After dealing with Maha Tian, Liu Xi turned his gaze back to the white-robed elder, a faintly amused smile curling on his lips.
"Now, there's no one left to save you."
The colossal Azure Lotus Undying Body took a thunderous step forward, tearing through the surging shockwaves and shattered space. With unstoppable momentum, it appeared before the elder's Mighty Maha Body, its golden fist crashing down like a collapsing mountain.
A torrent of Chaotic Spiritual Energy exploded outward, burning through the void. The white-and-black giant stumbled backward as searing azure flames erupted, burrowing into its body like molten lava and setting the divine form ablaze.
Meanwhile, Liu Xi's figure blurred — in the next instant, he was already charging straight toward the white-robed elder himself.
The elder barely had time to react. His face twitched violently, disbelief clouding his eyes. His famed divine art — the Maha Star-Seizing Hand — had been destroyed so easily.
To him, Liu Xi was no longer human, but a monster in the shape of a man. And that monster was now coming for him. Panic flickered across his features before being replaced by fury. He was a Saint Grade Heavenly Sovereign — how could he be reduced to this state?
"Damn you!"
Suppressing his fear, the elder's eyes glinted with venomous light as he snarled, "Dragon-Reversal Staff!"
Boundless Spiritual Energy surged into the dragon-headed staff in his hand. As Liu Xi closed the distance — a mere hundred meters away — the elder hurled the staff forward.
In an instant, the weapon transformed into a massive dragon thousands of meters long. Its scales clattered like iron plates, gleaming with a chilling radiance.
"Roar!"
The dragon's bellow tore through the heavens like thunder.
Liu Xi's eyes narrowed. "A forged artifact? An actual Peerless Saint Artifact?" He gave a faint chuckle. "The Maha Clan truly is wealthy…"
Before he could finish, the dragon's tail lashed toward him like a divine whip. Space collapsed beneath the blow, air bursting apart in shockwaves.
Crack!
Even Liu Xi was sent flying from the impact, but as he steadied himself in midair, his golden aura flared bright — not a single mark marred his body.
He grinned. "A Peerless Saint Artifact, is it? Let's see if I can't dismantle you today!"
Golden light surged around him as his indestructible body radiated divine brilliance. With a burst of power, he lunged at the dragon head-on.
What followed was a brawl that shook the heavens — pure brute force against forged divinity. Each strike shattered the void itself. In moments, scales scattered, claws were torn away, and the mighty dragon was ripped apart from its jaws down the middle.
When it fell, it reverted to its staff form — half-ruined, its luster gone.
Liu Xi caught it effortlessly and smirked. "A decent trophy. A little repair, and it'll serve me well." He tucked it away into his Storage Ring.
Then, his gaze returned to the white-robed elder — full of bright, dangerous amusement. A flash of golden light streaked across the sky as Liu Xi shot forward once more.
No matter what weapons or techniques the elder unleashed, none lasted more than a few breaths against Liu Xi's relentless assault.
Soon, the skies presented a ridiculous scene: a Saint Grade powerhouse fleeing desperately… from an Immortal Grade opponent.
The onlookers were dumbstruck.
A Saint running — and an Immortal chasing — as if the world itself had turned upside down.
Then, a deep, thunderous voice echoed across the heavens.
"Enough!"
Liu Xi paused mid-strike, glancing toward the voice. It was faintly familiar.
The white-robed elder's eyes lit up with relief — reinforcements had come at last!
The void twisted, and several figures stepped forth. At their head — Qin Tian.
Qin Tian stopped short, utterly baffled by the sight before him. He had sensed terrifying Spiritual fluctuations and feared Liu Xi might have been overwhelmed by the Maha Clan's Saint Grade Heavenly Sovereign.
He had raced through space itself, shouting for the battle to stop — only to arrive and see Liu Xi beating the Saint senseless.
That was… not quite what he expected.
"Ah, Qin Tian," Liu Xi greeted casually, smiling as though nothing were amiss. "What brings you here?"
Qin Tian waved his hands hastily. "Nothing, nothing at all. Carry on."
He had come worried for Liu Xi — not for the Maha Clan. The thought of helping them was laughable.
Liu Xi nodded. "Good. Let me finish this, then we'll catch up later."
He clasped his hands politely before turning back toward his prey. A streak of golden light flashed — Liu Xi shot forth like lightning.
The white-robed elder's face froze.
(°ー°〃)
"Qin Tian! Help me! Stop this madman and the Maha Clan will owe you a great favor!"
Qin Tian's expression stiffened — then he smiled faintly. "Everyone relax. There's nothing to worry about."
Between Liu Xi and the Maha Clan, his allegiance wasn't even a question.
Beside him stood a man in light azure robes, his presence sharp as a blade. Sword intent rippled faintly around him, distorting the air itself. His eyes followed Liu Xi, brimming with admiration — and a faint fighting spirit.
"He's strong," the man murmured.
Qin Tian smiled. "Of course. When we fought the Heavenly Demon Emperor years ago, he was the one who dealt the decisive blows. I merely supported him. I didn't expect that after just a few years, he'd have grown this powerful."
He turned slightly to the azure-robed man. "Still, my thanks for coming, Brother Qing Shan. Though it seems your aid won't be needed."
The man known as Qing Shan nodded silently. His aura deepened, merging seamlessly with the heavens — no, the heavens revolved around him. The air shimmered with sword intent so pure it seemed to form a realm of its own.
This was the Azure Sword Saint, master of the Sword Domain — an Immortal Grade Heavenly Sovereign at his peak, famed across the Great Thousand Worlds.
In days past, his reputation and power rivaled Liu Xi's. But now… that balance has shifted.
He and Qin Tian had rushed from the borders of the realm upon hearing the Maha Clan's Saint Grade Heavenly Sovereign was hunting Liu Xi, ready to lend their aid.
It turned out, they weren't needed.
On the battlefield below, under Liu Xi's golden radiance, the white-robed Saint's resistance crumbled entirely.
A final roar — a brilliant flash — and then, boom!
The elder's body exploded into a sea of light, scattering into the heavens like fireworks.
