Chapter 2702 - Ch: 93-100

Chapter 93: Anomaly (Thanks to Nanshan's Little Demon for sending the "Power by Love", thank you.)

The May evening breeze swept through Hogsmeade Village, shedding the lingering chill of late spring. From the distance came the hooting of owls, likely from some shop that had just released a delivery owl.

Su Yu raised his hand to push open the tavern's wooden door, and Ginny walked out beside him. The girl's hair was gently lifted by the evening breeze, and a faint smile from having just finished her butterbeer still lingered on her face. The two stepped side by side onto the stone path leading back to Hogwarts.

"Regarding that Ranrok whom Ragnok mentioned, what are your plans for the next step?"

"To be honest, I'm not entirely sure," Su Yu said, scooping Kurama off his shoulder and placing her onto Ginny's. Ginny's shoulders were a bit narrower, and Kurama shifted uncomfortably twice before finally settling down. "Hogwarts is too vast; who knows where he might have dug to?"

Feeling a bit warm, Su Yu unwound his scarf from his neck and draped it over his arm. "Let's head back and discuss it with Cassandra first, and see what she has to say."

Ginny nodded, took Kurama from her shoulder, and cradled her in her arms. Kurama didn't struggle, instead resting her chin in the crook of Ginny's arm, her amber eyes half-closed.

"Oh, right," Ginny suddenly remembered. "Madam Rosmerta mentioned earlier that she's heard from Wizards in the village that Gringotts seems to have slowed down significantly in their operations. Many people are complaining about it, and no one knows what's going on."

"Could it be? Is Gringotts involved in this as well?" Su Yurubbed his chin in thought.

"I'm not sure, but it's quite possible. The Goblins at Gringotts have always been efficient; this kind of situation has never happened before."

Upon hearing this, Su Yu kept his pace steady, his gaze sweeping calmly over the path extending ahead. Ginnywasn't the type to be overly sentimental either. Hearing him say this, she smiled and changed the subject, talking about the recent interesting training events of the Gryffindor Quidditch team and mentioning the little jokes the teammates made during practice. Su Yu listened patiently, occasionally responding softly. Their pace was leisurely, and the two chatted and laughed all the way, walking slowly toward Hogwarts Castle along the path bathed in twilight.

The outline of the Castle became increasingly clear in the twilight. The towering turrets and scattered roofs exuded a unique solemnity in the darkening sky. Su Yu looked up at the Castle gate ahead; the guardian suits of armor stood silently, everything appearing exactly as it always had, as if that hidden Goblin conspiracy was merely an insignificant ripple that couldn't stir up any waves at all.

The two walked up the marble steps of the Castle and into the entrance hall. Warm yellow wall lamps illuminated the spacious area. Students came and went in groups of three or five, chatting and laughing as they returned to their respective house common rooms, the noisy atmosphere filling the entire entrance hall.

Su Yu and Ginny parted ways at the Great Hall. Ginnywalked toward the Gryffindor staircase, not forgetting to turn back and wave at him before she left, her eyes and brows full of lightness.

Su Yu returned to the Slytherin Common Room and told Cassandra and the others about the matter, asking them to be more vigilant during their recent training. If it really came to it, they would just have to investigate it bit by bit.

The next day, Su Yu also found Isolde. It had been only ten minutes since the Defense Against the Dark Arts Classended. There were still a few scattered students in the classroom packing up their books, and Professor Graveshad already left. Isolde Rosier was standing by the podium, organizing the magic scrolls used in class.

She looked just as she did on any other day: her dark hair hung neatly, she was dressed in a dark trench coat, her features were cold and beautiful, and her demeanor was steady. The surrounding noise seemed to have nothing to do with her, and she exuded an air of aloofness yet efficiency.

However, after hearing what Su Yu had to say, Isoldebrought some bad news. Because Su Yu and Ginny had been skipping classes to investigate over the past two days, they hadn't noticed that something was already wrong at Hogwarts Castle.

The first class to experience issues was the Charms Class.

Professor Flitwick stood on the podium, holding his wand, patiently demonstrating the essentials of the Levitation Charm to the lower-year students.

"A gentle flick of the wrist, clear pronunciation of the incantation, concentrate, and guide the magic toward the target..." As he finished speaking, the quill at his fingertips floated steadily in the air, light and stable.

But when it was the students' turn to practice, the Levitation Charm, which was as basic as it could get, went out of control one after another.

When some students finished the incantation, the quill didn't float up at all; instead, it slammed heavily onto the desk with a sharp "crack." Some students lost control of their magic, and the quill shot violently toward the ceiling, hitting it hard before scattering messily back down. Others, halfway through the incantation, had their magic running wild without any pattern, scaring their classmates into quickly dodging.

Professor Flitwick frowned, correcting them over and over, but no matter how they adjusted, the students' spells kept failing, and even students who usually excelled in Charms Class made repeated mistakes.

The classroom was in chaos, quills flying everywhere and magical fluctuations erratic. It took Professor Flitwickeverything he had to put an end to the disturbance.

Over the next few days, this situation didn't just occur in the Charms Class; the Transfiguration Class, History of Magic Class, and Herbology Class all experienced anomalies one after another.

In the Transfiguration Class, Professor McGonagallpersonally demonstrated turning a match into a silver needle, but when the students tried it, the matches either turned into tiny pieces of charcoal or dissolved into a wisp of acrid black smoke, making it impossible to complete a normal transformation. In the Herbology Class, the usually docile magic plants suddenly became extremely aggressive; vines twisted wildly, nearly wrapping around the students who were watering them, and even the carefully tended Mandrake let out wails that were sharper and more irritable than usual, throwing the entire Herbology Class classroom into chaos.

Apart from the loss of control over classroom spells, the space of the Castle itself began to experience inexplicable disturbances.

Staircases that were usually fixed began to change positions without warning. Some students, who had walked easily on a staircase in the morning, found that when they passed by at noon, it had turned to a completely unfamiliar direction, leading directly to unused rooms on the top floor of the Castle. Some students even accidentally stepped on shifted staircases and nearly fell into the empty mezzanine of the tower.

Many corridors that were originally unobstructed would, without any warning, be firmly sealed by an invisible magical barrier.

Whether students tried to break them with their wands or teachers cast spells together, they could only open the barriers for a few short minutes before they would instantly close again. The corridor on the fourth floor near the forbidden area and the passageway near the Room of Requirement on the eighth floor were sealed one after another, making students cautious about going out for fear of accidentally entering a sealed area.

The ghosts in the Castle also became restless. The ghosts that usually drifted leisurely no longer stayed in their familiar areas but instead traveled in groups, shuttling back and forth through the corridors, chattering away with voices full of anxiety and unease. Even Peeves, who loved playing pranks, reduced his usual antics, occasionally hiding on the corridor chandeliers, warily observing his surroundings, his behavior becoming increasingly strange.

There were also many other minor, daily anomalies that appeared one after another.

In the Great Hall, food placed on the long tables would disappear in small portions without anyone touching it; whether it was sweet cakes, steaming roast meat, or fresh fruit, they would vanish into thin air without a trace. Windows in student dormitories would open and close automatically in the dead of night, making creaking sounds, and even locking them with magic was of no use. The suits of armor in the Castle corridors would gently shift their feet in the dead of night when no one was around, making harsh sounds of metal friction, yet when the patrolling Professor checked, they couldn't find anything unusual.

The entire Hogwarts was shrouded in an invisible, eerie atmosphere. From their initial curiosity, the students slowly became uneasy, discussing these strange occurrences in private and speculating whether something had gone wrong in the Castle or if some unknown force was at work.

