Tony Stark glanced at the projected content, smiled helplessly, and lost all interest in the meeting.
The moment he saw MIB, he knew the meeting was a waste of time.
He took out a data pad, turned on the screen, and rapidly typed on it, modifying Danger Rouge 1 after its combat experience.
Instead of wasting time here, he might as well do something practical: improve the shortcomings of Danger Rouge 1 and prepare for the subsequent development of unit 2.
Boom!
Director Nick Fury and Deputy Director Amanda walked into the conference room.
The two walked in one after another, creating a slight breeze with their powerful presence.
They walked to the center and scanned the powerful Super Heroes around them.
The Marvel Cinematic Universe heroes were mostly in casual clothes, not minding revealing their true identities, while DC heroes like Batman still wore their identity-concealing battle suits.
"Mr. Tony Stark... the meeting is about to begin. This is our first time meeting together, please be serious," Amanda reminded.
"Sorry."
Tony Stark replied without lifting his head, "I am listening carefully, you don't need to mind me."
His demeanor appeared arrogant, conceited, and dismissive of others in the eyes of the other heroes.
Hot-tempered heroes like Human Torch and The Thing from the Fantastic Four immediately shot displeased glances his way.
"That's enough. Everyone's time is precious. I declare... the meeting officially open."
Nick Fury, not giving room for the conflict to escalate, went straight to the point:
"What you see is an organization that operates above order. They call themselves MIB, and they engage in interstellar immigration and alien trade."
"As you can see, this organization also takes actions to protect Earth, but they intentionally try to bring human civilization and alien civilizations together. Their objective is currently unclear."
"We believe that MIB's intention is not as simple as protecting human civilization."
"According to our investigation, many aliens have already integrated into our society."
"Furthermore, the Kaiju currently invading us constructed a wormhole on the seabed two months ago. The reason they haven't landed immediately is also because this MIB is fighting against them."
"We speculate that the first appearance of the Kaiju in public was due to an oversight by MIB."
Batman interjected, "I've dealt with these people before. I suspect they want Earthlings to accept aliens, to create a World of coexistence."
"Coexistence? With those alien monsters?" Human Torch scoffed disdainfully, "Isn't that just a traitor to Earth, a betrayer of Earth?"
"I don't agree with your statement," Mockingbird Barbara Morse retorted.
"Not all aliens are bad. For friends like Cybertron, who have offered their core technology to help us wholeheartedly, I support allowing them to reside on Earth."
Green Arrow said, "A few dozen or a hundred immigrants are certainly fine, but what if it's thousands? Do you know how many aliens there are in this World? If they all came, could Earth accommodate them?"
"Stop this topic."
Seeing the meeting's focus drift, Nick Fury sternly corrected, "Ladies and gentlemen, we can't even guarantee the present, so let's not talk about the future."
"That's right," Mr. Fantastic Reed Richards said, "However, I have a question. Over the past half month, there have been more and more alien incidents. Is something wrong with MIB?"
As one of the smartest people in Marvel, he quickly noticed something amiss.
Nick Fury: "..."
Amanda: "..."
Being truthful about this question was certainly not an option.
These Super Heroes were not Agents. Once they knew that Super S.H.I.E.L.D. had acted against MIB, leading to MIB withdrawing its protection of the United States... unity would be out of the question, and it would be a problem if even a few stayed to continue the meeting.
Batman, one of the four who knew the truth, spoke up to help, "What MIB is doing is irrelevant to us. The main reason they are brought up in this meeting is to tell us this."
"Aside from our existing allies, we have no help from anyone. From now on, we must protect this World with our own strength."
"Yes, because... we are about to face our first interstellar war-level challenge," Nick Fury seized the opportunity to move to the next stage.
He clapped his hands, and the conference room door opened, revealing a Black man in Military uniform.
"This is General John Jones from the Military. His true identity is..."
The Black Military man's skin transformed, turning into a green-skinned alien species resembling a grasshopper, right in front of all the heroes.
"I am a Martian, my real name is J'onn J'onzz."

The heroes were all greatly alarmed.
They had thought that aliens had integrated into human society, but they hadn't expected such deep integration—a Military General!
"Fellow Earth Super Heroes, you have just lost Superman. Please unite to face the challenge that is about to come."
"My home planet Mars has already sent an invasion signal to Earth. In less than a week, they will attack the United States on Earth with their interstellar warships."

Upon hearing this news, the heroes who had just recovered were dumbfounded.
"Wait!" Green Lantern asked incredulously, "If Martians are invading Earth, why is the United States specifically being attacked?"
Nick Fury: "..."
Amanda: "..."
Why?
Because MIB protects other places, Martians dare not offend them. Since the United States has no such protection, they struck at the United States.
"Perhaps they think the United States is the center of the World," Human Torch joked half-heartedly.
Batman ignored the chatter around him, frowned, and after a moment of contemplation, seriously asked two questions:
"What is the level of their weaponry?"
"Why do you betray your homeland and choose to help us?"
Martian Manhunter looked at Batman and replied, "Before my friends sent me to Earth, they already had devices that could convert nuclear explosions into absorbable gas."
"As for what you call betrayal? I have not betrayed."
"Martians, like Cybertronians, are divided into Decepticons and Autobots. I belong to the Autobots, but we don't have Cybertron's luck. My entire species was massacred by them."
"I failed to protect my home, and Earth is my second home. I will never allow them to bring disaster here again."
"..."
The conference room was silent.
Not many people paid attention to Martian Manhunter's last few sentences.
They only clearly heard one thing.
The enemy ignores nuclear strikes!
"Uh..."
War Machine James Rhodes, sitting next to Tony Stark, chuckled dryly:
"Is there still a chance for us to ask Superman to stay on Earth for a while longer?"
