Chapter 73: Going Home, Receiving a Letter
After Hermione lay down, she seemed to feel uncomfortable.
Finding a suitable position, she hugged Xiao Deng's waist and finally settled down.
Xiao Deng also slowly drifted into dreamland; practicing while dreaming was naturally much faster than ordinary practice.
This was a conclusion reached after countless previous attempts.
...
"Woo~" The train whistled, and Neville was instantly woken up.
Xiao Deng also slowly opened his eyes.
"Xiao Deng, we've reached the station in the Wizarding World. I'm going to get off first."
Seeing that Hermione hadn't woken up, Neville could only whisper to Xiao Deng.
Xiao Deng revealed a gentle smile.
"It's fine, go ahead."
After speaking, Neville took his luggage and got off the train.
As soon as the compartment door closed, the expression on Xiao Deng's face could no longer be maintained.
What the hell is with this train? Delivering goods on the train again! It was like this when we came too!
He let out a slight sigh. "Clean!" Only then did he feel fresh and clean in his pants.
The person in his arms, however, was sleeping peacefully.
After waking up, Xiao Deng didn't go back to sleep but instead looked at the scenery outside the window.
In her dream, Hermione seemed to smell a familiar scent again, but she also felt it was very strange.
It disappeared after a moment. Is it really that realistic in dreams?
...
As the sun set, the train came to a steady stop.
Xiao Deng affectionately pinched Hermione's little cheek. "Hermione, time to wake up."
Hermione, still sleepy, opened her eyes hazily. "Are we there?"
Hermione sat up abruptly, her face slightly flushed. How did she end up snuggling into Xiao Deng's arms to sleep again?
Hermione asked cautiously, "You didn't sleep?"
Xiao Deng was taken aback for a moment, then smiled slightly. "I just closed my eyes to rest for a little while."
Hermione's expression became a bit flustered. She had been so careless as to snuggle into Xiao Deng's arms to sleep, which must have been why he could only rest with his eyes closed.
She really was terrible!
Xiao Deng didn't pay attention to the changing expressions on Hermione's face. "Hurry and get off; we've arrived."
Hermione finally came back to her senses; she would get off the train first and deal with it later.
The two of them took their luggage and got off the train.
"Xiao Deng, where do you live?" "In the city center!"
Hermione stared at Xiao Deng with wide eyes. "Are you sure?" "That's where all the wealthy families live!"
Xiao Deng was amused by Hermione's reaction. "Where did you see that I was poor?"
Hermione then realized that Xiao Deng was simply too low-key.
So low-key that the things he used daily were excellent, yet others overlooked it.
Thinking about the things Xiao Deng had given her, she realized they were not cheap items at all.
Xiao Deng was so good to her, yet she caused him trouble from time to time; thinking about it made her feel a bit guilty.
It seemed she needed to get to know Xiao Deng better.
Xiao Deng revealed a gentle smile and waved. "See you when school starts."
Hermione also waved back reluctantly. She turned around and saw her mom and dad waiting not far away.
It looked like they had been waiting for a while.
Xiao Deng saw Hermione rush directly into her parents' arms, her joy evident.
By the time Hermione turned back to look, Xiao Deng had already disappeared from where he was standing.
Mr. Granger naturally saw the interaction between the two just now and asked kindly, "Are you looking for that boy?"
Hermione's face turned red; having her father bring up such things was still a bit embarrassing.
Mrs. Granger lightly tapped Mr. Granger. "You asked so directly, the child will be embarrassed."
"I was just mentioning it casually. Then how do you suggest I ask?"
Mrs. Granger rolled her eyes at her husband and then crouched down. "Hermione, is that boy your new little boyfriend?"
Mr. Granger covered his forehead; you were even worse than me!
Hermione was a bit annoyed and embarrassed: "Mommy, don't talk nonsense!" "He is my classmate, a MuggleWizard just like me."
"He is very capable and takes good care of me at school."
Mrs. Granger smiled and said, "Then this boy is quite good; he's already taken on the responsibilities of a boyfriend."
"Unlike your father, who only knows how to fix teeth."
Hermione's flushed face darkened. Mommy, you're not going to stop, are you?
Mr. Granger was also speechless. How did he end up being the target?
"Alright, alright, stop asking. Let's go home and eat first; our baby must be hungry."
Mr. Granger's words successfully interrupted his wife's rant. The family of three happily got into the car and went home.
Hermione still snuck a glance at the spot where Xiao Denghad been standing just a moment ago. But it was still empty!
Xiao Deng teleported to the entrance of his villa.
Inside, an old butler was sweeping the floor; it seemed the house was well-managed.
This butler was hired by Xiao Deng in the past and had been taking care of Xiao Deng's daily life; it seemed he was indeed responsible.
Xiao Deng walked in slowly, and the butler's eyes widened when he saw him. "Young Master, you've returned!"
Xiao Deng nodded with a smile. "Mr. Avery, you've worked hard during this time."
Avery bowed. "You hired me, so this is what I should do."
Xiao Deng didn't continue the small talk and walked slowly into the villa. The inside of the villa was also kept in perfect order, which made Xiao Deng extremely satisfied.
"Mr. Avery, please make something to eat; I've been traveling all day." "Very well, Young Master, please wait a moment."
Before long, Avery brought an exquisite light meal and placed it in front of Xiao Deng.
Knowing that Xiao Deng didn't like things like salads, he made bread, bacon, and eggs.
Xiao Deng wasn't picky; he would just make do with it for now—it was better than nothing.
"Do you have any other instructions?" "Not for now. I'll call you if I need anything." "Very well."
Afterward, Avery retreated to attend to his own business.
Looking at everything around him, he had an illusion of feeling like a lifetime had passed, as if a long time had gone by.
He poked a sausage and put it in his mouth again when a sound came from outside the window. "Knock, knock, knock~"
Xiao Deng raised an eyebrow; he was too familiar with this sound. It was the sound of an Owl delivering a letter.
Xiao Deng opened the window, and an Owl flew in. "Huh? This Owl looks a bit unfamiliar."
He picked up the letter the Owl had dropped. Only then did Xiao Deng understand that this was an Owl from Weasley Family.
This was a letter from Ron. "Chirp, chirp~"
Xiao Deng glanced at the Owl and chuckled; the little guy was looking for food.
After delivering a letter, Wizards would usually provide food to the Owl to express their gratitude, so they would have enough energy to fly back.
Generally, the hosts wouldn't be stingy, as their own Owls also had times when they needed to deliver letters.
Xiao Deng took out a large pile of meat from his spatial ring and placed it in front of the Owl. This was left over from the last time they had Quidditch.
The spatial ring had a preservation function, so it still looked quite appetizing. The Owl excitedly flapped its wings. "Chirp, chirp~" "You are such a good Wizard!"
He then opened Ron's letter. "Dear Mr. Xiao Deng Hehuan Sect." "Ugh!" "Why is Ron's letter so nauseating?"
Chapter 74: Visiting Weasley Family
Ron meant that he had already sought out Professor McGonagall and learned about the gift Xiao Deng had sent.
Professor McGonagall had already taken him to Diagon Alley to buy a new wand.
The new wand was very easy to use, and he liked it very much.
He had originally thought his father wouldn't be coming home due to work reasons.
Who knew what had happened, but there were no work arrangements.
So he hoped Ron would come back to visit if he had nothing else to do.
Furthermore, his father had already arranged to pick them up via a magic car.
However, the Weasley Brothers were a bit reluctant.
Xiao Deng knew exactly why they didn't want to go back just by looking at them.
Being home meant having their mischief constrained, and if they were caught, they'd get scolded; it was honestly better to be at school where they had freedom.
But how could Arthur and Molly not know what they were thinking? They still forced them to go back.
After learning about the wand, Ron's parents strongly requested that Ron invite Xiao Deng to visit Weasley Family.
