He ran a hand through his messy, sweat-drenched hair. His muscles were stiff, his joints felt like someone had taken a hammer to them. He stretched a little, groaning under his breath as his body protested.
"After all that…" he muttered under his breath, looking at his hands. "I'm alive."

Silas sat up as he straightened his back, wiping his sweat with the back of his hand from his forehead. His voice came low but firm. "What is it? Something about the Dullahan? Is that motherfucker gonna show up here!?"

Silas let out a sigh of relief as he heard the response of the system; his shoulders dropped a bit as he relaxed.
