Chapter 300 - Chapter 301 — Farewell

7 years later...

After defeating Demon King Sumaru, I told Tiyara everything. When she asked me never to leave her, I had no choice but to explain the truth.

She said that if I truly wanted to leave, she would let me go. However, as a symbol of our love, she wanted a child.

At that time, neither of us was old enough, and I still hadn't completed my remaining 50 missions. So we waited until we reached the proper age to marry.

During those seven years, I completed the remaining 49 missions, and we also had a child.

We named him Gartha.

Present Day

Yuki stands near the entrance of a mansion, putting on his shoes.

Behind him stands Tiyara, holding their baby in her arms. The child is around seven or eight months old.

Tiyara watches Yuki emotionally. Sadness is clearly visible on her face.

Both of them are adults now.

After putting on his shoes, Yuki turns toward her and says:

"So... I'm leaving now, Tiyara."

Suddenly, tears begin flowing from Tiyara's eyes.

Yuki falls silent when he sees her crying.

He walks over to her and gently says:

"Don't be sad. You have a symbol of our love, don't you?"

Tiyara sobs.

"Sob... um... uyam... sob..."

Yuki hugs her softly and says:

"If you cry like this, how am I supposed to go and kill Illman?"

Tiyara replies:

"You're leaving forever, and I can't even cry...? That's not fair..."

Yuki speaks in a painful voice. Tears have also gathered in his eyes, though he doesn't cry.

"I know... I know that pain too, because I love you. I don't want to leave you either."

Tiyara shouts emotionally:

"Then why are you leaving?! Don't leave!"

Yuki takes a deep, painful breath.

"Because I have to go. I can't stay here forever. My friends, my family, and my parents are waiting for me."

Tiyara asks:

"What about me? What about him? Aren't we your family too?! Tell me!"

Yuki becomes silent.

After a brief pause, he answers:

"Yes... you are my family too. But we've already talked about this before, haven't we? And you agreed."

Hearing that, Tiyara falls silent.

Yuki slowly steps back.

After a moment, Tiyara speaks again in a soft and painful voice.

"Don't forget that you have another family... a wife and a child. And if you cheat on me... I'll kill you."

She says the last few words while crying, staring directly into Yuki's eyes.

Yuki simply looks at her.

Then he steps forward, kisses her forehead, and says lovingly:

"I won't forget you. Not even once."

After that, he kisses his child's forehead as well.

The baby has the same hair color as Tiyara.

Yuki then says:

"Take good care of him."

Tiyara nods emotionally.

Yuki gives her a painful smile and leaves the mansion.

Tiyara remains standing at the doorway, watching him walk away.

She knows she may never see him again.

But there is nothing she can do except stand there and watch him disappear into the distance.

After standing there for a while, Tiyara returns inside.

She places her child gently on a bed and puts him to sleep.

Then she quickly enters another room and closes the door.

The moment the door shuts, she collapses to the floor and begins crying loudly.

"AAAAH...! AH...! AH...! HA...!!"

She grabs her hair.

Tears stream from her eyes while her nose runs.

"Why...?! Why...?! Why did he leave?! I want him...!"

She stands up and starts throwing flower pots and picture frames across the room.

They shatter upon hitting the floor.

She is consumed by sadness and anger.

All of her usual softness and cuteness are gone.

"If... if I can meet him in his world... then I can stay with him forever...!"

She continues crying uncontrollably.

Outside the Mansion

Meanwhile, Yuki stands outside the mansion gate.

Sadness fills his face as he looks at the ground.

After a few moments, he raises his head, closes his eyes briefly, then opens them again.

His expression becomes serious.

Without looking back, he begins walking.

Several Hours Later

Yuki is walking through a city street.

A large sword hangs at his waist—the Netherite sword given to him by his parents.

His hair has grown much longer, and he now wears the attire of a swordsman.

As he walks, he thinks:

"I have 120 swords thanks to the Kita Trick. Then I have my parents' sword, and with Wairua Kural I can create any weapon from my aura."

"Weapons won't be a problem."

"But Illman is the final boss. He's definitely going to be powerful."

"I should buy a lot of healing potions, strength potions, and mana potions."

"If I shrink them using the Kita Trick, I can probably carry thousands... maybe even ten thousand."

"Though I don't have that much money."

"Five hundred healing potions and five hundred strength potions should be enough."

Yuki stops in front of a large store and enters.

Inside are several service counters.

He walks to the largest counter.

The clerk asks:

"Yes, how can I help you?"

Yuki replies in a serious tone:

"I want 500 healing potions and 500 strength potions."

The clerk freezes.

After a few seconds, he slowly raises his head and looks at Yuki.

Then he says coldly:

"This isn't a place for jokes. Get out."

Yuki calmly places a large bag on the counter.

"I'm serious. Here's the money."

The clerk opens the bag and sees it filled with gold coins.

His eyes widen in shock.

"Holy hell...! I-I'm sorry, sir, for my rude behavior..."

"But gathering 500 healing potions and 500 strength potions will take time."

"If you only wanted ten or twenty, I could provide them now. Otherwise you'll have to wait."

Yuki asks:

"How long?"

The clerk replies nervously:

"Maybe until noon... perhaps longer."

Yuki nods.

"Fine. I'll wait on that bench. Call me when everything is ready."

The clerk agrees.

Yuki sits down on one of the benches.

Hours pass.

Customers come and go.

Some wait like Yuki, while others are served immediately.

Eventually, the clerk personally approaches him.

"Sir, your order is ready."

Yuki stands.

"Where is it?"

The clerk replies:

"Outside."

They walk out together.

Outside are two large sacks.

One is filled with blue healing potion bottles.

The other contains green strength potion bottles.

The clerk smiles.

"Here's your order, sir."

"How will you transport all of this? If you'd like, I can arrange a carriage."

Yuki answers:

"No need."

He walks over to the sacks and uses the Kita Trick.

Instantly, both sacks shrink to a size smaller than a nanometer.

The tiny sacks fly toward him and attach themselves to his body.

They are so small that they become completely invisible to the human eye.

The clerk watches in shock.

Yuki turns toward him.

"Then I'm leaving."

The clerk quickly bows.

"Ah! Yes! Thank you, sir! It was a pleasure doing business with you. Please come again!"

Yuki leaves.

As he watches Yuki disappear into the distance, the clerk thinks:

"If customers like him came here every day, this would become the greatest shop in the world."

A happy smile appears on his face.

He returns to his store.

Meanwhile, Yuki leaves the city behind and continues his journey—

toward his final destination...

To kill Illman.