And they even included the address of Weasley Family at the bottom.
Looking at this spacious villa, Xiao Deng did indeed find it a bit boring.
Going to Weasley Family wasn't out of the question; it might even be quite interesting.
Xiao Deng immediately wrote a reply, expressing that he felt very honored to receive the invitation.
He would visit Weasley Family in the coming days.
After writing it, he sealed it with his own magic mark.
Looking at the Owl on the side, it had already eaten its fill and was waiting for orders.
He took the opportunity to leave a trace of his spiritual sense on the Owl before sending it off.
It looked like he would have to make a trip himself.
Just as he stood up, Avery came into the villa's hall, glanced at Xiao Deng, and then lowered his head.
"Speak your mind, there's no need to hesitate."
Only then did Avery come before Xiao Deng.
"Young Master, there is a matter I would like to discuss with you."
Seeing that Xiao Deng had no reaction, Avery continued:
"Young Master, you are still young."
"And I am already old; in another two or three years, I fear I will reach my limit."
"I am already struggling to keep up with many things."
"I would like to ask for your permission to let my granddaughter take over my work."
"While I am still able to work for a few more years, I can teach her."
Looking at the aging old butler, Xiao Deng fell silent.
Birth, aging, sickness, and death are things that ordinary people always have to face.
Seeing that Xiao Deng wasn't speaking, Avery couldn't help but feel a bit nervous, and his palms were sweating slightly.
He did indeed harbor some selfish motives; he wanted his granddaughter to inherit his position.
After all, this nobleman, Xiao Deng, was very generous.
He would eventually be unable to work, and the master of the house would certainly find someone to replace him.
If that was the case, why couldn't it be his granddaughter?
This way, it would be someone he knew well, and he believed the Young Master would consider it.
After a long while, Xiao Deng looked up at Avery.
"Can you guarantee that your granddaughter possesses the same excellent qualities of loyalty and responsibility as you?"
"Young Master, I guarantee it!"
"Moreover, I will teach her everything about your affairs personally."
The villa fell into silence once again.
After a moment, Xiao Deng patted Avery on the shoulder.
"The matter you mentioned..."
"I agree!"
"I hope you do not disappoint me."
Avery bowed.
"Thank you for your understanding and cultivation, Young Master."
Xiao Deng leaned over to pick up his teacup and took a sip.
"As it happens, a friend has invited me over as a guest."
"It will take quite some time, so I won't be back for a few days."
"You can start the training now."
Avery looked at Xiao Deng in surprise.
"You are leaving already?"
"You haven't even stayed for a single day."
Xiao Deng sighed slightly.
"I plan to leave early tomorrow morning."
"Since the elders of the other party have invited me, if I don't go this time, I'm not sure when I'll have time again."
Avery bowed slightly.
"Then I wish you a pleasant journey in advance; I will look after this home for you."
Xiao Deng nodded slightly and returned to his room at a leisurely pace.
"The Young Master has grown up!"
The next day, after finishing breakfast, he headed out.
After confirming that the surroundings were safe, he cast a spell.
"Disillusionment: Disillusionment Charm."
Following the address on the letter, Xiao Deng quickly arrived at the doorstep of Weasley Family.
The methods of the cultivation world were indeed more efficient.
He sensed the spiritual mark he had left on the Owl.
Confirmed, this must be the place.
"Knock, knock, knock~"
Ron opened the door with a bitter expression, his eyes widening.
"Xiao Deng, you're so fast!"
"The letter only just arrived not long ago!"
Hearing the commotion, the Weasley couple came to the front door.
"This must be Mr. Hehuan; truly a man of impressive talent."
"Please, come in!"
The Weasley couple's eyes shone with admiration.
Originally, they had been somewhat skeptical of Ron's description.
After all, they knew their youngest son; he always thought anyone better than him was impressive.
Xiao Deng did not indulge in pleasantries regarding this.
Based on his many years of life experience, people in this world were not good at the art of polite modesty.
With his face and temperament, even the self-conceited Malfoy had given him a thumbs up.
To others, it was truly a dimensional reduction strike.
Everyone ushered Xiao Deng into the house.
Although Weasley Family was relatively strapped for cash, the interior still revealed the heritage of a pure-blood family.
"I've heard Ron speak of you; you've helped him a lot, and we are both incredibly grateful for that."
"We are classmates; it's only right to help each other," Xiao Deng replied with a smile.
"Ginny, come quickly and prepare some tea for Mr. Hehuan."
A response rang out from inside the house, and Xiao Deng's humanoid radar detection system immediately activated.
This voice—it was definitely a beautiful girl!
However, Xiao Deng maintained his composure on the surface.
Entering the room and seeing the Weasley Brothers, Xiao Deng couldn't help but smile.
"Oh, look who it is!"
"Are you happy to be home?"
Fred and George had been sulking just moments ago, but they immediately perked up upon seeing Xiao Deng.
This was the guy who could pull off any prank; they liked Xiao Deng way too much.
"Xiao Deng, you got here so fast!"
"Yeah, happy, we're very happy to see you."
The Weasley couple exchanged a glance, unable to understand their sons' behavior.
According to Ron, this child should be a good kid.
From the first glance, he also seemed like a good kid; his etiquette and behavior were no less than that of a nobleman.
So why was he so well-liked by their two mischievous sons?
However, the two didn't ask; after all, the person in question was still present, and it wouldn't be appropriate.
Mrs. Molly led Xiao Deng to a seat.
"I heard from Ron that you often help him review his schoolwork."
"And even this new wand was a Christmas gift you gave him."
"We have no way to repay you, so we can only invite you as a guest to stay for a few days to express our gratitude."
"From now on, Weasley Family will be your most loyal friends."
Weasley Family valued character; helpful, graceful, and more noble than the nobles themselves, they were very happy to make friends.
At this moment, Ginny also emerged from the inner room.
As soon as she came out, her gaze fell upon Xiao Deng.
He was simply too handsome!
Arthur and Molly exchanged a glance, both seeing the amusement in each other's eyes.
Arthur coughed lightly.
"Ahem, Ginny, bring the tea over quickly; our guest is waiting!"
Chapter 75: First Arrival at Weasley Family
Ginny was startled awake by her father's voice, her face flushing red involuntarily.
Making such a fool of herself, as if she had never seen a man before.
Ginny placed the tea in front of Xiao Deng.
Xiao Deng revealed a gentle smile and said softly, "Thank you!"
But she had never seen such a handsome boy before!
Xiao Deng's thanks made Ginny even more shy; where was her usual carefree demeanor at home?
She then sat obediently beside Molly Weasley.
Afterward, with the participation of the brothers, they chatted about some things at Hogwarts.
Things like fighting the Troll alone, controlling two houses single-handedly, and solving a Quidditch match in one minute—such heroic deeds.
The more they talked, the more stars appeared in Ginny's eyes as she looked at Xiao Deng.
Wasn't this her very own peerless hero?
And the way Arthur and Molly looked at Xiao Dengbecame increasingly fond.
The last time they saw a genius with such outstanding talent was... well, the last time.
Upon learning that Xiao Deng used to be a Muggle orphan who had fought his way up on his own.
The couple looked at Xiao Deng with even more earnestness.
He was a Muggle, and an orphan at that, yet he had fought for wealth that rivaled the nobility.
It's easy to compare goods, but comparing people...
Look at their own youngest son; what kind of thing is that?
While they were chatting happily, Ron felt his parents' gazes toward him becoming a bit gnashing.
Had he made a mistake today?
Suddenly, an Owl flew in and dropped a letter.
Upon seeing the magical signature and the seal on the envelope, Arthur's expression immediately became serious.
He opened it, and his brows furrowed together.
"I am truly sorry, but I may not be able to accompany you for this holiday."
"Xiao Deng, I'm sorry, I even made you come all this way."
