"I am the Lightning that tears apart the stars."
Like God's Avoid, this was one of the earliest and most powerful Noble Phantasms Jaeger ever obtained. After countless fusions and upgrades, it had ascended to the level of a Star-Slayer Noble Phantasm—once his greatest ace and trump card.
But now… it had become little more than a nostalgic relic.
With Jaeger's strength growing faster than any divine artifact could evolve, even this weapon—once capable of splitting worlds—could no longer keep up. Even if Jaeger unleashed it at full force, its power couldn't compare to a casual swing of his hand.
It wasn't that the Noble Phantasm had grown weaker.
It was Jaeger who had grown too fast.
After all, Karuizawa Kei once wielded merely one percent of this Lightning's power—yet she was capable of destroying the world and ascending as a god in a modern, high-tech civilization. That alone proved how absurdly powerful this weapon remained.
It simply couldn't shine as brightly beside its master anymore.
"Still," Jaeger murmured softly, his golden eyes calm as galaxies. "For a toad, it's more than enough. In fact, it's overkill. Even if that toad once fought beside the Sage of Six Paths against Kaguya Ōtsutsuki for months, in the end… it's still just a frog trapped in this tiny world."
He caught the storm of annihilating Lightning in his hand as if it were a mere trinket, then casually tossed it into the torn space before him.
Mount Myōboku—like the other two great holy lands—existed outside the ninja world, hidden in a pocket dimension similar to Kamui's space.
Ordinary humans could never enter it without the mountain's permission, much less attack it.
That was the secret of its survival for thousands of years.
But before Jaeger, a "different-dimensional space" was no more impenetrable than a sheet of paper.
He tore it apart as easily as breathing.
"Ssszzzttttt——!!"
Black lightning poured from the heavens like endless rain, engulfing Mount Myōboku in an instant.
Countless toads and nin-frogs never even realized they were being attacked before they were reduced to ash. The mountains, rivers, and forests—all were erased by Lightning that devoured stars.
"Wh-What is this?! These black Lightnings—what are they! A Bloodline Limit? A Bloodline Snare?! Even Kaguya Ōtsutsuki didn't wield such destruction!"
The Great Toad Sage, his ancient eyes wide, gathered every drop of natural energy across Myōboku, forming a vast shield of protection. His voice trembled between rage and disbelief as he gazed upon the collapsing holy land.
The world he had guarded for millennia… was dying.
"No… calm yourself!" he muttered, forcing his voice steady. "Even if Mount Myōboku falls, as long as I live, it can be rebuilt! The others—Toadmaru, the young ones—they can be replaced! But I… I am eternal!"
He gritted his teeth, gathering natural energy until the air itself vibrated. "This Lightning may be terrifying, but it cannot surpass nature! I once fought beside Hagoromo and battled Kaguya for months! I won't fall to a mere bolt of—"
"Eh…?"
The Great Toad Sage froze.
Before his wide eyes, the black Lightning above thickened—growing larger, darker, and infinitely more violent. Its aura spiked in a heartbeat, rising from cataclysmic to divine.
[Wasn't it already at full power?! What… what kind of monster did Jiraiya and the others mess with?!]
Despair filled his ancient heart.
A single crack echoed—the sound of his protective barrier shattering.
In the next moment, the divine Lightning fell, swallowing him whole.
The Sage who once fought Ōtsutsuki Kaguya beside the Sage of Six Paths… perished like any other creature before the storm.
Ninja World.
Realizing that the Great Toad Sage had actually resisted his Lightning Noble Phantasm—even though Jaeger hadn't unleashed it at full strength—was enough to make him raise an eyebrow. So the old frog truly could fight alongside the Sage of Six Paths, huh?
Still… it was meaningless.
Even without releasing the Lightning to its final, Anti-Star level, the Great Toad Sage could no longer hold on.
As countless minor Noble Phantasms materialized in his God's Vault, Jaeger only glanced over the pile of junk and focused on the two real prizes.
First, the surge of power granted by the Hero's Trial.
After all, a teacher who accidentally kills a disciple… still counts as teaching.
The Great Toad Sage might not have been true Six Paths tier, but he was close enough—a quasi-divine being. By devouring his essence, along with every lesser toad of Mount Myōboku, Jaeger had absorbed the equivalent of one and a half suns. His life-level, physical might, and Solar Authority all rose yet again.
Second, a new Noble Phantasm.
Among the heap of trivial artifacts looted from Myōboku, only one gleamed with genuine worth—and the sight of it brought a rare, satisfied smile to Jaeger's face.
"It seems the old toad's finally croaked," Kasumigaoka Utaha purred, curled against his chest. "And my dear World Noble looks very pleased. What treasure did you pick up this time?"
