Chapter 119 - Meeting the Asgard; Yoink

New Power Stone Goal! : 326/500 (For an extra chapter)

I opened a poll on my discord that has asked: 'Would Drecarios having kids be off-putting for the story?'... I would like to expand that into the comments section of this chapter and get all of your opinions as well...

On my first fan fiction I went overboard with the whole children thing and it really killed it for me, so I want you all to chip in and tell me what you would find acceptable for Drecarios' relations and the existence of children in future.

Anyway! Please enjoy...!

"I'M FreEeEeEeEeEeEeEeEeeee!!!"

Another meme popped up in the middle of the world council meeting just as Fury was opening a PowerPoint slide. It repeated multiple times whilst the director of Shield rubbed the bridge of his nose in vexation.

"What is the meaning of this dire-" A world council member was interrupted as another meme suddenly blared out. "I did not hit her, it's not true. It's bullshit, I did not hit her... I deed not. Oh, hi Mark~!" The room went utterly silent for several moments before the American representative started snickering into his hands whilst the rest of the chamber remained utterly silent.

Fury was glaring at the American diplomat before the memes disappeared once again, Shield's systems rebooting and refreshing for the hundredth time today. The computer glitched back to the power point and Fury began explaining the contents of the slide, as if he hadn't been interrupted at all...

Every single member of the council was starting to get interested in the information being conveyed, seriousness and decorum returning to their halls of power. This remained true for another ten minutes as they all discussed the topics on the slide, and then Fury went to the next slide and another meme broke out of containment.

"About to beat my meat, Drudrudrudruu! About to beat my meat, Drudrudrudruu!" Before anyone could ask what the fuck was going on another meme started playing.

"I said, whoever threw that paper... Your mom's a hoe!", followed by...

"Do you know, the muffin man?"

"The muffin man?"

"The muffin man."

"Yes I know the muffin man."

"DIRECTOR WHAT IS THE MEANING OF THESE INTERRUPTIONS!!?!?!?" The representative from China yelled out in pure anger and irritation.

"I'm very sorry representative Xing, Shield has been held under a sustained cyber attack for the entirety of the day and it only seems to be getting worse." Fury did his best to speak in a more diplomatic tone of voice.

"PUSSED OUT LIKE A BITCH!" The sound of Alucard from Hellsing Abridged carried out as another meme soon started playing right afterwards. "Why the fuck you lyin? Why you always lyin...? Ooooh my gawwwd...! Stop fuckin lyin!!!"

"I hate my life." Fury whispered as the entire council broke into chaos.

And as everyone descended into arguments and calls for Fury to be replaced the American representative broke down into guffaws as more and more memes started swarming into the meeting... He hadn't had this level of fun in years!

"The muffin man!" Was the last echo heard inside that meeting before members started leaving, Fury watching as the influence of Shield was lowered in the eyes of their 'leaders'.

Meanwhile, with the father of the AI who was ruining Shield...

"Cool, so you are planning on helping the Asgardians with their genetic issues... That makes sense as to why you would use a miniature fusion reactor to power the gate temporarily." I reiterated what he was doing so my ladies could understand what was going on.

"Yep! Hopefully I'll be back in time for the Simpsons." O'Neill wishfully said as he attached his fusion reactor to the base's power supply, the entire board sparking with energy until a rhythmic thrumming echoed from deeper inside the base; the gate room if I were to estimate outcomes.

"Oh, you pre-set coordinates?"

"Mhm, now... Are you guys wanting to come or am I going solo...?" He looked at me and Anna first before looking towards his team and Barriss before looking at me once again.

I shrugged. "Sure, why not? I could get some tech from this." Anna and Barriss nodding along with me as they both held my hands.

"Colonel you need General Hammond's approval..." Samantha tried to remind the man but he simply waved her off, closing the electrical panel and swaggering out of the sectioned off room. Daniel and Teal'c started following after him whilst we just hung in the back, watching the chaos of SG1 unfold.

Our large, obnoxious, group eventually stumbled into the gate room just as the final chevron locked into place and the wormhole whooshed out and snapped back into a still, circular, portal.

"Colonel O'Neill I command you to stand down." General Hammond ordered as soldiers started pouring into the room, their rifles held but pointed down towards the floor.