Xiao Deng waved his hand magnanimously.
"You are too polite. If you have matters to attend to, please go ahead."
"Don't worry about me."
Arthur bowed apologetically, then stood up and left in a hurry.
Seeing Arthur about to leave, Molly quickly called out to him.
"If you are going out, take me with you."
"We have a guest, and I need to make some preparations for dinner."
Then she looked at Xiao Deng.
"I am truly sorry, just let them keep you company for a while."
"I need to prepare dinner."
Xiao Deng also magnanimously expressed his understanding.
As the Weasley couple left, the Weasley Brothersexchanged a glance.
"Mom and Dad aren't here!"
"Let's go out and play!"
Even Ron was somewhat tempted.
"Xiao Deng, come out and play with us."
Xiao Deng hesitated for a moment and looked at the three of them with difficulty.
"Can I not go?"
"I came here so quickly, and I am a bit tired."
"You go ahead and play; I might need to rest for a while."
Upon hearing this, they realized.
Traveling such a long distance at such a fast speed must have consumed energy; it was normal to be tired.
Fred and George showed expressions of regret on their faces.
"It's very safe here; you can rest assured."
"Then we'll go out to play."
Ron looked back at Ginny.
"Ginny, aren't you coming?"
Ginny answered Ron seriously.
"You are all going out to play; how can you leave Xiao Deng, a guest, alone at home?"
"I had better stay at home."
The three of them hesitated; Ginny was right.
They were just mischievous and loved to play, not impolite.
At this moment, Xiao Deng spoke up at the right time.
"It's okay, we are so familiar with each other, don't you know?"
"You go and play; I just need to rest, no need to look after me."
The three brothers all wanted to go out to play, only Ginnychose to stay.
In the end, only Ginny and Xiao Deng remained in the Weasley household.
With the others gone, the house became much quieter, and there was a bit of awkwardness between the two.
"Um, Ginny!"
"Could you prepare a room for me?"
Ginny looked up and readily agreed.
"Okay, follow me."
Ginny slowly walked up the stairs.
Her third brother hadn't returned, so using his room without permission wouldn't be appropriate.
Her fourth and fifth brothers' rooms were a mess of magical items.
It really wouldn't be appropriate to let a guest stay in there.
As for her sixth brother's room, forget it.
The room on the top floor—the stairs became extremely narrow when walking up to it.
Not to mention the inside of the room.
But it seemed her room on the third floor had the best light.
Ginny was shocked by her own thought.
He is a boy!
But he was perfect in every way—he was exactly her type!
The two little people in her brain were already about to fight.
While she was hesitating, the two had already arrived at the third floor.
Ginny steeled her heart—nothing ventured, nothing gained!
She directly opened the door to the third-floor room.
Xiao Deng followed Ginny into the room and raised an eyebrow; this was clearly a girl's room.
"This is a girl's room, right?"
"It's not appropriate for me to rest here!"
She had been hesitant before, but seeing Xiao Deng trying to decline, Ginny's decision became even firmer.
Want to run? No way!
"This is my room; my brothers' rooms aren't really suitable for you."
Xiao Deng looked at Ginny with some surprise; what kind of bold words were these?
It was better to be cautious until he figured out what Ginnywanted to do.
After all, she had two brothers with such a steady reputation; what if she learned bad habits from them?
"You, this... it's not appropriate, right? I'm a boy..."
Ginny blushed slightly and pretended not to care.
"You are just resting; I don't mind, are you looking down on me?"
With that said, who would look down on a beautiful girl!
It was mainly that he didn't feel at ease with a girl who grew up under the influence of her two brothers.
Xiao Deng had no choice but to half-reluctantly stay in Ginny's room.
"If you need anything, call me. I'll be right here in the house, not going anywhere."
Saying this, she walked outside and closed the door behind her.
Weasley Family was too enthusiastic; it was clear they were genuinely living well.
It was highly likely that their atmosphere was the polar opposite of the Malfoy family.
Although the conditions were a bit simple, it was harmonious and happy.
Ginny's room was not big, but it was small yet fully equipped.
He used Scourgify to clean himself up, then took off his coat and lay down on Ginny's bed.
As soon as he lay flat, the unique fragrance of a young girl surrounded Xiao Deng.
Concentrated but not dissipating, fragrant but not cloying.
Xiao Deng slowly closed his eyes, appearing to have slowly entered sleep, but in reality, he was secretly circulating his cultivation technique to practice.
After about an hour or so, rustling sounds came from downstairs.
With Xiao Deng's current strength, he could clearly distinguish it without even using his spiritual sense.
Molly Weasley slowly entered the house downstairs.
With a wave of magic, bags of ingredients appeared on the table.
"Mom, you're back!"
Molly Weasley looked at the empty house, feeling a bit puzzled.
"Where is Mr. Hehuan?"
"Why aren't your brothers at home either?"
Ginny reported truthfully to Molly.
"My brothers invited Mr. Hehuan out to play."
"But he traveled here, likely using some magic, and felt a bit tired, so he is sleeping upstairs now."
"My brothers went out to play by themselves."
"He is a guest, and I was afraid he might need something else, so I took the initiative to stay and accompany him."
Chapter 76: Bold Ginny
Mrs. Weasley slapped her forehead, feeling a bit regretful.
"I shouldn't have let them accompany the guest!"
"It makes me so mad!"
"Leaving the guest behind to go play, what kind of behavior is that!"
"Ginny, darling, you're the most reliable one."
Mrs. Weasley suddenly shrieked:
"Oh no!"
"Which room did you put him in?"
Ginny felt a bit shy in front of her mother, her face flushing slightly.
"Speak up, you're worrying me to death!"
Under Mrs. Weasley's urging, Ginny finally spoke hesitantly.
"I let him sleep in my room."
Mrs. Weasley nodded while tidying up the ingredients.
"Oh, sleep in your room."
"What?"
"Why is he sleeping in your room?"
Mrs. Weasley placed her hands on Ginny's shoulders, staring at her with wide eyes.
Ginny's eyes flickered.
"Mom, do you think the brothers' rooms are habitable?"
Mrs. Weasley's expression froze; what Ginny said seemed to make a lot of sense.
Especially the twins' room, it was practically impossible to enter, with stuff piled up everywhere.
It really wouldn't be appropriate for a guest to stay there.
Even so, a young girl having a man stay over sounded quite strange.
Suddenly, Mrs. Weasley's expression paused, and she stared blankly at Ginny before her.
"Ginny, darling, what do you think of Xiao Deng?"
Ginny thought for a moment and said:
"According to the brothers' descriptions, Brother Xiao Dengis very impressive."
"His talent can be said to crush his peers."
At this point, Mrs. Weasley wasn't in a hurry to handle the ingredients anymore; she slowly sat down on a stool.
"And him, what do you think of him?"
Ginny rolled her eyes upward.
"He feels pretty good, humble and polite."
"He looks better than the brothers."
"I think he's quite nice."
"Mom, why are you asking so much?"
This question made Mrs. Weasley feel a bit guilty.
"Nothing, just asking."
"It's a friend your brothers made, I'm just casually asking for your thoughts."
"What if you get deceived?"
Ginny said anxiously: "How could that be!"
"I think Brother Xiao Deng is very nice."
Perhaps feeling her attitude was a bit too eager, her face flushed slightly, and she retorted:
"Are you asking this because you see he's an orphan?"
"Are you planning to adopt him?"
Mrs. Weasley's face darkened. Adopt him? What kind of nonsense was that? Wouldn't it be better to take him in as a son-in-law?
In the end, he'd still be family!
And it would conveniently resolve her daughter's lifelong affair.
The best of both worlds, how wonderful!
That girl Ginny, she did something big without a word.
Not interested? How could she not be interested in such a good boy?
This old woman didn't believe it at all!
The look she gave her daughter became much more suggestive.
