Chapter 2706 - Ch: 125-132

Chapter 125 Quarterfinals

Sure enough, a child really had fallen in, but he was lucky; he was dragged back by the Giant Squid in the Black Lake. That child was Dennis Creevey, the younger brother of Colin Creevey, who loved taking photos. He was sorted into Gryffindor.

Headmaster Dumbledore sat in the very center of the teachers' table. His silver-white hair and long beard were thick and shiny, hanging down to his waist, almost long enough to be tucked into his belt. Half-moon spectacles rested on the bridge of his nose, and behind the lenses were a pair of bright blue eyes that seemed to glow.

Today, he was wearing a deep green robe embroidered with stars and moons, with a floor-length purple cloak draped over it.

He rested his chin on his fingertips, his gaze drifting toward the enchanted ceiling, as if deep in thought. It wasn't until he saw the first-years enter that he lowered his hands and revealed a smile, as if welcoming them.

A group of first-years walked in shivering. They were all soaked through by the rain, especially the child who had fallen into the lake. Not only did they have to endure the bone-chilling cold, but they also stood in a line, trembling with fear and anxiety about the future.

Professor McGonagall brought up the tattered Sorting Hat. Everyone began to listen to the Sorting Hat sing its unpleasant song. Malfoy mocked it from the side, saying that with the Sorting Hat's brain, it must have taken a whole year to come up with one song.

"Stuart Ackerley!"

"Ravenclaw!"

"Malcolm Baddock!"

"Slytherin!"

...

As Professor McGonagall called out the names one by one, the Sorting Hat quickly finished sorting all the students. After all the students were sorted, Cassandra waved her wand, and all the rainwater on the first-year Slytherinstudents was sucked out and casually tossed by Cassandraoutside the Great Hall. Daphne also waved her wand, and a ball of flame appeared in front of every first-year student, warming everyone.

The first-years from the other houses watched this scene curiously, hoping that the senior students of their own houses would do the same. However, the senior students of their houses were just as curious, okay!

This was all Ancient Magic; they wanted to learn it too, but they couldn't. The Slytherin students had stolen the show! What were they supposed to do? They just had to let the first-years suffer a little longer until they went to change their clothes later.

After everyone finished eating, Headmaster Dumbledoreannounced this year's notices from above.

First, there were many more items added to this year's list of banned items, including things like Screaming Yo-yos, Fanged Frisbees, and Ever-Bashing Boomerangs, totaling over four hundred items. Most of them were things the Weasley Twins liked to play with, so they had to keep inventing new things to keep up with the school's banned list.

The second item was the usual talk about Hogsmeade Village. The old rule still applied: students in their third year and above could go, provided they had a signed permission slip from their parents. However, this year Harry could go openly and honestly; his godfather, Sirius Black, had signed for him!

The third item was that there would be no Quidditchtournament this year. This disappointed many students, especially those in Gryffindor, who were counting on making a comeback this year! Last year they had lost to Ravenclaw, and just when they swore to reclaim their glory this year, reality dealt them a heavy blow: it wouldn't be held this year.

At this moment, a clap of thunder suddenly rang out in the sky, and the doors of the Great Hall opened again. A limping man walked in, leaning on a cane. One of his legs was made of wood with a claw at the bottom, and one of his eyes was fake, rolling around wildly.

Su Yu felt that the movie version of Lord Voldemort must have been based on him. Seriously, no nose, face full of scars, mouth slanted like a gash—he was really ugly. Even in the movies, it wasn't like this...

He walked slowly toward Headmaster Dumbledore, taking a sip of drink along the way. Headmaster Dumbledoreintroduced him as Professor Moody, this year's new teacher for the lower-year Defense Against the Dark Arts Class.

Professor Moody's fake eye scanned the students, scaring them so much that few applauded to welcome him. However, Professor Moody didn't seem to care, as if he were already used to this.

"I think something is wrong, Su Yu." Kurama said to Su Yuin his mind.

"I've always known something was wrong, so? Shall we take him out tonight?" Su Yu rubbed his hands, ready for a big fight. He didn't want one of Lord Voldemort's lackeys annoying him here for another year.

"Alright, let's continue. In the coming month of October, Hogwarts is preparing to host a very grand event! That is..." Headmaster Dumbledore was still speaking passionately from above.

Kurama instantly jumped up, and her figure began to grow larger.

"That is, the Eight-Wizard Tournament!"

"Huh?" Su Yu suddenly felt lost. Wasn't it the Triwizard Tournament? How did it become the Eight-Wizard Tournament? Su Yu's sudden stop made the now-giant Kurama look a bit at a loss, and she turned back, staring at him with wide eyes.

"You've got to be kidding me, buddy, are you messing with me? I was ready to go! What are you doing?" Kuramafrantically transmitted her voice to Su Yu in his mind.

"Uh... wait a second... the plan has changed... let's wait and see for now, and listen to what Headmaster Dumbledorehas to say..."

"Kurama, what are you doing?" Headmaster Dumbledore, whose speech had been interrupted by Kurama suddenly growing larger, looked at Kurama with dissatisfaction.

"Uh... oh! I just felt that being too small meant I was eating too slowly, so I grew bigger to eat, so I could eat more... Hahaha, right... Su Yu!" After saying this, Kurama angrily swallowed Su Yu in one gulp, scaring the first-years so much that they were truly crying out loud.

"Ahem, alright, you two stop messing around, continue listening to me!"

Only then did Kurama reluctantly spit Su Yu out... Daphnelaughed while wiping Su Yu's body, and even had the Whisk bring over many kinds of cheesecake. Kurama ate angrily on the side, turning her grief and indignation into appetite!

"This is not what we heard!" Some Slytherin students below had already shouted out.

"Indeed, the Ministry of Magic's original idea was to host the Triwizard Tournament, because it hasn't been held for over a hundred years," Headmaster Dumbledoreexplained, "However, near the end of the last semester, a student accused me, the Supreme Mugwump of the International Confederation of Wizards, of being useless. Therefore, after careful consideration, I have decided not to hold the Triwizard Tournament this year, but to change it to the Eight-Wizard Tournament!"

"Furthermore, this time each school will select 20 contestants to participate! They will compete in groups, representing their respective houses. The age limit is third year and above, not including third year! Also, in order to cope with the constant crises, this Eight-Wizard Tournament may result in casualties! I emphasize again, there may be casualties! Therefore, students who want to sign up must think clearly; you must consider it again and again! This time, you will no longer be flowers in a greenhouse! You will face this dangerous Wizarding world in advance! The Wizarding world has never been peaceful. This will be your first time facing the cruelty of the Wizarding world, but I hope it will not be your last!"

