The World Government, surprisingly, said little about Sengoku's death. To them, the outcome was profitable—more seastone, more weapons, and Jaeger's return with Moria meant the public execution of Pirate King Roger could finally proceed.
The Five Elders were pleased.
On the Moby Dick, the air was heavy.
"Oden…"
Whitebeard sat alone, his face dark. Wano had fallen. Kaido had betrayed the pirate world. Oden... His brother was gone too.
"Dad," Marco said cautiously. "Should we avenge Oden?"
The fire in his eyes betrayed his anger, his heartbreak. He and Oden had been close...too close.
But Whitebeard shook his head quickly.
"If Oden were alive, I would burn the world to bring him back."
He stood slowly, every step heavy with grief.
"But he's not. And storming Wano won't bring him home. It'll only get more of my sons killed."
'Not to mention... Oden isn't Roger's son. Otherwise, I wouldn't have minded agreeing to my beloved son's request...even if it meant leading them to their deaths, just to avenge him.'
He didn't look back as he entered his quarters, leaving behind sons torn between sorrow, rage, and reluctant understanding.

Fleet Admiral Kong leaned back in his chair, a grimace of pain flickering across his aged face. Only Zephyr and Vice Admiral Tsuru remained by his side now—silent pillars of the fading era.
"I'll promote Gion immediately," Tsuru said firmly, though the weariness in her voice betrayed her sorrow. "Saint Jaeger, that Celestial Dragon... he must have someone near him who truly loves the Navy."
The irony stung. Giving Gion—so young, so loyal—to a murderer like Jaeger felt like a final slap in the face. After Garp and Sengoku's deaths, this decision only deepened the wound in her heart.