Jaeger chuckled softly. "Future Perspective."
A strange light flickered within his eyes—colors twisting, collapsing, and rebirthing like miniature galaxies.
In that instant, he saw countless branching fates:
the upcoming melee between himself, Angel Leng, Utaha, Konan, Rin Nohara, and others…
Tsunade and Kushina refusing to join their chaotic "party," forcing him to open a separate one just for those two shy women…
and Madara—who, instead of following them to Konoha for peace—charging straight in to bully Danzō.
He saw Madara collecting the remains of his brother Izuna, preparing to perform the Reincarnation and Rebirth Arts to restore him.
He even saw a certain kunoichi whose destiny would twist because of him—who would rise from obscurity to become both his woman and a giant of the ninja world.
All of it unfolded before his eyes, not as guesses, but as certainty.
"Wait—Future Vision?!" Utaha blinked in shock. "So Mr. World Noble can actually see the future?"
"That's right."
Jaeger smiled, eyes still shimmering like dual suns.
Angel Leng frowned, her analytical mind spinning. "Predicting the future… The Great Clock and Queen Kesa's Vault of Sacred Knowledge can do that through computation—celestial algorithms. That's science. But Future Vision? That's… metaphysics."
Her wings shifted restlessly. "I can't detect any calculation, deduction, or probability collapse in your power. How can you predict without logic? That shouldn't even be possible!"
Madara crossed his arms. "Hmph. Then tell me, Jaeger—what am I going to do next?"
Jaeger's smile deepened. "Resurrect Uchiha Izuna."
"…You're kidding. It's actually true?" Madara's eyes narrowed with equal parts awe and irritation. "First you master concepts, then you link to the roots of existence, and now you can see the future. At this point, you're basically walking toward omniscience. One day, you'll really become a god."
"It's far too early for that."
The divine glow in Jaeger's eyes faded, leaving behind the familiar twin sigils of sun and moon. He stroked Utaha's hair with an easy smile. "After all, this isn't true foresight—it's just the Noble Phantasm's effect. I have to actively look to glimpse anything."
He leaned back lazily. "Besides, seeing the future doesn't matter much. If I can beat someone, I don't need foresight. If I can't beat them, seeing the future still won't help. In the end—strength decides everything. As long as I'm strong enough, even fate can be crushed with force."
"…You know, that actually makes sense," Madara muttered, though the corner of his mouth twitched. Does he have to sound that smug about it?
Maybe Jaeger truly didn't care about this power. But Madara did.
If he had Future Vision, he'd already be unstoppable.
Too bad he couldn't just ask for it. Their connection in the group wasn't that close—less than what Jaeger shared with Konan or Rin, certainly less than the seductive Utaha lounging in his arms.
As he watched her smile contentedly against Jaeger's chest, a new, uncharacteristic emotion flared in Madara's heart.
Jealousy.
"Tch… damn it," he grumbled internally. "Women really do have it easy. If only Izuna had been born a girl, I wouldn't have to work this hard!"
"Your Highness Jaeger!"
Uchiha Miyuki clearly had no idea what "terrible" things Uchiha Madara was secretly brooding over. Her eyes were shining as she looked up at Jaeger.
"Since you can see the future, then check mine too! Can I save Izumi, Mikoto, and Yuhi Kurenai? And… what's Danzō going to do next?"
Jaeger reopened his future vision, the divine patterns in his eyes flickering.
"Uchiha Izumi, Uchiha Mikoto, and Yuhi Kurenai are currently being held inside the Uchiha clan compound," he said slowly. "Looks like news of Uchiha Fugaku's death still hasn't gotten back. The Uchiha are functioning normally. I saw you rescue them smoothly—no casualties, no injuries."
Everyone let out a breath. Tsunade leaned forward.
"Then what about Danzō? He won't actually run away, will he?"
All eyes turned to Jaeger. Future prediction was rare enough, but Jaeger's was absurdly detailed, to the point of being… entertaining.
Jaeger snorted.
"As for Danzō… that guy discovers Mount Myōboku's destruction a few hours later and immediately starts panicking. He actually considers running. At the same time, he hesitates over whether to continue publicly executing Sarutobi Hiruzen to stabilize his rule as Fourth Hokage."
"Then?" Tsunade pressed. "He doesn't really run, right?"
"He doesn't." Jaeger sneered. "After struggling, he still chooses to believe in his own strength. He thinks that even if I killed the Great Toad Sage, I still wouldn't be able to break through his 'infinity'. That guy… he swallowed a half-baked Reincarnator and suddenly thinks he's invincible."
Three hours passed after Jaeger obtained the Future Vision Noble Phantasm.
