Chapter 97 - Chapter 96 Kronos, Typhon, the God of Dreams!

The first Titan who blocked Li Yu's path had half of his skull already shattered, revealing pale brain matter and dark golden divine veins.

He let out a ferocious roar, the sound waves shaking the surrounding rock walls, causing debris to fall and scaring away the other Titans who were about to make a move.

A muffled voice came from his broken head, and saliva mixed with black blood dripped from his fractured jaw.

"Stop! He is our only hope of escape, you trash controlled by instinct, get lost!"

The many broken Titans hesitated, their gnarled knuckles scraping the hard ground with an ear-splitting sound.

A female Titan's voice came from the shadows, her neck constricted into three segments by chains, her head hanging upside down.

"Indeed, a pure-blooded human carrying divinity. For thousands of years, he is the only one."

"But that also makes him more delicious."

Another Titan rumbled in agreement, his chest torn open, revealing how brutal the ancient war had been.

"Trapped in this dark, sunless hellhole, I've long forgotten the taste of fresh flesh and blood."

Crack!

Crack!

Deafening cracking sounds echoed throughout the entire Tartarus Abyss.

On the dark ground, countless huge fissures, flowing with lava and foul blood, spread wildly. Hot air with a sulfurous smell spewed from the cracks, scorching the floating debris to ashes.

Titans, larger and more broken than mountains, broke free one after another from the darkness behind the Abyss, from the torn fissures, and from the boiling, chaotic turbid currents.

Their figures obscured the already faint greenish light source, completely engulfing Li Yu in the suffocating, endless darkness cast by the ancient gods.

"I can't worry about that anymore!"

A Titan with three wolf heads roared, his sharp claws gouging deep furrows in the rock wall.

"I want his flesh, I want his divinity, just one bite is enough! With divinity, I can break these chains!"

The imprisoned Titans became completely restless. Countless broken arms reached out from all directions; some were mere bones, others still had decaying flesh, their fingernails packed with the mud of the Abyss, grabbing at Li Yu like a tidal wave.

And the Titan who had lured Li Yu here could no longer hold back. He suddenly blocked Li Yu's path, his chest exploding with dazzling golden light, and immense divine power surged out like a tsunami.

"All of you, get out of my way!"

Boom!

This ancient primordial god, filled with anger and unwillingness capable of making the world tremble, completely awakened.

He opened his mouth and spewed golden divine flames, burning several Titans in the front row to cinders.

"Cronus! Do you still think you are the high and mighty God-King?"

A one-eyed Titan roared and pounced.

"It was your wrong decision back then that led to our defeat and our eternal imprisonment in this hellhole!"

Several Titans instantly tackled Cronus to the ground.

They wrestled together, tearing at each other's necks with broken teeth, smashing each other's skulls with their remaining fists, rolling around like street ruffians. Golden divine blood and black foul blood mixed together, forming a putrid puddle on the ground.

Li Yu watched all of this with a solemn expression. The authority of primordial laws intertwined, clashed, and resonated before his eyes. Even wearing the Ophiuchus Cloth, he felt a stinging pain from the aftershocks of the law impact.

The entire Tartarus Abyss trembled violently, and a dull rumble came from deeper within, accompanied by low dragon roars, as if something colossal was awakening.

In the midst of the chaotic battle, Cronus grabbed the Aquarius Cloth Box and threw it forcefully towards Li Yu, his roar filled with urgency.

"Hurry and go! It's Typhon! You killed its child, Hydra, it won't let you off!"

"Remember to come back to the Abyss entrance at this time next month, I have something for you!"

Li Yu's heart tightened.

Typhon, the ancestor of all monsters, the source of hundreds of millions of demonic beasts and giants.

Sanctuary texts recorded that it had a hundred dragon heads, a pitch-black tongue, and fire-breathing eyes, a terrifying giant god that even the stars and clouds could not compare to.

The Hydra, which he and Saga had jointly destroyed, was its most beloved offspring.

And Typhon was born from Gaia and the Tartarus Abyss; here, other gods would be weakened, but it would thrive.

Li Yu steadily caught the Aquarius Cloth Box and slung it behind him, his body igniting with an ice-blue Cosmo, transforming into a stream of light, and flying towards the entrance he came from.

Roar!

A high-pitched dragon roar suddenly exploded, and hundreds of dark purple dragon breaths attacked from deeper within the Abyss, instantly engulfing everything behind Li Yu.

The Titans screamed and burrowed underground, only a black shadow broke free from its chains, transforming into thick black smoke, and pursued Li Yu closely.

After flying a great distance, Li Yu looked back.

In the darkness, a hundred-headed beast was coldly staring at him, its colossal body almost occupying his entire field of vision.

Its trunk was as thick as an ancient tree, its skin covered with dark brown scales, each scale embedded with solidified lava, and the black-red liquid flowing from the crevices, when it dripped, scorched smoking deep pits in the ground.

Hundreds of voices simultaneously exploded in Li Yu's mind, there were dragon roars, beast growls, and even children's cries.

"I smell Hydra's divinity on you, you killed it! It was my most beloved offspring! Human, you cannot escape! I will soon return to the surface, and that will be your death!"

Roar!

Typhon stomped heavily, and black-red magma erupted from the ground like blood, staining half the Abyss.

Li Yu sneered. The entrance to the Tartarus Abyss could barely accommodate his entry and exit; for Typhon to return to the surface was as difficult as ascending to heaven.

Moreover, with his speed of getting stronger, by the time it could truly come out, who would win was still unknown.

Just as he was about to reach the exit, Li Yu's vision suddenly went black.

A Titan blocked him from the exit.

This Titan only had one head and one arm remaining, the break at his neck was jagged, as if it had been forcibly torn off.

He gazed at Li Yu greedily, his purple tongue licked his lips, his sharp teeth gleamed like a guillotine, and saliva condensed into black liquid beads on his tongue tip.

"Human, let's make a deal."

His voice carried an eerie allure.

"Offer your flesh, soul, and divinity to me, and once I am free, I will erect a monument for you, and my followers will praise you for eternity."

An invisible divine power quietly invaded Li Yu's brain, making him instinctively feel that offering everything to the god before him was only natural.

He even recalled countless scenes in his dreams of worshipping this deity, and a sense of awe spontaneously arose.

Li Yu's figure, along with the golden divine light emanating from the Ophiuchus Cloth, was as tiny as a speck of dust before the colossal shadow of this ancient Titan god.

The ancient Titan god opened his gaping maw, revealing a ferocious grin, and a strong stench of decay spewed from his mouth.

"Yes, slowly walk into my mouth, and merge with me..."

Li Yu, as if lost his soul, approached him step by step, about to enter that foul-smelling throat.

Suddenly, a chillingly cold yet infinitely mocking curve slowly formed at the corner of his mouth.

"Controlling dreams? You must be Coeus, the God of Dreams."

The Titan was suddenly stunned, his open mouth slowly closed, and a hint of astonishment flashed in his sole remaining eye.

"You... how could you be immune to my divine power? I am the God of Dreams!"

In Li Yu's dark eyes, an indomitable will to cut down all obstacles burned.

At the center of his brows, a blue ice crystal glittered. For an Aquarius Saint who could seal his own sympathetic nervous system, all illusion techniques were useless.
