Yoshi lay on the stretcher as paramedics raided the QCF with Detective Naomasa looking over the carnage,
'These kids really didn't need this; the cities' orphanages were all attacked along with school zones, too.'
He lights a cigarette, already knowing the number of cases going to pop up now,
'This Facility was the only one to have deaths, though, strange, but its likely all for one's doing'
Blowing smoke, paramedics take Yoshi as he seems to be on the verge of death, and one of his legs has been severed. Two kids approach the detective out of nowhere.
'Naomasu, please, you got to find my friend Sanemi, please"
Both boys, one with a mutant mantis quirk and the other with a black lightning-shaped streak along his hair, but frizzed from lightning, it seemed, were asking, having blood all over themselves.
"Kid, we only just arrived. We have no one to locate him after tonight. We'll deal with it, but right now, many are scared and injured."
Toguru looked at Denki with a closed fist in anger
"There was a villain attack here... we, uh, fought him. We need to find Sanemi; he was the only reason we or any other kid lived. Please, I beg you."
Naomasa was peering down at the two and back at the carnage, with all the scared and now even more traumatized kids. With a sigh, he thought
'should check on the villain's location. How bad was it?'
"Show me where the villain is."
His sigh grows even deeper, asking kids to show such gruesome scenery,
'Why does the world seem so dark lately? Nothing but quirk accidents, villain attacks. All might have said he would increase his runs through the city, but he left for America weeks ago.
They pass a corridor of bodies, and the boys point toward the mass of flesh with denki barfing, with Naomasa covering his mouth, dropping the cigarette.
"That's the villain..."
The scene was gruesome, too gruesome, even the body of the villain was in cubes of flesh and intestines, and the bodies of others also lay cut into pieces, likely due to Sanemi's finishing blow.
"Alright, did you see when Sanemi did this?"
Both boys said 'no', Naomasa told the two to leave. He will look for the boy second, but right now, tending to the kids is more important. He knows Sanemi will be alright, but these kids,
'I hate this shit hole of a society.'

2 weeks later....
A deep grimace is written on Yoshi's face,
"They are forcing Quirk Control Facilities to join HPSC? It was a total shit whole I caused, but the kids... Now kids will be forced to abandon their lifes for a corrupt pile of rubbish.'
He calmed himself down. His cousin Nezu is much smarter than him; this being the first time he reached out speaks volumes already. However, his anger towards himself and the actions caused by his 'honor' remained.
"Yoshi, we have not been on good terms, but what I say is true: abandon the QCF, It was a failing site after the 13th year, money was running low, and my funds weren't enough to help."
He clenched the phone so much tighter,
"Nezu, what.... Should I do?"
Yoshi, while he was a good person, even foolishly so, his jealousy towards Nezu's intellect was immense, and he always questioned and rejected Nezu's advice regarding what to do with the QCF, thinking Nezu was not a very good person, and what does he know about emotions?
"After all these years it took that long to ask for help, you know I don't think opposing the HPSC is smart, as I always said and it is likely why this incident happened as HPSC have shown symptoms of using trigger and on that moonfish boy they might've had a covert worker injecting him with the drug more and more over time..."
Yoshi paused, as to how he didn't think of it, he hates them even more, but to suspect them is bold.
"Why would they do such a thing, the number of people murdered, killed, and some kids even lay scarred, never recovering from such a thing."
Nezu thought deeply but quickly answered,
"The HPCS has done this before with the predecessor of QCF, Quirk help program, or QHP in short... I helped, and this tactic was used to create the HPSC, taking over the QHP and rebranding it into what we have today..."
Yoshi paused,
'Is this why he never received open help from his cousin and why he has been so distant lately, as he knew what was bound to happen and probably knew I wouldn't listen.'
"Why were you a part of such an operation, Nezu?"
"Well, I had no choice, as you know, to start the Hero school as well known as U.A. I needed to help another Hero program by the government's orders. 100 years ago, I was the smartest creature alive... You would know how oppressive the government was in hero affairs."
Nezu sipped his coffee now, feeling the bitter taste more than ever,
"I told you when we were first created, I would never tell you a lie, but to tell you the plan the HPSC had was too heartbreaking, so I chose not to speak at all. I'm... very sorry."
Yoshi cried in his heart, but on the outside, he was just speechless. He wanted to hate Nezu, but he was so naive, believing the HPCS wouldn't mess with their Facility, but now he needed to focus.
"So, do I join the HPCS?"
"Yes, and No."
