"What did you do?" Vincent asked as he walked paced along with the Jing Luan, followed by the teen disciple.
"Rou'er." Jing Luan stopped her pace and turned her head towards the teem boy.
Startled with the sudden mention of his name, the boy subconsciously lifted his head and waited for his master to speak.
"Pack your food and necessary belongings," Jing Luan said and without explanation, dismissed him with the wave of her hand.
The boy nodded his head and ran away in opposite direction, probably the place where his chamber was built.
And with a whisp of wind, Jing Luan walked forward, without glancing a gaze towards Vincent.
Despite her cold behaviour, Vincent followed her.
"Do you know, I believed human carries moral of giving freedom. But you don't, you made me your slave without my permission and threw me out to get whipped and embarrassed. Why didn't you defend me, why is that dog Ming Bo isn't punished?" Vincent ranted beside Jing Luan, growing irritated and aggigated for no explanatory reason.
"Firstly, you are not my slave, but a beast I promised the sect to raise. And secondly, ignore Ming Bo, as the sect people ignores him. He is a distant cousin of the crown prince." Jing Luan explained.
"If he is related to royalty, what the fuck we are working hard for. Shouldn't that man, I forgot his name, but nevermind; shouldn't he be demanding money from that dog?"
"The king doesn't acknowledge him, and the reason he is here because his family doesn't care either."
"You mean the sect is just filled with infiltrated pieces of shit like him?"
"Many,"
Vincent visibly sighed as he thought, 'Arghhh, why the fuck Felix, couldn't you have been little bit kinded and sent me to a better and richer sect instead!?'
"Well if that's the case, why you and your people don't treat him like shit either?" Vincent questioned.
"We can't,"
"Why?"
"Just because,"
Vincent grew aggigated by Juan Ling answer and his ears became red from anger.
His hands immediately acted hostile as they forwarded and charged for the woman.
But the idea left his brain as he stopped his hands mid air before persuing his lips and stomping his foot in anger on the ground.
Unaffected by his behaviour, Jing Luan walked ahead and opened the wooden door leading towards the room where the children who froze in the timezone with Vincent's power layed on the ground.
Vincent despite his anger, followed behind her and looked at the woman. The woman snapped her finger and in less than a second, Vincent was panged with back pain.
Jing Luan withdrew the nerve manipulation and hence the affects of the strike returned.
"Are you planning to weaken me till I have no energy to even lean my finger?" Vincent asked as he sat on the ground, while the back of his shirt visibly black.
"No," And with that being said, Jing Luan didn't spare a glance at the vampire, took out a knife from her sleeve and ran it across her wrist.
Blood splattered on the ground, right before Vincent.
A marvelous sensation hit Vincent's body with the sudden smell of the blood.
When his body weakens, Vincent couldn't smell blood not lust over it, unless blood is placed in front of him, like right now.
The pain in his back was long gone, and different sensation grew in his stomach.
Hunger and itchiness.
His canine elongated involuntarily, while his eyes changes it's color from black to red.
It was almost a leap, when he pouched towards Jing Luan and cornered her between the walls, his hands resting on her shoulder.
His breath grew heavier as the neck of the woman came into his view.
Being this close, every secret behind her fabric came to his view. Blue veins, fainted scars, a mole and her neck line.
Everything details seemed alluring at that moment. Vincent leaned his head near her nape and took a deep breath.
His stomach hurted from the hunger built inside him. And so, his fangs pierced the outer skin when he heard a whisper.
"Don't,"
He couldn't describe how much he wanted to pierce his fangs on her neck, draw every little drop of blood her body had and kill her.
But his fucking body heeds her words like command. Even when he tries to be out of the bound, an invisible external force make his body whatever she wishes.
Vincent gritted his teeth as he unwillingly withdrew from her neck and looked at her.
Those blue eyes of hers were no different than the ice, freezing in time and cold at the same time.
He withdrew his hands from her shoulder and placed them on the wooden walls behind her.
His nails scratched the wood with exasperation.
He eyes momentarily closed for a second before he took her hand and licked the blood from her wrist.
His canine poke a small hole in her index finger and drew blood, sucking it in his mouth.
The grip of his hand tightened across the skin, drawing more blood from her skin.
"Stop, you are healed." Jing Luan could sense the erratic behaviour in Vincent's Qi, hence she placed her hands on his chest and stopped him from drinking more blood.
Vincent immediately stopped and walked away, holding the back of his neck and feeling the power surging inside his body.
"Now, fix them," Jing Luan pointed towards her disciple with her chin while looking at Vincent.
She noticed his Adam's apple moving up and down before lifting his red eyes.
His eyes momentarily flickered from red to black, and in a moment of second the disciple sat up from their position.
They looked at Vincent with fear before backing away into the walls.
Although not satisfied, but a little taste of blood, Vincent mood instantly lifted and seeing the boys quivering in front of him, it made his day.
"Be prepared kids, I am going to eat you one by one." Vincent walked ahead with an eerie smile before getting stopped by Jing Luan.
"Back away," Her slanted eyes threateningly glared at him and Vincent raised his hands on defeat.
"Wow, wow, I am not going to eat your students,"
"Your Qi is unstable, better stay away from them or if you want to be with them, I can take away energy you have left behind."
The smile on Vincent lips dropped as he immediately walked away with defeat.
Keenly observating the man leaning against the wall near the exit door, Jing Luan turned her head towards her disciple and announced, "We are leaving for the, pack up food and necessary belongings. Before that, come and take medicine from my chamber."
And with that, she turned away and walked ahead.
But Vincent didn't follow her. One students sat one by one and immediately ran behind Jing Luan.
"Shizun, who is he?"
"Shizun, why is he here?
"Shizun, is he a monster?"
"Shizun..."
The disciples showered question at Jing Luan but she walked ahead quietly. Once noticing that Vincent wasn't beside her nor behind but in the same position, leaning against the wall, she called him, "What are you doing?"
"Keeping my distance from your students," Vincent replied.
Jing Luan blinked before she realised he was throwing a trantrum, she shook her head and told one of her student to bring him along.
The woman turned her head and walked ahead, with a subtle smile on her face, "What a kid."
