Chapter 50 - Chapter 51 Hell's Snow

As the train arrived at a midway station, a commotion erupted from the carriage entrance.

Several burly men in black suits and sunglasses escorted a woman onto the train.

The woman wore a tight-fitting black slit dress that perfectly accentuated her graceful yet powerful curves, and her dark green short hair added a touch of competence and allure.

Her expression was arrogant, and her sharp gaze swept across the entire carriage.

"Blizzard Group is conducting business, all non-essential personnel clear out!" the leading strong man growled, pushing aside passengers who were in the way.

The passengers in the carriage dared not speak out in anger, and they all made way.

The woman's gaze quickly landed on the row of seats where KING was.

It was relatively spacious, had a good view, and most importantly, only KING was there, making it seem quiet.

She walked straight over with elegant steps, the sound of her high heels clicking on the floor crisp and rhythmic.

Finally, she stopped beside KING's seat, and a Blizzard Group member next to her, understanding her intent, said in an unquestionable tone:

"Hey, you, get up. We've reserved this seat."

Lin Mo slowly opened his eyes, removed one earbud, and calmly looked up at the source of the voice.

"Hellish Blizzard?"

He hadn't expected to meet her here... Lin Mo's heart remained unperturbed.

He didn't particularly like this woman, who was extremely obsessed with establishing factions and whose lifelong goal was to surpass her monstrous older sister, Terrible Tornado, but he didn't dislike her either.

She was just someone living under the immense shadow of her older sister, clumsily struggling in her own way.

Hmm... of course, Fubuki as depicted by Kiyoto-sensei was an exception; he genuinely liked that image.

Seeing KING's lack of reaction, Fubuki's brow furrowed.

One of her subordinates immediately stepped forward and said menacingly, "Kid, don't you know we're the Blizzard Group? Get lost!"

KING's gaze remained as calm as water; he didn't even look at the yelling subordinate, only stared at Fubuki and slowly spoke:

"What if I say no?"

His voice wasn't loud, but it carried a peculiar sense of composure that made the noisy air around them seem to instantly solidify.

The subordinate felt a little unnerved by his gaze and for a moment didn't know how to respond.

A hint of surprise flashed in Fubuki's eyes; she hadn't expected anyone to dare contradict her to her face.

She scrutinized the man before her: the hideous scar, the deep, bottomless eyes, and the composure that seemed indifferent to everything.

Her intuition told her that this person was not simple.

"Forget it."

Fubuki waved her hand, stopping her subordinate who was about to act. She didn't insist further but chose the empty seat opposite KING and sat down.

Her subordinates immediately occupied the surrounding seats, forming a protective circle that isolated her and KING.

The atmosphere in the carriage became somewhat subtle.

Fubuki occasionally scrutinized KING with a discerning gaze, while KING put his headphones back on and pulled down his hat, as if everything outside had nothing to do with him.

In this eerie calm, the train started again and headed for the next station.

However, no one noticed that behind the toilet door at the carriage connection, a figure quietly peeked out, his venomous gaze fixed on Fubuki, a twisted smile spreading across his lips.

He tightly clutched a remote control that continuously flashed red.

"Hellish Blizzard... it was you who ruined everything for me! Today, I'll make you and everyone on this train accompany me to my grave! Hahaha!"

The low, insane laughter was covered by the noise of the moving train... Suddenly, a piercing announcement echoed throughout the entire train.

"Attention, passengers! Attention, passengers!"

"A suspicious item, possibly an explosive, has been found in this carriage! Please remain calm, do not move around unnecessarily, and await instructions from the crew! Repeating..."

"Boom!"

The announcement hadn't finished when the entire carriage instantly erupted into chaos.

"Explosive?!"

"Oh my god! What's going on?!"

"I want to get off! Stop the train!"

Panic spread rapidly like a plague; passengers screamed and cried, falling into disarray.

The once relatively spacious carriage instantly became crowded, people shoving each other, trying to get away from the dangerous item.

Fubuki's expression also instantly turned grim. She suddenly stood up, and her powerful psychic abilities instantly unleashed.

"Quiet!"

She let out a sharp cry, and an invisible aura spread, causing the surrounding chaotic crowd to calm down slightly.

"I am B-Class Hero 'Hellish Blizzard'! Everyone stay where you are, don't move!" Her voice gave the panicked public a glimmer of hope.

Fubuki's psychic abilities quickly scanned the carriage, and she soon locked onto the target.

"It's on the luggage rack in Carriage No. 7!" She immediately ordered her subordinates, "You all go evacuate the crowd, I'll handle that thing!"

"Yes, Lady Fubuki!"

However, just then, a mocking voice once again sounded through the train's broadcast system.

"As expected of the number one B-Class Hero, you found it so quickly. But do you think I'll give you a chance to disarm it?"

The voice continued:

"The bomb's detonator is linked to my heartbeat; I can detonate it anytime I wish."

"Moreover, I've prepared a little game for you. At three different locations on the train, I've set up three secondary detonators. You must disarm all of them within fifteen minutes, otherwise... BOOM!"

"Who exactly are you? What is your objective?" Fubuki demanded sharply into the broadcast.

"Who am I? I am a wretch whose life you ruined! My organization, my efforts, all mercilessly destroyed by your 'Blizzard Group'!"

"Now I just want you dead! Of course, having an entire train full of people as a funeral escort will be a grand funeral! Hahaha!"

Fubuki's face became incredibly grim.

She remembered; some time ago, she had indeed led a team to wipe out a small criminal gang that used technology for extortion.

She hadn't expected there to be a survivor who would seek revenge in such an extreme way.

Fifteen minutes, three bombs, and the main detonator still on an unknown enemy.

This was an almost unsolvable dead end!

Just as everyone was falling into despair, the man who had remained steadily seated the entire time, KING, finally opened his eyes again.

He slowly removed his headphones, his brow slightly furrowed, seemingly displeased by the sudden noise.

His gaze calmly swept over the panicked crowd, finally resting on the grim-faced Fubuki.

"Location," he said in a deep voice.

Fubuki also noticed KING's unusual calm.

While everyone else was in a panic, only his expression remained serene.

This kind of composure was something no ordinary person could possess.