Nezu said, but Yoshi didn't understand, but before he could ask Nezu continued
"You have to join the HPCS but not be a part of their staff, just allow the HPCS to slightly change the ways things work, and they will force you to train the kids; they aren't really focused on adoption, so to speak."
Yoshi thought but couldn't wonder why Nezu sounded hesitant on one last detail.
"What else?"
With a slight huff, Nezu spoke
"All kids will be forced to join either an agency of HPCS's choice or a hero school. I know you never wanted this, but it is the only option you have now. Just try to make the kids happy, the HPCS only monitors progress, not how they're treated."
"I have to go now, just be sure to make the right decision Yoshi. You're smart as well, never forget that."
The call now ended, he had a helluva few years ahead of him, too much information he learned, too many memories came up, too many problems, and too many mistakes he made.
'Sanemi is missing too... I need the strongest bit of alcohol known to man.'
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
2 years later
Footsteps echoed as a boy, 7 years of age, ran away from a slum gang.
'Who knew slum lords force children to join their shitty gang?'
He turned a corner to see more goons, but then used his quirk to float to a building as a man with a kangaroo quirk leapt on the building as well.
"brat, we're gonna have to do this the hard w-"
His head was bisected as his body fell off the rooftops.
"Oh shit,"
The boy dropped down, and all the lackeys went to use their quirk, but the wind pushed everyone back,
The goons were decimated with only one managing to use his quirk, a melting quirk only able to melt inorganic matter, but as he went to melt the boy's sword, wind cleaved his hands,
More goons flooded the street, but all were in Infront of the boy as he spoke, sitting in a lunging stance, eyes filled with bloodlust,
"Wind breathing first form: Wind Cutter Slash."
In a breath, the ally, once packed up with gooneys, was now nothing but carnage.
Sanemi stared at his blade, the glint always showing that boy called a monster so long ago, but he resonated with the words now, a monster was fitting for him.
He used wind to clean all the blood. The police always hated it when he was finished, so he learned to make the scene a little less shocking, but his brutality towards villains was always gory
With another look, Sanemi frowned, picking up the plague doctor mask
'They haven't stopped trying to get me since I first came to Hosu'
These last years have been nothing but killing, and he always seems to be on the run with heroes constantly out to capture him. His anger rose like fire getting drenched in achohol,
He slammed his fist into the wall denting it as he peered into the darkness of the sky.
'kill, eat, sleep. Kill, eat, sleep, that is all I do,'
He looks at the mask, destroying it within his hands,
'I'll kill them if it's the last thing I do, all villains should die.'
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Shoto Aizawa has been out at night more than ever these days,
'This kid is a problem; the sheer quantity in which these bodies are found is worrying, let alone the missing limbs and rolling heads.'
Aizawa couldn't lie knowing such a person capable of so much was just a child hurt, and scared him.
'If a big-time villain gets a hold of him, it would be trouble. He could even pose a challenge to me at this age is insane,'
Tonight went as usual, bodies littered around alleys, and no sight of the kid.
'Why am I the only one trying to catch this kid? I know Shie Hassaikai's presence is what scares most, but not one other hero to help this part of Hosu.'
He was sent here to look for a boy by the name of Sanemi, but upon finding this location of Hosu, there was no option of leaving this place after seeing no hero even entering this zone, even Hosu's only heroes won't touch this part of Hosu.
Drips of eye drops hit Aizawa's restless eyes as it is a ritual at this point.
'the nights almost over... That Shinso brat has been bugging me on hero training, but I'm working all night these days with no time to look after him like I promised.'
He couldn't shake the thought, and he always took the most ignorant route to deal with any situation.
'I should've never taken Shinso, there was always a family I could have had him be a part of if I had waited, then maybe another much more flexible hero would've taken Shinso.'
He shouldn't be so regretful as he made this decision years ago; he shouldn't question it now. leaping across building dawn on the arizin, he sped past blocks of slums,
Yet as he scanned another alley, he saw a boy with white, pale hair with scars littered across his face. Without hesitation, his quirk flared, hair rising, eyes glowing a faint red, the boy noticed the absence of his quirk, turned to see Aizawa smiling, beginning an almost monthly cat-and-mouse chase.
Sanemi spun around, turning the corner when Aizawa came out the same time, throwing his capture scarf towards Sanemi, but he leapt on top of the roof,
' his quirk is shut off, yet he can still leap so far. I still got the jump on him this time, I might have a chance.'
Aizawa leapt as well, following closely behind the boy, but before things escalated, he spoke,
"WE DON'T HAVE TO FIGHT. I JUST WANT TO TALK THIS TIME!"
Aizawa rubbed his throat.