Chapter 126: Blast-Ended Skrewt

"Are you joking, Headmaster Dumbledore?" Fred shouted.

"I am afraid I am not joking, Mr. Weasley," Headmaster Dumbledore said, adjusting his glasses. He then began to recount the origins of the Triwizard Tournament and the schools participating in this Eight-Wizard Tournament.

This made many of the students below nervous. For many of them (except for Slytherin), it was their first time hearing about facing death directly. Many students had already begun to waver; they had given up on the competition in their hearts. There was no need to gamble with their lives for a competition, right?

"Su Yu, as the Prefect of Slytherin, do you have any thoughts on the contestants representing Slytherin?" Headmaster Dumbledore asked from the podium.

Su Yu was almost amused to the point of laughter. Wasn't he just asking if their Slytherin students could step up if no other houses participated?

"Headmaster Dumbledore, why don't you just ask them yourself? I never interfere with their decisions; I am merely a guide."

"For the glory of Slytherin!" the Slytherin students shouted.

At that moment, all the students from the other houses were stunned. The panic stopped spreading, the discussions ceased, and they all stared straight at the Slytherin side.

"This is our answer. Slytherin is always ready to fight for glory, even if it costs us our lives, Headmaster Dumbledore." Su Yu, along with all the Slytherin students, raised their heads and looked toward the teachers' table.

"Very well. The other houses should discuss this after returning. If there are no candidates, then Slytherin House will represent our Hogwarts in the competition this time!" Headmaster Dumbledore announced loudly.

"Why didn't you join me in killing that Professor Moodyjust now!"

In the common room, inside the small room Su Yu had created alone, Su Yu liked listening to the sound of rain, so the girls were all there chatting and keeping him company.

Because of what had just happened, Kurama was jumping back and forth on Su Yu, stepping on him so hard he almost threw up his dinner.

"Stop it, be good. It's just that the plan changed suddenly. It's the Eight-Wizard Tournament! The Mahoutokoro School of Magic is coming too! We need a scapegoat. Don't you think this fake Professor Moody is just perfect?"

"A scapegoat? What are you planning to do?" Cassandrasat beside Su Yu, looking at him curiously.

"Of course, to kill them all..." Su Yu revealed a cruel smile.

"Got it! Kill them all!" Kurama imitated Su Yu, revealing an identical cruel smile.

"Don't mess this up, you two. If you get exposed, you might become public enemies of the entire wizarding world." Daphne was a bit worried. After all, this was the first time Su Yu had blatantly said he wanted to wipe out an entire organization. He would surely be even more ruthless in action than in words.

"Don't worry. At worst, we'll just say we were controlled by the Imperio from that fake Professor Moody. Perfect!" Su Yu had finally found a perfect scapegoat for killing the Japanese. How could he let that pass?

"Who are you planning to have participate?" Farley, who was reading a magazine, suddenly asked.

"Let's see how the other houses choose. Anyway, there are 20 spots. We'll decide after they finish picking. We have too many people on our side, we can go up at any time. I've never fought such a rich battle!"

"What about people from other schools? Are you going to kill them too?" Farley asked again.

"Can you stop having a bigger thirst for blood than me every day? We'll adapt to circumstances. If they don't submit, we'll deal with them. In the words of our Eastern lands, the world of Jianghu isn't just about fighting and killing; it's about human relationships!" Su Yu looked at Farley helplessly. If it weren't for him holding her back, with her crazy personality, Ancient Magic, and the Kurama Cloak, she would definitely be the third Dark Lord the moment she walked out the door!

"Tch, you have the nerve to say that to me? At the very least, I didn't slaughter the entire species of Acromantulajust because I was afraid of spiders! If Cassandra and I hadn't persuaded you, you really intended to kill them all before daring to enter the Forbidden Forest at night, right?"

"Right, you're a magic cultivator, and you have the nerve to lecture us? We at least didn't want to slaughter all of Hogwarts on the first day of school!" Cassandra definitely sided with Farley this time.

Su Yu scratched his head, unable to argue back. He really couldn't win. In the end, he could only blame everything on Kurama, which made Kurama bite Su Yu again in anger.

The new semester started just like that. Early the next morning, the storm had passed, but it was still gloomy. Su Yu used Ancient Magic to make it pour with rain again. In a good mood, he lay on the desk in the History of Magicclass with Kurama, sleeping. Professor Binns continued to sing a lullaby on the podium, and only a few students below were still taking notes seriously.

The school was abuzz with discussions about the upcoming Eight-Wizard Tournament. After a night of consideration, more and more Gryffindor students felt it was interesting. They didn't lack courage, and they could fight for honor just like Slytherin. The most lively ones were the Weasley Twins. The prize money they won from betting with Ludo Bagman last time hadn't been paid out yet, and he was the Minister of the Department of Magical Games and Sports! However, upon hearing that the prize money for this Eight-Wizard Tournament was a full 10,000 Galleons, both of them impatiently agreed to participate. Making money—where is that not dangerous, right? They thought in their hearts.

The other two houses weren't as eager to participate, especially after hearing Headmaster Dumbledoreemphasize twice that there might be casualties. Their enthusiasm for signing up dropped a lot, but that didn't stop them from discussing the matter. After all, at this age, who doesn't dream of being a hero?

Even the famous Harry had spent the whole night dreaming of himself killing his way through the Eight-Wizard Tournament, finally winning first place with difficulty, being tossed high by his classmates, and winning the girl. He woke up laughing in the morning.

"I hate this disgusting thing!"

In Hagrid's first class, Malfoy looked at the newly hatched Blast-Ended Skrewts with a look of disgust, wishing he could step on them immediately.

This was a hybrid breed personally created by the genius "Pokémon" player Hagrid, illegally bred from a Manticore and a Fire Crab. They were 15 centimeters long upon hatching, looking very much like larvae of an alien species. They didn't even have heads; they were all legs, their bodies like maggots, white and chubby, and covered in disgusting slime that smelled like rotten fish.

"Oh! Merlin's beard! Can this disgusting thing actually spray fire from its butt?" Callis said while dry-heaving.

"Don't you think they are cute?" Hagrid tried to defend them from the side; he didn't allow the children to talk about his little babies like that.

"If you keep going like this, you will be sued by the Ministry of Magic sooner or later, Hagrid..." Su Yu looked at this big oaf and had to speak up to warn him. "Can't you get some Puffskeins, Nifflers, or Bowtruckles or something? That would guarantee your class would be very popular with the students."