The Professors also noticed that something was wrong and frequently gathered to discuss it, but they were unable to find the root of the anomalies, so they could only do their best to maintain order on campus and soothe the students' emotions.

Chapter 94: Gringotts Strike

Meanwhile, rumors about Gringotts began to trickle into Hogwarts Castle through students visiting Hogsmeadeand traveling Wizards. These rumors echoed the anomalies within the school, making the already uneasy atmosphere even more oppressive.

Many students learned through letters from home that the operations of Gringotts Wizarding Bank had ground to a near standstill.

It was not until Friday morning that the headline of The Daily Prophet changed.

"Internal unrest has broken out at Gringotts Bank. Goblinemployees are on strike in protest, demanding that the Ministry of Magic re-examine the bill regarding the distribution of rights between Wizards and Goblins. Some shops in Diagon Alley have suspended operations. Minister for Magic Cornelius Fudge issued a statement yesterday saying that the Ministry of Magic has entered into emergency consultations with the Gringotts Goblinmanagement and is calling on all parties to remain calm."

Su Yu saw this news while eating breakfast in the Great Hall.

"A strike?" Hermione's voice came from the Gryffindortable, carrying an incredulous "How is that possible?" tone. "Goblins go on strike too?"

Harry flipped through the newspaper beside her and shook his head. "It doesn't say the specific reason."

The newspaper also reported that the Goblins who usually guarded the vault entrances and were constantly busy had been absent from work in large numbers for several days without reason. The Goblin clerks, who were usually efficient and diligent in their duties, were reduced to only a few individuals left in the bank to cope. Wizards coming to handle deposits and withdrawals often had to wait for several hours just to get simple transactions processed, and the slightest urging would draw cold, hostile glares from the Goblins.

More Goblins were no longer staying inside Gringotts, but were gathering in groups in the secluded areas behind the bank, at the edge of the dense forest where the Forbidden Forest connected to Gringotts, whispering in their obscure, sharp-toned Goblin language.

When they gathered together, they radiated a tense hostility. Whenever a Wizard approached, they would immediately stop talking and stare coldly at them, only resuming their secret discussions once the Wizard had left.

The Goblins, who had previously been distant but maintained a superficial peace, had now completely dropped all pretenses. Their hostility toward Wizards was undisguised. When looking at any approaching Wizard, their eyes were filled with hatred and wariness, as if they were ready to attack at any moment. The atmosphere around Gringotts became incredibly oppressive. The once-bustling area around the bank gradually became deserted, and Wizards were unwilling to go near it, afraid of inviting unnecessary trouble.

More and more rumors spread throughout the Castle. Everyone was saying that the Gringotts Goblins were likely about to cause trouble and that by gathering together, they were surely plotting something against Wizards. Combined with the incessant strange anomalies within Hogwarts, a sense of unease quietly spread throughout the Castle.

Yet, no matter how strange the atmosphere or how inexplicable the chaotic phenomena, nothing could stop one tangible, major event—the final exams were fast approaching.

In the blink of an eye, it was late May. The end of the school year was drawing near, and the O.W.L.s, N.E.W.T.s, and final exams for each subject were all scheduled.

No matter how panicked they felt or how much they discussed the strange occurrences, the students could only push their unease to the back of their minds. They attended classes as usual, studied, and spent time in the library as they always did.

In the corridors, one could still hear people whispering about the recent strange phenomena in the Castle, but turning into the library revealed a completely different scene.

The long tables were filled with students from every House, with thick magical tomes and parchment notes spread out. The scratching of quill tips on paper sounded softly as everyone buried their heads, chewing through knowledge points, memorizing spell theory, and organizing herb proportions and dates for History of Magic.

Gryffindor students complained about the shifting corridors and blocking barriers, yet they still obediently clutched their magical theory textbooks and memorized them by rote. Ravenclaw students, naturally studious, used the excuse of staying in the library to dive headfirst into their tomes, the chaos outside seemingly having no effect on them at all. Hufflepuff students were steady and dutiful, reviewing and preparing for exams step-by-step, occasionally whispering a few words about the strange events, but quickly settling down to bury themselves in practice problems and rote memorization.

During breaks, there were still groups of people chatting in the corridors, talking about which staircase had shifted positions again, which class's spells had collectively malfunctioned, and how the Gringotts Goblins were getting stranger and stranger.

But the conversation wouldn't last long before it almost always circled back to final exam questions, key points highlighted by Professors, which subjects were easy to fail, whose Herbology was shaky, and who needed a last-minute cram session for Charms Class.

In June at Hogwarts, the final exams had officially begun.

The atmosphere in the Slytherin Common Room was quiet. The flames in the fireplace flickered slowly, and warm light bathed the entire room.

Su Yu leaned lazily on the sofa by the window, carelessly flipping through a magical tome, his expression calm; he hadn't put the final exams on his mind at all.

Before long, a rush of hurried footsteps came from the entrance of the Common Room.

Hermione walked in quickly, alone. Her expression was filled with anxiety and indignation. She walked straight through the Slytherin students in the Common Room, spotted Su Yu sitting peacefully by the window at a glance, and headed straight toward him.

She had just accompanied Harry to finish reading that letter from Hagrid delivered by Hedwig.

Hermione walked up to Su Yu, her tone suppressing a bit of helplessness and indignation. She picked up the pineapple juice in front of Su Yu, took a big gulp, put it down, and continued.

"Su Yu, Hedwig just delivered news about Buckbeak to Harry."

"The Ministry of Magic has set the date. On June 6th, they will come to Hogwarts to hold the final appeal hearing. That's exactly the day we finish our exams. But, they! They are actually bringing an executioner with them!"

Hermione's brows were tightly knit, her tone full of injustice for Buckbeak. At this moment, she only knew that June 6th was the date for the final appeal hearing, and she still held a glimmer of hope in her heart, wishing for a turning point at the hearing. She had no idea that the outcome of that day had already been secretly decided, and could never imagine that what awaited Buckbeak was a fate at sunset.

She was holding back a sense of injustice in her heart. Now, Harry was the only one she could confide in, but Harry had gone to discuss it with Ron, so she had no choice but to run to the Slytherin Common Room to tell Su Yu about this matter.

By Monday morning, the first exam was Transfiguration.

Professor McGonagall sat upright to one side of the podium, her expression serious and solemn. The task she set this time was to turn the teapot on the table into a tortoise.

This round of assessment was quite difficult. With the slightest deviation in magic, the transformed tortoise would retain traces of the teapot. Hermione stood before the test bench, her brows slightly furrowed, her hand holding her wand steady and precise. She fine-tuned her magic over and over, striving to create a flawless tortoise. Even though she had done it extremely well, she still checked her work repeatedly. After coming out, she even said that the tortoise she had transformed looked a bit like a sea turtle.

Su Yu stood in the Slytherin examination area, his expression calm. With a light flick of the wand in his fingertips, a gentle yet precise surge of magic flowed out, and the teapot on the table instantly transformed into a—soft-shelled turtle with clear shell patterns. Kuramalaughed out loud on the side, and because she was laughing too hard, she almost got bitten by the soft-shelled turtle's head. Only Professor McGonagall was scoring them with a dark face.

Many students had all sorts of issues; some tortoise shells still had the willow patterns of the teapot, some tails were still in the shape of a spout, and some were even puffing out steam. They all looked nervous, scrambling to fix their mistakes in a panic.

