Chapter 47 - Chapter 36: Intimacy(Part 1)

"Not taking a car?" Lin Wan asked curiously.

"Let's walk," Chen Jin said as he grabbed her hand, holding it firmly. He didn't bother putting on his coat, instead using his other hand to carry it.

The noodle shop was located on a street that wasn't very busy, and they were walking further and further away from the parking spot. The feeling of holding hands and walking like this made Lin Wan uneasy. Just as she was about to speak, she looked up and saw Chen Jin's short hair shining under the streetlights. Her heart skipped a beat because it reminded her of Wang Xiao. Every time he finished playing basketball, his short hair would be just like this, wet and sticking up in clusters like a hedgehog, but it looked good, very sunny.

Her throat tightened, and she held back the urge to speak, finally saying, "I can't walk anymore, let's go back."

Chen Jin didn't think much of it. "You ate so much just now. Think of this as a way to digest."

"I really can't walk anymore," Lin Wan's voice began to crack with a hint of tears as she tried to pull her hand away from him.

Chen Jin tightened his grip, amused. "I think you're just overstuffed. Usually, you eat like a little kitten, so if you suddenly eat so much, your stomach's bound to hurt." He looked at her face and was startled. "Oh no, you're starting to break out! Alright, alright, I'll stop teasing you. Let's go back to the car. Or do you want to go to the pharmacy and get some digestive tablets first?"

Back at the apartment, Lin Wan washed up and sat at the vanity, distractedly applying lotion to her face. Chen Jin, wearing a bathrobe, walked over with a towel in his hand, drying his hair. Then, he pulled out a red box from somewhere and handed it to her, saying, "Chen Xi helped pick it out. See if you like it? That girl thinks she has good taste."

Lin Wan took it, glanced at the box lid with the word "Cartier" on it, and thought, if it were any other woman, she'd probably be glowing with excitement, maybe even giving him a hug or a kiss. But her acting skills were still lacking. Seeing him standing there, seemingly expecting something, she opened the box half-heartedly. It turned out to be a simple diamond necklace, with a large, brilliant diamond.

She said flatly, "It's beautiful. Please thank Chen Xi for me."

"I'll help you put it on," Chen Jin said, tossing the towel aside. He walked around behind her and helped clasp the necklace around her neck. His movements weren't very skilled, and he even pinched some of her fine hair in the process. After fastening it, he looked at her reflection in the mirror. Her skin was smooth and porcelain-like, and her collarbone was straight and deep. The diamond, placed here, looked much better than it did in the box. He smiled and said, "Not bad. But you don't need to thank that girl. Buying a gift for her brother and then running errands for him, she's a little brat."

Lin Wan noticed how much he truly cared for his sister. When he said "little brat," his tone was full of affection, which sounded unfamiliar to her. She thought it must be so nice to have a sibling like him. He could spend lavishly without a second thought and could fix any mess she caused. He was like a hero—more capable than even the goddess Nuwa.

Chen Jin didn't know what she was thinking. Right now, his mind was full of another thought—about his ability. He reached out and picked Lin Wan up, placing her on the vanity. The movement was smooth, and then he lowered his head to kiss her earlobe, breathing hotly as he said, "I came back early to spend your birthday with you. Shouldn't you thank me, Wan Wan?"

Lin Wan dreaded when he called her that. Those two words had become his special term for when he was in the mood. She held back as best as she could but didn't resist. Chen Jin kissed her neck while murmuring in a slurred voice, "This damn thing's so annoying. If I'd known, I wouldn't have put it on." Then, he took a step forward and wedged himself between her legs, one hand supporting her neck, the other groping her chest over her nightgown.

Lin Wan felt uncomfortable as his teasing made her feel awkward. Her hands had nowhere to go, so she pressed down on the vanity for support. Suddenly, she felt a cold sensation on her back as her body was pressed against the mirror. Her nightgown had been pushed up to her chest. She had a terrible premonition. She knew it would do no good, but she still begged, "Not here."

"Wan Wan, you'll like it," Chen Jin responded, somehow managing to tease her even in the midst of his own pleasure.

She didn't like it. The position and situation made Lin Wan feel like she had no autonomy, like a puppet being controlled by him. She was still thinking, wouldn't this mean that every time she combed her hair in front of the mirror, she would have to remember this moment? Chen Jin had already invaded her thoughts. He pushed forward slowly, whispering in her ear, "Wan Wan, relax. You're squeezing me too tight."

Lin Wan's face flushed with embarrassment. Her body grew even more rigid. After hearing him grunt softly, he teased, "I told you to relax, but why did you get even tighter? You don't want to kill me this way, do you?" The more awkward she became, the more excited he seemed, "This is only going to turn me into a eunuch. Then you'd really be in trouble."

Chen Jin said this while lifting her hips to push himself deeper, and when he heard Lin Wan let out a muffled groan, he asked, "Does it hurt?" When she didn't respond, he became frustrated, saying, "It's always like this, you're acting like an idiot. Don't you know this kind of thing requires communication? We both need to feel good."

Then he sighed in frustration, "You don't understand anything. I have to teach you everything from scratch. It's really annoying."

Lin Wan hated these kinds of conversations. It would have been better if he had just done his own thing like before. Then, she could convince herself she had been bitten by a dog—dogs don't talk to people. But now, every word he said cruelly reminded her, reminding her of what they were doing, reminding her that he was inside her body.

From then on, she could no longer think clearly, because Chen Jin's movements were getting more and more intense. Her body felt completely out of control. Each thrust hit the mirror behind her with force, and the warm flesh and cold glass collided, stimulating her senses. The bottles and jars on the vanity rattled noisily, making an unbearable sound. She wanted to sweep them off the counter, but just as her hand reached for one, she froze. Would this action excite him?

Resistance seemed to excite him more; scratching, biting, it only made him more thrilled. It felt like the only way to stop was to surrender, but staying motionless while enduring was another form of torture. In the past, she used those actions to distract herself from the physical sensations. Or rather, back then, there was only pain, nothing else. But today was different. She could clearly feel every movement of his. That living, pulsing organ sliding inside her body inch by inch, with a terrifying heat. She couldn't escape, had no plan. She could only wrap herself around him tightly, passively accepting.