"Really? Su Yu, but aren't Blast-Ended Skrewts quite cute too?" Hagrid didn't quite understand. They were all magical creatures, how could there be discrimination?

"They are only disgusting, Hagrid. You have to know that the aesthetic of a Giant is different from that of a human. I won't be able to eat my lunch today; it's too disgusting! Furthermore, what's the benefit of us taking care of them? What can they be used for?"

Malfoy on the side couldn't help but prepare to step on them, but fortunately, he was stopped by Harry and the others who were in class with them.

In the end, something happened. While feeding them, Thomas was burned by the tail of a Blast-Ended Skrewt, and a large part of his hand was burned.

This was the difference between pure-blood nobles and ordinary Wizards. If Malfoy had been burned, Hagridwould have been impeached at the very least, and this second time could have even caused him to lose his job directly.

Chapter 127: Divination Class

During the afternoon Divination Class, ProfessorTrelawney was as cryptic as ever, constantly showing off her newly acquired Thai fox charm!

Lavender and Parvati looked at the fox charm with envy, but their reaching hands were slapped away by ProfessorTrelawney, who told them not to touch it indiscriminately.

Su Yu and Kurama laughed out loud on the side, angering Professor Trelawney so much that she deducted ten points from Slytherin for disrespecting the class.

"But, Professor, Thailand is a tropical country; it doesn't have foxes. May I ask how they made a fox charm?" Su Yuasked, laughing while looking puzzled.

"This..." Professor Trelawney was suddenly a bit stumped. Thailand doesn't have foxes? This was the first time she had heard of this. "Perhaps... the breed is different... I also bought an incredibly expensive peach wood warding charm! Everyone, come and look at this!"

Su Yu laughed even louder, "Professor, your ignorance is truly terrifying. Peach trees only grow in temperate and subtropical zones; Thailand doesn't have peach trees..."

Professor Trelawney was truly getting annoyed and embarrassed, "Student Su Yu, please do not spout nonsense in class. I haven't even taken out the most powerful Thai mage 'Tai Sui' ward yet!"

"Thailand believes in Buddhism; Tai Sui is something from my Eastern lands..."

"Then what about the Thai lightning-struck jujube wood that I spent one hundred Galleons on?"

"Thailand has neither a lightning-strike system nor jujube trees... Professor, from the moment you started divination using tea leaves that only reached Britain three hundred years ago, I knew exactly how high your IQ was. Is Divination Class really something that has been passed down? I highly doubt it."

"Exactly, she would be better off worshipping me than a fox charm. At least I can talk, right?" Kurama also joined Su Yu in mocking Professor Trelawney.

In the end, the class finished early. Professor Trelawneyfled in disgrace, so all the students were dismissed early.

"You shouldn't have refuted Professor Trelawney in front of so many people, Su Yu. It was too embarrassing for her. Who is going to teach our future classes..."

Daphne, walking on the way home, was still complaining about Su Yu. She felt that this kind of teacher was easier to get credits from, and Divination Class was optional anyway; as long as you could get credits, wasn't that good? Now that Su Yu had done this, Headmaster Dumbledorewould probably change teachers. If the next teacher really had skills, the exam would be difficult, and they would have to relearn everything...

"Uh..." Su Yu also realized it and scratched his head in embarrassment. Right, why was he making trouble for himself... "Kurama, why didn't you stop me?"

"????"

At dinner that evening, Headmaster Dumbledoreannounced that because Professor Trelawney had voluntarily resigned, the subsequent courses would be temporarily taught by the knowledgeable Isolde Rosier. Isolde stood on the podium with a displeased expression, while the students below cheered and applauded at the sight of the beautiful teacher, especially Hermione. Finally, that annoying Professor was gone! She clapped her hands vigorously.

Only Isolde was dissatisfied. She was originally just a secretary with nothing to do all day, the kind who could still collect a salary, which was very carefree. But to clean up after her boss, she had to pick up the books again and start attending classes on time every day. Merlin's beard! Her good days were over...

So Su Yu didn't return to the dormitory all night. The next day, he didn't walk out of the Professor's lounge, trembling, until noon, eating lunch frantically in the Great Hall.

"Oh, who on earth invented this Beef Wellington? It tastes terrible!" Su Yu tossed that lump aside and picked up other food, swallowing it in large mouthfuls.

"And this caviar, Whisk, don't bring these two things to my table again in the future. They taste too awful..."

"I will strictly follow your instructions, my master." Whiskhurriedly took these two things away.

"Where did you go last night? You're like a starving ghost today?" Hermione kept handing pineapple juice to Su Yu, fearing that Su Yu might choke to death again.

"Oh, a powerful female monster caught me, tortured me all night, and almost sucked me dry, woo..."

"Shut your mouth, dear, Hermione is still a child!"

Daphne picked up the handkerchief in her hand and stuffed it into Su Yu's mouth.

"Daphne, did you stuff the handkerchief in too tightly? I see Su Yu rolling his eyes?" Hermione exclaimed.

"It's fine, that's him activating his Tenseigan, don't worry." Daphne said indifferently, but she still took the handkerchief out of Su Yu's mouth and patted his back.

In the afternoon, Su Yu and Daphne, who was holding Kurama, came to Greenhouse Three. Of course, Professor Sprout had emphasized several times that this thing was called a greenhouse, but Su Yu still liked calling it a shed.

"Why is everything so disgusting these two days? Are we in our fourth year just because we've grown up and have stronger acceptance? But I can't accept these disgusting things!"

The young master was still the same young master; he was the first to stand up and almost swear.

"Mr. Malfoy, please call it a Bubotuber!" Professor Sproutlooked at Malfoy with dissatisfaction.

"Oh, you mean this thick, black, shiny, wriggling big slug is a plant?" Malfoy exclaimed.

"Uh... are you sure the thing you're talking about is the same thing I'm thinking of?" Blaise laughed cheekily.

With a "bang," Callis punched him, and Blaise lay on the ground with a swollen bump on his head.

"Everyone, remember to put on dragon-hide gloves, and then squeeze hard! Our goal is to collect its pus! You must be careful not to get the pus on your skin; it will cause painful boils!"

"Why do I feel it's getting more and more like what Blaisesaid?" Theodore whispered to Olivia, and then he was also beaten up.

"Hey, Student Olivia, please don't waste it! Its pus has extremely high value and can treat stubborn acne. If Madam Pomfrey sees you wasting it like this, she will definitely be furious." Professor Sprout admonished.

