As Saruto lay exhausted on the ground, his body trembling from the intensity of the fight, his breathing ragged, the Second Founder stood calmly before him, gathering his strength to unleash an attack that would vanquish Saruto. But before he could release it, the dragon Void suddenly seized control of Saruto's body.
Saruto vanished from Lucifer's sight, and Void reappeared, clutching the arm he had been using to gather energy. Lucifer felt a strange energy flowing from Saruto's body and asked, "Who are you?" Void laughed and explained his identity to Lucifer. After telling him everything, he smashed the arm Lucifer was holding. Lucifer screamed loudly, and while he was distracted, Void grabbed his other arm and hurled him far away, sending him crashing through several mountains to the ground.
As Lucifer struggled to rise from the pit he was trapped in, he was startled by a sword that nearly struck his head and another aimed at his hand. Then, Void pulled his swords from the ground, pulling the rock Lucifer from beneath them. Void didn't let him get up; instead, he moved closer and delivered two powerful punches to Lucifer's stomach, causing him to vomit blood. Void then lifted him, holding him by the neck, leaving Lucifer completely immobile.
"How did you do that?" Void said. "Well, I remember now."
He began to gather energy in his finger, aiming it at Lucifer's face, mimicking the skill he had used against Saruto.
Before he could unleash his attack, Saruto intervened, addressing Void and ordering him to stop.
"Why, Saruto?" Void paused. "Just when things were starting to get interesting." He relinquished control to Saruto.
Saruto released Lucifer from his grasp and prepared to leave the Founding Father's Realm. He apologized to Lucifer for losing control of Void. The founder said to him, "There's no need to apologize, Saruto. I haven't enjoyed myself like this in a long time. This dragon inside you has given me a new target, and I want to crush it. Next time, don't forget to visit me again and give it control so I can enjoy fighting it."
Saruto replied, "You have my word, but the one who will defeat you next time isn't Floyd, it's me." As they left, both were burning with excitement, preparing for their next encounter. Saruto emerged and found himself waking up in the Time Chamber. His body was spontaneously recovering from all the effects of the intense fight, and then he fainted.
Two days passed since Saruto had fallen into a deep sleep. He awoke in a luxurious bed in his room, the sun filtering through the windows. He looked around in surprise and asked in a low voice,
"Who brought me here?"
Suddenly, the dragon appeared. The dragon spoke to him telepathically, saying, "As soon as you left the world of the second founder, you fainted, and I took control of your body. Then you met your father in that place you call the Time Chamber." He immediately noticed that someone else was controlling me. He asked me, "Who are you?" and I explained who I was and everything that had happened in the world of the second and first founders. He said he was proud of what his son had accomplished.
Saruto smiled and got out of bed, saying, "I've fulfilled part of the promise I made to you, Mother. But now this is the true beginning toward my goal. I won't let you down."
