Chapter 7 - Demons of the Hun clan!

With the little tiger at hand, Su Han still let Wu Feng bury the adult tiger corpse.

Once the hole was filled, the two of them resumed their journey, and for some reason, Su Han discovered he was far calmer than before.

He was sure he knew the source of this calmness.

The little tiger's ability to ward off misfortunes was what made him calm.

It couldn't be blamed on him, after all, this world wasn't some good place to begin with.

Awoo!

After moving for about half a day downstream, the little toger he was carrying began wailing.

"Huh! This little thing is finally willing to wake up." He complained as he looked at the strange, clear tiger eyes, vigilantly scanning the surroundings.

"What are you struggling for? It's not like you have the strength to even walk on your own right!" He scolded the little tiger while his finger flicked its head.

"By the way, boss! Humans clearly injured the adult tiger. How did it manage to escape?" Wu Feng asked as he led the way.

"How could I know? But I suspect that tiger was not ordinary. Since we have taken away this little tiger, it seems that we have become enemies of the person who killed its parents." He replied as he stroked the tiger's back.

The wailing sound gradually faded, and the tiger cub closed its eyes and fell into sleep again.

"You have to grow up, and perhaps in the future, I will let you guard the main entrance of the Eternal Bank I set up," he looked at the tiger with a strange gaze.

Indeed! Su Han had no plans to give up on opening a bank, especially after he had managed to escape the Hun clan's control.

It might not be easy, but he wanted to try.

With the luck boost, perhaps the benefits it might bring him are more than what he could imagine.

Not bothering to continue his fantasies anymore, he focused on his current situation.

"You say, since we don't have identification, it might be difficult for us to purchase property right?" He then seemed to have thought about something before bringing up with Wu Feng.

"What identification?" Wu Feng, on the other hand, seemed not to have realized the seriousness of the problem.

"Nothing!" Su Han didn't continue to mention this issue.

"I heard some stories about martial arts schools while working in the cold mines from the slaves that had been brought in from the outside. Those without bloodlines and potential of strong clans end up setting up their own martial schools and dojos. It is just that this is considered low-level inheritance, after all; without a bloodline, one can't achieve much on the path of cultivation. But this is our chance." Su Han was thinking differently.

Since he had no bloodline talent to boast of to begin with, he would just spend a fortune for the two of them to enrol in a martial dojo.

According to the information he had gathered, some regions were controlled by martial schools and dojos. It was much better to go this route, and with the identity of a martial school disciple, some things could be done conveniently.

Without a proper identity, he couldn't even own a property, but things would change once he took this path.

Joining a dojo had more benefits for the two of them than just having an identity.

In a town formed by a collection of Martial Dojo's it was convenient to start a business or even set up one's own power as long as he didn't affect the interests of the dojo he joined.

With these plans all made, the two of them walked farther and farther and managed to avoid danger. It would be okay to say they encountered no dangers along the way.

By the time evening arrived, they set up camp by the river, and Su Han walked by the river, barely capturing some mudfish.

Setting up the fire wasn't a big deal, as he had done this more since he started to live in the cold mines.

It was also due to the benefit of Heaven Rewards Hardwork gift from the system.

On the other side.

The Hun clan's cold mine had been ambushed by two neighboring clans, causing massive deaths of those in the mine.

The cold ores mined were stollen and mine entrances destroyed.

When the reinforcements from the Hun clan arrived, the thieves had already left.

Currently standing above the mines was Su Han's biological father, and the current head of the Hun clan.

The corpse of Uncle Nine was brought out by some elders and put before the Hun clan head.

He looked at the corpse and asked, "Any survivors?"

"The mine has no survivors. During the invasion, the interior of the mine collapsed, and due to the extremely low temperatures, all those inside had already been deemed dead." The elder who had brought the body replied.

The Hun clan head didn't even have a change in expression after he heard of this, but his brows furrowed.

"Have you figured out who did it?" He then asked another question.

"Isn't it obvious who did it? The Lei and Xiao clan are definitely not innocent in this matter." One of the elders responded with anger, clearly written all over his face.

The robbery of Cold Ores was clearly a direct slap in the face of the Hun clan and, more importantly, a reduction in resources for him.

He wasn't the only one who had an ugly expression.

To them, the death of trash was not important. The loss of cold ores was a big deal, and from the beginning to the end, no one mentioned the dead mortals that had failed to awaken their bloodlines.

Even the Hun clan head, upon hearing about the cold ores, felt anger rising deep inside him. He wasn't this angry at the death of his clansmen.

From the beginning to the end, he never even asked about Su Han, as if this was just another insignificant person in his life.

This wasn't something shocking, as this man had many children, and only a few lucky ones managed to live long due to their bloodline awakening.

The killing intent rising from him caused the place to turn gloomy.

"Let's check things out, and if any of them are discovered to be selling cold ores and we can then use all means to recover our losses." He issued this instruction before rising into the air and vanishing.

The elders in place kept their heads down as they watched him leave. Until his figure couldn't be seen, they turned their heads.

The eyes of the elders turned to the body on the ground with greed clearly visible in their eyes.

The elder who had brought Su Han into the mine from the bloodline awakening sight took a step forward. He coughed, capturing everyone's attention.

cough!

cough!

cough!

"How about we take the usual approach. Whoever bids the highest takes the corpse away, and the rest will share the bid price." He then offered his opinion.

"Okay!" All of the elders present agreed, but the greed deep inside their eyes as they looked at the corpse couldn't be hidden at all.

This was indeed a demonic Den.

The shouts of bids erupted from each of the elders until only a few could continue.

Eventually, a red-eyed elder with a pale face won the bid.

He extended his long, black nailed hands and grasped the corpse, sniffing it with saliva almost dripping from the corners of his mouth.

"This old man shall be taking a step ahead." He rushed off, with the corpse of Uncle Nine being hailed behind him.

The rest of the elders shifted their greedy eyes from the corpse and looked at the pile of resources the elder had exchanged the corpse for.

"Let's choose!" One of the elders kept looking towards the red-eyed elder who had gone into the distance with an expression of loss.

He, however, turned his gaze on the pile of resources on the ground.

"Yes! Let's divide the treasures. I never imagined Old Red would be this generous." Another elder approached the pile, picking up what looked like a black skull.

Based on the way he was caressing the skull.

"Hun Ti! Put down that skull. You can't just select treasures arbitrarily. The treasures we each select have to be of equal quality." Someone else clearly seemed to be in love with the human skull.

Main Elder Hall of the Hun clan.

The clan head was sitting lost in thought.

'How come that trash's lifeline is still intact. It seems that even that trash has some luck to escape through this disaster. But this won't last long. I shall have his sister go out and clean the house. Our Hun clan doesn't tolerate trash.' Clearly, the old man had discovered that Su Han wasn't dead and wanted to have Luo Li finish the job.