'Yeah, I'm leaving the screaming to Present mic, not my thing at all.'
The boy stopped, looking at Aizawa's figure as both stopped,
"I just ha-"
"Like hell."
With that, the floor below Sanemi broke as Aizawa threw capture tape, flinging himself as fast as possible to follow the form of Sanemi, but felt the link disconnect between them, so as far as he knew, this chase was over already.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sanemi blurred out the building, having used his quirk at full blast once he regained his quirk.
'his quirk is powerful, but he is a slowpoke, especially compared to me.'
The sky is now bright, full of the sun's rays of shine, as he enters an abandoned building, he lets out a breath,
'Tonight was just fight after fight, villain after villain, but a hero is uncommon, mhmm, fucking slow for being a hero full time.'
He walked along rusted hallways, remembering how he got here so long ago. She helped him so much that even now he is grateful, but he never asked how she got out here, and she never asked the same; a mutual understanding of boundaries.
"Sanemi, you're back."
Checking over him, she surmised
"unharmed I see, better th-"
"Let's not talk about yesterday, that man had a curse quirk, who would've guessed?"
while he rolled his eyes, but the girl still looked amused,
"You know, we never expected to live as comfortably as now."
Sanemi hated how reliant they were on her quirk, but still, a creation quirk was useful.
"For a little boy, you sure act so much older for your age."
Sanemi couldn't help but blush as she ruffled his hair,
"For a 15-year-old, relying on a 9-year-old for help is crazy, too"
The girl known as Kushina laughed, but Sanemi was still in a headlock,
"Do you think things will be better Kushi? I'm not sure when all of this ends, even with your help; villains... ruin everything."
Kushina let go, studying his expression, as he always had episodes after a hard night, maybe a bit bipolar if she was asked, but played more of a mom role to him than she wanted to.
"Well, things aren't all bad. We have enough money to buy an apartment, but in a not-so-good area, we just need a little more to split even on a house in the Mie prefecture."
Sanemi undressed as he stressed about not being the 'right age' to even live in an apartment yet,
"I have one more year before I can legally get an apartment, also in the location I want. All you have to do is sneak in and boom, a level up."
She began to undress as well, a very common occurrence in this rundown building, but with Kushina's quirk, it is practically a 5-star hotel in certain aspects, like the shower, for instance, one of the main necessities Kushina pressed seeing Sanemi covered in blood when they met.
Now both are on opposite sides of the curtain. Sanemi kept pondering on Kushina's quirk, it's a creation quirk, but it manipulates the heat in the air into matter. She also has to know the exact combination and how much of each material or ingredient is needed for its creation.
An extremely complicated quirk with too many needed parts to be useful in many endeavors, even this shower system took her a whole year; this is likely from incompatible quirks.
"Kushi, was your birth a result of a failed quirk marriage, which would explain not having a surname?"
Sanemi wasn't one to pry into people's lives, but to have such an odd quirk and an even more mysterious origin, and the already spiraling thoughts in his head, he really wanted an answer
"Hmmm, I never thought of it, but not knowing my parents could be part of it, not knowing my parents or having any identification is the reason we're still in this situation."
The shower stopped running as both were drying off,
"Since we're asking questions... how was having a family like anyways, I know you speak highly of your brother, how was having parents like?"
Sanemi would've gotten irritated had he not just asked an even more insulting question, or more like a statement.
"It was sorta like we are now, fun, but a lot of hidden responsibilities across the board, even the youngest bears a responsibility, but when you know almost everything about each other, talking feels more natural and with less weight on the mind, less secrets, more duty."
"Parents are more like loving wardens; sometimes they can hurt you, but they try their best to keep all outside worries to a minimum. If there is a problem, you likely wouldn't know, but you would definitely feel it."
Kushina still didn't know what he meant, maybe a 9-year-old isn't the best to answer that question, but now she can confirm she is quite parenty if she were asked.
Both wore pajamas as they exited the shower, quietly assessing the previous words
"I'm starting to think we're goddamn vampires."
Sleeping during the day for them is common, as most of both Kushina's and Sanemi's time is spent late afternoon and throughout the night.
"I think that's a fitting description these days with all these hours at the warehouse, I hardly see the sun,"
Sanemi lay resting beside Kushina,
"Why would they have a 15-year-old work but not be able to get an apartment?"
Kushina could only yawn,
"legal mumbo jumbo, Sanemi, legal mumbo jumbo."
As both fell asleep,

Ngl, not something I'm proud of, but this chapter had to come out to take the writer's block away, never felt it until now, still like i said I never drop anything, I have the itch again so i capitalized on it
