The glowing barrier wrapped around him, and he froze in place.
By the time he realized what was happening—

Xiao Se smiled warmly, storing the Magic Sword into his body.
"Okay. Big brother, be careful."
Hong Kui nodded sweetly and dissolved into a streak of red light, slipping back into the sword's seal.
Xiao Se's expression sharpened as he looked at the immobilized Tang Ritian.
Purple wings shot open, launching him into the sky.
He ascended to a height over thirty meters behind Tang Ritian.
He swallowed a Purple Flame Pill.
His left hand summoned the Green Lotus Core Flame.
His right hand summoned Violet Flame.
He slowly brought his palms together—stopping just twenty centimeters apart.
Between them, a palm-sized lotus of pure, crystalline fire emerged—
half cyan, half violet—
spinning gracefully, yet radiating terrifying power.
Under Xiao Se's precise control, the fire lotus stabilized.
"Go—
Buddha's Fury Fire Lotus!"
He thrust his palms forward.
The lotus shot downward toward Tang Ritian.
