Its been another week since the 'outing' with Yuki. My life is as normal as it was. Despite the fact that every night, I set out of the galaxy to destroy some asteroids and very far planets that are out of human sight. Its almost end of November month and winter is around the door. Today is Sunday, another day off from my work and another day without laughing with Yuki and Sato. Seriously, we make a good friends group.
Today, I have some tickets to the amusement park and as last time I tried inviting her and she said yes again so I dressed as Iris said, looking magnificent. I arrived at the park early this time and after few minutes, she shows up. She looks...extra beautiful today. I don't know if its my eyes playing with me but it seems she worked on her looks more than usual.
I stand speechless. My eyes roaming on the small details she worked on her outfit.
"Akito! You're early today." She says, slightly gasping for air. I snap out from my daydream.
"Oh..yeah. I felt bad that I kept you waiting last time." I really felt bad. "So? Ready for the rides?" I say, offering her my hand. But she hesitates grabbing it and I get embarrassed. I thought it was now normal between us...but before I pull my hand back, she grabs it and smiles.
"I am counting on you if I get scared and puke a lot." She says and I chuckle before going in the park.
We rode so much rides together, almost every ride in the park and ate a lot. She actually got scared sometimes but I comforted her that I am here. And now its almost evening, everybody leaving the park with their families, friends, couples...I wonder if we are a couple too?...Or if we can become one. Something brews in my head and I get suddenly brave to stop and stopping her too.
"Yuki...I...want to tell you something very important." I say looking into her eyes.
She blushes hard as her hand covers her mouth and she says but its muffled, "Y-yes?"
It takes all my bravery to put my words up. "I...always liked you so much. From high school to be exact" I say, stuttering myself.
She lets out a soft gasp as her blush widens...."I...I like---" She couldn't finish her sentence and..its like she froze. Not only she, when I look around, everyone, everything froze, time froze.
"Error! Sir! YOU MUST LEAVE NOW! GET AWAY, SIR AKITO! A Form 2 Angel is approaching!" Iris says loudly in my mind. I couldn't process anything before I feel my back freeze. So strong, so powerful. Someone is behind me.
"My my, Mr. Destroyer, I am most apologetic to interrupt your date but work calls, Mr. Destroyer."
A woman's voice...So calm and polite but still screaming danger. I slowly built up courage to look back to see a woman floating just above the ground, a bright haloring hovering above her head and she is dressed pure white and a trident in her hand. Her brightness making the surroundings bright.
"W-who are you?!" I ask but my voice wavers.
"Myself? Oh, apologies that I did not introduce myself," she bows her head a little down, "I am Norumi Feynard. An Angel from the Heavens and the lieutenant of the Fifth Division of the Heavens. And I also am a Form 2." She ends moving her head up.
Before I can ask another question, Yuki moves a little. "Oho? Interesting. This girl can move? Even after I stopped the time?" She says looking at Yuki. I look back at her before I sense something flying over her. Before I can stop it...a horrible scene sets in front of my eyes. Her head split from her body and rolling on the ground...I stand...And I just stand.
"Hmm? The death of that girl damaged you? Good, now I don't have to struggle against you." She says, chuckling mockingly. What's so funny about her? What the fuck is funny about her death!?
"Hey, you damned Angel or anything...I am going to split you in half..." I say looking over at her. The tears in my eyes turning air from the fire of my body.
"I would suggest you not to. It'll end bad for you." She says with a smirk. Her defence mode turning on.
I don't listen the hell she says and charge into her with full speed. And in a blink...my body is split from my waist... My head lies on the cold ground, blood spilling and tears in my eyes and my eyes...closes.
My eyes jump opens as I sit up, finding myself in a dark place. The surface is water but it doesn't wet me. My breathing ragged, my eyes big as I am trembling, I look around, its pitch black.
"My pleasure to meet you, Akito..." An old, deep and dangerous voice screeches around me. I flinch at the voice. My lips trembling.
"W-who are you?...Where are you?" I ask slowly.
"No need to fear. I am someone very close to you and of course I am not going to hurt you." That old voice said. Calmness in their voice. "Your time hasn't come yet, Akito. You still have to grow. You still have a long way to go. We shall meet again. Soon" They end and I open my eyes again. Its getting dark and I am lying on a bench in the park. No sign of wounds in my whole body...Just...Yuki is nowhere... Not so long until my blood pressure rises and I stand up.
"Norumi Feynard!!!" I scream as I take off in the air. I don't know where I am going but I am going find out that bitch! But soon, a heavy punch lands on my cheek, sending me flying back to ground.
"Ughh" I wince in the pain as I stand up and look who it is.
"You seem hot-minded right now, Akito. Well, I think that's normal because of the sudden loss of Yuki..." A familiar voice floating on the air, crossing his arms and a sad look on his face.
"Sato?! You can fly?! Wait...Are you an Angel?!" I ask as I go in fighting stance.
"Calm down, I am a Destroyer too. I am really sorry that I couldn't help you and I thought you died but you didn't..." He says while coming down. I release my arms and fall on the bench.
"Yuki...She's gone.." I say, my voice cracking as I cover my eyes with my arm.
"Sorry, Akito. But this is reality. I suppose you're very confused. So...should I start explain this shitty crap power world?...Or, The world of unknown powers?"
