Chapter 3 - Eternal Light - II

Section I

It only took seconds, Estelle couldn't believe that what she had sensed. On the outer edges of the universe, an entire galaxy had been overrun and destroyed, all its light erased, creating a dim and purple hole in the universe. There were only twelve creatures from the depths over there, if that's all it takes to annihilate an entire galaxy, then Estelle knew she had to act fast. Had she been anyone else, she'd feel completely overwhelmed and lose her will to fight....if she had been anyone else.

Estelle: "Truly a commendable force, but I am Estelle! The Eternal Light of the Universe! And my color will override all malice!"

In an instant, an avatar of light had formed, an avatar far larger than any galaxy, capable of holding even Andromeda on her pinky finger. This was manifestation of the energy she held within her, and with this manifestation, she planned to wipe out every creature from the abyss in one bright blow.

Estelle: "May you all bask in my brightness, and witness the power of the protector of the universe!"

The hero of light winded up a punch, her fist lighting up brighter than the rest of the avatar. It grew brighter, brighter, and even brighter. It covered a quarter of the universe, then half, and eventually, it became so bright the entire universe would bathe in gold.

Back on Earth, Midori had shielded the solar system from the invaders that dared threaten this reality. She wore white gloves which seemed to appear like normal winter gloves, yet they held a strange power, one that could control any and all forms of energy in the universe. It was with these gloves that she created a protective barrier across the solar system, a barrier that would erase any malicious creature that touched it.

???: "I couldn't complete them, so they're not self-sustaining like they should be, however the barrier should last a couple hours and some minutes to spare."

Midori: "A couple hours should be plenty. Say Aida, do you know what's going on?"

Aida was girl from Midori's school, though she was of equivalent height, she was much slimmer, her short hair much better kept than the green-haired defender standing next to her.

Aida: "According to my scanner, several tears in space-time occured at once, hundreds of them across the entire universe. Creatures from the depths began to break through, and they wiped out a galaxy at the edge of the universe in seconds. At the moment, they've already wiped out thousands."

Midori: "And what of Estelle?"

Aida: "I can't scan her."

Midori: "What do you mean you can't scan her?"

Aida: "I'm saying I can't scan her! She doesn't register as an existing entity in my scanner."

In that very moment, all of Earth had been engulfed in a golden light, and a big impact followed moments later. After that, it was pure silence, Aida's scanner didn't pick up any creatures. For a moment, the universe was back to normal.

Midori: "Seems like she decided to be all flashy and wipe them all out in one go, and here I thought she may even need my help."

Aida took out a second scanner, checking the current state of the universe to make sure everything was alright. With an impact so great, there couldn't have been a lack of consequences, that's not how the world worked. Unfortunately, she was right. The moment Aida realized what was happening, everything began to accelerate. It wasn't time, but everything in the universe, no, the universe itself began to accelerate. The full force of Estelle's punch had caused the entire universe to shift, launching it in an inexplicable direction.

Midori: "Aida what's happening this time!?"

Aida: "That idiot! That flashy punch launched the entire universe across the fifth axis!"

Midori: "What does that even mean?"

Aida: "It means..... we're off course! We're on our way to collide with another universe!"

Section II

???: "Hmmm, it seems things didn't go as planned."

Witnessing the scene, outside the universes themselves, a figure of golden coils for hair and a victorian dress that completed such hair stared at the ridiculous scene. An entire universe, launched at immense speeds and sent off course. It wasn't what she was expecting, who knew the existence within that universe could launch it across the fifth axis, such a thing shouldn't even be possible.

???: "I suppose nothing is truly impossible.....maybe it'll be within my best interests to leave things alone for now. I'll ask Bluebell or Wisteria on what I should do about this."

The flying universe only has a few moments before crashing into the other in it's path, threatening to kill entire civilizations of people all thanks to a mistake from the hero within it....however Estelle wouldn't allow such a thing to occur. Before the figure had left the scene, she witnessed something extraordinary. A bright light enveloped both universes in the same of a dragon, no, it wasn't just light, it was a manifestation of light. The purest form of an 〖Idea〗, it wasn't raw light, but what 〖Light〗represented. It was an amalgamation of hope, goodness, luck, triumph, and victory. Those concepts put together formed a miracle unlike any other seen before. The two universes didn't explode, but instead, fused together momentarily, before being split apart. Once split, the flying universes slowly returned to its original position, and the threatened universe didn't even have as much as a fracture in space. The two universes were saved from total destruction.

