Back in the base control room, Keon's consciousness, anchored once more in the Bio Exoshell, was split, processing multiple streams of data with detached efficiency. His core systems dedicated a small fraction of capacity to a real-time quad-split holographic projection floating before his optical lenses, showcasing the progress of his deployed assets and the human trio.

The top-left panel displayed the vast, sunlit valley where Vera and Mark had landed. As Keon watched, Vera moved with fluid, practiced ease, leaping from the riverbank onto a moss-slicked boulder. In the next instant, she struck. A small, dark silver fish, momentarily leaping from the turbulent water, was bisected in mid-air by the clean, sharp sweep of her matte-black blade. The two halves of fish splashed back into the river, one immediately caught and swept away by the current.

Keon's Material Recognition sub-talent automatically pinged, analyzing the remnants of the fish's biological structure.

The abundance was anomalous, even for his system's forced growth.

'The biological synthesis protocols must be recalibrated. The ocean floor and marine life require a complete, high-resolution URS scan to map the new food chain and resource potential,' Keon calculated, adding the task to a low-priority queue.

He then dismissed the footage of Vera and Mark. They had been provided with a stable, resource-rich environment and the tools for self-sufficiency. Their long-term survival was now a function of their innate biological tenacity and tactical resourcefulness. His strategic responsibility for them was complete.

His gaze flickered to the remaining three segments of the projection.

Lilith, in the black and red battle armor, was a blur of motion within a dedicated, reinforced training zone near the base's perimeter. She moved with aggressive grace, executing complex attack patterns against a cluster of hovering, target-practice drones. Her movements were silent, propelled by the GT Field Generator, and lethal plasma thrusters. She cycled through the armor's modular weaponry: thin, energy-charged blades slicing through the air, then transitioning to rapid bursts of plasma fire that vaporized the drone targets with focused precision. She was clearly integrating the suit's capabilities into her fighting style at an accelerated rate.

Anna, in her bulkier blue logistical armor, was practicing on the main external runway. Multiple holographic panels glowed around her, displaying complex network matrices. Small, nimble utility drones… the ones that had separated from her suit… followed precise, programmed paths, lifting and depositing pre-fabricated alloy components. Anna's hands moved quickly, assigning new tasks and optimizing load capacities, her focus absolute on mastering the flow of resources.

Aria, still a dark blur against the sky near the ocean, was pushing the limits of her scout armor's stealth and speed. The footage, captured by an external surveillance drone, showed her shape flickering, phasing between near-invisibility and a matte-black silhouette, testing the multi-mode cloaking system against the harsh glare of the sun and the shifting density of the atmosphere. She was navigating a complex, high-G spiral, her movement a testament to the fluid control provided by the plasma/GT hybrid propulsion system.

Keon observed them for another moment, a detached appreciation settling in his core. They were learning, adapting, and proving the validity of the specialized equipment. The armors and the modes perfectly matched their personalities, style and profession.

He dismissed the second display with a subtle mental command.

His cognitive focus instantly shifted, the vast, continuous feed of UHS1's global network flooding his consciousness. He glanced at the footage from all across the planet… a quick, all-encompassing survey that took less than a millisecond. The fabrication hubs of both the Southern and Northern bases were silently waiting for his fabrication commands.

Keon's attention now shifted, drawing inward to the still, internal battlefield of his core. He mentally retrieved the data stream from the fabrication desk, focusing on the twelve-inch collective spider resting inertly on the polished surface, the construct that had served as the physical limit of his previous aggregation test.

He dismissed the projection of the three humans' progress and focused his green optical lenses, zooming in on the dark-silver spider. The massive Bio Exoshell stood motionless, but the Nano Main Frame core within it was intensely active, executing the command for the structural overhaul.

'The dual-ring geometry is inefficient,' Keon calculated, his thought process a silent, internal echo of his earlier deduction. 'A single, foot-sized object is too fragile and limited for universal deployment. The structural limit of twelve inches is unacceptable. Let's see how efficient is the dodecahedron shape compared to the dual ring main frame.'

He activated his Material Transformation talent. In the next moment, the holographic vision projected the collective form of the spider in microscopic detail. Countless tiny, dual-ring Nano Main Frames, the constituent units of the foot-sized construct, swam into Keon's internal vision.

The transformation was silent and absolute. One by one, each dual-ring shape frame squirmed, dissolving and instantaneously reforming into a Dodecahedron Shaped Nano Main Frame. The shift from the sparse, two-point connector to the twelve-faced geometric template was a silent revolution in structural engineering.

As the new shapes materialized, their twelve pentagonal sides instantly sought connection. Unlike the previous dual-ring units, which could only connect to two other main frames in a fragile chain, the Dodecahedron shape allowed each Nano Main Frame to connect to twelve neighbors simultaneously, creating a three-dimensional, highly dense structural mesh.

Keon observed the foot-sized spider on the fabrication desk change before his eyes. The intricate, eight-legged form of the spider began to flatten and compress, the corners folding inward as the internal units locked into the new geometric structure. The amorphous mass slowly, flawlessly, transformed into a perfect cube, a proper Dodecahedron cube with twelve sides, but this cube was made from countless, tightly locked Nano Main Frames.

Keon's thoughts flickered with cold satisfaction as he registered the new structure's stability. The previous aggregation limit of twelve inches had simply vanished. The dense, multi-point connectivity of the Dodecahedron shape had exponentially increased the structural integrity and the control radius of his single GT Field Generator core.

'The Dodecahedron is really the most suitable, versatile, and universal shape for nanobots,' Keon determined. 'It's geometric efficiency is absolute.'

He immediately issued the next logical command to the base's fabrication system.

The fabrication arms in the control hub snapped into high-speed operation. High-purity UACA, ACA alloy and other material dust was delivered to the desk, and the arms began producing thousands of new Nano Main Frames with blinding speed. The newly fabricated Dodecahedron units flowed like dark, viscous water toward the central, foot-sized cube.

The incoming Nano Frames moved with hyper-organized discipline, settling onto the surface of the central cube and instantly locking their twelve sides into the existing mesh. The size and volume increased exponentially, the collective unit growing from the center outwards with chilling precision.

The size surpassed ten cubic feet, then fifteen cubic feet, then twenty-five cubic feet. The scale was immense, yet the synchronization was flawless, testament to the distributed computational power of the collective UMPU X2 chips. As the cube passed through thirty cubic feet, the expansion slowed, the energy demand for maintaining synchronization increasing non-linearly with volume.

Keon finally felt the limitation, he halted its growth at 35.3147 cubic feet… a proper cubic meter. As he calculated the count, there are approximately 1e+9 (1,000,000,000) Nano Main Frames. The expansion stopped, a massive, inert, dull-silver dodecahedron cube of chilling, geometric perfection resting on the fabrication desk.