The child has grown up! She knows how to keep a man!
Mrs. Weasley cleared her throat gently.
"Well, if there's nothing else, I was just asking."
"Go wake Xiao Deng up; I'll be done cooking soon."
Just as Ginny stood up, she was called back by Mrs. Weasley.
"After waking him, let him play in your room; it's quite awkward for him to just stand there watching me cook."
"Speaking of which, it's all your brothers' fault; why did they run out to play for no reason?"
Ginny agreed, leaving Mrs. Weasley alone in the kitchen muttering to herself.
Ginny tiptoed to the third floor.
She carefully turned the doorknob and peered inside.
Seeing that Xiao Deng was still lying down, she heaved a huge sigh of relief.
Immediately, she inwardly cursed herself for being spineless; in her own home, why was she acting like a thief!
Ginny gently closed the door and came to Xiao Deng's side.
She looked carefully at Xiao Deng's features, and the more she looked, the more she blushed.
How could there be such a good-looking person in the world.
Ginny couldn't help but extend her index finger to poke Xiao Deng's cheek.
"Wow! So bouncy!"
Then she reached into the covers and poked Xiao Deng's chest.
"Huh?"
"This feeling isn't quite right!"
"It seems different from the brothers'?"
Moving further down, Ginny's eyes sparkled.
He looked plain on the outside, but she didn't expect Xiao Deng to have such a good physique.
The feel of these abs was just too good.
This is truly "thin in clothes, muscular when undressed"!
Worried about waking Xiao Deng, Ginny quickly withdrew her hand and tucked the quilt back over him.
Looking at the sleeping Xiao Deng, Ginny suddenly didn't want to wake him up.
That way, she could keep looking at him like this.
Looking at Xiao Deng's red lips and white teeth, Ginnycouldn't help but lean down.
It felt close, getting closer and closer.
Ginny felt her heart pounding.
She was terrified that Xiao Deng would suddenly wake up; that would be too embarrassing.
The distance was getting closer!
Ginny was sure Xiao Deng didn't wear perfume, yet a woody scent slowly lingered at the tip of her nose.
"Touched! Touched! Finally, touched!"
A soft sensation arrived.
He clearly hadn't moved, yet a uniquely masculine scent unreasonably invaded Ginny's mouth.
But there was no discomfort at all; instead, she felt a bit of enjoyment, and unexpectedly, it was exceptionally delicious.
Unable to help herself, Ginny slowly sat on the edge of the bed and leaned over Xiao Deng.
Not long after, a muffled groan startled Ginny.
"Hmm?"
Ginny jumped up immediately and moved away from the bedside.
Xiao Deng opened his eyes, bleary with sleep, looking around in confusion.
"Ginny?"
"I'm here, Brother Xiao Deng."
"You haven't been waiting here for me to wake up, have you?"
"That makes me feel so embarrassed!"
Ginny shook her head and waved her hands quickly.
"No, it's not!"
"Mom is back, I came up to see if you were awake."
Xiao Deng looked surprised and wanted to get up.
"Mrs. Weasley is back, and I'm still sleeping here; that's too rude."
But Ginny held down Xiao Deng, who was trying to get up.
"Mom just asked me to see if you were awake."
"The brothers haven't returned yet."
"If you go down and watch her cook, it will only make her uncomfortable."
"Let's just chat together."
Xiao Deng didn't insist on going downstairs after hearing that, and then he pursed his lips.
"Did you feed me something just now?"
"It felt sweet, and it seemed quite delicious."
"Is it candy?"
Ginny's face turned bright red in an instant.
But she didn't answer Xiao Deng's question, instead asking back:
"Do you really think it was delicious?"
Xiao Deng's fingertips brushed over his lips, as if savoring the aftertaste.
"I'm sure, it was quite delicious."
"Very sweet and fragrant!"
Ginny's lips curled upward, and she asked:
"Then, Brother Xiao Deng, do you want to eat more?"
Xiao Deng looked at Ginny in surprise.
Good grief, there's a reason Weasley Family is so prosperous.
It's not just Mrs. Weasley's powerful fertility as a guarantee.
This sense of initiative made Xiao Deng a bit unaccustomed.
He felt like a piece of prey.
But why does that idiot Ron act like he's constipated?
Must be a mutation!
"If there's more, then please give me another one, thank you."
The smile on Ginny's lips became more pronounced, and she leaned forward slightly.
"Okay!"
"Then I'll give you another one."
As she spoke, Ginny's little face moved closer and closer, and seeing the surprise in Xiao Deng's eyes only made her feel happier.
Finally, Ginny touched Xiao Deng's lips again.
Chapter 77: Investing in the Weasley Brothers
Three seconds later, Ginny pulled away slightly.
"Brother, was it good?"
Xiao Deng looked into Ginny's eyes, a hint of a smile flashing across his face.
"It was too short; I couldn't really taste it."
Ginny's face was burning hot at this moment, but she still looked at Xiao Deng stubbornly.
Xiao Deng reached out and pinched Ginny's little cheek.
"I want to eat more."
As if encouraged, Ginny wrapped her arms around Xiao Deng's neck.
The two connected again, separating only after a long while.
Ginny gasped for air, and as fresh air filled her lungs, she finally calmed down a bit.
At this moment, Xiao Deng's ears twitched slightly.
"Your brothers are back."
Ginny straightened up immediately, looking slightly flustered.
"Brother Xiao Deng, come downstairs with me quickly."
"Also, keep this a secret."
Seeing Xiao Deng nod, Ginny relaxed quite a bit.
She took a deep breath to calm herself down.
"Let's go, we should head downstairs."
The two opened the door and walked out of the room.
They happened to run into Ron on the stairs, who was heading up.
"Xiao Deng, you're finally done!"
"Come on, my mother has already finished cooking."
Xiao Deng glanced at Ginny without leaving a trace.
Your mother?
Your little sister has really made a contribution; she almost became our mother.
Xiao Deng revealed a gentle smile.
"Alright, we're coming down now."
As soon as the three reached the bottom floor, they saw Mrs. Molly carrying dishes out one after another.
This made Xiao Deng breathe a sigh of relief.
Fortunately, there was some real food, not just desserts, salads, and rye bread.
Mrs. Molly said while bringing them out.
"Ron's father loves researching Muggle items."
"I've also learned a few Muggle dishes along the way."
"Many of them are foreign dishes, and they have quite a unique flavor."
Ron sat on a stool naturally, which made Ginny roll her eyes.
She then led Xiao Deng to a seat, and only after Xiao Dengsat down did Ginny sit beside him.
Mrs. Molly watched her daughter's behavior calmly, the corners of her mouth curling up.
My daughter has grown up!
Looking at Ron made Mrs. Molly's eyelids twitch; he was so inconsiderate!
"Is your father not coming back for dinner?"
Mrs. Molly finished tidying up and sat down as well.
"Him? He has work to handle; I'm afraid he won't be back for a while."
"We can just eat."
Ron reached out to grab a chicken leg, only to be glared at by Mrs. Molly.
"Ginny, since you're sitting close, remember to take care of Xiao Deng."
"I will, Mom," Ginny answered sweetly.
It must be said that the atmosphere in Weasley Family was very harmonious.
Even though he was a guest, he didn't feel like an outsider.
"Next year, Ginny will also be attending Hogwarts; you two can spend more time together."
Xiao Deng looked at Ginny beside him in surprise.
Ginny nodded at him with a smile.
"Yes, my magic has already had its first surge."
Chatting about daily life made Xiao Deng feel very relaxed.
It felt like he hadn't had this feeling for a long time.
"You kids go play; I'll clean up."
At this moment, the Weasley Brothers enthusiastically invited Xiao Deng into their room, saying they wanted to show him something.
Ginny was a bit worried, afraid her brothers would play a prank, so she followed them.
Seeing that everyone else was going, Ron had no choice but to go too.