Chapter 95 After the Exam (Thanks to Wan Du Ting Lan for the support! Thank you!)

Over the next few days of exams, Su Yu was not anxious at all, because the one who was anxious was Kurama.

That guy really wore Kurama out. After the written exams came the practicals, and after the practicals, she had to help Su Yu steal the answers.

Especially during the Potion Class exam, Kurama was almost exhausted; slicing ingredients and weighing them all in one go without the slightest hesitation.

That performance left Professor Snape, who was watching from the side, completely stunned.

He mocked Su Yu, saying he should give the grade to the fox instead.

Su Yu waved his hand indifferently, "Professor Snape, if you can find Kurama's name, feel free to give her the grade," which made Professor Snape so angry that he turned and walked away.

It wasn't until the required courses finished that laughter returned to Hogwarts School.

The remaining elective exams were nothing to worry about, and the stifled students excitedly rushed out of the exam halls, beginning to let loose.

Blaise walked out of the exam hall pretending to be in pain, gasping for air, and weakly reached out to grab Callis's little hand.

"Hey, what are you doing...! Blaise!"

"I... I'm not feeling very well, I feel like I'm done for..."

"Let me tell you, I'm in a very good mood! Don't affect me!"

"Sometimes I really don't know what to say to you..." Blaisestood up straight instantly, no longer looking pathetic at all.

"Oh, in English it's hello, and over at the Eastern University, I heard the Chief say it's 'Ni Hao'!" Callis blinked her innocent big eyes, just looking at Blaise like that.

Blaise seized the opportunity to grab Callis's little hand and said to her tenderly.

"But I really, I really want to have a home with you, can you promise me? Callis?"

"How pitiful, do you not have a home? You have to be with me to have one, right?" Callis was still blinking her big eyes.

"I really feel like killing you..." Blaise failed his 108th confession to Callis, and in anger, he turned and left.

"Hmph! That's for accompanying those three seniors to study until midnight last night! Serves you right!" Callismuttered softly after Blaise had walked far away.

On the other side, Theodore and Olivia were walking slowly along the side of the Black Lake, holding hands.

Theodore patted his pocket, then lowered his head and spoke slowly.

"Do you know, Olivia?"

"Go ahead, Theodore, I'm listening."

"Sometimes we have to accept the sudden losses in this world..."

"Why have you suddenly started saying these things?" Olivia looked at Theodore, puzzled.

Theodore didn't answer but continued, "Like spilled milk, a lost wallet, a lover who has drifted apart, a broken friendship..."

"If you are powerless, then let nature take its course. You must remember, in this world, apart from life and death, everything else is trivial. If you cannot face it with a smile, then be silent. Take things you care about less seriously. Some things, some people, as long as you don't care so much, they can't hurt you. Whose life isn't full of trivial messes? If money is gone, you can earn more; if a job is gone, you can find another; if friends are gone, you can make new ones; if love is gone, you can meet someone new. Life was originally nothing, so why fear starting over?"

"Uh... what are you trying to express? My dear Theodore?" Olivia put her hands behind her back, somewhat disappointed, and kicked the small pebbles by the lake.

"We can't go back, do you know that? Olivia, we really... really can't go back... back... What are you looking for on the ground? Olivia? Hey... Ah! Ah! Ow! Ow! Don't hit people! Ow! Olivia! Baby! Ow..."

Ten minutes later, Theodore, with his clothes torn, was squatting under a tree, trembling and feeling as aggrieved as a child.

Olivia was holding a large pebble, occasionally gesturing with it, her long hair flying in the air, interpreting what exactly a furious tigress looked like.

"Woo... woo... I just wanted to... wanted to play a joke... I forgot to take the key... We can't get back to the dormitory... Really... I swear! I really just wanted to play a joke..."

Theodore argued loudly. He really had forgotten the key and wanted to play a joke on Olivia.

Who knew that this Ravenclaw eagle, who always looked soft and gentle, would suddenly start hitting him, leaving him bruised and swollen.

He really, truly regretted it; he had brought this upon himself...

Young Master Malfoy wanted to learn from Chief Su Yu's polygamous lifestyle, but it seemed Pansy and Astoria did not agree with his viewpoint.

They joined forces to bully this simple young master who didn't have much of a brain.

The poor young master could now only lie on Goyle's lap, complaining to Crabbe about how the two of them bullied him every day!

He wanted dignity! He only wanted dignity! Dignity!

Alright, enough chatting with those two idiots. It was almost noon.

Malfoy brushed off his bottom and stood up. He, Young Master Malfoy, still had to hurry and bring lunch back to the Common Room for Astoria and the other.

Su Yu looked disdainfully at the disheveled trio returning to the dormitory.

Was this all the ambition Slytherin men had? Did they have any manliness left?

"Pathetic, look at you all. Can't you learn from me? At home, I always have the final say! If I say coal is white, they have to follow me and say coal is white! If everyone were like you three, Slytherin would be finished!"

The disheveled trio also looked disdainfully at the Chief who was showing off while standing on the coffee table.

Didn't he have any idea why Slytherin was like this? Who started it?

If Cassandra and Farley hadn't been out this afternoon, would Su Yu dare to stand on the coffee table and talk?

Just at this moment, the door to the Slytherin Common Room opened.

Su Yu instantly flashed, jumping down from the steps, diligently taking the bag from Farley's hand, and kept asking the girls how their exams went today, if they were hungry, tired, or if they needed to rest.

The disheveled trio suddenly turned their heads in unison.

"Heh!"

"Pfft!"

"Good for nothing!"

At noon, Su Yu took Daphne to the cafeteria to eat.

Because Cassandra and Farley didn't want to go out, their lunch was sent directly to the dormitory by the Whisk.

Su Yu and Daphne had Divination exams in the afternoon, so it just happened that they went to the Great Hall to eat, and would go straight to the exam hall afterward.

At the entrance of the Great Hall, Su Yu also saw Minister Fudge, who was enthusiastically holding Harry's hand and talking non-stop, with an old man and an executioner following behind.

Ron looked a bit resentful on the side, holding back, wanting to say something.

Hermione was watching all of this from the side, looking indifferent.

She had grown up a lot now. Since Hagrid's first failure, she seemed to have known the final outcome, but she didn't tell Harry because Harry couldn't understand it.

Of course, Ron couldn't understand it even more.

Anyway, she and Ron had completely become ordinary friends now.

As for Hagrid's matter, she would just try her best on her own; saying more would be a waste of effort.

So, while listening to the conversation between Minister Fudge and Harry, she looked around.

Seeing Su Yu, she greeted him happily.

After politely saying goodbye to Harry and the others, she rushed over to Su Yu and chatted with him about the exam content for the day.

Chapter 96: Earthquake

After lunch, Su Yu and Daphne walked to the eighth floor. The spiral staircase leading to Trelawney's classroom was packed with third-year students, all cramming the rules of crystal ball divination at the last minute.

Parvati Patil and Lavender Brown were huddled together, nervously quizzing each other. Neville sat on the steps with "Unfogging the Future" spread across his knees, open to the chapter on crystal balls, his face pale.

Su Yu stood in the crowd, leaning quietly against the inner side of the staircase, calmly watching his panicked classmates with an indifferent gaze.

"Hi, Su Yu, Professor Trelawney is seeing us individually." Neville said quietly when he saw Su Yu approach. "Have either of you seen anything in the crystal ball?"

Su Yu shook his head, and Neville bit his lip nervously.

Students had to enter the room for the exam one by one and exit through another door. Before long, Neville was the first to be called in.

