Chapter 183 - Chapter 183: Baddest Man

"Hahh, so this is the new girl Mr. World Noble's taken an interest in? You two are really going all out—playing such dangerous games right in the street."

Kasumigaoka Utaha looked at Pakura with a teasing smile. "I have to admire him. He really doesn't waste time, does he? Finding such a beauty this quickly... Mr. World Noble's taste is as sharp as ever."

"A Jōnin from the Hidden Sand Village in the Land of Wind?" Tsunade narrowed her eyes. "Here to see the execution of that bastard Danzō Shimura? Wait—this face… you're that Pakura, the Hero of the Sand!"

Her tone darkened. "There's a fifty-million-ryō bounty on your head in the underground market. You're practically a walking jackpot."

She clenched her fists, eyes flashing with greed. "If I nab you, I won't have to worry about gambling debts for a while…"

"Mr. Jaeger…"

Nohara Rin pouted resentfully. "You just slept with all of us, and now you're already flirting with another woman? Are we not enough for you?"

Uzumaki Kushina sighed, patting Rin's head. "You'll get used to it. This is Jaeger we're talking about—he's a total scumbag. His favorite hobby is finding new girls to chase."

"That's right!"

Angel crossed her arms, giving Jaeger a sharp glare. "The only difference between Jaeger and that coward from Galaxy Power is that Jaeger actually has guts. That loser became a god and still couldn't handle a two-girl harem."

Jaeger chuckled, unbothered by the tension. "It's just a coincidence. When I see a beautiful woman with a tragic fate, ignoring her would be bad manners, don't you think?"

Without a shred of panic at being surrounded by furious women, he calmly waved away the holo-screen that had been playing a movie and turned to them. "Anyway, what are you six doing here? Where's Naoki, Shizune, Konan, and the others?"

"They're in Shikkotsu Forest," Tsunade replied, rolling her eyes. "The Slug Sage said that Naoki and Konan have good potential and decided to teach them Sage Mode personally. But they're still weak, so I didn't bring them to Konoha to stir up trouble."

As she spoke, she cast a disdainful glance at Pakura, who was pinned down beside them. "Tch. Hero of the Sand, huh? Strength, looks, background—everything about her screams average. She's nowhere near my level."

Feeling triumphant, Tsunade turned toward Jaeger with a smug grin. "Don't tell me you can't predict something this simple with that future-sight ability of yours?"

Jaeger shrugged. "It's not like I keep the Noble Phantasm running all day. I only use it when I feel like peeking ahead."

In the blink of an eye, he appeared behind Tsunade—arms wrapping around the voluptuous blonde and the petite Rin, one on each side. "Alright, alright. Don't get jealous over small things. I'm an arrogant, lust-filled man—if you frown every time, you'll get wrinkles, and that'd be a shame."

"Y-yes, Mr. Jaeger…" Rin replied meekly, her cheeks flushing red.

Even after everything they'd done, she still looked up to him with nervous admiration—almost reverence. Maybe it was because of the Three-Tails' influence, but even her jealousy felt hesitant, like a timid girl scolding her lover.

Tsunade, on the other hand, had long since given up pretending. After she and Shizune shared more than a few wild nights with Jaeger, she'd become far more relaxed—acting like a wife who'd seen it all.

Resting comfortably in his embrace, she eyed Pakura with a playful smirk. "Want me to catch her for you? I can let you enjoy the so-called Hero of the Sand firsthand."

"No need," Jaeger said with a faint smile. His gaze softened as it met Pakura's. "We're already connected by fate—savior and saved. There's no need for force, right, Miss Pakura?"

Pakura didn't answer. She could feel every eye on her, sharp and dangerous.

At the same time, she observed them carefully—and what she saw left her shaken.

Tsunade, the Legendary Sannin.

Uchiha Miyuki, the Shura Yaksha who crushed Iwagakure.

Uzumaki Kushina, the Nine-Tails' jinchūriki.

Nohara Rin, the Three-Tails' host.

And two women she couldn't even identify—each giving off a terrifying aura.

Even if she ignored the unknowns, the four she did recognize could probably wipe out Sunagakure by themselves.

And they were all close to this man named Jaeger. Could he be a Konoha ninja too? No… someone like him couldn't have gone unnoticed.

But it didn't matter. What mattered was that she'd stumbled straight into a nightmare—surrounded by Konoha's most dangerous women.

"Scorch Release: Burning Steam Kill!"

Without hesitation, Pakura unleashed a barrage of blazing orbs—each hot enough to reduce a Jōnin to ash—before vanishing in a flash, using the Body Flicker Technique to flee into the distance.

Pakura's speed was terrifying.