Upon entering the brothers' room, the already narrow space felt even more cramped.
The two brothers introduced their little creations and inventions one by one.
It must be said that many of the things were made quite roughly, but the concepts were very interesting.
Given the financial situation of Weasley Family, many things were either made from recycled waste or required saving money for a long time to buy materials.
Maybe he could ask Professor McGonagall later if she knew anyone in Diagon Alley.
Buy a shop specifically to sell these little gadgets.
The Wizarding World was in desperate need of toys.
Xiao Deng's eyes flashed; if he could make this big and strong, he could gain some influence in the Wizarding World.
"Fred, George!"
"I am very interested in these things you've made."
"But they are still a bit crude."
"A more experienced Wizard could basically figure out the internal structure just by taking apart what you've made."
"So, they still need some improvement."
Fred answered with a bitter face:
"We know everything you're saying."
"But our finances don't allow it; some things can only be made as low-end versions."
Xiao Deng's lips curled up slightly.
"Let me ask you first: do you want to open a shop?"
Fred and George's eyes lit up instantly.
"Xiao Deng, you're right."
"Our dream is to open a shop of our own."
"And sell the things we've invented."
"But as you said, because money is tight, what we make isn't particularly perfect."
Xiao Deng looked at the brothers with a gentle smile.
"I can invest in you."
"Allowing you to perfect your inventions."
The brothers asked in unison: "Really?"
"As long as you are willing to invest in us, you can order Ronnie around however you like."
Ron yelled: "Don't call me by that name!"
"And why should I be ordered around by him for you two?"
But obviously, the two older brothers completely ignored him.
"Xiao Deng, if you are willing to invest in us, Ginny can also be used as collateral for you."
Xiao Deng's mouth twitched. Haven't you had enough beatings from your father?
Truly worthy of being twins; when they get excited, they dare to say anything.
Ginny blushed and retorted:
"Brothers, what are you saying!"
After saying this, she snuck a peek at Xiao Deng's reaction.
Xiao Deng pretended not to see Ginny's gaze and instead looked at the twins seriously.
"However, I must state in advance that I require equity."
Fred and George breathed a sigh of relief.
"That's only natural."
"You're investing money; how could we let you pay for nothing?"
"An 80/20 split is fine; you take 80, and us brothers take 20."
Xiao Deng shook his head slightly, which made the brothers feel awkward. Does he want it all?
"Let's do 70/30."
"The things were invented by your brains; I can't take too much advantage of you."
"Once we have the shop, I'll likely have you manage it."
"In that case, 20% is too little."
"I'll give you 30%, and if I need you to manage the shop later, I will pay you an additional salary."
"Of course, if you aren't satisfied, 40/60 is also possible."
"But if it's 40/60, I won't be able to pay you a salary."
"That would be equivalent to you working for yourselves."
George immediately stopped Xiao Deng.
"No, no, no, 30% is already taking advantage of you; 40% is just too much."
"To us, you are our benefactor."
"If we let you pay and take less money, and Dad finds out, he'll definitely beat us to death."
Seeing that the two were so firm, Xiao Deng could only nod slightly to agree.
"Then let's sign a magic agreement."
Then, Xiao Deng waved his right hand, and a piece of parchment appeared in the air, with a quill writing on it continuously.
In a short while, three copies of the magic agreement were formed.
The two didn't even look at them and directly signed their names.
Chapter 78: Xiao Deng's Gift
"Aren't you going to take a look?"
"Haha, no need to look, we trust you."
Xiao Deng waved his hand, and the agreement was stored away into his spatial ring.
At the same time, a cloth bag also appeared.
"I came in a rush today. There are five hundred Galleons in here; it's my usual pocket money. You take it and use it first."
"I'll go to Gringotts to withdraw some more later."
The four of them were all shaken by this move of Xiao Deng's.
"Five hundred Galleons, as pocket money?"
"Is this something a human would say?"
Putting Ginny aside, for the other three, their biggest expense after going to Hogwarts was probably the day they bought their new student supplies.
It would probably be the same for Ginny when she goes to Hogwarts.
Even if the four of them added together to buy new student supplies, they wouldn't use up five hundred Galleons.
And this was just Xiao Deng's pocket money.
"So wealthy, he's simply not human!"
There was a little something more in the look Ginny gave Xiao Deng.
You have to know that Xiao Deng was a Muggle before. Being able to bring out so much, he truly has ability.
It's just that one wonders how much hardship Xiao Dengsuffered in the past to reach this point.
Ginny hadn't been admiring him for long before her eyes filled with a bit of heartache.
After the shock, the brothers were overjoyed; this fund could alleviate their current major problem.
Immediately, the two brothers sat down with Xiao Deng to discuss some creative ideas and the direction and strategy for future business development.
They didn't know until they talked; talking gave them quite a shock.
Xiao Deng's understanding of running a shop far exceeded the two of them.
It left Ron stunned.
Throughout the whole time, Ginny looked at the eloquent Xiao Deng with starry eyes.
The things they talked about with Xiao Deng also broadened the brothers' horizons once again.
Their creative thinking was no longer confined just to pranks.
Just as the few of them were chatting happily, the room door was knocked.
Ginny immediately stood up and opened the door.
Standing outside the door was none other than Mrs. Weasley.
"Mum, is there something the matter?"
Mrs. Weasley stroked Ginny's hair.
"Of course!"
"I have something to find Xiao Deng for."
She then handed the box in her hand to Xiao Deng.
Xiao Deng looked at Ron, and saw Ron looking at him with a smile, signaling for him to accept it.
Xiao Deng hesitated for a moment, took the box from Mrs. Weasley's hand, and asked:
"What... is this?"
Ginny walked over and urged:
"Open it and take a look quickly."
Only then did Xiao Deng open this box, which didn't look very exquisite.
Inside, a black sweater lay quietly.
On it was a large 'H'.
It was easy to see that this gift was made with extreme care; it was the first letter of his name.
Xiao Deng pursed his lips and fell somewhat silent as he looked at the sweater.
He couldn't remember the last time he had received a gift.
The sudden sweater caused a ripple in Xiao Deng's heart.
Seeing Xiao Deng not speaking, Mrs. Weasley thought he didn't like it and said hurriedly:
"Don't you like it?"
"If you don't like it, I can prepare another gift."
Xiao Deng slowly stood up and bowed deeply.
"Thank you."
"I like it very much!"
"It's just that I haven't received a gift in many years."
"I was a bit dazed for a moment."
"I like it, I like it very much!"
These words made Mrs. Weasley feel a pang of heartache; what a pitiable child!
She couldn't help but step forward and hug Xiao Deng.
"Don't be afraid, child, from now on, we are all your family."
"From now on, you are no longer alone."
"Just treat this as your own home."
Subsequently, Mrs. Weasley glanced inconspicuously at Ginny, whose eyes were slightly red.
Still too young, only knowing how to cry; watch as I get you some benefits.
She then slightly released Xiao Deng, whose eyes were also a bit red.
"Try it on quickly, does it fit?"
"I heard from Ron that you are handsome and have an excellent build; even the Malfoy boy is impressed."
"I also made it based on her description of you."
Looking at Mrs. Weasley's expectant gaze, Xiao Deng's expression paused slightly, but he still smiled and nodded in agreement.
He then took off the silk shirt he was wearing, revealing the well-built body underneath.
Everyone except Ron widened their eyes, their mouths forming an 'O'.
Mrs. Weasley nodded secretly; this child is really good.
Ginny covered her eyes, watching Xiao Deng, who was right in front of her, through the gaps between her fingers.
Slurp!
She had just touched him a moment ago; she didn't expect him to be so good-looking.
Xiao Deng didn't think that much and just put on the sweater.
Mrs. Weasley stepped forward to help Xiao Deng adjust it.
"Luckily, luckily!"
