Chapter 79 - Chapter 81 Meet Redfield again!

Leviathan Kingdom Palace.

The Second Prince, Churchill, was tall, dressed in heavy knight armor, draped in a dark blue cloak, and his golden hair gleamed in the sunlight.

Currently, both inside and outside the palace, with the exception of Legion Commander Bron and Court Chief Morey who had not pledged allegiance to him, all other nobles holding military and political power had joined his faction.

He walked straight into a silver-white castle. In the castle's front yard, slaves were everywhere, bound by chains and collars, carrying his offspring, crawling with vacant, numb eyes.

Churchill had twelve wives, and each wife had borne him children.

Upon entering the castle, he saw a burly man with a full beard and dark skin, primitively eating half-raw beef with his subordinates.

It looked bloody and utterly disgusting.

Churchill's face showed displeasure, but he quickly hid it in his eyes.

He walked forward with a smile and sat at a long table: "Chainsaw, what do you plan to do next?"

Chainsaw glanced at him, chewing raw meat with large bites, blood sticking to his cheeks, making Churchill's scalp tingle.

Chainsaw William revealed a mouth full of black, rotten teeth, with decaying meat and bloodstains in the gaps, and smiled ominously: "Churchill, why are you in such a hurry? Tonight, I will go and kill Jaeger... By then, the Kingdom will surely fall into chaos. Bron and Morey will certainly not remain silent, but what does it matter? By then, the only legitimate heir to the throne will be yours."

Churchill's face lit up with joy. The reason he had come this far was that he knew the First Prince, Jaeger, had been strong-willed for years and completely at odds with him.

Once, out of impulse, Churchill had severely beaten Jaeger, knocking out two of his front teeth.

If Jaeger ascended the throne, he would undoubtedly settle both old and new scores.

At that time, the fate of his family of thirty-one would be decided by a single word from Jaeger.

Moreover, he was already forty-seven years old this year, and his father, Oro VII, had been on the throne for fifty-four years.

This feeling of having his life and death in someone else's hands made Churchill restless.

That was why he had partnered with Chainsaw William, a pirate with a bounty of 240 million Berries.

Churchill smiled, a heavy weight lifted from his heart: "Even so, I am relieved. Chainsaw, I will never go back on my word. Once I inherit the throne, you can move into the Leviathan Kingdom, and I will assign you jurisdiction over the East City Docks."

Chainsaw's eyes shifted, and he smiled sinisterly: "You must keep your promise... Churchill, remember to visit your ailing old man."

A cold glint flashed in Churchill's eyes. His father, Oro VII, had been on that throne for too long... Kaido left Elbaf and, on his way back to Winter Island, unexpectedly encountered a naval battle at sea.

Two warships clashed with Redfield, who was sailing in a small boat.

Redfield looked very angry, veins bulging on his forehead, his flowing white hair fluttering without wind, and his wine-Red cloak flapped, creating a violent whooshing sound.

Redfield swung his staff, and an incomparably sharp sword energy instantly tore through the ocean, creating a deep trench tens of nautical miles long, like a grand canyon!

Seawater poured in, and a terrifying suction pulled the two warships into the ocean rift. To the horror of the Marines, the dark, crushing seawater engulfed them, powerfully crushing the warships.

"That's truly amazing, Redfield."

Kaido transformed into his human form, using flame clouds to support himself, and couldn't help but clap and laugh.

"It's you..."

Redfield's eyes held a cold glint, and he curled his lips: "Four years have passed since we last met... You seem to have grown stronger."

Redfield could tell that Kaido's Haoshoku and Busoshoku Haki, completely unmasked, emitted an aura that made his heart tremble.

"You're still alone, even now. How about it, want to come work for me?"

Kaido looked intently at Redfield: "At least I can provide you with a safe and undisturbed place... And if there are any missions, you can choose whether to act or not."

Kaido was always very tolerant towards strong individuals and talented people. Redfield's strength was terrifying, and if he could be recruited, it would give them more leverage against the World Government.

Redfield stood at the bow of his ship, his hawkish eyes fixed on Kaido: "The conditions are good, but you want me to rely on a mere pirate for shelter? You must think too little of me, don't you?"

Redfield was once a nobleman of a certain country, holding the title of Count.

He awakened Observation Haki from a young age, easily perceiving people's hearts. As his Observation Haki grew stronger with age, it would often uncontrollably see through the dark aspects of others' inner selves.

Redfield realized the ugliness of human nature, angrily left his country, and roamed the seas alone.

However, the deeper he delved, the more he recognized the twisted and ugly nature of humanity. The person standing before him might appear to be a gentle nobleman, but their heart was full of dirty and despicable thoughts.

Redfield found it very difficult to trust anyone anymore.

"Red!"

Kaido glanced at the distant deserted island, pointing to it and saying: "I know you've surely figured out what I'm thinking. You'll agree, won't you? Let's have a decisive battle on that island. The strong ascend, the defeated eat dust. If you lose..."

Red smiled, foreseeing the next few seconds: "Kaido, you're more interesting than I imagined. In that case, I accept your proposal."

"Wro ro ro ro!"

Kaido laughed heartily, his flame clouds suddenly expanding. Kaido transformed into a giant Azure Dragon: "Come, Redfield, I will show you what the world's strongest fighting force is!!"

Clang!!

The Azure Dragon, enveloped in towering flame clouds, swept through the churning seawater, moving rapidly towards the distance. Dark clouds and lightning flashed, furiously spewing electricity.

The surrounding temperature dropped rapidly, and the sea surface was torn open by the terrifying speed of the Azure Dragon's eruption, creating a massive sea line!

Thirty seconds later, Kaido was the first to arrive above the deserted island.

This was a coast with a basalt rock perimeter. The island had a lush tree sea and several peculiar floating small mountains, about a hundred meters high.

Vines connected the small mountains, and water flowed in reverse. Further in the distance was a thousand-meter-high peak, with snow-capped slopes halfway up and a faint plume of smoke rising from its summit.

This was an active volcano, capable of erupting at any moment.

The moment Kaido arrived above the deserted island, the beasts on the island seemed startled, all lying in wait. Birds and animals watched the sky in fear, trembling.

Suddenly, dark clouds rolled in the sky, and a gigantic black ocean vortex swirled. A pitch-black cloud pillar pierced down from the sky, spewing lightning outwards, directly breaking two large trees.

Kaido, holding his kanabo, crashed down from the cloud pillar like an exploding bomb, overturning grass and mud within a hundred-meter radius, and a conspicuous large crater appeared in the center of the deserted island.