Even Uzumaki Kushina and Nohara Rin — both jinchūriki blessed with monstrous chakra — couldn't react in time. That alone proved how exceptional Pakura's abilities truly were.

"Ahh, your little lover just ran off, Mr. World Noble."

Kasumigaoka Utaha's lips curved into a smug, teasing grin.

"I'll go after her!"

With a crack of stone under her heel, Tsunade's face hardened. She was ready to dash forward without hesitation.

Sure, she'd been jealous a moment ago, but Jaeger had always treated her kindly — and she was his woman now. His will was her will.

Besides, Konoha and the Hidden Sand were still at war. Pakura, the Hero of the Sand, had taken countless Leaf lives on the battlefield. As the proud Princess of Konoha, Tsunade would never let her go so easily.

Not that she'd kill her — Jaeger's interest made that impossible — but she could at least drag Pakura back and turn her into Konoha's "heroine" instead of Suna's.

"You should drop it. Your hemophobia hasn't gone away yet, has it? What if something happens while you're chasing her?"

Jaeger caught Tsunade gently by the wrist, his tone calm but firm.

"What—? But we can't just let her escape, can we?"

Her eyes wavered. She'd almost forgotten her old trauma, but the fact that Jaeger remembered so precisely made her heart ache in a strangely warm way. Still, the thought of losing such a bounty made her restless.

That was when Utaha's lazy voice drifted in again.

"Since Mr. World Noble is too lazy to do it himself, I guess I'll have to do the work for him. Ugh, such a tragic life I lead…"

Despite the mock complaint, there was mischief in her eyes. With a flick of her fingers, she whispered a command only she could hear — and the gears of time themselves came to a halt.

Click—!

The world froze.

Pakura stopped mid-stride, suspended in motion like a sculpture. The fiery orbs she'd unleashed seconds before now hovered in the air, motionless and blazing with silent fury.

"Poof."

Utaha casually brushed one aside, the fireball dissipating like smoke. Then she began walking toward Pakura, heels clicking against the still earth.

"There are four seconds left," she murmured to herself, counting the time remaining in her stop-world.

Her gaze trailed down Pakura's smooth back, and she sighed softly.

"In Miyuki's words, 'it's really hard to cup a back like this.' What a waste. Mr. World Noble really does have good taste — a powerful kunoichi with the beauty to match. If I were a man, I wouldn't let her slip away either."

Her expression turned thoughtful. "Then again… how many women does it take to satisfy him?"

A chuckle echoed through the stillness.

"I doubt I'll ever be satisfied. It's like corruption — whether you steal ten billion or a hundred billion, it doesn't change your lifestyle, does it? But greed never ends. That's human nature."

The voice came from behind her.

Jaeger's voice.

Utaha froze — literally trembling in a world where time itself had stopped.

"You— Mr. World Noble… how are you moving right now?!"

She turned, eyes wide with disbelief. Jaeger stood there effortlessly, still brushing his hand through Tsunade's golden hair as if nothing in the world had changed.

She'd tested this ability dozens of times before — her time-stop covered the entire universe. Even when she'd first kissed Jaeger, she'd done it while time was frozen, knowing he couldn't move.

So when did that change?

"Since I awakened the bloodline of the Ōtsutsuki Clan and gained my own time-stop ability — nine seconds, to be exact," Jaeger said with a grin. "I can move freely even when your world stands still. What, didn't I mention it before?"

Utaha's jaw dropped.

"Of course you didn't, Mr. World Noble!"

Inside, she let out a sigh of relief. Good thing I stopped trying to tease him during time-freeze like I used to… otherwise he'd have had endless blackmail material.

Jaeger laughed softly and raised his hand, pointing toward the immobilized Pakura.

"Well then, just a heads-up, Utaha—"

He snapped his fingers.

"There's only one second left."

"Hey, one second is plenty! Besides, I could've caught her without time-stop — I just like making my entrances look cooler."

Kasumigaoka Utaha gave a soft snort, the corners of her mouth curving smugly. With a sharp stomp, the ground beneath her cracked open, leaving a crater several meters wide.

Her body blurred — a streak of motion slicing through the frozen air — and in the next instant she appeared right behind Pakura.

Time resumed.

Snap!

Pakura, whose mind was still on the run, suddenly felt a slender hand clamp around the back of her neck.

"A woman's palm?"

For a split second she couldn't tell whether it was Uchiha Miyuki or Tsunade who had caught her. The only thing she knew — whoever it was moved faster than she could perceive.

But Pakura didn't panic. Her instincts as a veteran kunoichi kicked in.

In one fluid motion, she used the Substitution Jutsu to break free, spun on her heel to deliver a backward kick, and at the same time launched a barrage of scorching fireballs — a perfect three-point counterattack aimed at forcing her pursuer back.