"It fits very well!"
"Such a handsome treasure, which girl will be lucky enough to have you in the future."
"I'm really happy for her."
Ginny glanced at Mrs. Weasley.
"Mum, what are you saying?"
Ron pouted and looked at Mrs. Weasley.
"Mum, can you change the color of the sweater for me next year?"
Fred said with an exaggerated expression:
"Oh, my dear Ronnie, I think red, purple, or something like that suits you very well."
"Exactly, exactly!" George also chimed in.
Ron said loudly:
"Don't call me Ronnie!"
The room was filled with laughter.
Taking this opportunity, Fred and George told Mrs. Weasley about Xiao Deng investing in them.
Mrs. Weasley was a bit angry at first.
Mrs. Weasley felt that the brothers were just wasting Xiao Deng's money.
It was just some little trinkets made in their spare time; they wanted to invest in that?
It's not easy for a Muggle orphan to earn money, and her own children were actually using this method to ask for money.
This was something Mrs. Weasley found extremely hard to accept.
She was almost about to go and beat the two brothers.
It was only under Xiao Deng's strong persuasion that she calmed down.
"Mrs. Weasley, I trust them; they will definitely be able to make good things."
Mrs. Weasley patted Xiao Deng's shoulder helplessly.
"I know exactly what they are like; sometimes their pranks have no sense of propriety."
"Sometimes they even hurt Ron."
"I cannot let them squander the money you earned through hard work."
"They don't manage the household; they have no idea how hard it is to earn money."
Xiao Deng held Mrs. Weasley's hand and said sincerely:
"Mrs. Weasley, I treat you all as my own, so I am investing in them."
"I also believe in them; they will definitely succeed."
"At the same time, while I am investing, I am also a businessman."
"Investment naturally carries risks; this is the realization every investor must have."
"You don't need to worry!"
"Moreover, we have already signed a magic contract."
"If it really doesn't make money, rest assured, I won't make things difficult for them."
Mrs. Weasley's eyes were slightly moist.
What a good child; wasting his money, and he is still smoothing things over for them.
"Since the contract is already made, and you are all determined to do this, then let it be for now."
She then looked at the Weasley Brothers.
"Since you have taken the investment, you must work hard."
"Xiao Deng being able to have what he has today shows that his vision is unique."
"Don't let him down!"
The brothers both raised their hands to promise they would definitely work hard, and only then did Mrs. Weasley let it go.
By the evening, Arthur had not returned, and it was unknown what exactly had gone wrong.
Mrs. Weasley thought for a moment and discussed with Xiao Deng.
"Xiao Deng, why don't you sleep in the same room as Ronfor now."
"It was indeed our lack of consideration; we forgot about this."
"Mrs. Weasley, it doesn't matter, I am fine with anything."
"It was much tougher than this during difficult times in the past."
"At least now I have a place to stay."
Mrs. Weasley stroked Xiao Deng's head with heartache.
"How much suffering this child has endured!"
Chapter 79 Leaving Weasley Family
The Christmas holiday was both long and short.
And the days spent at Weasley Family were extremely happy.
The Weasley parents made Xiao Deng experience a rare warmth.
After receiving investment from Xiao Deng, the Weasley Brothers became even more active in their experiments.
Ron, on the other hand, would sometimes slack off.
However, Xiao Deng understood; after all, it was a holiday!
Ginny, conversely, would often ask Xiao Deng about things related to magic.
So much so that she had already grown rapidly before even entering school.
The two of them got along harmoniously and spent their time together very happily.
Molly Weasley looked at Ron with a feeling of disappointment.
Look at Ginny, then look at him; day after day, all he had on his mind was eating.
But good days are always short-lived.
The holiday was coming to an end very soon.
Xiao Deng slowly walked to an open space alone and saw a giant object from afar.
It was the Giant Eagle!
It arrived at Weasley Family on the second day after Xiao Deng came.
Here, it didn't need to hide; it could fly and play everywhere without restraint.
But now, when Xiao Deng saw it, he felt it was being a bit too unrestrained.
The creature it was pinning to the ground and rubbing against looked a bit familiar.
Wasn't that the Owl of Weasley Family?
Was the Giant Eagle bullying the Owl just because they were familiar with each other?
If someone from Weasley Family saw this, it would be terrible; how embarrassing.
It felt wrong whether one apologized or not.
Xiao Deng himself felt embarrassed.
After taking just two steps, Xiao Deng noticed something.
Why did the Owl's cry sound so...
Hesitant? No, that's not it!
Delicate and weak? No, that's not it!
Miserable? No, that's not it!
But this feeling was inexplicably familiar.
Until...
The Giant Eagle flapped its wings and crouched down...
Damn it!
If you're doing this, how am I supposed to face the Weasleys?
Who would have thought that the Owl of Weasley Familywas a female!
What if their Owl ends up pregnant?
The Giant Eagle also saw Xiao Deng standing not far away, and its figure stiffened.
Awkwardly, it picked up the Owl, moved to another spot, and turned its back to Xiao Deng.
You actually know how to feel embarrassed?
Who did you learn these bad habits from?
It's simply unwatchable!
Xiao Deng flicked his sleeves and walked away; he also had something to discuss with Molly Weasley today.
Xiao Deng came before Molly Weasley.
"Molly Weasley, I have to leave."
Molly Weasley put down the spatula in surprise.
"Isn't there still a few days left in the holiday?"
"Did they upset you in some way?"
Xiao Deng smiled slightly and shook his head.
"No."
"It's just that I have things to take care of."
"Fred and George have some matters that need to be handled."
"And I have some of my own affairs to handle as well."
"So, I have to leave early."
Hearing this, Molly Weasley breathed a sigh of relief.
"You are a child destined for big things; I won't stop you."
"I hope good luck is always with you."
After lunch, Molly Weasley announced the news that Xiao Deng was leaving.
Everyone was filled with reluctance to see Xiao Deng go, especially Ginny.
After these few days of spending time together, Ginny had become completely infatuated with Xiao Deng.
Standing at the front door, everyone waved goodbye to Xiao Deng.
Xiao Deng waved his right hand gently, and his figure vanished.
Molly Weasley watched, feeling proud of him.
"This child uses the Disillusionment Charm so well!"
Ron asked, puzzled:
"Why did Xiao Deng use the Disillusionment Charm when leaving?"
Molly Weasley glared at her good-for-nothing son.
"Xiao Deng has a way to travel rapidly between cities; this is a very powerful magic."
"Can Muggles see this?"
"It's like I'm harming you by telling you to study hard; you can't even figure this out."
Ron was scolded again and followed Molly Weasley home, dejected.
Ginny was still gazing in the direction where Xiao Denghad just left.
Fred patted his sister's shoulder, wearing a rare, serious expression.
"Ginny, I know you like him, but you must be careful."
Ginny blushed and retorted:
"Brother, what nonsense are you spouting!"
Fred ignored Ginny's bashfulness and continued:
"He is very outstanding."
"So, he will be surrounded by many girls in the future."
"In my opinion, he is a playboy; he won't have just one girl by his side."
Ginny was somewhat angry: "You are not allowed to say that about him!"
George also put his arm around Ginny's shoulder.
"Fred is right, but you misunderstood."
"Xiao Deng is a capable person."
"We have seen his glory with our own eyes."
"So, all kinds of people will appear by his side."
"You probably don't know how many girls in the school want to be with him."
"When he won at Quidditch, the scene was unimaginable."
"All the girls in the audience were shouting that they wanted to bear his children."
"It even made the Professors feel a bit embarrassed."
"So, he will have many romantic encounters."
"There are two meanings to Fred's words."
"Either you can suppress all the outside girls, making them dare not have such thoughts."
"Or you have a generous heart and understand Xiao Deng's situation."
"But there's no way to be on guard against thieves for a thousand days."
"Most importantly, you can't guard against Xiao Deng."