"Su Yu, have you heard?" In the evening, Hermione and Ginny came to the Slytherin Common Room to tell Su Yuabout what had happened in the past two days, "There was a Hufflepuff girl who actually used a spell to get rid of her acne! Oh my god..."

"Yes, but she didn't succeed because she removed her nose instead... In the end, Madam Pomfrey had to reattach her nose."

"That's so terrifying!"

"Where did you all hear that?"

"It was Hannah Abbott, that Hufflepuff girl, who told us!"

"Yes, she also said the injured girl's name was Eloise Midgen."

"Poor child, she almost turned into Professor Moody..."

Chapter 128: Professor Moody's Defense Against the Dark Arts Class (I)

During Thursday's Potion Class.

"Boom!"

Callis was blown away.

Blaise, his face covered in soot, leaped up to catch the unconscious Callis. The two of them had just been working together to brew a cauldron of Potion, but Callis had gotten confused and added the wrong ingredient, causing the cauldron to explode.

"Callis! Callis! Wake up!" Blaise was still shouting.

"Let me handle this, Blaise." Daphne took the unconscious Callis from Blaise's arms, and Kurama seized the opportunity to jump off Daphne's shoulder, placing her little paw on Callis's forehead. Before long, Callis slowly woke up.

"Merlin's beard!"

"I feel like I had a nightmare!"

"I dreamed that we were in Potion Class, and Blaise was brewing a Potion next to me when it suddenly exploded! That was so terrifying!"

"My dear, is there a possibility that it wasn't a dream?" Daphne shifted her gaze aside, revealing Blaise, whose face was completely black with soot.

"So, what is it now? Oh my god, Blaise, your face is so black!"

"Miss Selwyn, Mr. Zabini, the two of you come to my office after class! Also, one point from Slytherin!" Professor Snape stared at them with a dark face.

However, what Harry found unprecedented was that Neville hadn't made a single mistake in this class. You heard that right; his calm and composed demeanor caused Professor Snape, who usually held a grudge, to unexpectedly award Gryffindor one point! Although it was only one point...

For the afternoon's Defense Against the Dark Arts Class, many students were lining up outside early to wait for the class. Only Hermione, along with Su Yu and Daphne, arrived late, just before class started, and sat casually in the back row, waiting for the renowned Professor Moodyto arrive.

The Slytherin students were particularly interested in Professor Moody's wooden leg—or more accurately, the sharp claw attached to it. Malfoy and his friends felt that if it were replaced with iron, the lethality would be increased to a new level, while Blaise thought it would be better to attach it to an arm so that one could cast spells from a distance at any time and directly claw the opponent to death at close range.

"Put your textbooks away!" Professor Moody limped up to the podium, leaning on his cane. "In my class, you won't need these things."

Then he took out the roll call sheet and scrutinized everyone present like a prisoner, his magical eye rotating back and forth, staring at every student he called upon.

"Very good, it seems you are in a good mood today. I have read the letter written specifically by Professor Lupin, and I also understand what you learned last year. But you are already in your fourth year! And you only learned a little bit about dealing with magical creatures? That won't do. What you should be learning is how to deal with Dark Wizards! I will spend this year teaching you how to deal with those Dark Wizards!"

Professor Moody spoke in a somewhat gruff voice, his white hair flowing, and from time to time, he revealed his face, which was full of scars, looking quite terrifying.

"What? What did you say?" Ron felt it was unbelievable. Is this something that can be taught?

Professor Moody just stared at Ron, almost scaring him to the point of peeing himself, and he didn't dare to make another sound.

However, a trace of a smile appeared on ProfessorMoody's face next, but combined with the scars on his face, it made the students feel a sense of incongruous weirdness, though Ron breathed a sigh of relief.

"You must be Ron Weasley, right? Arthur's son. I really have to thank your father for helping me out with that big problem a few days ago. However, I promised Headmaster Dumbledore that I would only help him for this year! Then I will return to my retirement life."

Then, Professor Moody began to introduce spells. He was right; if you want to overcome fear, you must first face it. Otherwise, if you haven't even seen it, how can you defend against it? And how can you defeat it?

However, the Slytherin students were listening and feeling drowsy. It's just Dark Arts, as if anyone couldn't use it. They, the Slytherin students, had killed thousands of times over, a group of people whose throats were dry from shouting "Avada Kedavra". However, there was one thing they really didn't understand: even though they could all cast spells silently, they still liked to shout them out involuntarily when using them. How strange.

"Alright, back to the subject. Among you, who knows about the three Unforgivable Curses?" Professor Moody scanned the Gryffindor students from above.

"I heard my father talk about one, I think it's called the Imperio, right, Professor Moody?" Ron spoke up first.

"Very good, your father certainly knows this one." Professor Moody took out a glass bottle, poured out the spider inside, placed it in his palm, and then shouted, "Imperio!"

Then the spider, as if controlled, became a puppet and danced in Professor Moody's hand, causing the Gryffindorstudents to laugh out loud, while only the Slytherinstudents watched this scene with boredom.

"Do you think this is fun? Laughing so loudly, is this a funny thing?" Professor Moody said with a cold face. "If I replaced the spider I'm controlling with you, what would you do then? I could control your life and death, make you do whatever I want, or even kill the people you love most. Would you still be able to laugh?"

All the Gryffindor students couldn't laugh anymore.

"A dozen years ago, I still remember that time. The Ministry of Magic was kept very busy because many Wizards were controlled by the Imperio. Do you know how many people died back then just to distinguish whether they were doing it intentionally or not?"

"The Imperio can be resisted by one's own strong will. I came here to tell you the method, but not everyone is that lucky. Therefore, the best way is to always stay vigilant and try your best to avoid being hit by it!" Professor Moodytaught very earnestly, and Su Yu admired him, just not knowing if the original person would also be like this, teaching so brilliantly. After all, Barty was one of the few talents at Hogwarts to get 12 O's; it was truly a waste of talent to become a Death Eater.

"Does anyone else know any other spells? Anyone else?"

"I... I know one!" Neville stood up at this moment. At the beginning, he was still a bit nervous, but he turned his head to look at Su Yu, and then, with a firm face, he stood up. "Crucio! Su Yu told me about it, and he was the one who cured my parents!"

Professor Moody looked at Su Yu in surprise, as if a bit incredulous, then lowered his head and flipped through the roll call sheet. "Oh, your name is Longbottom, am I right?"

"Yes," Neville nodded vigorously, clenching his fists.

