Before the Desire Pavilion,
Liu Xi lifted his palm, summoning a surge of azure flame. The moment he hurled it forward, the fire expanded wildly, engulfing the towering structure in a raging inferno.
The Green Lotus Core Flame, known to burn all things without exception, consumed the entire pavilion within moments, erasing every trace of the Desire Immortal Sect's sins.
From behind, gentle voices rose one after another—"Thank you, seniors, for saving our lives!"
Liu Xi turned around. Nearly a hundred women, now clothed and trembling, stood before him. They were the survivors—the victims of the sect's depravity. Some looked lost but lucid, while others' eyes were blank, their minds already broken.
His voice was calm. "Go. The past cannot be undone. Gather what valuables you can from this ruined sect and begin new lives elsewhere."
The women bowed deeply, their gratitude wordless, and one by one, they left the desolate grounds.
Watching their fading figures, Xiao Yixian murmured softly, "Young Master… do you think they'll ever live peacefully again?"
Liu Xi shook his head.
"Who can say? But one thing's certain—the entire Desire Immortal Sect deserved to die."
His tone hardened, final. "Zi Yan, it's your turn. Find their treasury."
Zi Yan nodded eagerly. "Got it, Big Brother!"
When it came to finding treasure, no one was more suited than Zi Yan. Even if the Desire Immortal Sect had buried its vault beneath layers of illusion and stone, nothing could hide from her innate perception.
Closing her eyes, she extended her senses. In her mind, the world became a vast sea of starlight—each gleaming point a treasure pulsing with energy.
Moments later, her eyes snapped open, glowing violet.
"Found it, Big Brother! Follow me!"
Before long, Zi Yan led them back to the Sect Master's Hall—the very place where Zhang Genzhuang had made his last stand.
Liu Xi blinked, then chuckled. "Who would've thought? The Desire Immortal Sect hid its treasury right under everyone's nose. Truly—the most dangerous place is often the safest."
Zi Yan tilted her head, stamping a small foot. "It's right under here, Big Brother!"
"Good job." Liu Xi smiled. "Leave the rest to me. Stand back. Ah Da!"
At his call, the Earth Demon Puppet stepped forward, its heavy footsteps echoing across the marble floor. It stopped where Zi Yan had pointed, then clenched both fists.
Boom!
The entire Sect Master's Hall trembled violently, dust raining from the ceiling. The floor cracked apart, revealing a massive pit several meters wide and five or six meters deep.
Not done yet, Ah Da leapt into the hole and slammed another earth-shaking punch downward.
Crash!
The stone floor below split apart again, opening a vertical tunnel that reached deep into the ground. Within the dim gap, a faint glimmer of light betrayed the presence of a hidden chamber.
Liu Xi smiled faintly. "Let's go see what secrets they buried."
He jumped in, gliding down the shaft, his boots tapping the tunnel walls to slow his descent.
The air below was cool and still. He landed soundlessly, scanning the surroundings.
A vast underground chamber spread before him. The walls were made of black steelstone, set with luminous Night Pearls that bathed the space in a pale glow.
Against the walls stood rows of wooden racks—each neatly organized with scrolls, jade bottles, herbs, and ores. But several shelves lay collapsed under fallen rubble; a good portion of the treasure was damaged beyond use.
Moments later, Zi Yan dropped down with a thud, while Xiao Yixian descended gracefully, her steps light as feathers.
Liu Xi turned, grinning. "Take what you like. Don't be shy."
He strolled between the shelves, scanning their labels. Most items were Xuan Class treasures and 3rd to 5th Tier Pills—useful, but not particularly tempting.
He raised an eyebrow at some of the more… questionable finds: pills labeled "Fiery Maiden's Sigh," "I Love a Stick," and other absurd names.
He sighed. "As expected of the Desire Immortal Sect. Even their alchemy lacks decency."
Moving on, Liu Xi reached the far end of the chamber, where several wooden boxes sat atop a stone pedestal. A faint energy barrier shimmered around them. Carved into the base were two characters: "Di Class."
Liu Xi's interest stirred. "Zi Yan, come here a moment."
She came bounding over, arms full of herbs. "What's up, Big Brother?"
He gestured toward the boxes. "You know what to do."
Zi Yan puffed up proudly. "Hehe, leave it to me!"
She stretched out a small hand through the barrier as if it weren't there at all, easily retrieving the boxes and handing them over.
Liu Xi laughed softly. "Having Zi Yan around really makes life easier."
"Ehehe~"
He opened the first box. Inside lay a rolled-up scroll. Unfurling it, he read aloud:
"Mid Level Di Class Dou Technique — Gentle Paradise."
"Refine with a woman's blood essence and Yin energy. Upon mastery, the user's body exudes irresistible charm and ecstatic pleasure.
Caution: Extremely weak to thunder and flame."
Liu Xi's lips curled in disgust. "What a filthy technique."
With a flick of his wrist, azure fire erupted from his palm, reducing the scroll to ash. "Next."
He opened the second box. Another scroll.
"Mid Level Di Class Qi Method — Desire Yin Seizing Art."
"Requires a female cauldron. Once the vessel's potential is fully drawn out, dual cultivation allows the practitioner to absorb her Yin essence for rapid advancement."
"Another pile of garbage."
He tossed the scroll into his ring, muttering, "What kind of degenerate cultivator actually trains with a cauldron?"
Finally, he opened the third box—inside were several scrolls, each bearing the same title. He unrolled one and blinked.
"Yin-Yang Harmonization Record."
As he read, his brows twitched. Inside were countless… illustrations. And annotations.
"This is a… Qi Method? Are they serious? It looks more like a marriage manual. Though… the diagrams are quite—detailed."
He coughed, conflicted. "No, no. I'm a proper man. I can't be tempted by this nonsense. I'm only… analyzing its technical flaws. Hmm… actually, the energy circulation method seems rather refined."
Indeed, the Yin-Yang Harmonization Record was a legitimate auxiliary Qi Method. Unlike the sinister Desire Yin Seizing Art, it promoted mutual cultivation, allowing both partners to improve their strength together.
Progress was slower, but it carried no side effects—and the longer one practiced, the greater the spiritual and physical enhancement.
Even more intriguingly… it strengthened endurance, greatly enriching both training and "cultivation experience."
Liu Xi sighed, shaking his head. "The Desire Immortal Sect truly lived up to its name… even their serious techniques are indecent."