He stayed inside for a while. When he came out, he looked shaken, his face paler than before. He sat on the steps, his voice trembling: "I'm definitely going to fail... I mixed up all the omens. Professor Trelawney said I'm going to suffer a serious accident, and I can't tell anyone about the exam content!"

Ron sneered from the side: "She says that to everyone."

Next was Parvati. When she came out, she looked very serious, whispering to Lavender about the "visions" she had seen; Lavender followed, still excitedly discussing it with Parvati when she came out.

Su Yu was called in turn. He walked into the classroom, which was filled with warm mist and pungent incense, and casually made up a few ambiguous scenes for the crystal ball.

Professor Trelawney nodded vaguely and let him leave shortly after.

When it was Ron's turn, he went into the classroom and came out a moment later, looking helpless. He whispered to Harry, complaining: "I couldn't see anything! Just a ball of white mist. I had to make a few things up; she definitely didn't believe me."

The crowd thinned out one by one. After Su Yu left with Daphne, who had also finished her exam, Harry was the only one left waiting on the stairs.

When Professor Trelawney's dreamlike voice came from above, calling "Harry Potter," Harry climbed the spiral silver stairs and entered the classroom.

The room was stiflingly hot, the curtains drawn tight, and the fireplace was burning, filled with the usual scent of incense that made him cough. He navigated around the scattered tables and chairs and walked to the large crystal ball in front of Trelawney.

"Hello, dear." Trelawney said softly, "Look into the crystal ball, take your time, and tell me what you see."

Harry leaned over and stared at the crystal ball. Inside, there was only swirling white mist, nothing else. He just wanted to leave quickly, so he forced himself to make something up: "Uh... I see a black shadow... like a Hippogriff... it's flying away."

Trelawney looked dejected and was about to signal for him to leave when she suddenly stiffened, her eyes rolled back, and she fell into a strange, trancelike state. Her voice became deep and unfamiliar, and she spat out the true prophecy word by word:

"It will happen tonight!"

"What are you saying?"

"The Dark Lord lies alone, friendless, abandoned by his followers."

"His servant has been chained for twelve years, and this very day! Before midnight, the servant will break free and return to his master. The Dark Lord will rise again with his servant's help, greater and more terrible than ever before... Tonight... before midnight... the servant... will set out... to return... to his... master..."

After finishing the Divination Class exam, Su Yu and Daphne walked quickly along the Castle corridor back to the Slytherin common room.

Cassandra was sitting in a velvet armchair by the fireplace, her fingertips lightly flipping through an obscure book on Ancient Magic, while Farley was leaning against the other side, absentmindedly stroking her wand, looking languid.

Seeing Su Yu return, Cassandra looked up and elegantly closed the book: "Is the Divination Class exam over? Did everything go smoothly?"

"Who knows? I don't think I'll fail, right?"

Su Yu had just walked up to the two of them and hadn't had time to say anything else when the stone door of the common room was gently pushed open again.

Professor Graves walked in slowly. His dark Professor's robes accentuated his tall, straight figure, his silver hair was neatly combed back, and his sharp gaze fell directly on Su Yu.

"Su Yu! Ranrok's trail has been found. The exact location is beneath Hogwarts Castle. I have already informed Albus. Ranrok, with a group of Goblins loyal to him, is using special magic drills to frantically dig into the Castle's foundation, attempting to forcibly break through the seal of the repository entrance. I estimate that if we delay any longer, they will soon break through the underground barrier."

Cassandra and Farley heard this clearly. Su Yu's expression darkened; he immediately understood the urgency of the situation. Without a moment's hesitation, he turned to Cassandra and Farley and gave simple instructions: "Please keep an eye on things at the school and keep the situation stable. I'm going with Professor Graves."

Cassandra nodded slightly, her voice calm: "Rest assured, leave this to us. Be careful."

Farley also nodded heavily, without any extra words, just signaling him with a solemn look to stay safe.

Su Yu didn't say anything more. He turned to look at Graves and said in a deep voice, "Let's go." The two turned and walked quickly, heading straight out of the Slytherincommon room and speeding toward the direction of the secret passage beneath Hogwarts Castle.

Su Yu followed behind Grindelwald, hurrying through the hidden stone corridors deep within Hogwarts Castle. The torches on the walls flickered in the wind they created, and dim light and shadows twisted and swayed on the mottled stone walls. The deeper they went, the damper and rougher the stone path beneath their feet became, and the air was filled with a thick scent of dust intertwined with Ancient Magic.

Grindelwald's pace was swift yet steady. He expertly navigated around corners no one knew existed and pushed open a stone door hidden by Ancient Magic, revealing the secret passage leading to the underground of the Castle.

The secret passage was narrow and cramped, with stone steps winding downwards. A muffled, continuous mechanical roar could be heard from the depths of the underground—it was the sound of the magic drills controlled by Ranrok's Goblins, frantically chiseling at the Castle's foundation.

"A little further down, and we will reach the area where Ranrok is digging." Grindelwald lowered his voice, his magic quietly contained within him. His eyes swept sharply over the dark underground passage ahead, his tone carrying a hint of gravity: "Those Goblins' drills are imbued with the power of hell, and the damage to the Castle's foundation is far beyond imagination."

Su Yu followed closely. The roaring from underground became clearer and clearer; he could even feel a slight tremor beneath his feet.

The two had only walked a dozen steps down the stone stairs, not yet truly close to Ranrok's excavation site, when a sudden change erupted—

BOOM—!

A deafening bang exploded from the depths of the underground, and immediately after, a violent earthquake swept through the entire Hogwarts without warning!

Chapter 97: Professor Reinforcements (Thanks to user 42173763 for the "Powered by Love" donation! Thanks)

The stone slabs underfoot shook violently, gravel and dust fell rustling from the top of the secret passage, the torches on the walls were instantly extinguished, and the surroundings plunged into pitch darkness.

The entire Castle was trembling crazily, stone bricks in the corridors were cracking and falling off one after another, the deafening sounds of shattering glass and toppling statues echoed from afar, and the ground heaved violently, making it impossible for anyone to stand steady.

Su Yu instinctively steadied his figure, channeling the Chakra within his body to adhere firmly to the stone steps. Beside him, Grindelwald's silver hair was tousled by the turbulent airflow; he raised his hand to erect a pale golden magic barrier, blocking the constantly falling rubble.

"It must be Ranrok. His drill pierced the seal node of the underground Ancient Magic, triggering a chain collapse of the Castle's foundation."

The force of the earthquake grew stronger and stronger; the entire Hogwarts seemed to be groaning and trembling. The ground cracked open into hideous fissures, the underground roar and tremors intertwined, and the originally dim secret passage was now shrouded in dust, completely plunged into chaos and danger.

The violent earthquake at Hogwarts Castle swept through every corner without warning, and the Slytherin common room was instantly thrown into chaos.

The Slytherin students, who had been sitting together talking in low voices, were panicked. Tables and chairs shifted repeatedly amidst the violent shaking of the ground, sparks splashed from the fireplace, the dark green tapestries swung wildly, gravel fell rustling through the cracks in the stone door, and screams and exclamations rose one after another.

Cassandra was shaken slightly to the side; she quickly grabbed the armchair beside her to steady herself. Her originally calm brows were now filled with gravity, and after exchanging a glance with Farley beside her...

"Everyone quiet!"

Cassandra's cold and powerful voice suddenly rang out, piercing through the noise and panic in the room. Her gaze swept sharply across the hall, and the panicked Slytherinstudents instinctively looked towards these two big sisters.

