Chapter 40 - Shredder Wants to Call the Police? [Requesting Stones]

Inside the "Titan Crucible," a deathly darkness reigned, with only the emergency exit signs emitting a faint green glow.

The air was thick with the smell of disinfectant, blood, and an indescribable, putrid odor characteristic of biological experiments.

Joo Ja-yoon led the way, violently forcing open a heavy alloy door, revealing a massive experimental arena – a raging, bone-armored monster, partially freed from its restraints, let out a deafening roar!

"Roar—!"

It turned out the door didn't lead to a passage, but a huge enclosed experimental arena!

A massive, muscular monster, its skin covered in irregular bone armor, was restrained in a huge containment device.

The power outage had clearly disrupted the containment field, and the monster was struggling to break free from its last shackles.

Feeling the intruders, it violently turned its head, its compound eyes flashing with savage killing intent, corrosive slime dripping from its mouth.

"Ja-yoon!" Hawk's warning came through the earpiece.

Joo Ja-yoon reacted instantly, rushing at extreme speed towards the core terminal array deep within the laboratory, brutally inserting a specialized "key" device, equipped with physical interface and data transfer modules, into the server's main port.

"Interface connected... acquiring permissions... initiating remote copy."

Having done all this, Joo Ja-yoon turned to face the giant beast charging madly at her, a bloodthirsty glint in her eyes. Her figure shot out like a cannonball!

Her movements were incredibly fast; before the bone-armored monster's claws could reach her, she executed an astonishing pivot, dodging the attack. Her slender fist, with a tearing whistle through the air, precisely slammed into the most vulnerable bone seam at the monster's joint!

Crack!

A bone-chilling crunch echoed!

The monster let out a painful roar, its assault momentarily stalled.

Joo Ja-yoon's figure clung to it like a maggot to bone, her pure physical strength and combat skills pushed to the extreme, each attack precisely striking the monster's nerve nodes or weak defensive points.

Meanwhile, a heart-stopping energy fluctuation came from the other side.

Eun-bi's hands clenched, and an invisible, powerful telekinetic field slammed down like a giant hammer, crushing an incredibly fast arthropod bio-beast that had lunged from the shadows directly onto the floor, green bodily fluids splattering!

Hawk paid no heed to the fierce battle on the screens.

Inside the safe house, his hands were a blur on the control panel.

On the screen, blue light bands representing data streams cascaded down like a waterfall, pouring into a virtual storage device flashing with encryption symbols.

TCRI's most core, darkest biotechnology data, spatial distortion experiment data, unregistered bio-modification sequence maps, unethical human experiment reports, astonishing research results on spatial anomalies and unstable wormhole theory, laboratory personnel lists, black accounts of funding sources... everything was exposed to Hawk's eyes.

Boom!

On the other side, Joo Ja-yoon seized the opening created by the monster's injury, delivering a fiercely powerful knee strike to its jaw, the immense force almost tearing its entire head off!

The monster's massive body crashed to the ground, twitching a few times before falling still.

Eun-bi had also dealt with the last few small guard beasts, her telekinetic field isolating the splashing corrosive liquid.

"Copy complete! Physical purge program initiated!" Hawk confirmed the data transfer was successful, then immediately gave the command.

Ja-yoon and Eun-bi exchanged glances, quickly withdrawing from the server room.

Joo Ja-yoon, following Hawk's last sent coordinates, placed several high-energy thermobaric bombs on the laboratory's critical support structures and energy core nodes.

Eun-bi, using her telekinesis, precisely tossed some lethal biological sample containers near the bomb placement points.

"Withdraw!"

Their figures rapidly swept outwards.

Rumble, rumble, rumble—!!!

Violent explosions erupted from deep underground; even on the surface, a strong tremor could be felt.

Flames mixed with thick smoke spewed from the gaps in the disguised facility, announcing the complete destruction of the "Titan Crucible."

All illegal evidence, dangerous experimental subjects, along with this costly den of iniquity, were physically erased.

Inside the safe house, Hawk watched as the last signal representing the laboratory completely disappeared from the screen, and the window displaying the "Prism Dome" laboratory structure map opened on the main screen – that was the next target.

"Target 'Titan Crucible' cleared, data acquisition complete. Mission accomplished."

Hawk confirmed with the two operatives, then his gaze shifted to the coordinates of "Prism Dome." "Rest for 4 hours, next stop: Montana."

12 hours later, the "Prism Dome" laboratory met the same fate.

Power and network cut, real-time weakness guidance, Joo Ja-yoon and Eun-bi's powerful assault and cleanup, Hawk's precise remote data theft, and finally physical destruction.

Although there were some twists and turns, with the spatial-blinking experimental subjects giving Eun-bi some trouble, Joo Ja-yoon's powerful telekinesis suppressed and destroyed them, and the result was still perfect.

In TCRI's executive conference room, the screen showed a grim-faced Shredder, the atmosphere terrifyingly low.

Two consecutive, immensely expensive, and top-secret laboratories had been silently destroyed, their core data wiped clean. Who was the enemy? How did they do it?

They couldn't even find any proper attack traces; the scene was just thoroughly blasted ruins and completely erased electronic footprints.

Call the police?

Say that we were conducting illegal human experiments and space weapon research in the wilderness, and then an unknown force wiped out our base?

That would undoubtedly be digging their own grave.

They could only suppress their towering rage and boundless fear, confining the investigation to their most trusted inner circle, while frantically reinforcing the security of other facilities, licking their wounds like wounded beasts, wondering when the next destruction would strike.
