Chapter 25 Part 1: Holiday Shopping, Heel-Sore Temptation
"Auntie, do you usually not decorate the house for holidays?"

Walking side by side through the mall, Li Xi thought for a moment and said, "Xia An and I... don't really pay much attention to ceremonial things."
"My late husband did, though..."

"Auntie, no need to be polite," Ye persisted. "You're Xia An's mother, and I've never given you a gift. That won't do at all."
"And last time, that embarrassing 'accident'... please let me make it up to you!"
At the mention of that incident, Li Xi went rigid, an instant blush rising to her cheeks. She coughed. "N-no need... It was a small thing. I won't dwell on it."
"Let it pass."
Even as she said it, she couldn't help glancing at the bulge under Ye's zipper swallowing.

So she dressed like this on purpose why... The clerk's eyes drifted to the tall, handsome man with golden hair.

Big spenders, both, the clerk concluded.
"I'd like to choose a dress for the lady. Any recommendations?" Ye asked politely.
The clerk blinked slightly so they were husband and wife!

They seemed wide apart in age yet husband and wife.
Li, too, looked momentarily stunned.
"The lady?"
Was that... appropriate...?
"Right this way," the clerk smiled. "The lady keeps herself in marvelous condition her skincare must be top-notch."
"Don't worry about price please choose what suits her best."
"Of course~"
Definitely a big customer.
"Er... Xiaoye." Li coughed softly, murmuring, "Did she... misunderstand something?"

"It's fine don't be polite," Ye said immediately.
