Chapter 23: Hell Valley (Part 2)
On the other side, Harry's scar began to ache violently again because he was being watched by Lord Voldemort.
He was tied up with a rope by Lord Voldemort, crouching on the ground with one hand covering his forehead, his face as pale as paper.
Lord Voldemort stood before him, his red eyes fixed on him, and began to chant a spell in a low, hoarse voice, like a snake flicking its tongue.
Harry's pain intensified, and he curled into a ball, his scar feeling as if someone were stabbing into it with a red-hot iron wire.
The door leading to the surface world began to become unstable; first, the black flames at the edges flickered, and then the entire wall of fire shook, like a candle about to go out.
Finally, with a "pop," the black flames extinguished, and seeing this, a large number of hell creatures began to rush toward the door.
The crowd of hell creatures squeezed together—skeleton soldiers, imps, and a few minotaurs—pushing and shoving their way inside.
Hermione was checking Ron's injuries. Ron was still lying beside the chessboard; the blood at the corner of his mouth had dried, and his breathing was steady, but he simply would not wake up.
Hermione crouched beside him, gripping her wand, looking up at the direction of the entrance from time to time.
Then she felt it—the ground was shaking, coming from the direction of the next level, and it was getting more intense.
She stood up, glanced in that direction, and then froze.
Swarms of hell creatures were rushing out from that door. The skeletons' bones rattled, the imps were flying in the sky, and several minotaurs were pushing from behind.
Hermione's hands began to shake. 'What are these things! Where did they come from? What is happening to Su Yuinside?' She had too many questions.
But she still took two steps forward, stood in front of Ron, raised her wand, and cast "Protego." A transparent barrier expanded before her.
The group of monsters was getting closer and closer to her; she could even clearly see the two green fires in their eye sockets. Her legs were trembling, but she did not retreat.
Just as the monsters reached her, a patch of purple light suddenly lit up behind her. One after another, Flipendo spells flew over her head, striking the monsters and knocking them back several meters; the ones in front shattered, while the ones behind continued to squeeze forward.
Hermione turned her head to look back.
Cassandra stood at the very front of the line, holding her wand, the purple light just receding from the tip.
Behind her were all the Slytherins, standing neatly in the corridor, wearing black trench coats and green ties, with the badges on everyone's chests shining.
Cassandra glanced at Hermione, gave her a gentle smile, and then immediately turned her head to command those behind: "Don't stop! Keep pushing!"
Theodore Nott walked out of the line and approached Hermione. He first glanced down at the unconscious Ron, then turned to Hermione, bowed slightly, his voice gentle, carrying that composed elegance: "Miss Granger, may I ask, do you know where Chief Su Yu is?"
Hermione's lips were trembling, and her voice shook as she spoke: "Su Yu is inside! I don't know what happened, these creatures just suddenly appeared from the door... You must go report to the teachers, and then go save Su Yu... I beg you..."
As she spoke, she burst into tears, large drops falling, her knuckles white from gripping her wand so hard. "Please, go save Su Yu..."
Theodore looked at her and pulled a handkerchief from his pocket to hand to her. The handkerchief was green, with the Nott family crest embroidered on the corner.
Hermione took it and clutched it in her hand without wiping her face. Theodore straightened up, traced two circles in the air with his wand, placed one hand on his chest and the other behind his back, and bowed slightly to Hermione, his posture as solemn as an orthodox knight.
"Slytherin is willing to be your support, Miss HermioneJane Granger."
Behind him, all the Slytherins bowed.
Farley stood in the middle of the line, straightened up, her voice crisp and bright: "Activate badges!"
Everyone tapped the badges on their chests twice. Golden Chakra surged out from the badges, spreading over everyone's bodies like water, glowing faintly beneath their trench coats. Kurama Cloak.
Cassandra stood at the very front, her green eyes sweeping over the hell creatures still pouring out, her voice cold and sharp: "All fifth, sixth, and seventh years, listen up! Use Flipendo in alternating turns five times!"
The older students in the front row raised their wands simultaneously, and waves of purple light pushed forward, striking the monsters; those behind were pushed back before they could even rush up, and the things inside the door couldn't get out for a while.
"Avada Lightning Chain!"
Green light exploded in the corridor. Not just one beam, but one after another, jumping from the tip of the first person's wand to the target hit by the second, and then jumping from that target to the next, like lightning darting through clouds.
Wherever the green light passed, monsters fell in droves; imps fell from the sky, and minotaurs were knocked back before they could even step out of the door. The entire corridor was illuminated in a greenish hue, and the air was filled with the smell of burning.
Hermione stood to the side, her mouth agape, her hand covering her mouth, her eyes wide. She couldn't believe what she was seeing. 'These people are Slytherins? Is that how the Unforgivable Curses are used? Slytherins? Are you sure they aren't Death Eaters?'
Malfoy walked out of the line and stood next to Hermione, his chin still raised, but his tone was much softer than usual: "Miss Granger, the things that will surprise you are still to come."
He glanced in the direction of the door. "We are about to go in. Are you coming with us? Or will you stay here and continue keeping company with this blockhead?" He gently tapped the sole of Ron's shoe with his toe, but Ron didn't react.
Just then, Dumbledore and several Professors rushed over.
Dumbledore stood at the other end of the corridor, glanced at the Slytherin formation, and then at the door still spewing out hell creatures, without speaking to stop them. He even raised an eyebrow slightly, as if he were watching something interesting.
Professor McGonagall was going mad. Her students, Slytherin students, how could they appear in such a dangerous place!!
And, this group of students using Unforgivable Curses to kill hell creatures were her students? Her face went pale and then red, her lips trembling, and she almost roared: "All Slytherin students! Return to your dormitories immediately! Immediately! Right now! It is too dangerous here!"
No one moved.
Professor Snape stood next to Professor McGonagall, his black eyes sweeping over the group of Slytherin students, pausing on the golden light of the Kurama Cloak, then on the calm expression of Cassandra as she commanded, and finally landing on Farley.
His face still wore that expressionless look, but if you looked closely, you could see the surprise in his eyes.
Farley walked out of the line and bowed to Professor McGonagall. Her movements were unhurried, her posture upright, yet she appeared so natural.
"Professor McGonagall," Farley began: "Our Chief is still inside, and we cannot leave him behind. Slytherin never abandons its own Chief to face the entire legion of hell alone."
She paused, "This is the pride of every Slytherin. I am sorry, Professor McGonagall, please forgive me for not being able to follow your command."
After she finished speaking, she bowed again. Behind her, all the Slytherins lowered their heads simultaneously, their movements as uniform as if they had rehearsed countless times.
