The Waverider departed from Ritou and drifted at sea for several days before finally docking at Tatarasuna.
As soon as Yuna stepped off the Waverider, her stomach churned violently.
"Yuna, are you alright?" Paimon gently patted Yuna's back with her small hand.
Yuna felt nauseous but managed to hold it down.
"I'm fine," she said. "Let's rest for a bit. We'll move on in a little while."
She hadn't expected this avatar to suffer from seasickness. While it could have been due to the small Waverider's excessive rocking, Lumine and Paimon seemed unaffected, suggesting the problem lay with her.
After resting on the beach at Tatarasuna for a while, Lumine, who had brought a fishing hook, fashioned a makeshift fishing rod from nearby materials and went fishing with Paimon.
Once Yuna had recovered, she gathered some branches and started a fire. Then, she retrieved several jars and bottles from her Vision Space, settling down by the flames to wait for Lumine's catch.
They had already finished the food they brought during the Waverider voyage, leaving only some seasonings. Yuna had packed these seasonings several days earlier, anticipating this very moment.
Soon, Lumine returned with several fish. Yuna helped clean them, and the trio sat together roasting their catch over the fire.
Free from the torment of seasickness, Yuna was brimming with excitement.
This was, after all, her first time venturing so far from home!
If she had dared to stray this far before, Second Sister would have given her a severe ear-tugging upon her return.
Ugh...
Yuna suddenly realized a problem: if she went back now, Second Sister would probably beat her up.
Never mind, I'm not going back yet anyway.
The trio enjoyed a delicious grilled fish meal before continuing their journey to Nazuchi Beach.
After several more days of travel, they finally arrived at Nazuchi Beach.
They hadn't been in a hurry, resting whenever they were tired and sleeping whenever they were sleepy.
With Yuna as their little chef, the journey felt more like a leisurely vacation than a desperate escape.
Nazuchi Beach was vast and deserted, with no sign of either the Shogunate Army or the Resistance forces.
"Could we be too late? Have they already left?"
Yuna shielded her eyes from the sun and climbed onto a high rock.
"Lumine, there's someone over there! Two Shogunate soldiers are surrounding him. Judging by his attire, he's likely the Resistance member we're looking for!"
Paimon flew up to Yuna's vantage point and spotted the figure as well.
"Lumine, let's go help him!"
The trio sprinted toward the scene, not aiming to kill but merely drive off the Shogunate soldiers.
The rescued man wore a red and white military uniform and appeared to be in his early twenties.
"Phew—saved! I thought I was a goner there."
"Thank you for your help. I'm Teppei, a member of the Resistance's Herring I Unit."
"I was recently transferred to the front lines, hoping to earn some merits, but my first mission was a disaster. You must be laughing at me."
"Judging by your attire, you don't look like Resistance fighters. Are you here to join the Resistance?"
Having helped him fend off the Shogunate soldiers earlier, Teppei immediately assumed the group was on his side.
"Yes," Lumine replied.
"Excellent! General Gorou was just complaining about the lack of manpower. This will be a huge help."
With Teppei leading the way, Lumine, Yuna, and their companion followed him to the Resistance's main camp.
Along the way, Teppei explained the Resistance's current situation.
Overall, the Resistance's situation was dire. They desperately needed skilled individuals like Lumine and Yuna to join their ranks.
When the topic of strength came up, Teppei sighed wistfully, "If only I had a Vision too. With a Vision, I could ease the burdens of Lady Sangonomiya and General Gorou, and achieve glory on the battlefield..."
Yuna gazed at Teppei's yearning expression and sighed inwardly.
She actually quite liked Teppei and deeply regretted his choices.
To gain something, one must inevitably lose something else.
In Yuna's eyes, the so-called "great achievements" were utterly worthless compared to one's life.
But this was Teppei's choice.
As they chatted, the group soon arrived at the Resistance camp and met General Gorou.
Gorou began by explaining the Resistance's goals, duties, and the requirements and standards for joining. He then asked the group why they wanted to enlist.
Lumine cut straight to the chase, telling Gorou about the incident involving the hundredth Vision.
Gorou: "Although it happened in Inazuma City, we've heard rumors about it here too. I heard there were some unexpected twists. Strange, considering the Raiden Shogun herself intervened."
Lumine planted her hands on her hips, tilting her chin up slightly. "I did it!"
Paimon chimed in, "We not only fought the Raiden Shogun but also rescued the wielder of the hundredth Vision!"
Paimon then pointed to Yuna. "This one even clashed with the Raiden Shogun herself! Her name is Yuna, and she's incredibly strong. Plus, she makes the most amazing food!"
After their exchange, Lumine and Yuna were arranged to take a tour of the Resistance camp.

When Yuna joined the Resistance, it was just a few days after the incident in Inazuma City.
After the hundredth Vision Hunt Ceremony was abruptly halted due to unforeseen circumstances, the Shogunate Army swiftly issued arrest warrants, plastering them across every street and alley in Inazuma City.
Many locations in Inazuma City were plastered with these posters.
In front of one such warrant affixed to a wall, Kuki Shinobu studied the faces of the wanted individuals and the descriptions of their alleged crimes, her brow furrowing deeply.
Seizing the opportunity when no one was around, Shinobu tore down the warrant and hurried back to her and Yuna's shared quarters.
As soon as she returned, she found Itto and the other Arataki Gang members in a state of frantic worry.
Seeing Shinobu, the group rallied around her as if she were their anchor.
Itto immediately stepped forward. "Shinobu, Yuna's been declared a fugitive! What do we do?"
"Don't panic," Shinobu replied. "Yuna should be with the Traveler right now. As for Thoma, he's likely fled back to the Yashiro Commission."
"Boss, you stay here with Mamoru and the others and wait. I'll go look for them."
Itto asked, "Should I come with you?"
"No need. I can handle this alone."
Itto nodded, his usual carefree demeanor replaced by the gravitas of a true leader.
"Everyone, may I speak first?"
Kuki Shinobu turned to see Ayaka. Showing little courtesy, she cut straight to the chase: "Where is Yuna now?"
She knew why her sister had acted, and she knew Yuna had done it willingly. But she refused to believe the Yashiro Commission hadn't been pulling the strings.
Kuki Shinobu saw through it all, including how the Traveler had been manipulated from the start. This matter involved her sister, and challenging the Raiden Shogun—she knew exactly how dangerous it was.
Ayaka spoke apologetically, "I'm sorry. We dragged Yuna into this. I'm here because she asked me to deliver a message."
Ayaka could have sent a messenger, but Yuna had been caught up in this mess solely because of Thoma. She wouldn't rest easy if she didn't come herself.
"Yuna said she's going to join the Traveler with the Resistance. She doesn't want to implicate you or the Boss, and she told you not to worry..."
Ayaka relayed everything Thoma had told her to Kuki Shinobu and the Arataki Gang members.
Kuki Shinobu exhaled heavily.
That girl!
Why does she always try to be so clever?
She could have just come back here—I would have found a way to protect her. What's she doing running off to the Resistance?!
Next time I see her, I'm definitely going to pinch her ear!