BOOM!

Her heel struck solid flesh — or so she thought. The shockwave blasted dust into the air, yet the one she'd hit didn't even budge.

Instead, Pakura winced in pain.

"Ah— it hurts…!"

Her right leg throbbed; the bones felt like they'd just collided with solid steel instead of a human limb.

Utaha tilted her head slightly, her crimson eyes gleaming with amusement.

"My, my~ what a feisty little wildcat. You've got spirit… and that's adorable."

She smiled like a cat toying with its prey, utterly unbothered.

"Damn you!"

Pakura spun around, expecting to see either Tsunade or Miyuki — the two names that haunted the ninja world.

Instead, what greeted her was a woman she didn't recognize: long black hair, red eyes, an elegant figure radiating calm menace.

Who is this?

(That strength… that body control! She could probably crush a Jōnin using only taijutsu! What kind of monsters does Konoha breed these days?)

Still, Pakura's fear didn't outweigh her pride. Seeing this stranger stand there without dodging, she smirked.

Big mistake.

Her Scorch Release — heat hot enough to desiccate a Jōnin into ash — surged forth.

In her career, countless arrogant opponents had been reduced to mummified husks after underestimating her technique. This woman would be no different.

Or so she thought.

Slap!

Utaha casually lifted her hand and flicked her wrist — a light, almost lazy motion and the deadly fireballs scattered like harmless sparks, dispersing into the air as if they'd never existed.

"Eh… !?"

Pakura's eyes widened in disbelief. Her Scorch Release — a technique that could mummify a Jōnin in an instant — had just been slapped away like nothing.

In all her years as a shinobi, she had never encountered something so absurd.

For once, the battle-hardened hero of Sunagakure was completely stunned.

"Surprised by something that small?"

Kasumigaoka Utaha smiled playfully, tilting her head. "Come now — the power that Mr. World Noble just showed you should be far beyond mine, right?"

Seeing Pakura's dazed expression, she laughed softly.

"Let me guess — it's because your strength and perception are still too low. You can feel my power because it's within your reach. But his?"

Her crimson eyes glimmered.

"You can't even comprehend it."

"..."

Pakura stayed silent, but inside her mind was a storm.

Is this woman even a ninja?

She couldn't sense a shred of chakra from Utaha. Not even from that man — Jaeger.

And that title — Mr. World Noble.

What kind of rank was that? She'd lived more than twenty years in the ninja world and had never once heard of such a thing.

Then — it hit her.

"I'm not from this planet. I'm a traveler from another world."

Those words Jaeger had spoken earlier suddenly echoed in her mind.

At the time, she had dismissed them as arrogance or a bad joke.

But now… her heart raced.

Could they really be from outside the ninja world? Like beings from another realm — summoned beasts who crossed dimensions for their own purpose?

And if that was true — why were Konoha's strongest kunoichi — Tsunade and Uchiha Miyuki — so close to him?

Were they… working together?

The more she thought, the colder her blood ran.

If what she'd stumbled into was real, this wasn't just an affair between villages — it was a conspiracy that could shake the entire world.

Her right leg still throbbed from earlier, but she forced herself to move.

She had to report this — to the Fourth Kazekage, to the elders — to anyone!

"I have to warn them…!"

She turned sharply and sprinted off again, desperate to escape.

Thwack!

A dull sound echoed through the clearing.

A slender hand struck the back of her neck, and before she could even register it, darkness swallowed her vision. Her body went limp, collapsing into unconsciousness.

"She figured something out, Mr. World Noble."

Kasumigaoka Utaha frowned slightly, holding Pakura's unconscious body in her arms as she turned to Jaeger.

Jaeger only smiled, calm as ever.

"I'd say she finally realized I wasn't lying earlier. Poor girl — must've scared her half to death."

"Mr. World Noble, you really are a bad man."

Utaha smirked, tossing Pakura lightly toward him. "So — what now? Want me to finish her off? She might already suspect that we're not from this world. If that rumor spreads, every ninja village will see us as enemies."

"Don't worry about it."

Jaeger caught Pakura easily, letting Tsunade and Rin slip from his embrace. Cradling the fallen kunoichi, he glanced down at her calm face and chuckled.

"She's not stupid. She'll make the right choice when she wakes."

He brushed a strand of Pakura's hair aside, his tone turning casual — almost amused.

"Besides, after tomorrow — when Danzō Shimura falls and Miyuki takes the title of Fourth Hokage — Konoha will become our base of operations in this world. Every other village will only have two options: surrender… or die."

He looked toward the horizon, eyes glinting.

"And once that happens, our identity as outsiders won't matter in the slightest."