Then they turned and walked, one by one, into the door leading to the inner world.
Professor McGonagall stood rooted to the spot, her mouth agape, unable to close it for a long time. She had taught for so many years and had never seen such Slytherins. What about putting interests first? What about self-preservation? Those little snakes who would even calculate the costs when the Dark Lord arrived were now rushing into hell for one person?
An absurd thought flashed through her mind—does Lord Voldemort know you all are doing this?
Snape had already followed. He said nothing, just flicked his robes and walked with long strides behind the team, his wand already gripped in his hand.
Hermione also wanted to follow, but was stopped by Dumbledore. The old man's hand rested gently on her shoulder, not with much force.
"What you should be doing now is protecting your fellow student," Dumbledore's voice was as unhurried as ever, "You wouldn't be able to do anything even if you went in. Getting your fellow student to safety is the right thing to do."
Hermione bit her lip, crouched down to lift Ron up, and draped his arm over her shoulder.
Dumbledore and Professor McGonagall also entered the door.
The world inside the door was completely different from what they had imagined.
Gray skies, volcanoes in the distance still smoking, and burnt earth and broken bones everywhere. Then they saw Su Yu—standing on top of the Thousand-Armed Buddha, fighting the purple monster with punches landing flesh-to-flesh.
It was just that the art style was a bit broken.
AI Model: gemini-3.5-flash
Two of the Great Buddha's hands choked Belial's neck, while several other hands slapped Belial's face in a chaotic flurry.
Some of the middle hands choked while others punched, relentlessly targeting his stomach and soft flesh. The lower hands were even more underhanded, specifically aiming for Belial's groin, strike after strike, leaving Belial with no way to dodge.
Unable to take the beating any longer, Belial roared, "Enough!" and slapped the Great Buddha away with a single strike. He was in an extremely pathetic state right now: one of his large purple horns had been snapped off, his trench coat was torn to shreds, his body was covered in red welts, he was missing two teeth, and he was currently clutching his crotch—it really did hurt quite a bit.
Su Yu wasn't doing well either. Having depleted a massive amount of Chakra, Kurama had to split off clones to absorb the energy of the earth and feed it back to him. The Great Buddha was covered in cracks, with many of its arms already broken and dangling uselessly. Just as he was about to control the Great Buddha to stand back up, he suddenly saw Dumbledore, several Professors, and the nearly one hundred people from Slytherin.
He froze for a moment.
Well, you old codger, you've finally arrived.
Without a word, Su Yu deactivated all his forms. The golden Chakra and red armor faded away layer by layer. He leapt down from the head of the Great Buddha, landed back among the Slytherin ranks, sat down on the ground, and began to recover his Chakra and magic.
He would leave this mess to Dumbledore. He had been fighting for so long, and neither he nor Belial could gain the upper hand; continuing would just be a battle of physical endurance.
Dumbledore's flying skills were far more impressive than they appeared. The old man simply hovered in the air, trading blows back and forth with Belial. He had even summoned a Fire Giant of similar height to the Great Buddha, engulfed in flames from head to toe, which repeatedly punched Belial. Dumbledore himself flew alongside the Fire Giant, waving his wand rapidly, controlling the flames and the Fire Giant to continuously inflict damage on Belial.
That old codger, he had fooled everyone.
The Slytherins didn't waste any words either. Cassandrabegan directing everyone again, and arcs of Avada Chain Lightning rained down on the hell creatures one after another, filling the battlefield with flashes of green light. Professor McGonagall's blood pressure nearly skyrocketed the moment she stepped in and saw this, but she still drew her wand and joined the children in clearing out the fodder.
Sitting on the ground, Su Yu said to Farley, "Take a few upperclassmen to rescue Harry. Over there, Lord Voldemort is over there. If you can't beat him, just hold him off first. I'll head over once I've recovered a bit."
Farley nodded, selected a few upperclassmen, and headed in Harry's direction.
Lord Voldemort was standing in front of Harry, forcing him to look into a mirror. Harry was bound by ropes, his forehead drenched in sweat, his expression painful and dazed as if possessed by something. When Farley and the others arrived, they saw Lord Voldemort reaching out to grab the stone in Harry's hand.
Several Avada Kedavra curses were cast simultaneously. A shield rose around Lord Voldemort, and as the green light struck it, he shrieked and was sent flying, rolling several times before coming to a halt. Harry, terrified out of his wits, collapsed to the ground, still clutching the stone in his hand.
Farley yanked Harry back and pushed him behind her. The others continuously fired Avada Kedavra curses at Lord Voldemort. Green light flashed repeatedly, causing Lord Voldemort's shield to shake violently, yet it refused to shatter. Reducto, Confringo—they tried everything, but nothing worked. Lord Voldemort retaliated a few times, but his spells were blocked by their Kurama Cloaks; although uninjured, they were knocked back several paces by the impact.
Farley's temper flared. Apparating directly in front of Lord Voldemort, she delivered a powerful kick to his shield. The rebound force sent her backward, but she stabilized herself by crouching with one hand on the ground and one leg extended far out. Then, with another Apparition, she stepped right onto Lord Voldemort's shield, looking down at him from above.
"You're nothing but a remnant soul!" Holding her wand in a reverse grip with both hands, she forcefully drove the tip into the shield. A crack appeared on the barrier, and she grit her teeth, pushing it deeper. "If I can't break it from the outside, I'll pierce it and strike from within! Avada Kedavra!"
Green light erupted from the tip of the wand, completely filling the inside of the shield. The barrier exploded from within, and Farley was blasted backward by the force, hurtling through the air—
Su Yu leapt up and caught her, cradling her securely in his arms.
"Why push yourself so hard?" Su Yu looked down at her, a hint of reproach in his voice. "It's not like I wasn't coming."
Farley said nothing, wrapping her arms around his neck and kissing him passionately.
Over by Harry, his forehead finally stopped hurting. The door leading to the surface world also began to stabilize.
The Slytherin students were still clearing the battlefield; the remaining small fry were no longer a threat.
The only ones still fighting on the battlefield were Dumbledore and Belial.
The old man was reaching his limit. The Fire Giant had shrunk in size, Dumbledore's flying speed had slowed, and his wand movements were no longer as fluid as before. Su Yu could tell that he was pushing through sheer willpower to buy him time.
Su Yu set Farley down and rushed back into the fray. "Old man!" he shouted as he fought. "How do we kill him?!"
Dumbledore's voice drifted down from the sky, still in that unhurried tone: "The Lords of Hell are entities of rules. The only way to kill them is through conviction—be it love, hate, joy, disappointment, unity, or malice. Only emotions can kill them."