Farley immediately stepped forward, standing shoulder-to-shoulder with Cassandra. She raised her hand and waved her wand, casting a stabilization charm to temporarily block the falling rubble overhead, and added in a deep voice: "Don't panic, everyone stand firm! Follow orders!"

Seeing that the situation had stabilized slightly, Cassandradid not hesitate for a moment and gave the order with a firm tone: "All Slytherin students, put down what you are holding immediately, gather quickly in the center of the common room by dormitory! Line up, no pushing, and no one is allowed to leave the common room without permission!"

In just a moment, all the Slytherin students in the chaotic common room were lined up neatly, waiting quietly for the next instruction, no longer panicked or noisy as before.

Farley patrolled the students who had finished lining up, her wand gripped tightly in her fingertips, constantly guarding against more dangers brought by the earthquake. She turned to look at Cassandra, waiting for her next arrangement.

Cassandra's gaze swept over the neat ranks, and after confirming that everyone was present, her eyes became even more determined.

"Everyone, move out! We're going down to join the fun too!"

——————

Aftershocks were still faintly surging underground, stone walls continued to shed gravel, and dust filled the entire underground secret passage.

Su Yu and Grindelwald went all the way down, stepping into this vast underground cavern.

The giant magic drill in the center had stopped roaring, and the hard rock foundation had been completely drilled through, revealing a deep, dark opening shrouded in fluctuations of Ancient Magic, clearly having successfully opened the passage to the ancient vault.

Looking around, hundreds upon hundreds of Goblins were densely entrenched everywhere in the cavern, their numbers so great it made one's scalp tingle.

They were thin and gaunt, with fierce and unruly faces, wearing armor, and staring at Su Yu and Grindelwald with covetous eyes.

In addition to the large number of Goblins, many hell creatures and Dementors were also entrenched nearby. Gaunt black shadows lurked in the corners of the rock walls, their scarlet eyes glowing faintly, exuding a cold and violent aura, guarding this underground area together with the Goblins.

Su Yu's gaze swept across the scene quickly, but after looking around, he could not find any trace of Ranrokhimself.

The next second, swarms of Goblins let out sharp, ear-piercing shrieks and closed in together with the surrounding hell creatures. The dense crowd approached from all directions, instantly trapping Su Yu and Grindelwald tightly in the center of the encirclement, the atmosphere instantly tightening to the extreme.

Just then, waves of powerful and majestic magic instantly enveloped the entire area.

Su Yu and Grindelwald looked up simultaneously, Lookingtowards the rocky high platform above the vault entrance—

All the Hogwarts Professors had arrived!

Professor McGonagall stepped onto the center of the high platform first, appearing via Apparition. Her posture was as straight as a pine, her dark green Wizard robes flapping loudly in the underground airflow, her graying hair bun meticulous, her hooked nose taut, and her oak wand pointed straight ahead. Her usually majestic eyes were now full of determination.

Following closely, Severus Snape appeared slowly on the left side of the high platform, wrapped in black robes, his expression cold and gloomy, his eyes indifferent yet sharp. He lightly twirled his wand with his fingertips, surrounded by a faint aura of Dark Arts, saying nothing yet carrying an imposing pressure.

Professor Flitwick also appeared beside Professor McGonagall, small in stature but full of presence, his silver-white beard neat and tidy, his wand raised precisely. This master of Charms Class had already brewed a powerful attack spell, ready to burst out at any moment.

Madam Pomfrey followed closely and appeared on the right side of the stone platform. Usually gentle and capable, her eyes were now firm; she held her wand in one hand and hid healing potions in the other.

Professor Sprout stood beside Professor Flitwick, her face gentle but without fear. Along with Madam Hooch and all the teaching Wizards in the school, they all stood on the high platform, each taking an advantageous position. Rows of wands were raised in unison, powerful magic converged, forming a dazzling magic barrier that shrouded the entire underground cavern.

Without any hesitation, Professor McGonagall was the first to sternly chant the spell: "Confringo!"

Red spell light broke through the air first, striking the Goblins in the front row directly.

Immediately after, Snape said coldly: "Sectumsempra!" A deep purple spell rushed towards the hell creaturescharging at the front; Professor Flitwick shouted "Firestorm!", a violent magic shockwave blew up a large swath of the enemy troops; Professor Sprout waved her wand, "Devil's Snare!" spread crazily, entangling the legs of countless Goblins; Madam Pomfrey, Madam Hooch, and all the other Professors chanted spells in unison, various attacking, binding, and blasting spells poured down like rainstorms towards the Goblins and hell creaturesswarming up from below!

magic light collided violently with the cold aura of the Goblins and hell creatures; explosions, roars, and the chanting of spells intertwined. The Hogwarts Professors on the high platform stood shoulder-to-shoulder, fearless, using the most powerful magic to desperately block this dark force attempting to destroy Hogwarts.

Chapter 98: Ranrok Transforms into a Dragon

Just as the Hogwarts Professors on the high platform unleashed their magic in unison, with spells raining down from the sky to firmly suppress the swarming Goblin army and hell creatures, a sound of steady, synchronized footsteps suddenly surged from the entrance of the underground passage.

One after another, crimson-gold halos of Chakra spread along the corridor as the long-awaited Slytherin team finally arrived.

All students wore the Kurama Cloak, with crimson-gold demon patterns flowing over their black robes, halos enveloping their bodies, and an awe-inspiring presence.

Led by Cassandra, the entire team moved in perfect order, quickly taking their positions on the flank of the battlefield and forming a neat combat formation without the slightest delay, cutting directly into the fray.

Cassandra instantly locked onto the movements of all enemy forces on the battlefield, silently transmitting combat orders to everyone.

Goyle was the first to activate Petrified Skin, his skin instantly hardening into dark, ancient stone. He strode forward to meet the Goblins charging at the front, forcefully tanking all frontal attacks like a moving steel barrier, firmly shielding the team behind him and building the strongest defensive line for his companions.

Crabbe followed closely by Goyle's side, his fists igniting with scorching crimson lava flames. With his lava fists charged, he seized the opening provided by Goyle's defense and punched fiercely into the enemy ranks, causing the flames to explode and blasting a gap, sending all nearby hell creatures flying.

Before the remaining enemies could counterattack, Farleystepped forward. With a light flick of her fingertips, she unleashed Time-Space Stasis, suddenly freezing a large area of space, leaving the Goblins just about to rise and the hell creatures preparing dark attacks all frozen in place.

Draco immediately seized the window of stasis, sweeping his hand across. Ripping winds whistled out, with invisible wind blades sweeping away in a dense web, precisely slashing at the frozen enemy forces. Wherever the wind blades passed, large groups of Goblins were instantly torn to shreds.

Theodore and Blaise kept a close watch on the blind spots of the battlefield. Whenever any fish that slipped through the net attempted to channel Goblin magic to resist, Theodore would immediately raise a finger, precisely triggering magic Disruption to cut off the opponent's flow of magic, causing them to instantly lose their combat capability. Meanwhile, Blaise scanned the enemies attempting to sneak around for an ambush with cold eyes, suddenly unleashing Mental Shock. Targets who met his gaze instantly had their minds go blank and bodies stiffen, standing obediently in place to be easily cleared by students at the edge of the formation, strictly preventing the flank from falling.

Pansy remained stationed in the middle of the formation, fully deploying her emotional perception and control. On one hand, she amplified the fear in the depths of the enemies' hearts, causing them to trample each other and throw their formation into chaos; on the other hand, she calmed her companions' emotions, keeping everyone composed and maintaining an unshakeable rhythm of offense and defense.

