Scene — Agram City.Evening has fallen. The city hums with cars, shops, and buildings. A well-kept car pulls up in front of a house and three kids step out: Precious, Lior, and Shai.
Precious: "Huh — so this is the house."Lior: "It's pretty nice."Shai: "Does it have enough space?"Lior: "Yep, plenty of room."
The house is built of wood and stone. A small wooden balcony runs along the entrance with four chairs, a table, and some flower pots. The trio go inside.
Right of the entrance is a door, a stairway, another room, and straight ahead is the living room with a mat, sofas, and a TV.
Shai: "Nice house."Lior: "Yeah — just needs a little cleaning."Precious: "Leave this to me."
Precious snaps his fingers and the whole house is instantly spotless — dust and dirt vanish.
Lior & Shai: "What—?!"Lior: "Precious, how did you do that?" (eyes wide)Precious: "It's my power."Shai: "Awesome!"
Precious: "Okay, the house is clean. Tomorrow's the entrance exam, and we don't have food right now."Lior: "But where's the market around here?"Shai: "We can split — two of us find the market and get food while the third finishes the last preparations."Lior: "Good idea."Precious: "I'll go find the market. You two stay and wait."Lior: "Alone?"Precious: "Don't worry. I'm the oldest here anyway."Shai: "And I'm the weakest here."Kail (Precious's Manas skill): "Weakest? Precious the weakest?! Who do you call powerful then?" (teasing tone)Precious: "! …Alright, alright."Precious: "Don't worry. Nothing will happen to me."
Precious heads out.
He walks along a random street — soldiers riding horses, several cars passing, people walking, and lots of houses and inns.
Precious (thinking): "Okay, I need to buy this and that… first — where's the market? DETECTION."
He uses his skill to locate the market and follows the direction until he reaches the crowded bazaar.
Precious: "So this is the city market."
Stalls and shops line the streets. Precious buys vegetables and staples — potatoes, carrots, and the like.
As he's about to leave, he bumps into someone.
Precious: "Oh — sorry."That person: "No, I'm sorry."Precious: "Hm?"
The stranger's face is partially covered by white cloth, hiding the right eye and most of the right side of their face — only the left eye and a small part are visible. The person walks away.
Precious: "Why were they wearing such a strange mask?"Kail: "Huh! Why wear a mask at all?"Precious: "Good question."Kail: "Let it be — something weird's going on behind them."Precious: "I don't have time. I have to get back. Let them do whatever they want."Kail: "As you wish."
Precious returns to the house. Night falls and everyone prepares dinner.
Everyone: "Thanks for the food, god." (they give thanks and sit to eat)
After they finish, Lior stands.
Lior: "Now it's time to sleep."Precious: "So — who takes which room? Has it been decided?"Shai: "There are two rooms with bunk beds, and another room with a double bed."Precious: "Which room are you taking?"Lior: "I'll take the double bed. Shai takes a bunk. You don't have any choice — you'll sleep in a bunk too."Precious: "—_— Couldn't you just say that? Why the detailed explanation? Fine, I'll sleep in a bunk."Lior: "Yep."
Everyone goes to sleep.
Next morning. The three gather in the living room.
Precious: "Okay, time to go."Lior: "Let's go."Shai: "Exam — here we come!"
They lock the house and head toward Doramai School.