Professor Moody turned around, took out another bottle, and poured out a spider. "Engorgement Charm!"

Then the spider began to grow larger. Ron and Su Yu had already started to step back. Daphne pulled Su Yu; she was afraid that if Su Yu got anxious, he would kill the fake Professor Moody in the first class, and that would be a huge disaster.

Professor Moody, courting death, raised his wand. "Crucio!"

The spider immediately began to convulse, its eight legs curling up together, struggling in pain. All the Gryffindorstudents couldn't bear to watch; they felt the spider was in too much pain and couldn't bear it.

Chapter 129 Professor Moody (Thanks to Wudang Mountain's Yi Zizai for the support! Thanks)

However, this time Hermione did not step forward. First, she had killed quite a few Acromantulas herself, which was beside the point. Mainly, just based on the fact that Su Yu was afraid of spiders, she felt those spiders didn't die unjustly; she just wasn't as extreme as Cassandra and Farley, going so far as to wipe out their entire nest.

Neville did not feel fear this time either; he kept his eyes fixed on that spider, with only flames of revenge in his heart.

The Slytherin students laughed out loud. "Is this it? Is this all the Death Eaters have? They don't even know how to torture people, just using Crucio, and they're smugly calling it one of the three Unforgivable Curses?"

"If they happened to run into the Chief at night and he told them about the ancient Eastern tortures, wouldn't they be scared to death? And if you listened to him talk about the Eighteen Levels of Hell, wouldn't those Death Eaters think Hell and Heaven are about the same?"

"Is it very funny? You bunch of Slytherin lunatics?" Professor Moody looked at Malfoy and the others angrily.

"Uh, we didn't mean to mock you..."

"Idiot, you said what you were thinking out loud!" Pansyhurriedly reminded Malfoy.

"Oh, I misspoke, Professor Moody, we didn't find it funny..."

"Fine, I'm willing to believe you. But if you find it funny, tell me, if you were Death Eaters, how would you torture those people?"

"That's simple. Catch their family, perform Lingchi on them in front of him, then find a healer to heal them while cutting, and make him eat the flesh that's cut off!" Blaisewas the first to stand up and offer his opinion.

All the Gryffindor students stepped back simultaneously, keeping their distance from this pervert. Su Yu felt that things were going badly; he felt his reputation for the day was going to be ruined!

Sure enough, Malfoy continued, "I don't think that's very good. What would you do if you encountered someone like Liu Bang, as the Chief described?"

"So, we should set up a live stream, one where people can donate. Let all the Wizards vote. Put a metal plate under him and light a fire underneath. The less donated, the bigger the fire. That way, you can make money, have fun, and it's even more shocking. Isn't that a win-win?"

Then the Slytherin students below started arguing, saying Malfoy's way was too humane. The Gryffindor students had already huddled together by this time, looking in horror at Malfoy and the others who were about to start fighting. Were these really students in their same year? What was Lord Voldemort, anyway? No, it should be said that the people in front of them were true beasts, a group of living beasts.

Even Professor Moody didn't know what to say at this moment. He suddenly felt that in front of this group of Slytherin students, he was like a raw recruit, and everything he had done before was just playing house. People, at least, shouldn't be like this, right?

"Enough! You bunch of evil Slytherins! Are you still nobles? Are you worthy of this honor?" Professor Moody was almost going crazy.

"Oh, precisely because we are nobles, we do things this way, don't we?"

"That's right, should we be so merciful to those low-borns?"

"Ahem, who are you calling low-born? Blaise?"

"Oh, my dear, I wasn't talking about you."

"Slytherin will be great again!" Someone in the crowd shouted.

"For the glory of Slytherin!" Everyone shouted in unison, their eyes gleaming, "Chief Su Yu is the one everyone wants!"

"Let's kill Dumbledore together!"

Su Yu was already helplessly holding his forehead. Crabbeand Goyle were shouting the loudest; neither of them knew what it meant, they were just competing to see who had the loudest voice. They felt that shouting like this made them feel full of energy!

"Clang," the door was pushed open from the outside, and Professor McGonagall walked in with a dark face. "Slytherin, ten points from! And, don't let me hear your slogans again! Especially when I'm lecturing! Now even the Slytherin students in our class have started shouting it; it's all the bad example you set!"

A perfectly good class was ruined by this group of Slytherin students. This also led to the fact that, in the end, Professor Moody didn't use the Avada Kedavra, because Malfoy, who was already hyped up, performed for everyone on the spot, turning that enlarged spider into a cockroach, then flew over and stomped it directly into mud. This was much more effective than the Avada Kedavra.

Blaise wasn't to be outdone. With a flick of his wand, and to Professor Moody's astonished gaze, another spider started bleeding from all seven orifices, and with a "bang," it burst open, turning into a mist of blood that couldn't be saved.

"Class dismissed!" Professor Moody shouted angrily from the podium.

"Tch," the Slytherin students reluctantly packed up their textbooks, preparing to leave. They felt Professor Moodywas jealous of their talent. Sure enough, jealousy makes people lose their looks.

Su Yu didn't care about these things Slytherin students did. Everyone had to have their own thoughts. He wasn't at Hogwarts to train death squads. Let them make trouble, as long as they didn't kill anyone casually. If anyone went down the wrong path, there would be other Slytherinstudents to educate them.

"So, is this why you've deducted 156 points from the House Cup in your first week of school?"

On Saturday morning, Cassandra called everyone to the Great Hall, including Su Yu. He was also sitting obediently and properly at this moment, facing Cassandra, who was almost furious.

"We don't care about points, but the other three houses at least have positive scores!"

"You guys, on the other hand, deducted over a hundred points in the first week! What are you trying to do? Rebel?"

"Are we going to rebel?"

"Idiot, Cassandra is talking about eating!"

Crabbe and Goyle whispered below.

"You two idiots! Get out first!" Cassandra was really going crazy.

The two blockheads walked out with their heads down, then went to eat breakfast. Neither of them understood why they weren't allowed to attend such an important meeting; maybe she was afraid they would leak secrets?

Cassandra lectured them for an entire morning. When Su Yu led them to the Great Hall to eat, everyone was in a dazed, out-of-body state. They wouldn't make mistakes again; an angry Cassandra was truly terrifying.