"Tsk." O'Neill smacked his tongue against the top of his mouth before simply ignoring them and walking to Stargate, several of the soldiers raising their rifles in readiness.

"I ORDER YOU TO STAND DOWN COLONEL!" The general thundered.

"Look, I'm about to go get us an ally that can help us with the snakes, just give me a minute!" O'Neill snapped before running up the ramp and leaping through the gate. I rolled my eyes at his antics and helped my lovely girlfriends up the ramp before confidently walking forwards through the stable wormhole.

The soldiers all began raising their rifles as I stepped through but all of the weapons were yanked away to the floor, Barriss clenching her fist and destroying them. The rest was lost on me as I was atomized and reassembled on the other side.

"They are humans from Earth..." A strangely sing-song language reached my ears before my mind immediately latched onto the sound deformation inside the chamber and I whipped my eyes in the direction of the two little grey aliens.

Jack rolled onto his back as he fixed himself from his hasty exit of the SGC. "Gods that was more painful than it should have been... I really need to reprogram the SGC's stargate so we don't accidently implode a sun or something."

"Smart idea, but you can do that later." My voice echoed through the chamber whilst several hundred Asgardians wondered into the hallway in curiosity.

"Ah, just the people I was wanting to see." Jack cheerily remarked in Lantean before easing up onto his feet once again and looking towards the nearest Asgardian. "Bring me to your leader."

I snickered openly at the seriousness with which he said that line, the man ignoring me in favour of focussing on the Asgardian in front of him. Footsteps sounded beside me as Anna and Barriss stepped out of the stargate, their gaze taking in the expansive red-silver hallway and its hexagonal structural patterns.

"Their architecture is intriguing..." Barriss commented softly as O'Neill conversed quite calmly with the Asgard in front of him, they were named Freyr or something like that.

"He speaks in the tongue of the ancients..." , "A human shouldn't be capable of this." , "Who are his companions?" , "The Ancients are back." Said a whole range of Asgardians in the background whilst Anna tried to process the visuals in front of her.

"Wait! The Asgardians are the Roswell aliens?" Anna looked at me with an eyebrow raised.

"Yep, at least, in this universe this is the case." I extended my senses out for kilometres and immediately felt precise models formulate inside my vision as my Neurons created entire schematics for teleporters, advanced gravitational systems; which looked far superior to their Star Wars' equivalents, matter to energy systems, energy to matter systems and an exact copy of one of their larger vessels; which just so happened to be docked at the top of this building.

Our idling didn't last long however as we were escorted out of the Stargate room and towards a teleporter at the end of the chamber, which I immediately recognised from my scans of the building we were in.

We all stepped into the transporter chamber and were whisked away to another building that had all sorts of interesting things... Such as an experimental super-alloy they were making in small amounts. It was a mix of Trinium, Naquadah and Carbon that was almost perfectly bonded with one another and looked to be tougher than Neutronium, which was an amazing feat.

'Yoink!' An image of the material and its molecular breakdown and composition hovered in the middle of my vision as I started performing theoretical tests using my enhanced cognitive abilities. I started adding mithril and other metals to the alloy and did several thousand calculations as we were escorted by Freyr to the Asgardian Council.

The trip was short, with all of us standing off to the side as O'Neill spoke with the Asgardian Council in their native language. They were speaking about the status of the Ancients and what the purpose behind the meeting was. Ultimately Jack, in his diplomatic ignorance, told them that he was here to solve their genetic issues and that he needed access to a harmonic-resonance server; essentially a really advanced computer.

Barriss and Anna were listening in and asking some questions to me as they spoke... Which were mainly requests for me to translate what they were speaking about and why it was important. Whilst I was doing that for them, I was also using Technopathy to connect to the Asgardian's database, which was odd at first but soon made complete sense to me as my Psychometry and Xenoglossy perfectly translated what was in the database as well as what was in the database previously.

There were intense scientific papers on the nature of FTL travel using alternate dimensions, exotic matter streams and even wormholes... Some experimentation had been conducted in the past for 'Warping' FTL travel but the hypothetical particles were obnoxiously difficult, from their perspective, to create/stabilize for more than a 1 billionth of a second and required a stable blackhole to power to the process they hypothesized could work. Naturally I copied all of that information into my mind and then shunted that into my watch, using its connection to my computer to instantly save it to my servers.