"He himself is not someone who follows the rules."
"If you set rules for him, then you two will end things very soon."
"If you don't set rules, then he will be surrounded by women."
"This is a vicious cycle."
"If you can accept it, then you have to maintain good relationships with the girls around him."
"If you can't accept it, then you should give up on this idea."
After finishing, the two of them entered the house, met with Molly Weasley's reproachful gaze.
"Why did you talk to her about this for no reason?"
"Your words were a bit too heavy!"
"Is Xiao Deng not good?"
Fred gave a bitter smile.
"Mom, do you think I'm scaring her?"
"Everything I said is the truth."
"The degree of Xiao Deng's popularity is far beyond your imagination."
"Could it be that Dad didn't have a few partners when he was young?"
Molly Weasley glared.
"Are you two making fun of me now?"
"Your father and I have been through hardships; our true love is there."
George chimed in:
"Mom, what you're saying is useless; it doesn't solve the problem."
"At the very least, I know there is always a girl following Xiao Deng."
"They hang out together, oh, right, Ron also hangs out with them."
"And many senior girls from Hufflepuff are fawning over him."
Molly Weasley looked worried upon hearing this.
"Then what should we do?"
"What if he becomes a heartbreaker?"
"I feel like he's not that kind of person."
Fred sat on a stool and replied to Molly Weasley:
"Mom, after spending these days with him, can't you trust Xiao Deng's character?"
"He probably won't be a heartbreaker, but there are just many girls around him."
The meaning was very clear; Ginny might not be the only one in Xiao Deng's life.
Molly Weasley looked at Ginny outside with some concern.
She didn't want her daughter to suffer, nor did she want her to be sad.
After a long silence, she finally sighed.
"Let them be; I respect Ginny's own choice."
"If she's happy, I wish her well; if she's wronged, we are her safe harbor."
After saying this, she went back to her housework.
Chapter 80: Heading to Diagon Alley
After leaving Weasley Family, Xiao Deng arrived at the Leaky Cauldron.
He wanted to go to Diagon Alley to ask about shops.
As the last brick was tapped, the wall began to move.
Diagon Alley felt no different today than it did when he first arrived.
Without stopping anywhere else, Xiao Deng headed straight for Gringotts.
In all of Diagon Alley, what place understood business better than Gringotts?
Xiao Deng slowly entered Gringotts.
As soon as he walked in, the eyes of all the Goblins couldn't help but drift toward Xiao Deng.
He was certainly very recognizable.
They couldn't remember how many years it had been since someone exchanged gold for Galleons.
But they remembered that he was the youngest one in recent times.
Xiao Deng found the Goblin who had handled his business last time again.
When the Goblin saw it was Xiao Deng, he immediately came up with a smile.
"Respected Wizard, what business can I help you with today?"
"We can go to a private meeting room to discuss it in detail."
Xiao Deng nodded slightly.
"Lead the way."
As Xiao Deng was led away, the other Goblins looked disappointed.
They were all frustrated that this client hadn't chosen them.
Xiao Deng went into the private room and sat down slowly.
"Do you have any business regarding shops in Diagon Alley?"
Griphook looked pleased and quickly asked:
"Are you looking to rent or buy?"
"If you buy, I can negotiate a discount for you."
Xiao Deng pondered for a moment and said slowly:
"Buy one."
"You can tell me all your requirements, and I will try my best to find it for you."
Griphook served Xiao Deng eagerly.
Xiao Deng sat on the stool and fell into deep thought.
For now, he definitely didn't need a very large one, but who knew what the future would hold.
In his own opinion, getting it right the first time was the most convenient option.
"Can this shop be expanded?"
Griphook lowered his head and thought for a moment.
"Expanding to the sides might be a bit difficult; the paperwork probably won't be approved."
"The shops on either side probably wouldn't be happy about it either."
"If you need a large shop, I can look for one for you."
Xiao Deng did not hesitate any longer.
"Just find me the largest shop."
"If it can't be expanded to the sides, can it be expanded upwards?"
Griphook opened the documents he had brought with him.
"The largest one, I do have."
"Diagon Alley looks prosperous, but business isn't actually that easy to do."
"A large shop will become a burden."
"Buying the largest shop is actually an easy thing to do."
Xiao Deng understood this logic.
Look at that shop that specializes in making wands; it has a long history, but the shop itself isn't very big.
But Xiao Deng had ambition; size wasn't his only consideration.
"Then buy the largest one."
Griphook readily agreed:
"I will check for you!"
"Expanding upwards requires going through some procedures."
"Gringotts can handle it for you; you only need to pay some handling fees and service charges."
"Thud!"
As soon as Griphook finished speaking, a decent-sized gold bar was tossed onto the table by Xiao Deng.
"Exchange all of this for Galleons to be used for buying the shop."
"Deposit the remainder into my account."
"By the way, withdraw 10,000 Galleons for me; I want to take it with me."
"And while I'm at it, when can the paperwork for this shop be completed?"
Griphook noted down Xiao Deng's requests one by one.
"Please wait a moment."
"As for the shop, we happen to have someone who has entrusted us with selling one."
"If you do it yourself, it might take a week."
"If you entrust it to us, the process can be completed in at most three days."
"And correspondingly, you only need to pay a small amount of handling and service fees."
Seeing that Xiao Deng didn't speak, Griphook immediately produced an agreement out of thin air.
"This is the entrustment agreement; please take a look. If you feel it is appropriate, please sign your magical name."
"In this way, Gringotts' service will take effect the moment you sign your name."
Xiao Deng scanned the agreement with his divine sense, felt there were no problems, and signed it.
Griphook happily took the things and jumped off the stool.
"Please wait a moment; we will handle the shop for you promptly."
"I will bring the rest of the business to you later."
After Griphook left, Xiao Deng slowly closed his eyes.
This business was faster than he had imagined.
As for the location, Xiao Deng didn't consider it at all.
If it could be sold as the largest shop, the location certainly wouldn't have been remote when it was built.
Besides, once the Weasley Brothers' things were made and their reputation grew.
Even a remote place would become the center of Diagon Alley.
Before long, Griphook returned with a few Goblins.
They were holding bags filled with Galleons.
Xiao Deng scanned with his divine sense; exactly 10,000, not more, not less.
Xiao Deng waved his right hand, and the 10,000 Galleons disappeared.
Griphook wasn't surprised; after all, magical storage items were not uncommon.
"Sir, I remember you are a young Wizard from Hogwarts."
"After the process is completed, Gringotts will send you a letter."
Xiao Deng nodded, said nothing, stood up slowly, and walked outside.
When he came out of the pub, it was still early, so he strolled around Diagon Alley.
He wandered to the door of Madam Malkin's shop, and his eyes lit up.
He had previously promised to buy clothes for Hermione; what a coincidence!
He then slowly walked into the shop.
Madam Malkin immediately recognized Xiao Deng.
"Mr. Hehuan, is it really you?"
"Long time no see!"
It wasn't that Madam Malkin had such a good memory, but rather that he was the only young Wizard in all these years to ask for the best material in her shop.
The impression was truly too deep.
"Yes, long time no see."
"Madam, I would like to have a set of clothes made."
Madam Malkin exclaimed:
"Did the clothes made previously break?"
"Let me see quickly!"
"That was the best material in my shop, paired with the best magic."
"That shouldn't be!"
Xiao Deng smiled and shook his head.
"You are overthinking it; that's not it."
"I am having them made for someone else."
Madam Malkin breathed a sigh of relief; if they had really broken, it would have been too damaging to her reputation.
Madam Malkin looked behind Xiao Deng.
"Where is your friend?"
Xiao Deng waved his hand.
"They didn't come!"
"But I know the relevant measurements; I can tell you directly."
A serious expression appeared on Madam Malkin's face.
"Mr. Hehuan, I must solemnly tell you one extremely important thing."
