By the time Royce arrives at the gaming store, he is immediately greeted by his men. They wear an apologetic and regretful expression on their faces, their head bowed.
"What happened here?" Royce walks straight into the store, going straight to where his mate's scent was leading him.
"Alpha, the omega only wanted to use the bathroom. I waited outside the door and in less than a minute Alpha Alaric appeared from nowhere and jabbed a needle into my neck and I passed out instantly."
The other guard immediately makes his own report, "The omega was taking too long in there so his friend decided to go check on him. According to him he found a dead body and the door to the bathroom was locked. He panicked and reported to me and I had to immediately call you here, Alpha."
"I was passed out, not dead," The guard found the need to correct the other.
