel sitting on the tatami, completely frozen.

"Azazel, you know who He is, right?"

But Vali's inquiry still received no response.

Because Azazel's brain had completely crashed.

Not until a long while later.

Azazel's brain finally started working again.

"It can't be Him. He died after the great war ended, and even the System of Heaven had problems. Otherwise, the world wouldn't have become so chaotic."

As an expert in the Human Realm and Divine Artifacts, Azazel was very clear about the many bugs that appeared after the disappearance of those related to that great being.

If He were still alive, this world would operate normally.

And the Divine Artifacts they obtained would never have been available for other races to use.

"Azazel, what's wrong with you and Albion today? Even if it really is Him, why are you so afraid?"

Vali looked at the shocked Azazel, feeling utterly confused.

You are the Governor of the Fallen Angels, why are you afraid of the Lord of Heaven?

If you were afraid, then why did you choose to betray Heaven and fall back then?

Upon hearing this, Azazel wanted to retort, but having been in a high position for so long, he suddenly realized why he should be afraid of his former boss.

Moreover, so many years had passed; even if He were still alive, He would surely be unable to appear directly due to some matter.

Otherwise, how could the Three Factions have coexisted peacefully for nearly a thousand years?

"You're right, Vali, I lost my composure just now."

"Even if it's really Him, as the Governor of the Fallen Angels, I shouldn't be like this. I was just too surprised."

Azazel took a deep breath.

However, before he could inhale a second breath, he suddenly saw a third figure appear in the room, he didn't know when.

Rosen smiled lightly as he looked at Azazel: "How about it? Aren't you surprised to see me?"