What a classic riddler. Hearing this, Su Yu wanted nothing more than to turn around and lead his team away. Conviction? Emotions? What kind of timing was this to start lecturing?!
Just then, Cassandra stepped forward and shouted, "Su Yu! Do you have an attack that can absorb power?"
Su Yu glanced back at her, gave it some thought, and realized he actually did.
He asked Dumbledore to hold on a bit longer while he retreated to the rear to begin transforming. Entering his Strongest Perfect Susanoo form, layers of red armor stacked up. Kurama's clones vanished instantly, channeling all their power into a lightning arrow in Su Yu's hand. The arrow flickered in his palm, its red light growing brighter and brighter until the entire valley was bathed in a crimson glow.
Cassandra turned around and shouted to all the Slytherins, "Channel your emotion-infused attacks into it! No matter what it is—joy, hatred, gratitude, sorrow, anger, fear—pour it all in!"
The young Slytherin Wizards raised their wands, casting all kinds of spells into the arrow in Su Yu's hand. Some thought of letters sent from home, some of their trembling hands the first time they cast Avada Kedavra, some of the night Su Yu stood before them and said "You are Slytherins," some of their hatred for Lord Voldemort, and some of their own loneliness. One after another, the spells merged into the arrow.
Harry also raised his wand and cast a spell into the arrow. Professor McGonagall hesitated for a moment before also casting a spell into it. Standing in the corner, Snaperemained silent for a long time, but finally raised his wand and flicked it toward the arrow. Su Yu could have sworn that the spell Snape cast was filled with profound love.
The arrow in Su Yu's hand was now blindingly bright. Next, he activated an ability of the Mangekyo Sharingan that he had never used before—Causality Alteration.
He wasn't very proficient with this ability either. It was too difficult, and the stronger the target, the greater the limitations; sometimes it simply wouldn't work at all. It was a logical paradox, much like how God could never create a stone so heavy that He couldn't lift it.
Suddenly, Belial tripped over a volcano beneath his feet.
Just like that, for a split second, the massive Belial tripped over a volcano, his body swaying as his center of gravity shifted.
Su Yu moved. Instead of firing the arrow, he Apparated his entire body along with his Susanoo, teleporting directly behind Belial. Clutching the arrow in his hand, he thrust it upward—
"Indra's Arrow—Thousand Tribulations of the Rear-End!"
A modified version of One Thousand Years of Death.
Belial exploded instantly. Starting from where he had been stabbed, a beam of red light surged outward through his body—from his waist to his chest, from his chest to the top of his head—before his entire body popped like a balloon. Red specks of light scattered across the sky like a fireworks display.
The battlefield fell silent.
Everyone from Slytherin watched in sheer disbelief. Dumbledore floated in midair, his wand raised, forgetting to lower it. Professor McGonagall's mouth hung open, forgetting to close it. Snape's expression finally shifted, showing a complex mix of "in all my years of living, this is the first time I don't know what to say."
Since when could this skill be used like this?
Belial's furious roars seemed to still echo in their ears, faint and distant, cursing with extreme profanity...
Chapter 24: End of the School Year (Could everyone please rate this? Thank you all.)
Three days had passed since that battle.
Harry had been so stimulated that day that after the Lord of Laziness, Belial, exploded, he had fainted right away. When he was carried back to the Hospital Wing, he kept talking in his sleep, shouting "Stone" one moment and "Quirrell" the next. Madam Pomfrey had to force-feed him several doses of Calming Draught before he finally quieted down.
When Harry finally woke up in the Hospital Wing, he blinked and saw Dumbledore sitting by his bed, holding a Lemon Sherbet. He suddenly remembered and sat up abruptly: "Headmaster! That stone! It was Quirrell! He stole the stone! Headmaster, hurry—"
"Don't be so anxious, my dear, you've already missed the later part of the plot," Dumbledore said, stuffing the Lemon Sherbet into Harry's hand. "Quirrell didn't get the stone."
"Then who did? Headmaster—I—"
"Harry, relax, or Madam Pomfrey will kick me out!"
Harry swallowed his words and began to look around, realizing he must be in a ward. He was lying on a bed with white sheets, and next to it was a table stacked high enough with sweets to open a candy shop. Chocolate Frogs, Bertie Bott's Every Flavour Beans, Pumpkin Pasties, Fizzing Whizzbees—everything was there, piled up like a small mountain.
"They were sent by your friends and admirers," Dumbledore said kindly. "Although what exactly happened between you and Professor Quirrell in the world inside is a secret, the whole school knows about it now. I believe your friends Fred and George originally sent you a self-washing wheelchair because they thought you would be interested. But Madam Pomfrey thought it was unhygienic and confiscated it."
Dumbledore paused here, a subtle expression appearing on his face.
"In the end, Su Yu got it from Madam Pomfrey and modified it. Now, Su Yu likes to have Daphne push him around whenever he has nothing to do—what a nasty child. Just because he thinks it's convenient, he can lie down and sleep wherever he goes."
Actually, what Dumbledore didn't say was that after the fight that day, Su Yu had brought all the Slytherin young Wizards to block his office. No one could get through; Su Yu was sitting on his desk, Kurama squatting beside him, tail flicking, with nearly a hundred Slytherins in black trench coats standing behind him.
In the end, Su Yu took the Philosopher's Stone before letting Dumbledore off.
Because Farley told Su Yu that "Philosopher's Stone" was Dumbledore and Harry's name for it, while Lord Voldemort had been screaming about his "Judgment Stone." You see, Judgment is God's authority; in the wizarding world, the three authorities of God are said to be: Creation, Judgment, and Apocalypse. Su Yu felt there was a big problem here, which is why he forced the issue.
However, after two days of research, he didn't figure it out, so he threw it to Kurama to play with. Kurama liked the stone—it could turn metal into gold.
She now used a gold bowl to eat, a gold basin to wash her face, and wore a gold necklace around her neck. She clinked and clanked when she walked, and her tail was held three inches higher than usual.
The Slytherin students also liked Kurama. Because one day they saw Daphne give Kurama a cookie, and Kurama gave her back a pure gold cup. Pure!
So the Slytherin young Wizards now gave Kurama lots of food whenever they saw her—cookies, cakes, little sausages, anything. Kurama wasn't shy either; she took everything, and after eating, she would give them a piece of gold in return. From small gold coins to large gold plates, it all depended on her mood.
Until this morning, when Kurama got a spanking from Su Yu.
