Inside a bedroom, Tety and Bety lay on a double bed.

Beside them, Precious sat on a chair, holding a book in his hands, reading it aloud softly.

"About 300 years ago, there was a dragon that destroyed half of the Shin Kingdom. At that time, the people believed it was their end… but then the priest of the head temple arrived and sealed that dragon inside a bottle. From that moment on, temples gained great respect in the kingdom—"

Precious suddenly stopped mid-sentence.

He looked at Tety and Bety… and smiled faintly.

They had fallen asleep.

Quietly, he placed the book on the table and stood up, walking toward the door.

But as soon as he stepped outside—

He froze slightly.

Lior was standing right there, his face filled with tension.

The two looked at each other. Precious quietly closed the door behind him.

"Are they alright?" Lior asked.

Precious nodded.

"Yeah… they're sleeping now."

"I see… but what exactly happened to them?"

Precious shook his head slightly.

"I don't know. I can't say for sure… but whatever it is, it might happen again."

He paused for a moment before asking,

"Does big sis know about this?"

Lior replied,

"No… she left early this morning for a mission. She doesn't know yet. We'll tell her when she comes back in the evening."

Precious nodded.

"And Ice? Did she go home?"

"Yeah. She stayed for a while with uncle, aunt, and grandfather in the living room… but she left a little while ago."

"Good for her. You should go and rest too, Lior."

Lior shook his head.

"No, you should rest, I—"

Suddenly—

"Brother Precious…!"

Bety's voice came from inside the room.

Both of them heard it.

Precious gave a small smile.

"You go rest. I'll handle it."

Lior nodded and walked away.

Precious turned back and entered the room again.

Inside, Tety and Bety were trembling on the bed.

Precious's expression grew tense.

Ever since that incident… they've been like this… trembling in fear…

"Brother… where did you go…?" Tety said weakly, her voice trembling.

"I was just outside, near the door."

Precious sat back on the chair.

"Brother… sleep here with us," Bety said softly.

Precious hesitated.

"No… I'm fine here."

Bety looked at him, her eyes filled with tears.

"Mom and Dad already left us… will you leave us too?"

Precious froze.

His eyes filled with sadness.

"No… I won't leave you."

Tety and Bety both looked at him with emotional eyes.

"…Okay."

Scene shifts—

Precious now lay on the bed between them.

On one side was Tety, on the other Bety.

Both held onto his hand as they slept peacefully.

Their expressions were finally calm.

Precious spoke softly,

"So… how do you feel now?"

"It's… much better than before," Tety replied.

"Hmm…"

Precious paused, then asked gently,

"When that incident happened… did you feel anything strange? Anything at all… you can tell me."

Both girls went silent.

Their eyes weren't tense anymore—but there was a deep sadness in them.

Precious spoke again,

"If you don't tell me what the problem is… how will I—or anyone—fix it?"

His voice softened.

"Whatever it is… no matter what… tell me. I'll do everything I can to solve it."

Still, they didn't speak.

The small smile on Precious's face slowly faded.

His expression turned sad.

"I see… If Mom and Dad were here today, maybe none of this would have happened… Maybe I'll never become a good brother… someone who can properly take care of his sisters…"

His voice carried quiet pain.

Tety and Bety immediately turned toward him.

"No, brother!"

Their voices were emotional—but firm.

"If anyone has taken care of us the most after Mom and Dad… it's you," Bety said.

"If anyone has loved us even more than them… it's you," Tety added.

Both spoke together,

"You're our brother… our mom… our dad… and our guardian! You're the one who protects us!"

Tears rolled down their cheeks.

Precious looked at them silently.

His face was still sad—but there were no tears.

"…Then tell me what you know."

The twins fell silent again.

They looked confused… trembling slightly.

After a pause, Tety spoke.

"When that incident happened… it felt like something inside our bodies was being pulled out… like something was trying to take something away. The pain was… unbearable."

Bety continued,

"At that time, we couldn't think… couldn't move… we couldn't even see properly. It felt like we were trapped in another world…"

"A dark world… filled with fog… and water on the ground…"

"That's all we remember, brother…"

Precious's expression changed.

He went into deep thought.

Then Bety asked softly,

"What do you think? What happened to us…? Will we be okay?"

Precious placed his hand gently on their heads.

His voice turned warm and firm.

"Yes. As long as I'm alive… you don't need to worry about anything."

He smiled faintly.

"This brother of yours… would even fight the creator of this world for your sake."

Tety smirked slightly.

"You mean Lord Zayguard?"

"Yes."

"Hehe… we'll see," Bety giggled.

"I'm serious."

"Yeah, yeah…"

Some time later—

Tety and Bety had fallen asleep again.

Between them, Precious lay awake, staring at the ceiling.

What they described… this might be connected to their past lives…

Kail's voice echoed in his mind.

"I thought the same at first… but I ruled that theory out."

"Why?" Precious asked.

"Because both of them are experiencing the exact same thing… the same world… the same symptoms."

Kail continued,

"If it were only one of them, then yes—it could be related to a past life. But both of them? That's not possible."

"Even if they are twins… their souls should be different."

Precious replied calmly—

"No… you're wrong."

Kail paused.

"It's not necessary for twins to always have separate souls."

Precious's eyes sharpened slightly.

"It's possible… that due to some incident… one soul was split into two."

Kail went silent for a moment.

"…Is that even possible? I don't think so."

Precious replied firmly—

"It is possible."
