The dome of the Scorpio Palace was embedded with fluorite simulating the Scorpio constellation, and a faint blue light flowed along the patterns of the bluestone slabs.
As the Bronze Five stepped into the Scorpio Palace, they were immediately locked onto by a sharp Cosmo.
In the center of the palace, a man stood with his back to them, his dark purple hair cascading like silk to his waist. The Scorpio Gold Cloth gleamed with a cold metallic luster under the faint blue starlight, and the long scorpion tail behind the Cloth was slowly swaying in the air like a living creature, its tip flashing with dangerous blue light.
Shun looked at his four companions, then bravely stepped forward.
"Scorpio Milo, right? Andromeda Shun is here to challenge you!"
Milo slowly turned around, his arms crossed over his chest.
His face was handsome but carried a hint of arrogance, his light golden eyebrows slightly raised. His gaze swept over Shun without the slightest pause, as if looking at an insignificant object.
Soon, his eyes passed over Seiya, Shiryu, and Ikki one by one, finally settling on Hyoga, who was wearing the Cygnus Cloth.
Milo extended his right index finger, and a point of scarlet Cosmo condensed at its tip, the light flickering like a pulsating, poisonous flame.
"That kid, your name is Hyoga, right?"
"Huh?"
Hyoga's mouth slightly opened, and the pupils under his blue short hair suddenly contracted. An ominous premonition spread up his spine.
He saw unconcealed hostility in Milo's eyes.
But he still straightened his chest, his ice-blue Cosmo subtly circulating, his voice firm.
"It is I, Cygnus Saint Hyoga."
Milo nodded with satisfaction, the scarlet light at his fingertip growing more intense, his tone carrying an undeniable authority.
"It's you then, Hyoga. You stay and challenge me. The others, proceed to the next palace."
The scene in the Pope's Palace, where he was forced to humiliatingly hold back due to Li Yu's immense pressure, felt like it had just happened.
The proud Milo, constrained by Li Yu's intimidating power, dared not act out at the time, but he must have been extremely uncomfortable inside.
Now, his disciple Hyoga had actually delivered himself to his doorstep.
Then I apologize, but I must properly educate your disciple for you.
The four Saints looked at Hyoga, their eyes full of sympathy.
How could they not see Milo's intentions?
He was clearly taking out all his dissatisfaction with Li Yu on Hyoga.
Hyoga's master, Li Yu's popularity in the Sanctuary, seemed worse than expected.
Seeing them hesitate, Milo's fingertip flashed with red light. He furrowed his brows and sneered.
"What are you dawdling for? If you don't leave now, none of you will leave the Scorpio Palace alive today!"
Seiya looked at the Zodiac Temple torches on the Summit of Holy Mountain.
Only four torches were still burning, which meant that Ms. Saori's time was running out.
He gritted his teeth, leaned close to Hyoga, and whispered.
"Hyoga, we'll go save Ms. Saori first. Once we get athena's shield, we'll come back immediately to help you!"
After the Scorpio Palace, there were still four palaces: Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, and Pisces. The Sagittarius Palace was empty, and the Aquarius Palace was Li Yu's palace, so it was highly probable that no one would stop them there either.
They only needed to pass two more trials to reach the Summit of Holy Mountain!
"Go on, I'll deal with him!"
Hyoga, dragging his weary body, ignited his Cosmo. This concerned his master's reputation, and he could not retreat a single step.
The four Saints no longer hesitated and disappeared into the depths of the Scorpio Palace.
Hyoga nodded, clenched his fists, and his ice-blue Cosmo began to surge.
Before he could even prepare himself, Milo suddenly vanished from his sight!
The next second, a piercing pain erupted from his back. Hyoga was sent flying as if struck by a heavy hammer.
While still in the air, seven blood holes split open on his body, and blood gushed out from the wounds, staining the ice-blue armor on his chest.
"Heh, too weak."
Milo's voice came from behind Hyoga. He slowly retracted his fingertip, the scarlet light not yet dispersed.
"Compared to your master, Li Yu, you're simply..."
"Silence!"
The temperature inside the Scorpio Palace plummeted, and Hyoga's Cosmo expanded violently to an unprecedented degree.