(As an aside, Barty is really the most qualified Defense Against the Dark Arts Class teacher. In the original work, you really couldn't tell at all that he was an impostor. His guidance to students in class, his concern for Neville after class, and even praising him—sometimes I think, even if the real Professor Moody came, he couldn't do as well as Barty, right? But then I think again, Barty was one of those who caused harm to Neville's parents. Is this another kind of irony? However, it must be said that if Barty hadn't joined Lord Voldemort, but instead became a teacher, how excellent would he have been? Professor McGonagall, Professor Snape would all have to step aside, even Professor Lupin couldn't compare to him. His excellent grades—really, it was a waste for him to be a Death Eater. It feels like a top 985 Ph.D. student, the kind who gets recommended for admission, and when graduating, the Chinese Academy of Sciences sends an invitation, but then he turns around and becomes a thug, fighting on the streets every day...)

Chapter 130: Divination Class

Isolde's Divination Class was certainly much more interesting.

She had learned many forms of divination from Grindelwald. In the first lesson, she demonstrated the most popular medieval European wax divination, followed by the 12th-century European court geomancy, which involved randomly drawing 16 dots, forming four groups, and interpreting them according to the hexagrams.

Next, Isolde performed the ancient Roman official letter divination, which involved a rooster pecking at rice, using "rooster speak" to divine. There was also Nordic Rune divination, Druidic Ogham divination, and the Roman Senate's exclusive visceral divination, all of which opened the students' eyes.

Ron and Harry exclaimed that this was a true master; it was like magic tricks. Isolde dismissively said this was nothing, and that she would borrow Professor Graves's skull hookah another day to let everyone truly see what divination was all about.

Of course, although Isolde was Su Yu's secretary, the boss still had to do his homework.

In the evening, in the Slytherin Common Room, Kurama lay on the table, diligently writing her Divination Classhomework, occasionally shaking the longevity lock on her neck, making a clinking sound.

Hermione was writing her essay while talking to Su Yu, who was about to fall asleep.

"Today Harry received a Howler, written by Sirius Black, saying he was bored to death at home and wanted to accompany Harry to school." At this point, the girls laughed. "Black said he wanted to accompany Harry in the form of a big dog because he couldn't stop worrying about Harry. Harry hurriedly wrote back to persuade him not to mess around, saying he could take care of himself at school."

This was probably the life Harry wanted most, right? Su Yuthought to himself.

Over the next few weeks, Neville received gifts from his family almost every few days: homemade cakes and various pastries from his mother, and a firebolt and miscellaneous gadgets from his father. Neville carefully put them away each time and then smiled at every day!

Professor Moody's Defense Against the Dark Arts Classwas becoming increasingly profound. Moreover, to give the students training, Professor Moody actually let them experience the feeling of Imperio!

Every student had to be subjected to Imperio by ProfessorMoody and then use their own willpower to resist it.

What does it feel like to be under Imperio? Simply put, you become a capybara with an empty brain. At this moment, an angel appears on your shoulder, telling you what to do, and you just do it. You don't know why you have to do it, but it doesn't matter anyway, right? She has spoken, so it doesn't matter.

Ron was like this; his resistance was very low, which could be seen from the Quidditch World Cup match. Master Malfoy was different; when he was hit, it was purely because... well, Veela are very dangerous to an innocent young boy, aren't they?

It was very different when Slytherin students were hit by Imperio because, although they also turned into capybaras with empty brains, they didn't just have an angel on their shoulder; they also had a demon standing on their head.

"Listen, you should do this, my dear." The angel kept coaxing.

"Slap!" The demon backhanded the angel twice.

"Bullshit, why should I listen to you? Who do you think you are?" The demon roared wildly.

In Professor Hagrid's class, it was finally no longer Blast-Ended Skrewts. He had someone bring a batch of Nifflers and Bowtruckles, and his class immediately became a hit. Those girls wished they could live in Hagrid's hut and not come back. After all, who could resist such cute Nifflerbabies?

However, it was easy to lose things in Hagrid's class, especially for Slytherin students. Their Kurama badges, rings, earrings, and necklaces would often disappear during class. Every time class ended, they had to line up to claim their belongings.

The announcement for the Eight-Wizard Tournament was finally posted. The representatives from the eight schools would arrive at Hogwarts School on October 30th, which was Friday, at 6:00 PM. Classes that day would end half an hour early, and everyone would go to the Great Hall to welcome the "friends" who had traveled from afar.

After the Professors and students of the various schools expressed their opinions, the final decision was that, except for Slytherin, each school would select two people—of course, by voting—and then the goblet of fire would make the final selection. Then, the remaining fourteen spots would be decided by Slytherin itself through internal elections to choose who would participate.

The other seven schools would each bring 20 students, all around sixteen or seventeen years old (I won't say the grade because the Japanese Mahoutokoro School of Magichas a ten-year system...), led by their Principal.

In the days that followed, the ancient Castle shed its usual leisurely atmosphere and was immersed in a busy vibe. The Eight-Wizard Tournament was about to begin, and the teachers and students from other schools would arrive soon. The entire school of Hogwarts took action to prepare for the guests from afar.

In the corridors of the Castle, busy figures waving wands could be seen everywhere. Students worked in pairs, each doing their part, reciting cleaning spells to wipe away dust accumulated in the crevices of the walls. Fallen dead leaves were swept up by magic and neatly gathered in corners.

The marble floor was polished bright by magic, reflecting the swaying candlelight from the dome, and the once mottled stone steps were also cleaned up.

The common rooms, classrooms, and Great Hall were the key areas for cleaning. In the spacious Great Hall, tables and chairs were arranged neatly, the floating silver plates were polished until they gleamed, and the magical light simulating the starry sky on the ceiling was carefully adjusted, becoming even more brilliant and dreamy.

House-elves shuttled back and forth, nimbly wiping goblets, organizing curtains, and putting away miscellaneous items in the corners. Even the armor on both sides of the corridor was polished until it gleamed, with lubricant applied as if it were free, so they would never make a clicking sound again.

When the time came to October 30th, the entire Great Halllooked brand new. The emblems and flags of each school hung all over the hall, fluttering in the wind. Every student was wearing a brand-new Wizard robe, and their leather shoes were polished until they gleamed.

Fred and George complained about why Slytherin had fourteen spots while their Gryffindor only had two. It would be fine if both of them were selected or neither was selected, but the fear was that one would be selected while the other wasn't. They had fought several times over this these past few days. It really is a case of fearing your brother will struggle, yet also fearing he'll outshine you.

Chapter 131: The Seven Great Schools (I) (Thanks to "Love Eating Scallion Pancake's Big Surprise" for powering with love!)

"Mr. Weasley, please straighten your hat, would you?"