Daphne stood at the very back of the team, raising her hand to support a magic Mirror. A pale blue magic barrier enveloped the entire team, reflecting all dark Goblin magicand malicious attacks coming from the enemy's long-range strikes.

Seeing this, the Professors on the high platform intensified their magical offensive. With coordination from above and below, and a pincer movement from front and back, the Goblins across the entire underground battlefield were completely driven into a desperate situation.

Taking advantage of the chaotic battlefield, Su Yu and Grindelwald had already slipped away, avoiding the main melee. Following the gap in the rock layer drilled by the drill, they delved deep into the deepest part of Hogwartsunderground—the antechamber of the Ancient Magicsecret vault.

This was no longer a messy excavation site. The surrounding stone walls were carved with Ancient Magicpatterns, and the ground floated with pale gold Ancient Magic halos. In the very center hovered an Ancient Magiccrystal emitting immense magic power, and the figure they had been searching for so long stood beneath the magiccrystal.

The Goblin leader, Ranrok.

He wore a tattered animal skin cloak adorned with magicrunes, his figure taller and more robust than ordinary Goblins. One hand was pressed firmly against the magiccrystal, greedily absorbing Ancient Magic power, while his body was shrouded in thick, impenetrable dark Goblinmagic, clearly having already completely mastered the magic ley lines here.

Hearing the footsteps, Ranrok slowly turned his head. His scarlet eyes stared fixedly at Su Yu and Grindelwald, a violent, sinister grin curling at the corner of his mouth as the dark magic around him suddenly surged: "You have finally come... I have waited for this day for too long!"

Grindelwald's magical aura erupted, and he looked at Ranrok, his tone full of disdain.

"As expected of a greedy Goblin. Ancient Magic is not something that low-born creatures like you can touch."

The Kurama Cloak slowly unfurled around Su Yu, Chakraand the aura of Ancient Magic intertwining as he stood ready.

Ranrok's frantic roar echoed throughout the secret vault's antechamber. The dark Goblin magic around him frantically wrapped around the immense power of the Ancient Magiccrystal, and his body distorted and expanded at a speed visible to the naked eye.

Rough, hard crimson scales instantly covered his entire body, sharp dragon claws pierced the ground, and bone wings tore through his back and unfurled. His narrow dragon pupils gleamed with bloodthirsty scarlet. In just an instant, the original Goblin form completely vanished, transforming into a crimson giant dragon coiled within the Ancient Magic halo. Dragon breath, carrying shattered Ancient Magic, released a monstrous pressure that shook the stone walls, causing rocks to fall.

Grindelwald's gaze darkened. He pointed his wand directly at the giant dragon, and a Fire Spell erupted, with golden Phoenix flames sweeping out, carrying his most proficient space-distortion magic, aimed straight at the throat of Ranrok's dragon form. Simultaneously, he raised his hand to cast a Binding Spell—Invisible Chains—attempting to restrain the dragon's movements.

Su Yu's scarlet Sharingan instantly activated. The pupil's light swirled, locking onto the dragon's attack trajectory, and then the Rinnegan patterns quietly emerged, with Chakra transforming into sharp energy swirling around him.

He stomped hard, shattering the ground, and used the formidable physique of the Nine-Tails Chakra to get close. At the same time, he activated the power of the Rinneganto block the giant dragon's swinging claws. Without the slightest hesitation, he formed a pincer attack with Grindelwald, facing this rampaging Ancient Magic giant dragon head-on.

After transforming into a dragon, Ranrok let out a deafening roar. His crimson scales shimmered with the eerie light of Ancient Magic. His huge bone wings flapped violently, and a gale carrying rubble and dark Goblin magicswept fiercely towards the two.

Grindelwald rose into the air, his silver hair flying wildly in the gale. With a light tap of his wand, the halo transformed into an invisible barrier, easily blocking this violent impact.

magic surged at his fingertips, and he held nothing back. Purgatory Flames erupted; this time, it was not just simple fire, but golden fire blades carrying the power of space cutting, slashing densely toward the gaps in Ranrok's dragon scales. Simultaneously, he raised his hand to cast an Illusion Spell, and several phantom images identical to him scattered, disrupting Ranrok's line of sight and restraining his attack direction.

As he waved his wand, Ancient Magic curses and powerful binding spells were cast alternately. magic surged like a tide, with every strike precisely targeting vital points like the dragon wings and dragon eyes, giving the rampaging giant dragon no chance to catch its breath. The powerful pressure around him almost crushed all the dark forces within the secret vault.

Su Yu's figure also turned into a crimson-gold afterimage, dodging the scorching dragon breath exhaled by Ranrok. He instantly activated Shinra Tensei, forcibly pulling the giant dragon's body that was pouncing toward Grindelwald, disrupting its offensive.

Taking advantage of this momentary gap, Su Yu leaped onto the dragon's body. Chakra gathered in his fist, and he slammed it hard against a weak point in the dragon scales, the formidable force causing Ranrok to roar in pain. He moved rapidly across the smooth dragon scales, dodging the giant tail and claws swung by the dragon. His Sharingan precisely locked onto the Ancient Magic energy nodes on the dragon's body, and he instantly fired a Tailed Beast Ball, attempting to disintegrate the magic power fused within it.

Ranrok was furious, his dragon body churning wildly. Dark Goblin magic and Ancient Magic intertwined around him, transforming into countless sharp stone spikes that stabbed toward Su Yu on his back. At the same time, he raised his head and exhaled a wide-range dragon breath again, melting even the surrounding stone walls, wanting to completely devour the two.

Seeing this, Grindelwald drew a circle in the air with his wand. The flames filling the sky transformed into chains, tightly binding Ranrok's dragon body and restricting his movements.

"Don't give him any chance to catch his breath! His magiccore is in his chest!"

Hearing this, Su Yu's eyes hardened. Nine-Tails Chakraerupted with full force, the crimson-gold halo around him surging. He leaped to the giant dragon's chest, gathered all his Chakra, and blasted a Tailed Beast Ball out with full force.

Grindelwald also struck at the same time. Ancient Magiccondensed into the sharpest spear of light, and together with Su Yu's attack, it slammed fiercely into the magic core in Ranrok's chest!

The dragon's roar became incomparably shrill. Ranrok's massive dragon body trembled violently, and a violent energy shockwave exploded in the antechamber of the secret vault, instantly bringing the battle to a white-hot intensity.

Chapter 99 Tenseigan (Thanks to Wandu Tinglan for the four "Power of Love" donations! Thank you!)

The violent shockwave of energy was still raging within the cavern, causing Ranrok's massive dragon body to tremble violently. The magic core in his chest had been torn open by the double impact, and dark red Ancient Magic energy leaked out frantically as a mournful dragon roar echoed throughout the entire Ancient Magic repository.

Just as he was about to collapse to the ground, the space above the cavern suddenly twisted. A pitch-black rift in space slowly tore open, and cold, bone-chilling Abyssal demonic energy surged out frantically along the rift, instantly suppressing all the surrounding Ancient Magicaura.

From within the rift, a blurry yet overwhelmingly imposing phantom slowly coalesced; it was the soul projection of Asmodeus, the Lord of the Lust Hell.

He had a slender figure, and his body was wrapped in demonic mist interwoven with pale purple and dark gold. His face was handsome but exuded extreme indifference and contempt. Looking down from above at the dying shadow dragon, his tone was full of disdain and scorn: "Humble Goblin, unable to control even a sliver of Hell's power, you truly are a useless piece of trash."