"If I measured incorrectly, I will redo it."
"But if the clothes don't fit because of your negligence in stating certain measurements, please forgive me, but I cannot offer a refund or alterations."
"Please think carefully."
Xiao Deng revealed a gentle smile.
"Relax, Madam Malkin, I won't make things difficult for you."
"Just do as I say."
"If there is an error, the responsibility is mine."
With Xiao Deng's words, she breathed a sigh of relief.
When doing business, one fears customers who don't understand things and make a fuss.
In the end, the one who suffers the loss is oneself.
Immediately, Xiao Deng reported Hermione's various measurements to Madam Malkin.
Xiao Deng thought they should be pretty accurate.
It had only been two weeks since they last met; she shouldn't have grown from a small cutie into a big one.
Chapter 81: School Starts
Madam Malkin was truly a professional. She worked very quickly.
Xiao Deng did not have to wait long before Madam Malkinwalked over with a brand-new Wizard robe.
"Sir, you are having this made for a girl, aren't you?"
"It uses the same material as yours—the best fabric in my shop."
"Take a look."
Xiao Deng didn't even need to look; nothing was faster than his divine sense.
"Madam Malkin, thank you."
"This is the payment for the clothes."
As he spoke, Xiao Deng took out some Galleons and handed them to Madam Malkin.
Madam Malkin's face beamed with a smile.
"If you need any more clothes, you can come find me anytime."
Xiao Deng said goodbye to Madam Malkin. After coming out, he had no intention of continuing to wander around.
He pushed through the noisy crowd and exited the pub.
With a flash, Xiao Deng returned to the front of his villa.
He saw a young woman sweeping the floor inside.
Xiao Deng's sudden appearance gave the woman a fright.
Her expression shifted from shock to anger.
"Sir, this is a private villa. Please leave immediately."
Xiao Deng glanced at the young girl.
This must be the granddaughter Avery had mentioned.
She was quite fierce!
"This villa is mine. Why should I leave?"
"And you—who are you, and why are you in my house?"
The girl was taken aback for a moment, then said righteously:
"I am the housekeeper here!"
"You don't look very old. Before you try to impersonate someone, you should check your facts—this is the residence of a noble."
"Impersonating a noble is a serious crime!"
"I will repeat myself: please leave immediately!"
Xiao Deng didn't bother arguing with her further; he could sense that Avery was already on his way.
"Martha, what is all the shouting about?"
As he opened the door, he froze in his tracks.
"Young Master, you've returned!"
The girl was also stunned; she hadn't expected to run into the master of the house.
Looking at Xiao Deng's face now, the more she looked, the more familiar he seemed.
Wasn't this the man from the oil painting in the bedroom? Although he looked much more mature now.
"Avery, this person claims to be my housekeeper and is currently asking me to leave."
Avery's expression shifted, instantly changing from shock to sternness.
"Martha, I have shown you the oil painting of the Young Master. How could you mistake him for someone else?"
Tears welled up in Martha's eyes; her grandfather had never scolded her like this before.
"Grandfather, I'm sorry. I just wasn't paying attention."
Avery kept a straight face. He had been guarding this prodigy for over a decade, and the Young Master held an irreplaceable place in his heart.
He remembered back when Xiao Deng was only two years old, yet he could run and jump, and his thinking was no different from an adult's.
He was generous with money, and the orphanage assumed he was the descendant of some noble, hence why he carried such wealth.
They didn't want any trouble, so they discussed with Xiao Deng the idea of buying a house and hiring a housekeeper.
Out of everyone, Xiao Deng had chosen him to be the housekeeper.
The Young Master's trust in him had lasted over a decade, and now his own granddaughter was demanding he leave.
This was completely outrageous!
"You shouldn't be apologizing to me."
Martha immediately turned to Xiao Deng and bowed ninety degrees.
"Young Master, I'm sorry."
Xiao Deng ignored Martha's apology and looked at Avery.
"Her overall quality is far inferior to yours; she needs to be evaluated further."
A look of shame flashed in Avery's eyes.
"It is my fault for not teaching her well. It is my problem."
"I will be stricter with her!"
Xiao Deng nodded, not dwelling on the matter.
"Prepare a meal."
"Tomorrow is the day to return to school."
Avery bowed slightly.
"I will go make arrangements right away."
Martha lowered her head and followed Avery out.
Xiao Deng returned to his bedroom and lay down on the bed.
Today was the last day.
The next morning, Xiao Deng woke up early.
He went to the living room, where breakfast was already laid out on the table.
This had been Avery's habit for over a decade.
After finishing his meal, Xiao Deng slowly left the villa.
After Xiao Deng left, Avery came over to clear the dishes.
"Martha, there's no point in saying too much, but you just need to know that the Young Master is not an ordinary person."
"Being by his side will do you no harm, just as it has been for me."
"I have a partial hand in raising him; as long as you do not betray him, he can ensure you live a worry-free life."
Martha didn't speak, just silently washed the dishes.
"It doesn't matter if you don't understand now; you will in the future."
"I am old, and sooner or later I will pass away."
"This position is extremely important for you."
Avery stopped speaking, hoping that Martha would take his words to heart.
Xiao Deng could choose anyone to be his housekeeper.
But Martha only had this one chance.
As long as he was around, the relationship remained; if he died, she would have to rely on herself.
He hoped she would understand!
Xiao Deng flashed to the platform and walked through the wall without hesitation.
The train was indeed waiting at the platform.
He found his previous compartment and walked in; fortunately, it was empty.
The moment he entered the train, Xiao Deng scanned the entire train.
Hermione hadn't arrived yet.
Xiao Deng sat by the window, looking like a young nobleman.
As time passed, the train became more and more crowded, and it grew noisy.
The door to Xiao Deng's compartment was not closed; he was waiting for a little fish to take the bait.
The train hadn't been full before the holidays, so naturally, it wouldn't be full on the way back to Hogwarts.
Most young Wizards would look for a new compartment if they saw someone already inside.
Even if someone wanted to come in, Xiao Deng had already prepared an excuse to politely decline, claiming the seats were taken.
As luck would have it, before anyone else came to ask, Hermione spotted Xiao Deng in the compartment.
Her eyes lit up, and she excitedly entered the compartment.
"Xiao Deng, long time no see."
Xiao Deng smiled slightly and nodded.
"Go ahead and put your luggage away."
Hermione looked back outside.
After hesitating for a moment, she closed the compartment door.
With the door closed, the chances of others wanting to come in were much smaller.
Although Neville wasn't in the compartment this time, Hermione sat down next to Xiao Deng very naturally.
"How was your holiday?"
Hearing Hermione's question, Xiao Deng thought of the warmth of Weasley Family.
"It felt very good!"
Upon hearing Xiao Deng's answer, Hermione's eyes curved into smiles.
Xiao Deng waved his right hand, and a large pile of snacks appeared on the table—the ones he had bought last time and hadn't finished.
Seeing the snacks, Hermione's eyes lit up, then she complained a little.
"Mom and Dad advised me to eat fewer snacks."
As soon as she finished speaking, Hermione frowned and swatted away the hand that tried to pet her head.
"Don't touch me randomly. If I don't grow taller, it's all your fault."
She then picked up the snacks on the table without any hesitation and started eating.
Xiao Deng revealed a gentle smile.
He recalled their first meeting, when she had been very hesitant to eat his food.
Even though she had wanted to eat, she had been very restrained.
Sometimes, he even had to feed her before she would reluctantly open her mouth.
Now, she had absolutely no psychological burden.
Halfway through eating, she remembered she hadn't put away her suitcase.
She clapped her hands, picked up her suitcase, and tried to place it on the overhead rack.
But clearly, just like that first time at the start of school, she had overestimated herself.
Not paying attention, her wrist hurt, and the suitcase slipped from her hand.
