"It's only 11 PM, why doesn't that old guy Flander wait until the middle of the night to go in?" Shao Xin, holding a low-light night vision telescope at the observation point to Oschin's right, asked with some doubt.
"Never mind that for now, Teacher Shao, can you find Dean Flander's location? There's no sign of him in this telescope at all." Dai Mubai asked, voicing the concerns of the students gathered in the small foam metal treehouse.
"I'm not asking you to spot him. If Flander, wearing an invisibility soul tool, were easily spotted by you kids from five kilometers away with your telescopes, he wouldn't need to enter the City Lord's Mansion. He'd just be asking for trouble.
What I'm asking you to see is what changes will happen in the City Lord's Mansion later. We've already detected the presence of vampire bats in the City Lord's Mansion, so Flander's mission isn't to confirm the existence of evil soul masters anymore. What he needs to do is figure out what those evil soul masters are doing." How many Soul Masters are there? What is the City Lord's condition? Where are those evil Soul Masters staying? After realizing he couldn't find Dean Flander through his binoculars, Oschin had been focusing his attention on observing the movements of the servants in the City Lord's Mansion. Silently watching the swarm of vampire bats spread their wings and soar across the sky above the City Lord's Mansion before plunging into the artificial hill in the northern garden, Oschin suddenly understood why Flander had infiltrated the mansion so soon after the bats left.
Because of the vampire bats' presence, Shrek Academy's detection soul tools, lacking sound wave absorption devices, dared not be used recklessly within the City Lord's Mansion (Oschin dared to use soul-guided drones to film over the mansion during the day because vampire bats were inactive during the day, and because the filming process was actually very brief; it was normal for a bird to fly by in broad daylight).
This meant that Shrek Academy no longer possessed an absolute technological advantage in this reconnaissance mission; they had to rely entirely on their individual abilities to infiltrate and investigate, just like the soul masters of this era.
Shao Xin's previous analysis was flawless. Finding the exact location of those evil spirit masters in such a vast city lord's mansion by searching inch by inch alone would be incredibly time-consuming, something Flander simply didn't have. He needed to use some clever tricks to achieve his goal.
Considering this was the evil spirit masters' lair, no matter how realistic the unexpected events Flander orchestrated, they might eventually sense the danger. So what could be safer than tracking down their own "people" to their hideout?
Oschin connected the telescope to a recording soul tool, allowing the footage seen through the telescope to be simultaneously recorded. After