Asmodeus raised his hand indifferently, and a vast, boundless hellish source of magical power, far exceeding anything before by a hundredfold, transformed into a dark golden beam of light that pierced through heaven and earth, pouring directly into Ranrok's body.

This power carried the decay and tyranny of the Abyssal Hell and contained the authority of the Lord of Hell; it was simply not something Ranrok's mortal dragon body could withstand.

In an instant, Ranrok's crimson dragon scales turned black at a speed visible to the naked eye, glowing with a rich, dark purple demonic light. His originally scarlet dragon eyes turned completely pitch-black, blood-colored veins appeared in the whites of his eyes, demonic hellish patterns spread across his hideous dragon horns, black Hellfire wrapped around his bone wings, and his body expanded once more. His aura completely transformed—from a red dragon tainted by Ancient Magic, he had become a full-fledged Hell Dragon.

"ROAR—!!!"

A violent dragon roar, several times stronger than before, exploded. The rock walls of the entire repository collapsed with a boom, rubble fell like rain, and the Ancient Magicrunes on the ground were completely corroded by the hellish demonic energy.

Ranrok had completely lost all sanity, leaving only the most primitive instinct for destruction and slaughter. Hellish demonic power and Ancient Magic collided frantically within his body, and demonic energy surged like waves around him. With a wide opening of his dragon maw, black Hell Dragon breath erupted towards Grindelwald and Su Yu.

Grindelwald curled his lips slightly, a cold sneer appearing on his face. He let out a soft snort through his nose, and while looking at Su Yu, he waved his wand rapidly, stacking layers of magic barriers.

Su Yu's pupils constricted. Facing this earth-shattering hellish pressure, he no longer held anything back.

The surging crimson-gold Kurama's Chakra around him suddenly receded. His original Sharingan instantly erupted with brilliant silver-blue radiance, the patterns in his pupils iterated layer by layer and completely transformed. The Tenseigan fully awakened, and its gentle yet domineering ocular power instantly enveloped the entire battlefield, dispelling the surrounding pervasive hellish demonic energy.

Pale golden Chakra veins spread along his body, and a silver-white halo covered him completely. His robes billowed loudly, stirred by the power, and faint patterns exclusive to the Ōtsutsuki clan appeared behind him. He was surrounded by a pure Tenseigan Chakra cloak, standing in mid-air like a god descended from the Moon Palace, perfectly replicating the form and aura of Ōtsutsuki Hamura.

However, what Su Yu did not understand was that the more abilities he gained over the past few years, the more he felt something was wrong. Starting from the age of six, he began to gain one ability every year: Kurama, Wood Release, Sharingan, Sand Release, Sage Mode, until the last one he gained before starting school, which upgraded the Sharingan into the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan, and then the ones he gained after starting school, the Rinneganand Tenseigan.

First of all, he felt that his Yin-Yang Chakra was not right. He already had the Rinnegan, but he didn't have Truth-Seeking Orb, and he couldn't achieve the fusion of the Rinnegan and Sharingan. Now, with the addition of the Tenseigan, although the Tenseigan allowed him to obtain Truth-Seeking Orb, the Truth-Seeking Orb disappeared after deactivating the Tenseigan. This made Su Yu wonder if he was still missing something?

Then, there was another particularly important point: he had all this power, but he didn't know many techniques and ninjutsu. Things like Shadow Clone, Rasengan, Flying Thunder God, he didn't know how to use any of them, and there was nowhere to learn them. He often consoled himself, thinking that he would probably have them in the future.

Turning his attention back to the battlefield, the vast ocular power of the Tenseigan merged perfectly with Kurama's Chakra. Su Yu's aura climbed steadily, completely breaking through his previous limits. His cold gaze locked onto the completely rampaging Hell Dragon, his power poised to strike, ready to face this final battle to the death.

The pitch-black Hell Dragon breath, carrying tyrannical demonic flames that corroded everything, engulfed Su Yuin mid-air like a tsunami. Wherever it passed, the hard rock walls instantly melted into scorching lava, the bluestone on the ground hissed as it was corroded, and the intense hellish demonic energy almost completely swallowed the entire Ancient Magic repository.

Silver-white light swirled around Su Yu. He raised his fingertips slightly, and nine round, pitch-black Truth-Seeking Orb suddenly condensed from the Chakra around his body. They hovered around him, spinning rapidly, with a layer of pale cyan light film covering their surface, forming an impenetrable absolute defense.

The Hell Dragon breath slammed hard against the Truth-Seeking Orb barrier. A harsh tearing and corroding sound exploded instantly. The demonic flames and demonic energy surged and raged frantically, but they could never break through the defense of the Truth-Seeking Orb and were all blocked outside.

Seeing this, the Hell Dragon's murderous intent surged in its scarlet and black dragon eyes. It roared skyward, a violent sound that shook the cavern. Its massive body suddenly soared into the air, and its hideous dragon horns, covered in hellish demonic patterns, carried a destructive force as it charged straight at Su Yu. Its thick dragon claws, wreathed in raging Hellfire, slashed down fiercely from mid-air, the brute force tearing through the air with a piercing sound.

Su Yu's eyes were indifferent. He activated repulsive force, and an invisible force barrier instantly spread out in front of him. The Hell Dragon's powerful charge and claw strike hit the repulsion field and were suddenly forced back. Its massive body paused abruptly in the air, its momentum instantly reduced.

Before the Hell Dragon could adjust its offensive, Chakrasurged in Su Yu's palms, controlling the Truth-Seeking Orbaround him to speed forward. The pitch-black orbs, carrying a sharp whistling sound through the air, smashed one after another like meteors toward the Hell Dragon's vital points, such as its head, wing roots, and gaps in its scales. Wherever the Truth-Seeking Orb passed, the hellish demonic energy was completely dispersed. Every strike caused the Hell Dragon's body to tremble violently, and dark purple demonic blood slowly seeped out from the cracks in its scales.

The furious Hell Dragon swung its tail frantically. The giant iron-whip-like tail blade swept over with the force of ten thousand jun, while the surging hellish demonic energy around its body condensed into countless sharp demonic spikes, shooting toward Su Yu in an overwhelming barrage, with an airtight offensive.

The Truth-Seeking Orb instantly returned to defend, forming a circular shield around him, blocking and shattering all the demonic spikes. At the same time, Su Yuraised his hand to activate gravitational force, forcibly pulling the sweeping dragon tail to one side, disrupting the Hell Dragon's attack rhythm, and his figure instantly teleported to the top of the Hell Dragon's head.

He gripped his hands in the air, the ocular power of the Tenseigan erupting with full force. The Chakra around his body gathered into several slender yet sharp Tenseiganlight blades, which slashed down densely toward the Hell Dragon's head and neck.

The light blades collided with the Hell Dragon's hard demonic scales, sparking a sky full of sparks. The Hell Dragon roared in pain, suddenly raising its head, and its dragon maw once again condensed an even thicker Hell Dragon breath, spraying it with full force toward Su Yu above its head.

Chapter 100: Silver Wheel Reincarnation Explosion

Su Yu spun in mid-air, the Truth-Seeking Orb rearranging themselves in front of him to withstand the wave of dragon breath. Simultaneously, he gathered power at his fingertips, slowly forming a rotating silver blade of light that he launched directly at the demon dragon's chest.

"Silver Wheel Reincarnation Explosion!"

