I enter the dining room, my outfit was chosen by Etro this time; a black prep-school style shirt and blue tie with a short black skirt.
I eat with decent etiquette, although I accidentally leaned forward too much long enough for Lorea to get onto me.
"Elvina, sit straight, I shouldn't have to tell you."
Aerith walks me to the front door, a huge wooden set of double doors with a large stained glass window of a man with the words "RIP Caspian" under the man.
"Where are we going?"
Aerith laughed, and said "We have school today, sleepyhead."

We reach the school, and I noticed there are no paved road or machinery.
Everybody walked or rode by carriage or horse.
Large, black letters in a font similar to that of a newspaper heading read "RPHS: ROSEWOOD PRIVATE HIGHSCHOOL"
We enter and I follow Aerith to the cafeteria where all of the students are for assembly.
"I'm going to go to the 11th grade table, have fun in class!"
I find a table and sift through my backpack.
I find a pencil bag, books, notebooks, and a schedule with "LOCKER NUMBER: 724" written in light purple marker.
Three kids wave me over, I assume they're my friends.
I walk over to them, and they greet me with
"Hey Elvina!"
"El, I heard from Aerith that you started your training yesterday, that's amazing!"
"Elvina, how was your weekend?"
The dark brown-haired girl who called me 'El' says to the light brown-haired girl who asked how my weekend was that; "Vilocorie, I literally just said she started her training."
"Uh, it's fine, Vilocorie was just asking." I say.
"Yeah, Muleen." Vilocorie says teasingly
"Mu, El, did you two not hang out this weekend?" The red-haired girl asks.
"No, I spent Saturday with Vil and Sunday with you, Lin." Muleen says before leading me to our lockers, which are beside each other.
I look at my schedule, piecing together Elvina's life;
Three friends; Muleen (Mu), Vilocorie (Vil), and Lin (Probably a nickname).
Mom is Lorea, dad is not known yet, sister is Aerith.
Elvina goes by El by her friends, and Muleen is most likely the best friend.
Rich, seemingly royal judging by the castle, servants.
Servants so far: Pandra, Etro, Odessa, Viosa, Mailynn, Nossica, Mirage, Laissee, Chonra.
Magic exists, magic type not found, Aerith's types are Solar and Lunar.

The classes were surprisingly normal.
Highschool math, gym, science, RLA, lunch, recess, history (Although it was about this world, not Earth of course), art (I was in band in my previous life, and I suck at art, so the teacher got mad at me for not trying. I looked at Elvina's other pieces and they were incredible, strands of color elegantly woven into art.), and there was magic study instead of tech apps.
Back at the house, we eat and train.
Lorea watches me this time, and every now and then, she would holler "Aerith, she gets it! You'll never be as good as your father was if you spend an eternity teaching instead of learning it yourself!" And Aerith would practice until I asked for help.
Was? Is our father dead, or incapable?
Lorea calls us inside "It's starting to rain, let's head indoors, girls. Aerith, keep doing it like that, you might never be as good as Caspian."
Caspian.
Was that their father's name?
Wait, that name was on the glass window.
So he is dead, that's good to know.
We go to bed, and I stay up for a few hours memorizing details about my new life.
I'm not in Elvina's body, I am Elvina.
Whether I like it or not.
