As I sat at the table, opening the first book, I started to look at the picture of the first monster that showed up. It had the information about its strengths and weaknesses. As I opened a program and scanned the image while typing the information on its abilities and weaknesses, I set it to a mild threat level.
I classify the targets as Extreme-Threat, Mild-Threat, and Threat. All enemies have a threat level; none aren't a threat. Just some are more of a threat than others; this is also true for back on earth. A bomber plane is more of a threat than a soldier; you wouldn't put a soldier on the same level as a bomber or a tank, would you?
Turning the page in the first book, as I worked on the program pulling out the chest of crystals, I started to absorb crystals as I read the book. The elve maids kept bringing books as I finished the second one. They stopped and spoke. "Sir Colt, these are all the books we have on monsters and demons that have pictures with them," Míriel said, smiling.
"Thank you, ladies. You can have a seat and relax now. Thank you for your hard work." I said, making the maids smile and nod as they took seats, watching me do three things at once. "Sir Colt, may I ask what you are doing?" Míriel asked me.
"I am working on what you could call the brain of my creation. I am gathering the information about its enemies so it can make choices in how it deals with them." I said, confusing the elves as I chuckled, waving my arm as the Hunter Killer Drone showed up in the opening that was at the end of the table, shocking the four elves.
"Is that a golem?" The pink-haired elf asked.
"Not quite, golems can't make choices and only really follow simple orders, and can't do advanced thinking. But it's kind of like a golem in the sense that it's something I made, it's the perfect weapon. It will hunt down any of my enemies until they aren't alive." I said, making the elves look at me and wonder why I would make a thing like that.
Míriel stood up from her seat and walked over to the Hunter-Killer Drone and spoke. "Can I touch it?" She asked me, and I smiled, nodding. Her fingers traced the body of the Hunter-Killer Drone as she spoke.
"It's made with a strong metal; its craftsmanship is amazing, Sir Colt." She said, smiling, as I spoke. "The metal is made to handle the 7.62 ammunition, which is the common round of the enemies of my country. It can even handle .50 cal in some spots, but this model can't handle too many of those rounds before being destroyed." I said, absorbing another crystal.
"It's amazing, Sir Colt. I can tell you put a lot of blood and sweat into making it." Míriel said, making me stand up and walk towards her as I pulled her into my embrace, as she yelped out. "Not now, Sir Colt!" She said, letting it escape, that she didn't mind me doing it another time as I spoke. "Your words make me want to love you more passionately than before," I said as giggles escaped from the other three as I kissed her and let go of her after a minute.
Walking back to the table, leaving a flustered Míriel standing there with a flushed face and her breathing rapid. I returned to uploading the pictures and info into my laptop, as I finished the fourth book, looking at the tower of books. I had about fifty more books to go through, picking up another book, when the library door opened and Princess Luthien and Arwen walked in with eight other women wearing crowns.
Míriel and the other maids stood up and bowed. "We welcome the Princesses." They said making me look at the women, I take it the other eight women are some of the other princesses of this Empire. I stood up as I smiled. "It's a pleasure to see you again, Luthien," I said.
"Colt, I am most grateful to you." She said, bowing a little as she handed me a scroll, and I opened it. It was a map and I laid it on the table before speaking. "Where are we on the map, and where is the Coffin of Rebirth?" I asked her.
She walked over gracefully, leaning near me as she pointed to the first place. "We are here, the place you need to go to is here. You have to pass through the Empire of Warish, then pass through the caves of the dark elf kingdom, and enter the Queendom of Nya. Then enter the wastelands before you enter the land of the dead. It will take about two months by carriage to get there." She explained.
"Where does the Demonlord Azel rule the land?" I asked, my voice cold, as she sighed, hearing what had happened from her friend. As she pointed to a land all away across from us. "He rules here. It will take you five to six months from the land of the dead to his domain if you don't come back here before going there." She said, knowing that I had only had one year.
So eight months to travel to the two places without coming back; if I return, I would be pushing it. As I contemplated my plans, I made up my mind to leave Tina in the Queendom of Nya once I complete everything down there. I can't risk taking her with me to the demon's domain. If I am to die, then it will be by myself. I can't expect her to die with me.
"Thank you, Luthien," I said before storing the map as she smiled and spoke. "Mother has asked me to invite you to dinner, as you are still here. We will leave the books as is so you can return to your work once you feel like it." She said, making me nod as I stored the Hunter-Killer Drone, the other Princesses had been eyeing it.
I saved the data I had worked on so far and put away the laptop and hard drive before returning to Luthien, as I spoke. "Please lead the way," I said, making her smile as we walked out of the library towards the dining hall. We entered the dining hall as the Empress was waiting. She smiled as she stood up.
"Colt, thank you for joining us for dinner." She said with a gentle smile, but I could see the seductive nature behind it as she looked at her daughters. I could tell the Empress was planning something, but it didn't seem malicious in nature, so I will let it play out.
"It's my pleasure to be able to eat with such beautiful women. I will hold this night in fond memories." I said, making her and the princesses chuckle as the Yavanna spoke.
"Aren't you a flurt, Colt? Come, let's enjoy the food and fine wine." She said, making me gulp, as this was the exact wine that I drank at the inn. Oh boy, looks like this night is one to really remember. That's if I do.
I looked at Arwen, and she looked away. Did she tell the Princess what happened? They both look like good friends, so if I had to wager, she did, but what exactly did she tell her? As I nodded and sat down, the maid poured us wine, and the Empress stood up to toast.
"To become close friends with, Colt. May this night give birth to an everlasting connection." She said with a seductive grin. Did she want me to get her or her daughters pregnant? Not that I mind it too much, as this would give me everything I need to live in this world while also taking care of the people I need to care for. As I raised my glass and cheered.
We downed the glass of wine, what comes will come. I should just learn to enjoy the ride; we all get what we want out of it. The dinner went without a problem as we talked about the world and my world, the women listening closely to my tales. They seemed to enjoy them, as I did, for giving them a glimpse into a different world.
"Shall we retreat to a more private place to keep drinking?" Yavanna said, standing up, and her daughters agreed, as Luthien and Arwen wrapped their arms around mine. "You will join us, won't you?" Luthien said, making me nod.
"Sure, I don't mind, ladies." I steeled myself for what was to come now. As we walked down a corridor to a room with a crescent moon-shaped couch, I noticed a bed to the side. It was big, making me gulp, and the elven woman chuckled.
"We won't bite. Most of us haven't touched a man before. But we find you worthy to touch us." Luthien whispered into my ear, making me smile, well, if they are offering their first times to me. What kind of man would I be to turn them down?
"Just remember, you ladies asked for it," I whispered back as I slid a hand to her ass and squeezed it, making her moan out lightly.