Milo was slightly surprised. This familiar scene reminded him of that man.
Hyoga crawled up from the ground, his head bowed, his body trembling violently.
"You... you all are going too far!"
First, Deathmask of Cancer, then Aiolia of Leo, and now even Scorpio Milo was mocking him.
Following in Li Yu's footsteps and earning his master's approval was his most persistent wish, hidden deep in his heart. But this obsession had now become a reason for others to mock him.
Challenging the Twelve Gold Palaces, and being told again and again that he was inferior to Li Yu, the unyielding part of Hyoga's heart was completely exposed!
He suddenly punched forward, his voice filled with a desperate resolve.
"I may not be as good as my master, but don't underestimate me either! Take this!"
"Diamond Dust!"
Hyoga's Cosmo broke through a certain critical point, and an ice-blue light erupted like a tsunami.
An ice-blue torrent surged from his palm, carrying countless sharp ice blades and the frigid air of Absolute Zero, rushing straight towards Milo.
Where the torrent passed, the bluestone slabs of the Scorpio Palace instantly froze, and even ice crystals began to float in the air.
"Seventh Sense?"
The laziness in Milo's eyes completely vanished, replaced by solemnity.
He dared not be negligent. He spread the five fingers of his right hand, and five Scarlet Needles condensed simultaneously, his Cosmo operating at its peak.
"Scarlet Needle!"
"Boom!"
The power of ice and poison collided with a roar in the center of the palace. Energy waves spread like a tide, and the fluorite on the dome shattered, fragments raining down.
The bluestone floor cracked with spiderweb-like patterns. Hyoga was thrown back by the impact, violently crashing into a stone pillar inside the hall. He spat out a mouthful of blood, and the shoulder armor of his Cygnus Cloth was completely shattered.
Milo was also forced back several steps, a thin layer of white frost covering his Gold Cloth. He shook his wrist, a trace of numbness still lingering at his fingertips—the chill brought by Absolute Zero.
"I didn't expect you, kid, to be able to master such power."
Milo stared at Hyoga, his tone now carrying a hint of recognition.
At this moment, outside the Scorpio Palace, Li Yu stood with his hands behind his back, a hint of relief flashing in his eyes.
He could clearly sense the moment Hyoga broke through to the Seventh Sense. Although that ice-blue Cosmo had the blessing of Athena's divine power, it was still enough to prove Hyoga's talent.
"He finally comprehended the Seventh Sense... Now, all that's left is to teach him Aurora Execution!"
Li Yu murmured to himself, not entering immediately. This was a crucial moment for Hyoga's growth, and he did not wish to interrupt it.
It wasn't until the Cosmo fluctuations inside the hall gradually subsided that he slowly walked into the Scorpio Palace.
Inside the hall, Hyoga remained in a punching stance, unconscious and leaning against a stone pillar. The fourteen blood holes on his body were temporarily sealed by frost, and the blood had stopped flowing.
Milo stood before him, a scarlet Cosmo condensed at his fingertip, yet he hesitated to strike.
That was Scorpio's final needle, Antares!
Li Yu understood in his heart that Milo had, after all, held back.
The Scarlet Needle attacks the vital points of the human body at light speed. After being struck by fourteen needles, only the final needle, Antares, is needed to cause the opponent to lose blood, lose all five senses, and ultimately have their Cosmo extinguish and die.
Milo's pupils constricted when he saw Li Yu, and the light at his fingertip instantly dispersed.
"I knew it. If I hit your disciple, you'd definitely show up."
Li Yu's lips curved slightly.
"Hmph, you should be grateful you didn't plant the final needle, otherwise..."
Li Yu walked to Hyoga's side, carefully picked him up, and enveloped Hyoga's body with his own Cosmo to alleviate his injuries.
Milo snorted coldly, turned his back to Li Yu, his dark purple hair concealing his expression.
"The suddenly appearing Ophiuchus Palace... is very dangerous, Li Yu. You're not wearing a Gold Cloth, are you really okay? Do you need me to go with you?"
Li Yu carried Hyoga and walked out of the palace, his steps steady, his voice calm.
"It's merely Ophiuchus. Watch me break through it alone!"