Seeing this, the demon dragon forcibly condensed all its hellish magic to form a thick magical shield over its chest, while its dragon claws slammed down toward Su Yu's position.

The silver light blade collided with the magical shield with a deafening roar, and a violent energy shockwave ravaged the surroundings, causing the entire Chamber of Secrets to shake violently.

The intense battle continued, and the clash between the Tenseigan's ocular power and the hellish demonic energy left the entire Chamber of Secrets teetering on the brink of collapse, with debris constantly falling from the ceiling. Out of the corner of his eye, Su Yu saw that old man Grindelwald slacking off again. He had started blatantly avoiding the fight, busy repairing the cracks in the Chamber of Secrets and stabilizing the terrain instead.

The demon dragon was engulfed in monstrous magical flames. Even though it had been severely wounded in multiple places by the Truth-Seeking Orb and the light blade, its violent bloodlust remained undiminished. Its maw repeatedly spat out pitch-black dragon breath, and its massive body rampaged, smashing the newly repaired rock walls into smithereens.

Su Yu hovered in mid-air, his Truth-Seeking Orb still spinning rapidly around him. His silver-blue Tenseigandiscerned every trace of magic flowing within the demon dragon. Seeing the dragon's increasingly frantic counterattacks, his eyes suddenly sharpened. His right arm tensed, and faint, emerald-green snake-like patterns began to emerge beneath his skin.

Channeling the magic within him, a radiance flowed along his right arm. Emerald green and silver-white light intertwined as a slytherin spear, engraved with intricate snake patterns and exuding an ancient pressure, slowly formed in his palm.

The spear was entirely glowing green, its tip gleaming with a cold, sharp light. It was covered in the sealing incantations of the first Slytherin of Hogwarts and wreathed in pure magic that countered hell creatures.

Grasping the spear with one hand, Su Yu's aura climbed to a new peak. With silver-blue and emerald-green light entwined around him, he stopped defending passively. He controlled the Truth-Seeking Orb to clear the way ahead, forcibly breaking through the dragon breath that was pouring toward him. His figure shot forward like an arrow released from a string, diving straight toward the demon dragon.

The demon dragon roared in fury. Its claws, wreathed in hellfire, slammed down viciously, while its tail swept in with the force of ten thousand tons, attempting to crush Su Yu and his spear together.

Su Yu forcefully deflected the dragon's claw attack, simultaneously locking onto the dragon's tail with gravity and pulling its strike off course. The Truth-Seeking Orbaround him took turns smashing into the demon dragon's wounds, forcing it to hesitate in its movements.

In the blink of an eye, Su Yu had reached the front of the demon dragon. He raised the slytherin spear high, gathering all his power at the tip. The two-colored light surged, and the spear, carrying the momentum to break magic, thrust fiercely toward the magical core in the demon dragon's chest that had been severely damaged earlier.

Sensing a fatal crisis, the demon dragon frantically mobilized all its hellish magic, forming the thickest possible magical shield over its chest. Its scales stood on end as it fought with all its might to resist.

However, the slytherin spear was an ancient artifact designed to counter hell creatures. Combined with Su Yu's full-force strike, the spear tip easily tore through the magical shield and pierced straight through the hardened hellish scales.

The emerald and silver-white power surged through the spear into the demon dragon's core, instantly shredding the chaotic hellish magic and Ancient Magic within it. After a violent explosion, the magical core in its chest was completely destroyed. Su Yu was also blown away by the recoil, only to be caught by the slacking Grindelwald.

On the other side, the demon dragon's pupils shrank instantly. Its previously violent roar stopped abruptly, turning into an extremely shrill, mournful cry. Its massive dragon body convulsed violently, the hellfire around it extinguished rapidly, and its pitch-black dragon eyes gradually lost their luster.

The next second, the demon dragon could no longer support itself. Its massive body crashed to the ground, kicking up a cloud of dust. The demonic energy around it completely dissipated, and all signs of life vanished.

The slytherin spear, which had fallen to the ground, saw its eerie glow gradually fade before transforming into a streak of green light that flew back to merge into Su Yu's right arm.

The Truth-Seeking Orb around him slowly dissipated, and the silver-blue halo of the Tenseigan gradually faded. After landing steadily with Grindelwald's support, he stood firm and looked at the demon dragon's corpse before him. The life-and-death battle had finally come to an end.

"Not bad, kid. You give me a surprise every year, don't you? What kind of power is this?"

Grindelwald teased from the side.

"You old man... you and Dumbledore only know how to slack off, right? With such powerful forces, logically, this Chamber of Secrets should have collapsed long ago, right?"

Although this wasn't the first time Su Yu had been annoyed by the two of them, this time it was truly excessive; it was just too blatant!

"This is for your own good, kid! Don't always be so ungrateful. To put it simply, this future is ours, but ultimately, it belongs to you all. If one day you really encounter the true Lord of Hell, are you going to wait for us to rescue you? Are we old guys supposed to go up there?"

Su Yu didn't reply, just rolled his eyes. He should save that chicken soup for the soul for Harry; he's the Savior, after all.

Grindelwald laughed awkwardly at this point and changed the subject.

"What do you think about this chaotic Ancient Magic? Should it be destroyed or absorbed?"

Su Yu didn't know what to do either. Destroying it would be a pity, but absorbing it... he didn't know what the consequences would be. After all, Ranrok had turned into a giant dragon after absorbing it and had almost lost his mind.

Kurama manifested from Su Yu's body, hopped happily to a high place, and muttered to herself.

"Then just leave it to me, your mistress! I have a feeling this thing should be useful to me! It's just a mere source of Ancient Magic that affects one's sanity if absorbed; watch me perform something big for you!"

As she spoke, Kurama's figure suddenly grew large. She opened her mouth and inhaled all the Ancient Magicsources floating in the air into her body, then let out a satisfied burp.

"Holy crap, something's not right. Little Su-Zi, I need to sleep for a while. This power is a bit too immense. Quick, quick, quick, let me back in..."

Su Yu looked speechless at the shrinking Kurama and tapped her on the head. How inverted the world had become—she actually called him "Little Su-Zi." He then asked her with concern if she was alright. Kurama gave him a reassuring look, indicating she just needed to digest it, before falling into a deep sleep.

The Lord of Hell, Asmodeus, had just opened a rift, given the power, and left. This made Su Yu feel something was off. This time, the Lord of Hell didn't seem to care about Ranrok's situation at all, as if he were just an insignificant pawn... A pawn... What was it in the original work?

Oh no! The men in black! Harry! Su Yu suddenly realized, turned his head to look at Grindelwald, and told him what he was thinking.

Who knew that Grindelwald would just wave his hand at Su Yu, telling him to relax—with Dumbledore over there, what kind of major trouble could there be?

"Who cares about Harry? I'm worried about Hermione!"

"Isolde sensed something was wrong a long time ago and went with your little lover. With how dense you are, if we waited for you to notice? The opportunity would have already passed."

Su Yu breathed a sigh of relief. In the future, he would really have to leave everything to Cassandra and Isolde. His own brain really wasn't suited for this. But then again, if his wife had brains, that meant he had brains too. Ha! He really was a genius!

At this moment, the team of Professors and the Slytheringroup, having finished the group battle outside, also rushed over. Malfoy was flushed with excitement, boasting to Pansy about how many Goblins and hell creatures he had killed!

However, Pansy acted with a face full of admiration, playing the part very realistically, while keeping quiet about the fact that she had specifically increased control over the enemies in front of Malfoy, which was the only reason Malfoy had achieved such a record.