Because today, when Su Yu was waking up while holding Cassandra, he discovered that all the metal in the bedroom had turned into gold. The bed legs were gold, the door handles were gold, and even the wand stand he had placed on the table had turned into gold. It was shiny and golden—but the steel frame of the window facing the Black Lake had also turned into gold. Once the steel frame turned into gold, it lost its toughness, and the whole window creaked, with cracks spreading from the edge of the window frame. The water pressure of the Black Lakecould have crushed the glass at any moment. Su Yu had almost died there.
So Kurama got a spanking. Su Yu held her down on his lap and spanked her bottom. Kurama cursed while covering her bottom, and she didn't dare to turn things into gold at will anymore.
The next day, Su Yu woke up in Daphne's arms. He was reluctant and burrowed into Daphne's arms again; Daphne's embrace was soft and warm. Daphne didn't push him away, just let him burrow like that, one hand on the back of his head, fingers gently stroking his hair. Until he was done messing around, Daphne accompanied him to wash up.
After washing up, Su Yu sat in his exclusive wheelchair, pushed by Daphne.
Just as they left the bedroom, they saw Malfoy standing in the corridor. Malfoy had been in a good mood these past few days, and even the corners of his mouth were curled up when he talked to people. Seeing Su Yu come out, he bowed slightly.
Malfoy was truly having a blast. Not only did he shine on the day of the great battle, killing a dozen minotaurs—he had told everyone about it after returning, and every time he told it, he would gesture, describing how that minotaur charged over, how he dodged, how he counterattacked. Pansy had heard it until her ears were calloused.
And in the Quidditch match these past few days, Slytherinfinally beat Gryffindor. Although Harry was missing during the match, a win was a win. Malfoy and the others cheered all night and even flipped over the sofas in the common room.
Today was the day of the end-of-year feast. All the scores would be released today, and the Slytherins went to the Great Hall early to celebrate winning the annual House Cup. They had decorated the Great Hall in their team's green and silver, and the team flag with the large python was stuck at their seats. Green ribbons hung from the ceiling, silver stars hung on the walls, and the whole Great Hall looked like a giant Slytherin common room.
Harry was the last to arrive. As soon as he walked in, the Great Hall boiled like boiling water, and everyone started talking loudly. He quietly slipped to the Gryffindor seat, sat between Ron and Hermione, and tried his best not to notice the faces of the people who stood up to look at him. Some people pointed at him, some whispered, and a few younger Gryffindor students looked at him with worshipful eyes, making him feel uncomfortable.
Fortunately, after a while, Headmaster Dumbledorearrived. The noise disappeared immediately.
"Another year has passed!" Headmaster Dumbledore said spiritedly, "But I must interrupt before you stuff yourselves with this wonderful food, with an old man's nagging. What a pleasant year! I hope you will find that your brains are a bit richer than before... You still have a whole summer vacation to make them beautiful and empty!"
He cleared his throat and unfolded a long scroll of parchment.
"Now, as far as I know, the specific scores for all houses this year are: Gryffindor 312 points, fourth place; Hufflepuff 352 points, third place; Ravenclaw 426 points, second place; Slytherin 472 points, first place."
A burst of cheers and jumping erupted from the Slytherinstudents' seats. Malfoy clinked his goblet, Pansy screamed and clapped on the side, and Crabbe and Goyle finally reacted and clapped along, although a beat late. Harry saw Malfoy tapping his goblet at a glance—a truly heartbreaking scene.
"All right, all right, you have done very well, Slytherin," Dumbledore said.
"But recent events should also be taken into account."
The Great Hall quieted down instantly. The smiles of the Slytherin young Wizards weren't as bright anymore.
"Ah, ha," Dumbledore continued, "Now I have a latest scoreboard to introduce. Let me see. Right... The first one is for... is for Mr. Ron Weasley!"
Ron's face turned purple instantly, looking like a sun-dried carrot.
"...because he is the best chess player to appear at Hogwarts in many years! I award 50 points to Gryffindor's Ron!"
The Gryffindor cheers almost shattered the roof, and even the stars above seemed to become lively.
"Second, it is about Miss Hermione Granger... She used calm logic in front of the raging fire remarkably. I award Gryffindor another 50 points!"
Hermione covered her face with her hands, making Harrysuspect she was crying again. The Gryffindor students nearby were jumping up and down on their chairs—of course, because they had 100 more points!
"Third—is for Mr. Harry Potter..." Dumbledore said.
The Great Hall became quiet all of a sudden.
"...because of his great spirit and fearless courage, I award Gryffindor another 60 points."
The Great Hall boiled again. Those who could do mental math already knew that Gryffindor now had 472 points—the same as Slytherin. If Headmaster Dumbledoreawarded Harry one more point, they would take away the House Cup!
Su Yu stood up from his wheelchair.
He felt that if he listened to Dumbledore continue this shady business, he would explode. They were the ones who said not to enter the Chamber of Secrets; others followed the rules, but those who didn't follow the rules got points for entering—Dumbledore might as well just host a challenge competition!
The Slytherin young Wizards also reacted and followed Su Yu in taking out their wands. Nearly a hundred wands were raised in unison, silver-green robes fluttering in the candlelight, with the posture of casting Avada Kedavra at Dumbledore if things went wrong.
Snape was sweating. He could no longer control this group of Slytherins.
Dumbledore coughed twice, his voice much louder than usual: "That is to say! This year's House Cup! Slytherin and Gryffindor are tied for first place!"
Although Slytherin was still very unwilling, there was nothing they could do. Who let him be the headmaster? Besides, they had forced the issue after the fight that day and taken the Philosopher's Stone.
Why not let Chief Su Yu be the headmaster? The Slytherins were all calculating in their heads.
Returning to the common room at night, Su Yu kept all the Slytherin young Wizards behind.
The fire in the fireplace burned brightly, and nearly a hundred people were crowded into the common room, some sitting on sofas, some leaning against the wall, some squatting on the stairs. Kurama squatted at Su Yu's feet, her tail curling and uncurling, still chewing something in her mouth.
Su Yu stood in front of the fireplace, the firelight shining on his face.
"I am going to establish an organization," he said, "for students graduating in the seventh year."
The common room went quiet.
"The name will be the Shadow Compass Society. In the future, members of the society, even after graduation, can still use the special Shadow Compass Society badge to gain Kurama's and my power."
Several seventh-year students' eyes lit up. They thought they wouldn't be able to use Su Yu's power after graduation. Cedric stood behind the crowd, his lips moving, wanting to say something, but nothing came out.
"The headquarters will be at the Foley Manor," Su Yucontinued, "Usually you do whatever you need to do. However, we have only one goal—we want to become an existence more powerful than the Ministry of Magic! We want to break those old antiques! We can let us be ourselves!"
The common room was quiet for a second. Then, I don't know who started it, one, two, three—all the Slytherins raised their fists and shouted.
