Zaber rose from his rest beneath the tree to catch fish. Though his body felt rested, a lingering fatigue remained deep within. His breathing had slowed, but his heart beat heavier than usual. He glanced around before heading toward the waterfall.
As he reached the waterfall, the cold moisture permeated the air, and the relentless roar of the water filled the surroundings. Zaber's mana had not fully recovered, so he could not use his mana sense. He clearly felt the emptiness in his body—as if the power inside had not yet returned to its place.
Zaber entered the water. The cold water enveloped his body. He bent down, submerged his head, and opened his eyes. The water was clear, making the fish visible and sharp. Their movements were light, cautious, and harmonious.
Zaber extended his hand forward.
"Let us try moving it with the chain…" he thought inwardly.