???: "Interesting.....the champion of this bubble can perform miracles to even solve the most impossible task imaginable, stopping the annihilation of a universe."

The figure thought to herself for a moment, it was time to reassess the threat level Estelle had on her grand plan to take over the bubble. If she was this powerful, it was clear that creating monsters from nothing wasn't going to cut it. The champion was beyond some hero of the universe she could hope to just overwhelm with cannon fodder, she needed to take care of her immediately. Creatures within a universe aren't supposed to be strong enough to do anything significant to it, otherwise they may end up destroying the universe themselves. Estelle launching the universe was one thing, preventing the resulting clash with another universe was simply the result of the warrior being different from those of other universes she's conquered.

???: "Tch- to think Yang would have a miracle worker here-"

Section III

Estelle: "That was far too close! Perhaps I shouldn't have put too much power in that punch, I didn't think the universe could be thrown like that. Though with a world so fragile, it only makes sense for my radiant strikes to be too much."

Regardless of her pride, Estelle stared at her home universe, hovering above it as she stared at every star within it. It was so beautiful, constantly expanding and forming new stars, new galaxies, new life and her- she almost destroyed it. It felt like nearly breaking a vase, as beautiful as it may be, it was far too fragile. It made her think to herself, how could she deal with such a large number of enemies and not cause harm to the universe? If billions of creatures of the unknown began attacking once, she wouldn't be fast enough to destroy all of them safely without at least a dozen galaxies being wiped from existence. The best bet wouldn't be to defeat the enemies as they appear, but instead to directly take down the source.

Estelle: "These creatures don't come from within the universe, but instead something beyond it. Could it be within this space outside universes? No, it's still a form of space at the end of the day, be it larger or not. Which means-"

In the next moment, a flash of golden light flew across the fifth-dimensional realm, seemingly moving in a straight line from afar. Estelle stared at it confused, that wasn't her light, it was something- no- someone else else was producing it. Despite it being far away, further than any three-dimensional or four-dimensional metric for distance could measure, Estelle prepared herself for a potential threat. It wasn't like the light gave off any signals that it was malevolent or evil, in fact it was 〖Pure〗in the truest sense. Estelle understood such light all to well, a 〖Light〗that represents 〖Perfecfion〗. It is unmovable, unstoppable, capable of doing all things in the name of 〖Good〗, because that's what 〖Light〗is, that's what it's supposed to be. Estelle could use such a light to rewrite an entire reality's rules, because 〖Light〗also brings 〖Truth〗and 〖Justice〗. However Estelle knew such things were in the end, subjective. There is no such thing as an absolute, that includes truth, and even her own beliefs. She couldn't automatically assume that just because one had such light, they were automatically friendly. However Estelle wouldn't get an answer soon, in fact, she already had an answer.

???: "Miracle worker, apologies but this is in no way personal-"

There wasn't a moment to react, because that moment no longer existed. Warping across space and time, the woman with golden coils grabbed Estelle by the hair, and dragged her down across the fifth dimension, shoving her down into the forth, and then the third, and then the second, until eventually she dragged Estelle into nothing.

???: "If I were to attempt to kill you, Yang would resurrect your physical body and you'll be a threat to me and my sisters. I have brought you to a single, isolated, lonely point of nothingness. There is no depth, there is no direction, there is no possible movement or change that can occur. You will remain here until we discover how to permanently kill you."

Estelle didn't understand, where was she? She felt like she had no arms, she had no mouth, she had no hair, she was just- a point. She was without properties, yet there she was, existing yet not existing.

???: "This was actually a lot easier than I thought it'd be, I'll see you another time."

The golden-coiled woman waved from the higher dimension she looked down from, before flying away, returning to her mission to corrupt all other universes within the bubble, and now, nothing stood in her way.
