Chapter 108 - Chapter 107 - The Trident War

Looking at the bodies of Hoster and Brynden Tully, Cadmus looked at the kneeling Edmure with a touch of admiration. The two Tully brothers had horrible deaths from their expressions. All this came from a coward who didn't even have the courage to kill a chicken.

"I have to say, I'm amazed, Lord Edmure, I didn't imagine you had balls big enough to kill your father, much less your uncle." Cadmus didn't hide the praise in his words, making everyone look at him with a strange gaze.

However, looking at the cowardly Edmure, everyone nodded; no one would really imagine that Edmure was capable of such a heinous act.

"I will not kill you, Lord Edmure." Viserys looked at Edmure, trapped and kneeling, with a playful look. "My brother will love it when he hears the news of your capture and the death of the Tully brothers. He'll probably wake up smiling for a whole month."

"I am the son-in-law of the Lion of Casterly Rock!" Edmure, who had been easily captured by the guards, shouted loudly as he struggled fiercely, but the chains around his body prevented him from actually moving.

Cadmus, Viserys, and Jon looked at Edmure as if they were seeing a mentally ill person. They couldn't believe they were hearing those words. Using Tywin as a shield? If Tywin heard what happened in House Tully's castle, he probably wouldn't even want his name associated with such a crime and man.

Even Tywin probably wouldn't be able to sleep peacefully next to a man capable of killing his own father and uncle. After all, in this world, family was much more important than anything else. Everything could be exchanged for the continuity of one's own family.

One of the guards approached Viserys and spoke with a solemn tone. "My prince, the army of the Westerlands was seen twenty kilometers from Riverrun by the scouts."

Viserys's face became solemn; this was not House Tully's army, it was a true army armed to the teeth and wearing armor. Not only that; it was an army that had already participated in a war, that is, veterans who had already seen blood. Much better than the currently trained soldiers of House Targaryen.

"Viserys, do you want me to stay?" Cadmus asked with a calm tone; he was quite curious about the Sacred Relic of House Lannister. He already had one and was doing some quite interesting experiments, but he wouldn't refuse a second. However, he had to keep an eye on Harrenhal, especially after killing thirty mages from Ban Ard.

After all, just like knights, each mage was not made overnight; it took years and a lot of money. If he were the leader of Ban Ard, he would probably want to kill the assassin of thirty mages at all costs.

"No need, our army has to be baptized once to be considered an elite army. This war is beneficial, especially now that we have taken Riverrun." Viserys refused Cadmus's presence on the battlefield.

Cadmus nodded and spoke with a calm tone. "Anyway, don't take risks and let me know if you need help; I can come at any time."

Viserys looked at his brother-in-law and felt that Cadmus was more his brother than his own brother, Rhaegar. "Don't worry, when this war is over, we'll have fun and complete the challenge of the seven!"

"Challenge of the seven?" Cadmus looked at Viserys confused.

"Yes, we're going to try the prostitutes of the Seven Kingdoms!" Viserys said with a laugh, making everyone around laugh; everyone had looks that every man recognized.

Cadmus was speechless at Viserys's frivolity in sleeping with prostitutes. He didn't despise that type of woman, but asking him to sleep with one was something he didn't want. Not to mention diseases, kissing a whore's mouth is the same as kissing hundreds of different penises.

Honestly, he admired the man capable of doing such a feat without changing his expression.

"Tell my brother that I will prevent the Lannister army from reaching the Trident, that he should destroy the Baratheon and Arryn army as quickly as possible." Knowing that Cadmus was leaving, Viserys asked Cadmus to send a message to his brother in the Trident.

Cadmus nodded, but didn't leave immediately; he had to talk to the beautiful mage he had seen earlier.

Saying goodbye to Viserys and Jon, Cadmus followed the trail of the Tracking spell and arrived in front of a room. Gently knocking on the door with his knuckles, he heard a sensual female voice.

"You may enter, my lord."

Cadmus opened the door without any hesitation and saw a beautiful woman with flaming red hair, wearing quite revealing clothes and a beautiful cleavage, boasting a beautiful pair of full breasts.

"I presume you are from Aretuza?" Cadmus appreciated the beautiful image of the mage and asked with a smile. The woman was not with Stregobor, so she was probably a spy from Aretuza. As he didn't see the spy mage that Stregobor placed next to Hoster, he presumed that the woman before him had already gotten rid of that mage.

"Correct, my dear Grand Master." Before the mage with a colossal amount of magical energy, Triss was extremely polite. She feared that at any moment a terrifying spell would fall upon her beautiful body, something she did not wish for under any circumstances.

She had seen the fight of the mage before her with Stregobor; she had never seen such a crazy and powerful magical fight in her life. So, she had great respect for the mage capable of capturing a Grand Mage like Stregobor alive.

"From the memories I managed to extract from Stregobor, he had a spy mage next to Hoster." Cadmus sat down before the mage and asked with a beautiful and elegant smile.

"It was a mage named Ian Grenn, he fled when your fight against Stregobor began." Triss spoke with a touch of admiration in her voice. She wasn't as cautious as a mage from Ban Ard, which embarrassed her a little. But she knew that her arrogance caused all the current problems.

"That little rat really fled in time." Cadmus sighed with a touch of helplessness. He was sure that Ban Ard already knew of his deeds and needed to return to Harrenhal to complete some more magical defenses.

Unfortunately, he had many things to do before he could go destroy that damned magical academy on another continent.

Damned war, damned Night King, damned annoying gods.

Cadmus grumbled in his mind, but didn't let his feelings show on his expression.

"May I ask what a beautiful mage was doing disguised as a mere maidservant?" Cadmus asked with a smile, but there was no gentle or warm tone on his face, it was more of an order than a question.

"I received a request from a friend to watch Stregobor, that guy was crazy enough to even kill a girl he shouldn't have killed. My friend also wanted to know the results of the prophecy research." Before Cadmus and the smile that didn't reach his eyes, Triss didn't hesitate and told everything without hiding anything.

As for lying, she didn't dare, not before someone so powerful and dangerous. Yennefer certainly wouldn't blame her for revealing her plans.

"Prophecies? That kind of thing is useless; tell your friend to focus on the present. Often, because of the person's own intervention, it will make the prophecy come true." Cadmus said with a smile, but his next words made Triss feel a chill.

"By the way, if you enter my territory again without my authorization, I will have to rip that beautiful head from your beautiful body. Are we understood, miss?" Cadmus said with a smile, but his green eyes looked like the eyes of an extremely poisonous snake.

After learning that Ban Ard or Aretuza were eyeing prophecy girls, he blacklisted these two magical academies. Anyone who dared to even harm his wife didn't need to exist.

"Tell your academy: Westeros is my territory and I hate little rats hiding in their holes devouring my food." Cadmus looked at the beautiful woman as if she were a corpse, and he was ready to kill the woman if she dared to try to escape or anything else.

Triss only felt an immense pressure fall upon her; it was as if a mountain had been placed on her shoulders, forcing her to look down. She didn't doubt for a moment that she would die if she tried to do anything.

With a face as pale as paper, with sweat running down her beautiful face, Triss clenched her teeth and spoke with a gentle and elegant tone. "I understand, my lord. I will not set foot on the continent of Westeros without due prior invitation."

Note: I was playing Pragmata. I know the game is probably a birth rate campaign in Japan, but I can't prove it. However, Capcom did a good job and now I want to be a father to a girl.
