Andrey opened his mouth, but nothing came out.

Liv didn't wait.

She simply turned around, her steps steady, back straight, dignity intact.

And this time, when she walked away. No one dared stop her.

The café was still the same, filled with the soft scent of blooming roses, the gentle murmur of a fountain nearby, and the quiet clinking of fine porcelain. Sunlight poured through the tall windows, warm and golden, painting the space in a peaceful glow.

But for Liv, nothing felt peaceful.

This place, once wrapped in laughter and memories, now felt like a graveyard of things she no longer wished to remember.

She sat quietly, fingertips tapping the edge of the small white table, trying to steady her heartbeat. Her stomach churned, not from pregnancy, but from something else entirely.

Guilt?

Anger?

Fear?

She wasn't sure.

Then the door opened.