"Long live Chief Su Yu!"
"Long live the Shadow Compass Society!"
"Long live Slytherin!"
The sound was so loud that the water in the Black Lakeoutside was shaking, and several fish swam past the glass, their tails standing up in fear.
As for Slytherin's scores this year, to compensate them, Dumbledore gave everyone 'Outstanding' in all subjects. Malfoy was stunned when he got his report card, flipped it over and looked at it three times to confirm he hadn't misread it, then curled the corners of his mouth higher than anyone else. Crabbe and Goyle also got 'Outstanding'; the two of them held their report cards with expressions on their faces as if they had understood something for the first time.
The next day, they began to pack their things; they were about to go on vacation soon.
The school had another announcement prohibiting students from using witchcraft during the vacation.
Hagrid was ready to take them to the train. He stood at the Castle gate, wearing a newly washed mole-skin coat, with a peacock feather stuck in his beard, probably a gift from some student. He patted the shoulders of every passing student hard, making several lower-grade students stumble.
They took the "Hogwarts Express" back to London. The fields and villages outside the window flew backward, and the sunlight leaked through the clouds, casting golden light spots on the grass.
At 9:45, the train drove into King's Cross Station. It took a lot of time for everyone to get off the train; the carriage doors were crowded with people, suitcases, owl cages, toad boxes—everything. A very old Wizard stood at the ticket gate, letting them pass in twos or threes to avoid scaring the Muggles by rushing out like a tide all at once.
Su Yu was followed by four girls. Hermione hugged Su Yu, crying and saying she would definitely come to see Su Yuduring the summer vacation. Su Yu was the same as before, putting his hand on the back of Hermione's head, fingers inserting into her fluffy curly hair, gently stroking it.
"I will wait for you, my Miss Granger." Su Yu lowered his head and kissed Hermione on the forehead.
Hermione's face turned red instantly, and she even forgot to cry. She let go of Su Yu, took a step back, her eyes red, her nose red, her lips moving, wanting to say something, but in the end, she just nodded and walked out of the exit.
Su Yu turned his head to look at the remaining three girls.
"What about you? What are your plans for the summer?"
Farley had always been so indifferent, hands in her pockets, shrugging her shoulders: "I'm going home for two days, then I'll move into your place."
Cassandra stood on the side, holding a small suitcase. "I'm going to follow my parents to visit others, it might take half a month." She paused, "But it will be very fast, I hope Butler Carson will welcome me then."
Su Yu touched her face. Cassandra didn't dodge, her green eyes looking at him.
"Butler Carson is a very good person," Su Yu said, "At most, he just doesn't like to talk. He will definitely like you very much."
Daphne had the least choice. She stood in front of Su Yu, head down, fingers twisting the hem of her robe. She was sure she couldn't get out during these two months at home; her mother had already arranged various courses and social activities, filled to the brim, not a single empty day. She looked up at Su Yu, her eyes a bit red.
Su Yu hugged her.
"It's okay," Su Yu said, "You can't come, but I can go find you. Don't worry, I will go."
Daphne nodded in his arms without looking up.
The three of them then reluctantly walked out of the exit and returned to the Muggle world. Daphne walked at the very end, looking back every three steps, until Su Yu waved at her again, and she turned around and hurried to catch up with Farley and Cassandra.
Su Yu was still the same, lazily pushing the cart, walking out of the exit. Kurama lay on the luggage on the cart, her tail hanging off the side of the cart, swaying.
"Hi! Butler Carson, I will eat properly this time."
"Welcome home, Young Master."
Chapter 25: Going Home
At the exit, Butler Carson stood there.
He was still in his usual style—his black tailcoat was ironed without a single wrinkle, his silver-gray hair was combed meticulously, and the expression on his face was always that perfectly appropriate respect.
He stood there with his back straight, like an old tree planted in King's Cross Station.
A few Muggles passing by glanced at him twice, probably thinking that someone dressed like this to pick people up was either a butler or an actor.
Su Yu pushed the trolley up to him.
The trolley was piled high, the luggage stacked taller than a person, with Kurama lying on the very top, her tail hanging off the side, swaying back and forth.
Carson took the trolley, glanced at the luggage on it, and then looked at Kurama lying on the luggage.
Kurama blinked at him, and her tail curled slightly as a greeting.
Carson didn't say much, just smiled back at Kurama.
The young master had his own secrets, and he never asked.
Otherwise, he wouldn't have worked at Fawley Manor for sixty-three years.
At this moment, Ginny ran over.
She was running a bit hurriedly, her boots clicking on the stone floor, her red hair streaming behind her.
She had specifically made her family wait a while, just to wait for Su Yu.
Mr. Weasley's car was parked outside the station with the engine still running; Ron had urged her several times from inside the car, but she pretended not to hear.
Running up close, she was slightly out of breath, her cheeks flushed, whether from running too fast or some other reason, it was hard to tell.
Her eyes looked at Su Yu brightly and shyly, as if she wanted to look at him but didn't quite dare.
"Hi, Su Yu," her voice was much quieter than usual, her fingers subconsciously tugging at the corner of her clothes, tugging, releasing, then tugging again, "I... I wanted to ask, was the Christmas fudge good?"
Su Yu looked at this cute girl and gave a gentle smile.
"Slow down, that fudge was delicious. Kurama is looking forward to when you'll make it for her again. How about you, how have you been lately?"
Kurama poked her head out from the luggage and nodded in agreement; Ginny saw this and smiled even wider.
Ginny relaxed quite a bit.
"Then I'll make more for you! I'm doing well, too; I've read a lot of interesting magic books."
As she spoke, she grew bolder, and her gaze met Su Yu's daringly, "Actually... actually I've been looking forward to school starting so I could see you again."
Once she said this, she blushed first.
At this moment, from a distance, Ron's voice came, shouting Ginny's name at the top of his lungs: "Ginny! Let's go! Dad says if we don't leave now, it'll be too late!"
Ginny's face turned even redder, and she nervously twisted her hands, saying in a low voice: "I have to go back; let's talk next time. I'll remember to make you some fudge!"
After speaking, she hurried to turn and jogged towards her family, took a few steps, looked back, then quickened her pace and disappeared in the direction of the exit.
Su Yu watched her retreating back.
Then he followed Carson and left the station.
Su Yu sat in the car, looking at the bustling metropolis outside the window, feeling like a savage suddenly transported into modern society.
Having stayed at Hogwarts for a year, all he saw were stone Castles, the Forbidden Forest, or the Black Lake, at most with a few owls added in.
Now, suddenly seeing streets full of cars, skyscrapers, traffic lights, and billboards, he couldn't take it all in.