In the afternoon, Professor McGonagall stood at the entrance of the Great Hall, inspecting the students lining up one by one.

"Miss Patil, could you please remove that ridiculous thing from your hair? Thank you."

Patil was full of resistance to Professor McGonagall's request to take off the butterfly headpiece on her head that was as big as a head!

"Alright, all students, follow me!" After Professor McGonagall had checked everyone, she spoke to the group, "Line up, everyone! First-years in the front! Do not crowd! I am talking to you two, Goyle and Crabbe! Why do you two insist on squeezing to the front! Sean Foley? Student Sean Foley? Please keep your team in order! Today, only your Slytherin is the most lax!"

"I understand, Professor McGonagall... I will keep them in order. You should smile more; frowning all the time will cause wrinkles..."

Su Yu walked out lazily. Truly, like leader, like subordinate. Malfoy and the others looked down on everyone, dragging themselves around like they were something special, completely lacking organization and discipline. Actually, this couldn't be blamed on them; they just equally looked down on everyone.

"Damn! Why do we have to wait here for them for half an hour? Just because they haven't arrived yet, they're already giving us a hard time?"

Blaise complained with dissatisfaction.

"So, when the time comes, shall we just kill everyone from the last school to arrive?" Callis said, enjoying the chaos.

"You are being a bit extreme, Miss Callis."

Headmaster Dumbledore suddenly appeared beside Callis, giving the two of them a big fright.

"Hmm, if I am not mistaken, the first school has already arrived."

Headmaster Dumbledore spoke slowly.

"Where? Where is it?" Many students began to look around, while the Slytherin students turned in unison towards the direction of the Forbidden Forest.

A... a behemoth, pulled by twelve tall flying horses, slowly approached. The silver-winged flying horses with vigorous postures stretched their wings. Behind them was a luxurious pink-blue carriage with gilded carvings, as big as a house. The carriage was surrounded by a rich, sweet floral fragrance, and delicate patterns shimmered in the evening breeze. The hooves stepped across the clouds without a hint of noise, landing steadily in the center of the lawn, elegant and dignified.

The students in the first three rows were so scared they couldn't help but want to retreat. It was just too big; even a single hoof was as big as a basin.

(There are four types of flying horses in Harry Potter: Abraxan, Aethon, Granian, and the rare Thestral. The white horses here are Abraxan, as big as elephants, but the rarest and most valuable are Thestrals.)

The carriage door opened, and an elegant lady wearing a light blue robe jumped down, bent over, and opened the golden steps on the carriage, respectfully welcoming someone's arrival.

Then, a colorful black high-heeled shoe stretched out, causing the Hogwarts students to gasp again, because that high-heeled shoe was like a small sled, so big, so big.

"Wow, why is Hagrid wearing high heels?" Malfoy said in confusion.

"Idiot! Not all Giants are named Hagrid!" Pansy was already unable to complain about her young master.

A woman as tall as Hagrid had already walked out of the carriage, with a sharp nose, big watery eyes, a black dress, and covered in gold and silver.

Headmaster Dumbledore had already begun to take the lead in applauding, and the students who had reacted also began to welcome the guests from afar.

"Oh, my dear Madame Maxime," Headmaster Dumbledorekissed her hand, "Welcome to Hogwarts."

"I hope you are well, Headmaster Dumbledore."

Madame Maxime spoke in a low voice. She pointed to the twenty beautiful girls behind her, "My students."

At this moment, almost all the Hogwarts students were captivated by the many girls behind Madame Maxime.

They wore exquisite light blue silk, white scarves, surrounded by various magic butterflies, black silk stockings paired with high heels, walking gracefully.

"I finally know why Isolde always dresses like that..." Cassandra and Farley looked at this group of "little b*tches" with dissatisfaction and snorted.

"Has Karkaroff arrived?" Madame Maxime asked Headmaster Dumbledore.

"I think he has arrived as well. Would you like to wait here with us to welcome him? Or would you prefer to wait for them in the Great Hall?"

"Forget it, let's go inside first." Madame Maxime led this group of beautiful girls into the Great Hall.

"By the way, these horses..."

"We have a great magical creature caretaker; he will be able to take good care of these horses." Headmaster Dumbledore said casually.

"No, I mean, these horses have a very fiery temper, and also, they only drink single-malt whiskey. I'll trouble you."

"Hagrid will take good care of them; I will give instructions."

Just at this moment, a low horn sound came from the Black Lake. A vortex appeared in the very center of the Black Lake, and the water surface raised huge waves, constantly hitting the lake shore.

A black mast stretched out of the lake, and then, a Giantobject like a ghost ship rushed out of the water and stopped steadily in the shallow water area. The whole ship was very dilapidated and emitted an eerie green light, with wisps of white mist rising. With a "pop," a wooden plank extended and rested on the shore.

A group of tall, burly men knocked on the long wooden sticks in their hands and walked over slowly.

"Su Yu, look quickly, they are almost dancing their walking sticks into flowers! And they keep spitting sparks!" Hermione pulled Su Yu's arm, curiously examining this group of strange people wearing fur cloaks.

The person at the head spoke first, "Dumbledore! My dear old friend! How have you been recently!"

"I am very well, Headmaster Karkaroff. Hogwarts Schoolwelcomes your arrival."

"Viktor! Come here quickly, this is Headmaster Dumbledore. Oh, Viktor has a bit of a cold, let's go in and warm up quickly! You wouldn't mind, would you, Dumbledore?"

Karkaroff didn't take Dumbledore and Hogwarts seriously at all.

"Oh, my God! It's Krum!" Ron and a large group of Hogwarts students looked excitedly at the man standing behind Karkaroff, cheering and wanting an autograph.

"Sometimes I really don't understand, isn't he just a Quidditch player? Is it necessary to be so excited?" Hermione looked at the crazy students around her, somewhat speechless.

"Er... I don't really understand either. Maybe it's because neither of us is interested in Quidditch matches?" Su Yurubbed his nose. He didn't understand it either; he hadn't even figured out the celebrities and sports stars of his previous life. However, looking at the students from these three schools, he suddenly thought of three words: art, sports, and vocational school...

After the people from Durmstrang Institute all walked into the Great Hall, the clouds in the distance suddenly dispersed, and a huge airship cut through the clouds, flying over slowly.

Ilvermorny School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, located in the United States, they had arrived.

Chapter 132: The Seven Great Schools (II)

The airship from Ilvermorny School of Witchcraft and Wizardry was formed from the wings of magical birds. The entire vessel resembled the outstretched body of a bird, its pearlescent wings gleaming under the daylight. Wind magic steadily supported the massive hull as it crossed the vast ocean.

