Chapter 9 – The First Love
Luka woke up early, got ready, and headed to school. On the way, he ran into Gwen — Peter wasn't with her today. According to her, he was feeling sick.
"So, you really want me to intern at your company?" Gwen asked as they walked side by side.
Luka smiled. "I do. You're really talented… same as Peter. But, between us? You're the best."
Gwen laughed, pretending to be arrogant. "Oh, I already know I'm amazing. But seriously… maybe you could show me the company after school?" she asked, cheeks turning slightly red.
Luka answered with a more seductive smile. "Of course, my princess."
The tone of his voice made her blush even harder.
"Stop being silly… let's get to class," she said, looking away.

After classes ended, Luka and Gwen went straight to Blackgate Enterprise. He gave her a quick tour before calling Noah over.
"Gwen, this is Noah," Luka said. "You'll be working with him. He's extremely capable, so you'll learn a lot."
Noah nodded politely. "It'll be a pleasure to work with you."
"And this is Gwen," Luka continued. "She's a very smart friend of mine. I hope you two get along. I'll be in my office — later I'll come pick you up to take you home. Sound good?"
"Sounds perfect," Gwen replied, excited.

In his office, Luka reviewed the company's data and found something strange: Oscorp wanted a partnership… but they demanded 70% of the profits. To Luka, this was absurd — especially since he was one of Oscorp's largest shareholders.
He declined immediately and went on with the evaluation of new projects.
After that, he started coding the combat Baymax and the medical Baymax, which could revolutionize healthcare.
Once the time came, Luka headed downstairs to pick up Gwen.
She and Noah were working diligently. Luka waited until they finished before calling her.
"Let's go, Gwen. I'll take you home."
She grabbed her things and smiled. "Sure, let's go."

Inside the car, silence lingered for a moment… until Luka finally spoke:
"You know, Gwen… when you work with something you love, your eyes shine. And I…" he took a breath, "I think I like you more than just as a friend. I know it's fast, but… I love you. Would you be my girlfriend?"
Gwen froze for a second, eyes wide, cheeks burning. And before she could even think, she leaned in and kissed him.
A kiss that made her answer crystal clear.
When they pulled away, she whispered:
"I really like you, Luka. I was waiting for you to say something. From the moment I saw you… I fell for you."
Luka smiled warmly.
"So we're together now?"
"We are," Gwen said, laughing softly. "Now hurry, my dad is super overprotective."
Luka chuckled as he started the car. "Alright, alright."

When they arrived, George Stacy was standing in front of the house with his arms crossed.
"Is this the time to arrive, young lady? And without telling me where you were?"
"Dad, calm down," Gwen said. "I was doing that internship I told you about last week. And this…" she gestured toward Luka, still blushing, "is Luka. My boyfriend."
Luka extended his hand. "It's an honor to meet you, Mr. George Stacy."
George stared at him, recognizing who he was.
"The honor's mine, Luka. But let me warn you: if you hurt my daughter, I'll deal with you."
Luka smiled politely. "Don't worry. I'd never hurt her… unless she asks," he said, winking at Gwen.
Gwen almost melted from embarrassment.
Luka got back in the car and headed home.

POV – George Stacy
"That kid's got guts… If I catch him alone on the street, he'll see what I mean. First he steals my daughter, now he's making jokes? No marriage until they're 40, you hear me?!"

POV – Luka
When Luka got home, he went straight to his room to continue the Baymax project. Once he finished, he planned to head out to patrol the city.