Kurama was also sticking her head out, peeking.
She poked half her head out from the side of the car window, her nose pressed against the glass, fogging it up.
She asked about this and that.
"What is that?"
"A candy shop."
"Is it delicious?"
"I haven't tasted it either."
"And what is that?"
"A cake shop."
"Why is it so small?"
"Maybe London's housing prices are quite high."
Su Yu petted Kurama, answering every one of her questions.
From the candy shop to the bakery, from the bakery to the pigeons, from the pigeons to what the hot dog vendor on the side of the road was holding in his hand—that was ketchup.
Kurama frowned when she heard the word "tomato" and stopped asking.
Suddenly, Su Yu said to Carson: "Carson, let's find a Chinese restaurant to have a meal before going back."
Carson looked through the rearview mirror, said nothing, turned on the signal, and turned the car around.
London's Chinatown.
The Lido Restaurant at 41 Gerrard Street had a pair of red lanterns hanging at the entrance, faded "Fu" characters stuck on the glass windows, and the smell of food could be smelled from far away.
Carson parked the car, and Su Yu carried Kurama inside. There were already quite a few people sitting inside, all Chinese, with the sounds of talking, bowls and chopsticks, and Cantonese news from the television mixed together, making it very lively.
The waiter led them to the second floor and found a table by the window.
Su Yu sat down and took the menu to flip through.
Then he ordered a table full of roast duck, roast goose, char siu, shrimp dumplings, chicken feet, and steamed ribs.
Eating deliciously.
Su Yu picked up a piece of roast goose dipped in plum sauce, stuffed it into his mouth, and squinted his eyes.
He picked up a piece of char siu, chewed it twice, and went to pick up a shrimp dumpling.
His chopsticks never stopped.
Kurama was also eating egg tarts and coconut cake in small bites.
The flaky crust of the egg tart fell all over the table; she used her paws to scoop it into her mouth, licked her lips after finishing one, and went to eat another.
The coconut cake was cold, cut into small squares and placed on a banana leaf; she used her paw to push it to her mouth, took a bite, shook her head, and took another bite.
Carson sat beside them, with only a cup of tea in front of him.
He didn't eat, just watched Su Yu and Kurama eat, occasionally refilling Su Yu's water, and occasionally using a tissue to wipe away the crumbs Kurama had brushed onto the table.
The two had a big meal.
Su Yu leaned back in his chair, rubbed his stomach, and burped.
Kurama was also lying on the table, her belly round, her tail swaying gently behind her.
When paying the bill, the owner gave them two extra bowls of red bean soup; Kurama tasted a mouthful, lowered her head, and licked the red bean soup clean, the bottom of the bowl shinier than if it had been washed.
After eating, Carson brought the two back to Fawley Manor.
The car passed through the iron gate of the manor and drove along the path lined with sycamore trees.
The leaves of the sycamore trees hadn't been growing for more than a few months and were tender green.
The lawn was neatly trimmed, and the fountain was still spraying water.
Su Yu finally lay down on his long-missed big bed.
The bed was still the same bed, covered with his favorite duck-down duvet, and the height of the pillow was just right.
He sank into the mattress, like sinking into a cloud, and every joint in his body stretched out.
Kurama was also bouncing on the bed.
She also liked this softness, bouncing up and springing up.
Su Yu reached out to grab her, she dodged, and bounced to the other side.
Su Yu tried to grab again, she dodged again.
Finally, Su Yu stopped grabbing; she was tired from bouncing, lay down, panting, her tail sweeping across the sheets.
The two slowly fell asleep like this.
The sky outside the window turned from light purple to deep blue, and the stars lit up one by one.
They didn't get up until Carson called them for dinner in the evening.
Su Yu rubbed his eyes and came down from upstairs, with Kurama following at his feet, still yawning.
Carson stood by the dining table, holding a soup bowl, waiting for him to sit down.
The other young Slytherin Wizards went home, which also gave their families a surprise.
Especially Malfoy's father, Lucius Malfoy.
He looked at Malfoy in disbelief—this child hadn't been seen for a semester, his eyes had changed, and even the tone of his voice when talking to him had changed.
Lucius felt it was necessary to test him.
So he suggested a duel with young Malfoy; of course, he thought it was just playing with young Malfoy, stopping at the point, just going through the motions.
But who could have known.
Young Malfoy suddenly patted the badge on his chest.
Golden light surged out of the badge, spreading over his whole body like flowing water, faintly shining under his clothes, and even his face was covered with a faint halo.
Lucius was stunned for a moment—what was that? He had never seen this kind of magic.
Then young Malfoy raised his wand, without incanting, without waving his wand, Expelliarmus, and then followed up with a Stupefy.
Lucius didn't have time to react to anything.
His wand flew out of his hand, spun twice in the air, and bounced on the ground.
Then everything went black, his body fell backward, and he only heard Narcissa's scream in his ears before he knew nothing else.
Just like that, Malfoy lost his dinner.
Draco's mouth was still curled up as he went upstairs.
What was missing a dinner?
Winning against his own father was the only way to prove he was powerful!
He was so excited he could barely sleep, tossing and turning in bed.
Similarly, this situation kept happening in the homes of the young Slytherin Wizards.
Some won against their brothers, some won against their sisters, and some won against their uncles.
Goyle went home and had a fight with the family dog and won.
Goyle got five stitches on his head because he forgot to open the badge on his chest.
But his dad patted him on the shoulder and said "Good lad," then took him out for a drink.
Goyle passed out after half a glass, and his dad carried him home.
Pansy went home and sparred with her mother.
Her mother was a former professional Quidditch player with great physical fitness, but Pansy's speed was much faster than her mother's.
Before her mother could react, Pansy's Expelliarmus had knocked her wand away.
Her mother was stunned for a long time, then hugged Pansy and cried.
Pansy didn't know why her mother was crying, but she cried too.
Su Yu held a cup of black tea and sat by the window.
Kurama was lying on his lap, already asleep.
Her belly rose and fell, and her ears twitched occasionally, probably dreaming.
Her tail hung down from Su Yu's knees, the tip swaying gently.
Carson stood by, holding a teapot, ready to refill the water at any time.
Su Yu introduced his experiences over the past year to Carson and told Carson that Farley would be coming in two days, so he should just bring her in directly.
Carson's hand holding the teapot paused slightly.
The pause was very short, less than a second, but for this old man who did everything with the precision of a clock, it was already an obvious reaction.
On his face that hadn't changed for many years, a blush finally appeared.
The young master has really grown up, knowing how to bring home a sweetheart.
God bless.
Chapter 26: Dating
Su Yu woke up quite early today, but he was dressed very casually.