"What are they talking about now...?" Anna asked in frustration as O'Neill made a cocky remark towards Odin, who was regarding him with all of the patience of a mother of five with a saint complex.

"Jack just told them that they weren't as smart as they think they are and that the Ancients were way ahead of them in gene technology." I uttered as the last file for FTL travel was transferred.

"That is very undiplomatic..." Barriss commented nervously as she looked up towards the 12 council members who were spotlighted underneath glowy importance-lights; so you know they're powerful and shit.

"As long as they don't try to kill us because of what he's saying, I'm fine." Anna chuckled as Odin started explaining sophisticated genetic research in verbal form, which Jack immediately completed and then altered with the knowledge of the Ancients. The council was impressed at the knowledge he had, as well as the complexity with which he broached in the next few seconds.

"Heh, they wouldn't kill us. Maybe throw us off their home world, but killing us would be a last resort... Most likely." I explained whilst copying all of the Asgardian data on Epigenetics, biology, virology, Genetics, Zoology, Eugenics, Horology, Xenology and Memetics... I also took the entire list of Stargate addresses they had, because why not?

"They sound chill, to be honest." Anna leaned into my side as she spoke, her right cheek resting on my shoulder as I wrapped my left arm around her waist. Barriss followed soon after, resting herself against my right arm as we waited for the meeting to be done.

"From what I've picked up from Apollo, the Asgard were the most badass species in this universe."

"Mhm." Anna hummed.

I took a look at their computer technologies and found them surprisingly inferior to my kids' servers, their AI being very simplistic and generic whilst their hardware was mainly focussed towards intense calculations and software programming. I still copied the technologies behind them seeing as how they were very powerful at what they did.

Next were their weapons technologies which included spatial collapse bombs, time dilation capsules, advanced energy pulse cannons, plasma beam weapons and beaming technology. I could already feel Apollo salivating at these weapons as I copied down every single schematic they had.

Then finally were the more extreme tech that they had... Consciousness Transference Cubes, neutrino-ion generators; which were far superior to Star Wars generators, and a fully intact design schematic of Lantean personal shields.

After my ruthless harvesting of information I ran away from the Asgardian servers and fully focussed on my ladies, who were both starting to get bored of all the talking.

"Want to go see the city of the Ancients?" I asked my two lovely girlfriends.

"Uhh, why didn't we do that to start with...?" Anna sassed.

"Because I wanted to get some cool stuff from the Asgardians."

"Oh, yeah, that makes sense. Sure! I'm up for that... Sounds much better than listening to some old aliens natter on in a language I can barely understand." She grimaced as the Asgardians all started speaking to O'Neill again.

"I would love to see their city." Barriss said simply whilst pressing herself into my side a little tighter.

"Right, that's settled then. Let's blow this joint." I proclaimed.

I held both of them closer to me and returned back to our universe. Then right as we settled down I pushed us back through to Samantha, who was standing in the command room of the SGC getting a talk-down by Hammond.

"Ughhh, warn us next time hun..." Anna groaned leaning forwards.

"That was unpleasant, never do that again master." Barriss followed Anna's example and leant forwards whilst holding her stomach.

Shaking my head I rubbed circles on both of their backs.

"I'm sorry but I don't feel a thing when doing it, I'll keep in mind how 'unpleasant' it is for future reference." I said softly.

"That doesn't matter Major Carter, you clearly understood that he was under the control of an alien influence and let him run rough-shod through this base!" General Hammond yelled from the other side of the room, none of the SGC personnel noticing our presence yet. I frowned at the tone he was taking with her.

"But sir! I-" Samantha tried to rebut but was stopped from doing so by Hammond who held a hand up.

"Enough. The fact of the matter is that you have abandoned procedure and endangered members of this base. As the highest ranking member of your team after Colonel O'Neill it was your duty to ensure that he was properly secured and that he had not opportunity to access other parts of the base..." The general continued whilst I felt my right eye twitching in disgust, despite how logical the argument was from a military perspective.