"Seraphina Picquery, long time no see!"

"Dumbledore, how have you been? It is a great honor to be invited by you this time. Our students have always had a wish, which is to visit Hogwarts School. This time, they have finally had their wish fulfilled."

Headmaster Seraphina Picquery held Dumbledore's hand and spoke warmly.

"Ilvermorny School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, the only official magic school in North America, was founded around the 17th century by Isolt Sayre. I heard she was a direct descendant of Salazar Slytherin. Like us, their school is also divided into four houses: Thunderbird, Horned Serpent, Pukwudgie, and Wampus. The sorting process is also quite similar, though they don't have a Sorting Hat. Instead, four statues come to life and choose the students for their respective houses."

Cassandra flipped through the intelligence reports while explaining to Su Yu and the others nearby.

Then, from the direction of the Forbidden Forest, across the open wilderness, an ancient flying beast of massive size, its wings covered in colorful totems, carried a stone platform carved with ancient runes. The teachers and students of Uagadou School of magic stood on the stone platform, crossing the continent accompanied by the long winds of the wilderness, bringing with them an aura that was both ancient and mysterious.

"Uagadou School of magic, Headmaster Asante Boakye, is located in the Mountains of the Moon in Uganda, Africa. It is the largest school in the entire magic world and has the most students. The school's education leans towards nature, wildness, and wandless magic. They usually cast spells using only gestures, and students generally know Transfiguration."

Cassandra looked at the group of students descending, dressed in lightweight white robes with deep brown, gold, and green accents, and began to speak.

"Hmm, shall we go out?" Su Yu suddenly interjected.

"????" Everyone suddenly looked at Su Yu.

The temperature in the north suddenly began to drop, and a cold chill rushed forward, almost freezing Durmstrang Institute's ghost ship on the Black Lake.

The ice-sealed sled team from Koldovstoretz in Damao arrived, stepping through the air. The giant sled, carved from a single piece of cold ice, had sharp, biting edges. Herds of snow-white ice-domain magic deer pulled it with heads held high. Wherever they passed, the air condensed into tiny ice crystals. The chill, carrying the scent of wind and snow, descended, fully displaying the cold, harsh power of polar magic.

"Koldovstoretz School of magic, Headmaster Vladimir Volonov, is located deep in the Siberian forests of Damao. Founded in the 12th century, it is one of the oldest magicschools in Eastern Europe. I heard that the students there are extremely skilled at wilderness survival and dueling, and they like to use ice magic. By the way, I heard they play Quidditch while riding on trees. I don't know if that's true."

"What? Riding trees? Playing Quidditch? Are they that fierce?" Hermione was a bit surprised. This was much fiercer than that group from Durmstrang Institute.

As a giant boat woven from thousand-year-old rainforest vines slowly approached, the ice on the Black Lakegradually dissipated. The giant boat was entwined with fresh, blooming exotic flowers and plants. Natural magiclifted the hull as it sailed through the air. The fragrance of plants drifted with the wind, and branches and leaves swayed gently, carrying the unique vitality and wildness of the tropical rainforest, before it docked steadily along the shore of the Black Lake.

"This is the Castelobruxo School of magic located in Brazil. The headmaster is Cecilia Silva. It is located in a golden stone temple deep in the Amazon rainforest. I heard their students can live in harmony with all kinds of magical creatures, and their Herbology is top-notch globally. It's somewhat similar to the Wu Xing Shen family from your Eastern Great Land, proficient in Magizoology and healing magic."

The only one left to arrive was the Japanese Mahoutokoro School of Magic. Everyone waited for another half hour or so. Just as all the students were getting impatient, thin clouds suddenly appeared in a corner of the sky, and a torii gate flickered in and out of sight (if you don't know what a torii is, you know what a god's gate is, right? It's that thing...). The team from Japan's Mahoutokoro School of Magic arrived silently. An ancient and elegant wooden mikoshi was wrapped in the power of a barrier. Utilizing a unique spatial teleportation technique from the Eastern Great Land, twenty students carried it, instantly crossing ten thousand miles of mountains and seas. Amidst the churning clouds, the mikoshi appeared quietly.

"Pah!" Kurama spat. Su Yu tapped her on the head, saying that girls were not allowed to spit randomly.

"Callis, what did you say at the beginning?" Su Yu asked.

"What did I say?" Callis had forgotten what she had said herself; she talked too much.

"Of course, it was to kill them all! Who told them to be the last to arrive!" Kurama laughed sinisterly.

"Mahoutokoro School of Magic, Headmaster Headmaster Mochizuki Seigen, is located on Minami Iwo Jima. It is a palace complex built of suet jade, which was mostly destroyed by your grandfather back in the day. It is the smallest school in the entire magic world and has the fewest students. Founded around the 10th century, they specialize in summoning shikigami, elemental charms, and potioneering. Students must enroll at seven years old. Interestingly, I heard their robes change color; when someone violates school rules or the rules of Wizards, the robes turn white."

"Oh, that's very interesting. None of the students who came this time are wearing robes. Does that mean all the ones who came are mongrels?" Su Yu stared fixedly at the Japanese students in front of him.

"It's very possible, so we must be careful. Let's see if we have a chance to just kill them off." Cassandra continued.

When Su Yu and the others returned to the Great Hall, many students were surrounding the Durmstrang Institutegroup. A few Gryffindor female students even took out lipstick, wanting Krum to sign his name on their shoulders.

"This is simply absurd!" Hermione looked at those students.

"It's very normal. There are even more of them among Muggles." Su Yu pulled Hermione over, not letting her continue watching.

The students from Beauxbatons and Castelobruxo sat at the Ravenclaw table. The students from Durmstrang Institute and Koldovstoretz sat at the Slytherin side. The students from Ilvermorny sat at the Gryffindor long table, and the remaining students from Uagadou and Mahoutokoro School of Magic sat at the Hufflepuff side.

Ron looked disappointedly at Krum, who was sitting with Malfoy and the others. He also wanted to sit next to him and get an autograph, but the Slytherin students were very aloof this time. If it weren't for the sake of the guests, they would have already pointed their wands at their heads and made them squat in the corner. How dare they sit at the same table as them? Who gave them the courage? A bunch of ignorant country bumpkins.

Immediately after, Headmaster Dumbledore and the other school headmasters walked in and sat at the guest of honor table above. Under Headmaster Dumbledore's passionate speech, everyone began today's dinner.