He put on a sweatshirt he rarely wore, which had a logo on the chest that he didn't even recognize the brand of.
He stood in front of the mirror, took a look, felt it was fine, and went downstairs.
Because today was the day he was going on a date with Farley, and they were going to the Disneyland located in France, which I heard only started operating in April of this year.
Kurama, not wanting to get up too early, had returned into Su Yu's body to continue sleeping at this moment.
Su Yu could even feel her turn over in the soul space before falling back asleep.
Farley had arrived at Fawley Manor two days ago.
Carson welcomed Farley warmly, as if greeting the future mistress of the house.
He stood at the manor gate for over half an hour, and as soon as Farley's car arrived, he personally stepped forward to open the car door, bowing much deeper than usual, and his voice was half an octave higher than normal.
He even specially arranged for a bouquet of white roses to be placed in Farley's room, put a small box of handmade chocolates on the nightstand, prepared a full set of toiletries in the bathroom, and even the bathrobe was freshly unpacked.
This grand treatment made the usually proud Farley feel a bit shy.
She walked into the house with a blushing face.
However, Farley was dressed very beautifully today.
She wore a black slip dress, the hem of which reached just above her knees, revealing a section of fair calves.
She wore a pair of black high-heeled shoes with thin heels, making a rhythmic "click-clack" sound as she walked.
Her hair was loose, with large waves draping over her shoulders, one side tucked behind her ear, revealing a silver earring.
Her lips were painted with a bean-paste colored lipstick, neither too thick nor too light, making her skin look glowing white.
Su Yu stared with wide eyes.
Farley noticed his gaze, the corners of her mouth curled up slightly, and without saying anything, she walked over and took his arm.
After they finished breakfast, they came to the fireplace in the Great Hall.
Su Yu took a pinch of sparkling powder from a flowerpot nearby, walked to the fireplace, and sprinkled the powder onto the flames.
With a loud noise, the flames turned an emerald jade color and burned higher and higher, gradually rising taller than Su Yu.
The green flames churned in the fireplace.
At this moment, Su Yu went in first and shouted: "Marne-la-Vallée!" and then disappeared.
Farley followed behind, doing the same as Su Yu.
When she stepped into the flames, she looked back at Carson, who bowed slightly, his face showing a kind of gentle look that said, "Have a good time."
Farley blushed again, quickly shouted the destination, and disappeared into the green flames.
When Su Yu opened his eyes again, he had already arrived at a magical street in Marne-la-Vallée, near Paris, France.
The street was bustling with people and quite lively.
This street was wider than Diagon Alley, and the shops on both sides had French signs. Su Yu only recognized "Boulangerie" and "Pâtisserie," and couldn't really understand the others.
The air was filled with the aroma of fresh bread and coffee, mixed with the scent of lavender drifting from a shop.
The sports car arranged by Carson was already waiting for them at the end of the street.
It was a silver convertible sports car, the body polished to a shine, reflecting light in the sun.
The driver was a French man in his forties, wearing a dark blue suit and sunglasses. Seeing Su Yu and Farley come out of the magical street, he took off his sunglasses and nodded at them.
Farley held Su Yu's arm as they walked out of the magical street.
Her high heels clicked on the ground, looking chic and neat.
When Su Yu came out of the magical street, he had already transformed into an adult.
Chakra's Transformation Jutsu is really much better than magic; Polyjuice Potion has to be drunk every hour. Haven't you seen how Barty Crouch Jr. drank Polyjuice Potion like water?
Su Yu felt that Snape was almost driven to tears during that time.
He now looked like he was twenty-three or twenty-four, his shoulders were a bit broader, and his jawline was more defined.
Farley glanced at him, the corners of her mouth curled up, she didn't speak, but her hand holding his arm tightened a little.
After the driver confirmed the identities of Su Yu and Farley, he handed the car keys to Su Yu and left.
Then Su Yu elegantly opened the sports car door, and Farley sat in, holding his arm, her movements very natural.
The two of them drove leisurely on the road to Disneyland.
Su Yu opened the roof, and the wind blew in, making Farley's hair flutter backward. She reached out to smooth it but couldn't, so she simply gave up, squinting her eyes as she leaned against the seat back, the corners of her mouth curled up.
However, Kurama, who had just woken up and come out, was rubbing her eyes when she was blown out by the wind in the blink of an eye.
Before Su Yu could react, he heard a scream—not Farley's, but Kurama's.
She flipped twice in the air, her four little legs kicking wildly, her nine tails almost blown into helicopter blades, the whole fox looking like a fur ball thrown out, flying further and further away.
Farley let out a scream and immediately picked up her wand, casting an Accio to pull Kurama back.
Kurama flew back like a cannonball, crashing into Farley's arms, knocking her backward, and Su Yu hurriedly reached out to support her.
Kurama opened her mouth and bit at Su Yu.
Su Yu immediately apologized; he really hadn't noticed that Kurama had come out.
He put his hands together, bowed his head, and said, "I was wrong, I was wrong, I was wrong. I really didn't mean it. I didn't expect you to come out so suddenly; that's why I opened the car roof—"
Kurama's teeth bit into the back of his hand, not hard, but she gnawed a few times before letting go.
Her fur was bristling, her eyes wide round, her tails puffed up into a ball, and the whole person—the whole fox looked like she had been struck by lightning.
However, because of that moment, the car was driving crookedly.
A passing driver started cursing wildly—in French. Su Yucouldn't understand it, but judging by the tone and expression, it probably wasn't anything nice.
The driver held the steering wheel with one hand, gestured with the other, his face flushed red, words popping out of his mouth rapidly.
Su Yu didn't understand a word, but he felt it had quite a rhythm.
The car then settled down and became stable.
Farley held Kurama and kept smoothing her fur, from the top of her head to the tip of her tails, over and over again.
Kurama's fur slowly stopped bristling, but her eyes were still wide, her mouth pursed, not saying a word.
Su Yu kept apologizing to her.
Kurama turned her face away and ignored him.
Until they entered Disneyland, Kurama didn't pay any attention to Su Yu.
She hid in Farley's arms, burying her face in the crook of her arm, with only her two ears showing.
It wasn't until Su Yu bought her an ice cream that she wiggled her butt and returned to Su Yu's arms.
It was strawberry flavored, with a waffle stuck on top, and the cream squeezed into the shape of petals.
Kurama used her little paws to hold Su Yu's hand, licking the ice cream in small bites, her amber eyes squinting into slits.
Her tails swayed behind her, her fur was smooth again, and her anger had dissipated.
Su Yu fed Kurama, held Farley, and rode the park train, which meandered slowly through the park, indescribably comfortable.
