Chapter 101 - void enters the battle

The hall shook with the echoes of explosions, the walls cracking under the immense pressure and aura emanating from the battlefield. Dust filled the air, and the atmosphere crackled with a fierce energy. Saruto was locked in a fierce battle against Morgana, her volcanic body aglow like a raging volcano, its heat intensifying with every strike, yet Saruto's steps never faltered. His eyes gleamed with determination, and his chained swords danced in the air like creatures of living darkness.

Morgana roared with demonic fury, slamming the ground beneath her feet and hurling shards of lava at Saruto, but he was too swift to be struck. He moved like a flash of shadow, vanishing and reappearing behind her, striking her with his swords intertwined in a cross of dark energy, leaving a scorching mark on her volcanic armor.

But exhaustion began to creep into his body. His breath came in gasps, and his sweat mingled with dust and blood. His eyes grew dim little by little, until their light was completely extinguished. Void noticed that Saruto could no longer continue fighting, and his voice boomed like thunder in his head: "You've gone too far, Saruto… Let me take over."

But Saruto, with instinctive stubbornness, whispered haltingly, "No… I'm not finished yet…"

Before his body fell motionless, completely unconscious. Lucien saw him from afar, still facing Aleister, the King of Light, in a fiery battle of speed and light. His heart trembled the moment he saw his friend fall. He cried, "Saruto!!"

But at that moment, Morgana approached the body lying on the ground, her volcanic sword raised, about to plunge it into his chest. But she stopped abruptly, recoiling quickly, her eyes trembling.

A heavy, cold laugh escaped Saruto's lips, a laugh unlike his own. He slowly raised his head, his face transformed, his eyes now those of a dragon, glowing a dark purple. "You dodged it, Queen," he said in a double voice. "Had you come any closer, I would have taken your arm."

Morgana took two steps back, her heart pounding, not understanding the reason for the fear that had seized her. The next moment, a strange echo reverberated through the hall, an overwhelming aura filling the space, as if a hell of dark energy had suddenly erupted.

"Void...?" Lucien said, stepping back slightly, staring at his friend. "Is that you?"

Void smiled. "Saruto's out of it," he said in a cold, mocking voice. "Now, it's my turn to enjoy myself."

In a flash, Void moved, like a phantom of darkness. In an instant, he was in front of Morgana. With a single grip, he seized her stomach, and her body shot through the hall like a projectile, shattering the stone pillars.

Before she could regain her balance, he had vanished again. He reappeared above her, gripping her face with a hand ablaze with black aura, and began dragging her across the hall floor, leaving a trail of cracks and sparks in his wake, before hurling her forcefully against the wall.

The explosion was like thunder. Morgana collapsed, gasping for breath, her volcanic body cracking from the wounds.

Void landed swiftly, summoning his two chained swords from nowhere. He raised them before him, then altered his voice with a strange, faint sound, and flames began to ignite from his mouth, covering the swords in a deep purple fire.

His voice transformed into the roar of a full-fledged dragon, and he charged at Morgana with unimaginable speed. The blazing swords tore through the air, but Morgana gathered all her strength around her abdomen, forming a shield of aura to protect herself from the blow. The impact shook the entire hall, and the heat intensified to such a degree that the stones partially melted.

Morgana collapsed to the ground, gasping for breath, as Void raised his hand again, gathering immense dark energy—a black vortex swirling in his palm like a black hole. "It's over… Queen of Hell," he said in a voice as deep as the roar of hell.

Before he could unleash the final blow, Seraphel, the King of Light, sensed the danger. He ceased fighting Lucian, his body transforming into a beam of light, and he shot forth with incredible speed, piercing through space. The moment Void's hand released that energy, Seraphel suddenly appeared before Morgana, extending his hand and forming a shield of light.

The collision of light and darkness illuminated the entire hall. The resulting wave sent everyone reeling backward, and the ruins of Sparda itself trembled with its force.

When everything calmed down, Void stood amidst the smoke, his eyes blazing like two embers, while Seraphil stood before Morgana, the shield he had formed slowly fading away.