"General! He has the information of an entire advanced civilization in his head! How am I supposed to stop him if he really wanted out...? Beyond that, he was perfectly in control of his faculties and was acting much like he usually does. Hell, Dr Frazer was there!" Samantha defended herself whilst Teal'c and Daniel stepped up beside her.

"She's right sir, Jack spoke English again and was conversing with us like he usually did... He's just, well, got a lot more information in his head and seems to be using his intelligence far more than usual." Daniel snuck in just after she finished speaking.

"Indeed..." Teal'c agreed with Daniel's and Sam's argument, his eyebrow rising. "Is it not a positive that Colonel O'Neill has obtained the knowledge of the ancestors, and seeks to obtain allies in our cause against the Goa'uld?"

Hammond looked at each of them before taking a breath, his eyes closing in tiredness.

"As of this moment I am suspending all three of you until I can be sure that you are not influenced by anything alien or malicious. You will not be able to leave this base until we are certain you are in control of your faculties." The General ordered as several of the soldiers at the sides of the room took a step forwards.

The trio looked at the soldiers and back towards their general, their body language tense and beleaguered. Glancing towards Anna I noticed she was about to step in and say something so I decided to step in first so this didn't blow out of proportions.

"Is that so...?" I drawled.

Immediately every soldier flinched in my direction, their firearms rising towards me. The General snapped his gaze in our direction and locked eyes with me as I slowly crossed my arms.

"Drecarios..." Samantha whispered in anxiety, as if she didn't want me to be effected by her circumstances.

"Yes, that is so Mr. Drecarios. I'm afraid you have little to no say what goes on within this base and have no authority upon which to stand." The general huffed in annoyance before turning back to the trio. "Now, will you follow my orders or will I need to isolate you in your rooms under guard?"

I raised an eyebrow at how arrogant he sounded and how easily he ignored me. Barriss's force presence tightened considerably as rage slowly festered inside it... She was getting pissed on my behalf! If I didn't love her before, which I did, I would have fallen for her right here and right now.

"Well General, I'm afraid you are incorrect." I started snootily.

The General turned to face me.

"How am I wrong son?" The General gruffly queried, his blue eyes narrowing as he awaited my answer.

"I do have authority... The ultimate authority, from which all power derives from..." I drawled before pausing. "Violence." I succinctly finished as I unleashed the full breadth of my force presence into the room.

Reality's reaction was near instant as shadows grew longer and the lights started to flicker on and off with a shudder. The concrete foundations of the entire base began rattling whilst the firearm of each soldier was instantly crushed into small condensed balls of plastic, steel and cordite.

"You are out-gunned... No matter how powerful you are, numbers have a quality all of their own." The General stated nervously, his eyes flicking towards his now unarmed men.

"Ignorance. My master has conquered countries and fought Death's forces by himself. He escaped the Jedi order whilst being tracked down and managed to save me. He has staved off an alien invasion and stopped a nuclear weapon in its tracks. Your soldiers would be killed instantly if he decided to erase you and truly stopped holding back." Barriss monologued for me whilst I focussed on the emotions of the SG1 members.

Samantha was turned on, awed by the list of feats I had managed and happy that we were defending her. Daniel was disturbed by the dark atmosphere and use of powers but was getting more curious as to who I actually was and what I have done. Teal'c's respect of me only grew, though he did find this entire argument stupid; which I had to agree with.

"Let's just drop this entire conversation shall we?" I paused and then continued, ignoring Hammond as he tried to answer. "SG1 remains the way they are. O'Neill can suffer the consequences or whatever later, they aren't at fault for his shenanigans. They won't be monitored, or your ally, me, will step in and give them sanctuary from tyrannical injustices... Which I can do because I am the leader of an entire foreign country, back on my Earth. Lastly, you will take a long hard look in the mirror and consider the people you were just about to make enemies of... Especially since you have a family with grandchildren."

I huffed in annoyance as Hammond stared at me in anxiety and trepidation. His grandchildren were his weakness, I knew that... But I would never harm kids or touch them, I just wanted him to think about the consequences of his actions more.

"V-very well..." Hammond gulped.

"Good! Now, do you three want to see the Lost City of the Ancients?" I turned towards SG1 and reeled in my force presence, the shadows returning to normal and the rumbling ceasing as I did so.

"The WHAT!?" Daniel incredulously screamed.
