Synopsis
"Don't abuse the weak, protect those who asks you, don't make them plead" those were the last words that rang in Vojislav Dave heard' ears as he walks away from his father's grave. Followed him behind was his precious wife, Eleanor. Her soothing voice comforted him. After his mother, followed by the death of his father--Vojislav Dave heard, a knight's son in the beautiful village of Ruthenia, Ukraine, he and his wife's love story were widespread as one of the most tragic tales in history. On September of 1003 BCE, the supposed Byzantine raid on his village--massacred his people. The raid left a broken and a burning Ruthenia. The byzantine soldiers were ruthless--setting houses on fire, assaulting women, beating the elderly and stripping children away from thier land and shipping them off as Slaves. Vojislav and his wife were abducted in the raid and were shipped off to Byzantium--the capital of Anatolia. There, Slav was put in the emperor's army as a knight--where Eleanor's fate seemed uncertain at first. Since she was a woman and a slave--her fate was divided into 2 paths. - being sold to the tavern Or sold to the imperial palace for the prince's pleasure. Eleanor was a modest woman, though fate seemed to be the opposite for her--and soon she was admitted into the imperial palace. Where she learned to survive the deadly political intrigues of the concubines. The day she stepped foot in their--she sensed the brewing enmity between her and them--since the prince made her his most favored concubine. Would she bend to her fate? Would she be united with her husband? Now, that's worth a chapter!!

Chapter 1 - Synopsis

it was 1003 BCE in a small village called Ruthenia in Poland.

Vojislav Dave heard--A tale of a ruthenian born boy turned man was widespread across the lands of eastern Europe.

Who won the Byzantine emperor Agustus favor through his willpower, sheer dedication and his statesmanship. He was given the name Julius--Which is linked to the name Jupiter, a name that was stitched into his personality, strength, authority, leadership. 

--Years ago, he was abducted along his lover Elenor petronella and was shipped off as a slave to Byzantium. Vojislav Dave heard soon was taken into the emperor's royal army as he went through rigorous practices. All that to please the very man who wiped off his life which had been like a fairy tale.

Though Eleanor's face seemed uncertain, as she was a woman and a slave. Though at this very period where there will be the emerging of another character--A man, her protector, The emperor's very own son--Flaytus Agustus Filius--A name that is enough to make men tremble.

Flaytus--A man of his words, took an oath years ago--To fulfill it he had to free a slave--Although it could have been anyone--Not to him. At least it was like that until he met Eleanor.

At her effortless elegance and innocent smile--At how frail she seemed when she clung to him. 

He fell first--And harder for a woman who was already claimed by the very man he despised.

Julius Stefanos and Flaytus locked eyes--Anyone would smell the brewing enmity between the two men even from100 yards away.