Then they went to play Pirates of the Caribbean.
Sitting in the small boat, with Caribbean-style scenery on both sides, fake pirates singing, fake skeletons fighting, when the water splashed up, Farley dodged toward Su Yu, and Su Yu hugged her.
Kurama squatted at the bow of the boat, soaked all over.
They didn't make it to Robinson's Treehouse—there were too many people in line.
Farley looked at the long line and said, "Forget it," and Su Yu said, "Okay."
The two turned and went to the Big Thunder Mountain mine train roller coaster.
While riding the roller coaster, because there was no exclusive seat for Kurama, she lay in the very front.
Su Yu wanted to hold her, but she refused, jumping onto the railing at the front of the car herself, squatting on four legs, her tails hanging down, looking like she was saying, "I'm not afraid."
Then, after it started, that fox face was blown wildly by the wind.
Her ears flipped back, her lips were blown open, revealing two rows of sharp teeth, and her eyes were wide like copper bells.
Kurama was so scared that her paws slipped, her whole body shrank back, and she dove into Su Yu's arms, burying her face in his hoodie, refusing to come out no matter what.
Farley also grabbed Su Yu's hand tightly, her nails almost digging into the back of his hand.
Su Yu endured the pain, hugging Farley with his left hand and protecting Kurama with his right, letting the roller coaster rush back and forth on the tracks.
When they got off, Farley's hair was messy, and Kurama's fur was bristling, only Su Yu stood by, unscathed.
Tired from playing, they went to the shops on Main Street, U.S.A. and bought a lot of things.
Farley took a fancy to a silk scarf, tried three colors, and finally bought the dark blue one.
She also bought a beige beret, put it on and looked in the mirror, then took it off and put it in the bag.
She also picked out a bracelet for Hermione, chose a small cross-body bag for Daphne, and bought a fountain pen for Cassandra.
Su Yu followed behind pushing the shopping basket, with Kurama squatting in the basket, eyeing a Mickey plush toy covetously.
Everything was put into Su Yu's storage ring.
The two-cubic-meter space was more than half full.
At noon, they had a barbecue at the Cowboy Cookout Barbecue.
The sauce on the grilled pork ribs was sweet and spicy, and the corn on the cob was brushed with a layer of butter, smelling so good that Kurama poked her head out of Su Yu's arms.
Farley cut a piece of steak and fed it to Su Yu's mouth with a fork; Su Yu opened his mouth and ate it, chewed twice, and said, "Delicious."
It wasn't until the sun was about to set that the three of them returned to the Pullman Paris Montparnasse Hotel.
Su Yu sat in front of the floor-to-ceiling window on the 31st floor, drinking red wine and overlooking the night view of Paris.
In the distance, the Eiffel Tower was lit up, and the Seine River turned into a black ribbon in the night, dotted with sparse points of light.
Traffic moved slowly on the streets, with taillights drawing lines of red.
The stars in the sky were not as many as at Hogwarts, but the city lights had a different kind of beauty.
He sighed, this is what you call life.
Kurama was eating the macarons in the room, as well as the Opera cake, her little mouth full of chocolate.
The Opera cake was stacked neatly layer by layer; she started gnawing from the top, and when she reached the bottom, her face was covered in chocolate.
Farley was taking a rose bath while casting flirtatious glances at Su Yu.
She lay on the edge of the bathtub, her hair damp and draped over her shoulders, water droplets sliding down her shoulders, shimmering in the light.
"Chief," Farley's voice carried a kind of casual temptation, "Don't you want to come in together?"
Su Yu could no longer hold back, his wolf nature unleashed.
He put the red wine glass on the coffee table; Kuramalifted her head from the cake to look at him, then lowered her head and continued eating.
————————
They played in Paris for a whole week.
They went to the Louvre, and also to the Eiffel Tower, taking the elevator to the top floor.
They also went to the Seine to take a cruise; Kurama lay on the boat railing, the wind blowing her fur back, and she squinted her eyes, looking quite satisfied.
They went to the Palace of Versailles, to the Sacré-Cœur Basilica, and to Montmartre.
Farley took pictures at every place, using a Muggle camera.
Until it was time to leave, Farley bought a lot of luxury goods for Hermione, Daphne, and Cassandra.
When they came out of the shops on the Champs-Élysées, Farley was carrying several bags, and Su Yu's ring was also full.
Farley chose very carefully, asking for Su Yu's opinion on every item.
Of course, she also prepared a few items for Ginny.
An Hermès silk scarf, light blue, with a pony pattern—Ginny would definitely like it—and some other things; Farley packed these separately in a bag and handed it to Su Yu.
Because she had also seen what happened at the station that day, she didn't say much, just told Su Yu to remember to give her a gift next time he saw her.
Su Yu smiled embarrassedly and held Farley's arm more tightly.
Farley leaned on his shoulder, not speaking, the corners of her mouth curled up.
A few days later, Cassandra also arrived.
Butler Carson was even happier.
He laid out a red carpet at the manor gate—Su Yu didn't know where he got it, but he laid it out anyway.
When Cassandra got out of the car, Carson bowed with the same degree of courtesy as when Farley arrived, but the smile on his face was more obvious.
He had people put white roses in Cassandra's room as well, changed the bedside chocolates to macarons, and changed the bathroom bathrobe to a silk one.
Carson stood in the hallway, watching Su Yu lead Cassandra upstairs, the flush on his face not fading for a long time.
This meant that the Fawley family would flourish from now on!!
He calculated in his heart that the young master was only in his first year and had already brought two back; by the seventh year... he didn't dare to think about it, but the smile on his face never stopped.
In the time that followed, the three of them began touring various countries in Europe.
Italy, Switzerland, Austria, Germany, the Netherlands—they stayed for two or three days in each place, seeing the local scenery, eating local food, and buying local souvenirs.
Farley and Cassandra's suitcases were soon full, so everything was stuffed into Su Yu's ring.
Su Yu sent many photos to Hermione and Daphne.
A group photo in front of the Colosseum in Rome, a selfie on the snowy mountains in Switzerland, and a candid shot on a gondola in Venice.
Hermione would reply with a long string of exclamation marks every time, then send a bunch of envious and jealous words, saying she swore that Su Yu would take her along to play in the future.
Daphne's replies were always nagging, writing a whole long paragraph each time.
"Pay attention to keeping warm, don't catch a cold."
"Pay attention to safety, don't go back too late."
"Pay attention to your diet, don't eat too many cold things."
Farley laughed when she saw it, and Cassandra also laughed, so Farley and Cassandra jokingly called Daphne Su Yu's stepmother.
But he kept every one of Daphne's letters and didn't throw them away.