Just like he saw:
Uchiha Madara really did leave early to look for his younger brother Izuna's remains, preparing to resurrect him even at the cost of some of his own life force.
Jaeger used rune characters to construct a temporary inherent barrier again and… invited all the women present to the "party."
In the end, only Tsunade, Uzumaki Kushina, and Shizune didn't join.
When the second hour came, under Senju Nawaki's coaxing and Uchiha Miyuki's dramatic wailing, Tsunade and Kushina finally blushed and stepped into the inherent barrier—but firmly declared they would not join a group session.
Jaeger: "…"
So he had no choice but to create a separate barrier just for the two shy women… and then he dragged the confused, innocent Shizune in too, leaving a nice, long-lasting psychological shadow in her heart.
So far, aside from the part where he deliberately pulled Shizune in, everything happened exactly as Jaeger had seen in the future.
Which proved something important:
the future he saw was not a fixed fate.
It could be altered.
That was what made this Noble Phantasm truly valuable.
"If the future can be changed…" Jaeger muttered to himself, holding a tearful Tsunade, Kushina, and Shizune in his arms, "then if I use Future Vision and see that I drew a trash reward… I can just change the time I draw and get a better one, right?"
He narrowed his eyes.
"With Luo Hao's enhancement… can I even patch this bug?"
Thinking that, Jaeger opened the chat group and sent a package straight to Luo Hao.
Jaeger: "[Package] — after ten minutes, help me strengthen this Noble Phantasm."
Luo Hao: "OK."
The moment Luo Hao replied, Jaeger activated Future Vision—and immediately saw the result: the Noble Phantasm shattered ten minutes later.
Jaeger frowned.
"...Wait. Make it thirty minutes instead."
Luo Hao: "…fine."
Jaeger peeked into the future again—same result. Shattered.
So he kept going.
Change the timing, the pose, the coordinates.
Ten times.
Twenty.
Fifty.
Every single prediction ended with the same scene—failure.
Eventually, Jaeger sighed and came to a conclusion.
"The results of Luo Hao's strengthening… and even the chat group's lottery draws… are fixed from the start. No amount of timing or trickery can change them."
He shook his head, disappointed but calm.
"As expected, finding a bug in the chat group system is damn near impossible."
Still, he didn't dwell on it. Strengthening and lottery draws were meant to be thrilling because of their unpredictability.
If he could control them at will, it'd be like turning on infinite money in a game—fun for five minutes, boring forever.
Of course… he totally wasn't saying that just to comfort himself after failing to exploit the system. Definitely not.
Meanwhile, in the chat group—
Luo Hao: "So, after all that, Erica and Liliana now think I've lost my mind. Jaeger, what the hell were you even doing?"
Jaeger: "Experimenting with the new Noble Phantasm I got—Future Vision. I wanted to test if I could fix the group's system bug. Didn't work."
Scáthach: "...You should've asked. I already tried something similar using Clairvoyance. Failed too. Obviously, the chat group has protection against future interference."
Jaeger: "Yeah… now that I think about it, that makes sense. There are plenty of people with precognition-type powers across the worlds. If they could all manipulate events freely, the system would've collapsed ages ago."
Luo Hao: "Hah! Fine then. Enough about your divine experiments. Why's no one talking? Haven't you all started the Naruto world quests yet?"
Jaeger: "Leng and Utaha just finished fighting me—they're recovering their energy. Uchiha Miyuki's probably still sulking. After all, her best friend Kushina is now completely mine."
Eriri Sawamura: "…Watching your favorite heroines get stolen by another man really does feel like a plot twist from a novel. I feel bad for Miyuki."
Uchiha Miyuki: "…Don't talk to me! I'm done with love. I'm killing Danzō and becoming Hokage! Women are distractions!"
Uchiha Miyuki: "Your Highness Jaeger, according to what you saw earlier, Danzō should have discovered the Mount Myōboku incident by now, right?"
Jaeger: "Yeah. If nothing went wrong, he should be finding out right about now."
The Land of Fire — Konoha, Rebuilt Hokage Office
"M-Myōboku Mountain… completely annihilated. Not a trace left. The Great Toad Sage—likely dead. And the residual energy… lightning? Such horrifying Lightning… Could it be the work of that Reincarnator, Uchiha Miyuki? Has she awakened some otherworldly power?!"
Danzō Shimura's face twisted with confusion and greed. His original plan had been to seek an alliance with Mount Myōboku, but that path was now gone—literally erased. For a moment, he stared blankly at the report, then slowly began to grin.
"Heh… Lightning, huh? Nothing to fear. I might have to worry about spatial powers, but elemental ones? Even ten thousand bolts of lightning can't bypass my Infinity."
His Six eyes gleamed with arrogance.
"Execution… proceeds as planned."
