"What in the world is this thing?"
Amidst the teasing and joking of the group of girls, Maple quickly pulled her shirt over her body, covering the strange, shameful mark on her smooth abdomen. Her pretty face was completely red.
Not only did she have this embarrassing mark on her body, but she was also seen by a group of girls... As Student Council President, Maple's toes were practically curling up, trying to drill an escape tunnel into the floor.
She wished she could find a hole to crawl into and hide.
"Rin, let me see your abdomen and stomach—"
Rin finally arrived belatedly, after most of the girls had left the changing room. Maple grabbed her sister, speaking words that made her heart pound, but the stoic girl calmly took off her clothes.
She exposed equally delicate and refined skin, flat and smooth, with the same pink heart-shaped mark as Maple's.
"I knew it! You have it too... Rin, you don't seem very surprised?"
Rin was as cold and detached as ever, as if the destruction of the Earth wouldn't change her expression. Meeting her sister's gaze, she blinked. "This? I knew about it."
"Huh?"
Maple watched her sister calmly pull her clothes back on, frowning. "You knew? When did you find out? Why didn't you tell me?"
"I saw it just now when I went to the restroom," Rin touched her stomach through her clothes.
"The restroom... So you deliberately waited for everyone to leave before coming back to change, didn't you?!" I can't believe it! I never thought Rin would be this cunning, keeping her little schemes hidden. She purposely avoided everyone's teasing, leaving me to be the focus of their jokes!
Maple bit her lip, huffing. "Rin, you are really getting less and less cute! But wait, do you actually care about being seen by everyone? I thought you wouldn't mind."
The stoic girl, Rin, didn't reply.
Maple didn't pursue the question further, leaving the changing room dejectedly with her sister and heading downstairs. "Alex actually left this kind of mark on us... it's too much."
"Why Alex?" Rin tilted her head. "There's no proof."
"Although there's no proof, it must be his doing. No one else but Alex could do this... It has to be him!" Maple gritted her teeth for a moment, then her shoulders slumped. "But he was probably trying to help us, too."
"Honestly... I am grateful to him, but can't this strange thing be removed?"
"I don't know if it will wash off."
Rin listened silently to her sister's continuous complaints and suddenly spoke up. "It doesn't really matter."
"Who knows? Besides, it's embarrassing if people see it," Maple turned suspiciously. "Something's off, Rin. Why does it feel like you're always defending him...?"
My sister seems very biased towards Alex.
During P.E. class, taking advantage of a moment when no one was looking, the twin sisters quietly slipped over to the water faucet. Maple lifted her sports shirt, intending to wash off the pink silver mark. Rin stood behind her with her hands clasped, watching her sister's futile efforts.
The mark, indeed, couldn't be washed off.
"How could this happen..."
"Sister," Rin suddenly tugged her shirt, pointing to the side. "Look over there. Over there."
"What?"
In the distance, an exceedingly beautiful woman was approaching the academic building. From afar, they instinctively knew she was a beauty, and as she got closer, she exuded an undeniable aura of nobility.
The elegant, distinguished, and exquisitely mature woman made the two young girls feel self-conscious. While they were both beautiful, their aura seemed inferior to hers.
"What a gorgeous woman. She isn't from the school, is she?"
"No."
"Could Alex have called her..."
Both girls thought of Alex at the same time, exchanging a glance that confirmed their suspicion. Maple put her shirt down in frustration, her tone subtle. "That guy sure knows a lot of beautiful women."
After saying this, Maple wasn't sure how she felt, but she quickly clenched her fist. "We still have to settle the score with him about this mark on our bodies! Rin, let's go find him after class!"
"Nina, Yuna."
The woman who arrived at the school was, of course, Mira Tsubaki. The mature and sexy widow's charm was far beyond what young girls could offer, and she constantly radiated a seductive aura, causing many male students to stare and gulp.
Mira ignored the attention, long accustomed to the surrounding gazes, but she felt a complicated, slightly nervous feeling about the upcoming meeting with Alex.
"He didn't specify in the email, what exactly happened?"
The Tsubaki mother and daughters gathered together. Nina glanced at her equally bewildered sister and rubbed her forehead. "Mom, you can tell just by looking at Yuna."
"What about Yuna?"
"What about me?"
Yuna was confused. "Didn't Alex need to talk to you, Mom? How does that concern me?"
Nina patiently began to explain everything to Mira and Yuna. Mira Tsubaki listened, sweating slightly, her brow furrowed with worry. Besides Alex, others also possessed supernatural abilities.
This was not good news.
She would likely need to be more careful herself when outside from now on.
The fact that Nina and the others encountered this situation... should I call it lucky or unlucky? Although many things have happened since I met Alex, most of them, upon reflection, haven't been bad.
Even though he... took advantage of me, if it ensures his protection, maybe it's not so terrible.
"I didn't expect this mark to have this kind of effect... Fortunately, he was there. Otherwise," Mira Tsubaki stopped abruptly mid-sentence. She seemed to realize that her resistance to Alex was getting lower and lower.
She had already accepted his existence.
Meanwhile, he hadn't come to see her for days, as if he'd found a new favorite and forgotten all about her. Today, he suddenly called, only to ask her to handle a problem.
That man, honestly—
"Alex actually did something that terrifying?" Yuna covered her mouth nervously. "But, of course, I stand by Alex on this. That transfer student means nothing to me; I certainly won't speak up for him."
"But what should we do now? We have to find a way to cover for him—"
"Yuna, you seem very concerned about Alex. Your relationship seems to be getting better?"
"Nina, how can you say that? Isn't caring for him normal? He helped us," Yuna Tsubaki stammered. "Besides, I haven't seen Alex much lately..."
"True, he hasn't come to our house. So, Yuna, are you feeling disappointed?" Nina sneered.
"Huh? When did I ever feel disappointed... But Nina, you sound like you have a hidden meaning. Are you perhaps jealous?"
"I—"
Seeing her two daughters suddenly arguing fiercely, Mira Tsubaki rubbed her temples with a headache. They're fighting over Alex? Could it be that both of my daughters...
Yuna had shown signs before, but now Nina too...?
That guy truly is the nemesis of the Tsubaki family.
Mira Tsubaki thought with a wry smile. Surprisingly, she didn't feel too much aversion to the idea of a relationship involving a mother and her daughters...
The premise is that Yuna and Nina are willing.
Now, it seemed both her daughters were not far from falling for him...
