On that still night, shrouded in silence like a heavy curtain, Ethan stood in the center of the dark room, glowing with a faint, sacred light emanating from an intricate, magical circle that filled the floor. In its center lay Camellia on a bed adorned with intertwined symbols, her face pale yet filled with determination, her eyes gleaming with a faint fire that concealed an unyielding resolve. Ethan approached her and said in a quiet voice, "Your sister's spirit still resides within you, sleeping deep in your consciousness. Your powers merged after the battle, but to reclaim it... we must reach it from within."
She nodded in agreement, though her breath caught in her throat, then said in a trembling voice, "I am ready, Ethan... do what is necessary."
He slowly raised his hand and placed it on her head, and the symbols around her lit up with a dual light, half sacred gold, half infernal purple, flooding the entire room. Then Ethan whispered, closing his eyes, "I'm going to enter your consciousness... Be patient, it may be a long way."
In an instant, the lights around them faded, and complete silence descended, before they found themselves standing in the middle of a vast, dark world, its sky a storm of sacred and demonic energy. She looked around in confusion and asked, "Where are we?"
Ethan answered, his sharp eyes scanning the area, "We are now inside your consciousness, where your sister's spirit hides... We will search for her here."
They walked for hours, endless hours, amidst swirling fragments of memories and faded images of the past: battles, tears, scenes of death and rebirth. But they found no trace of Eliza. Camellia stopped, exhaustion etched on her face, and said despairingly, "It's no use, Ethan... Perhaps she's gone forever."
He studied her for a moment, then said with practiced calm, "Tell me, can you use sacred energy?"
She looked at him in surprise, then replied, "Yes, I can use it if I want."
He smiled gently and said, "That's enough. Use its energy to follow her trail. Sacred energy cannot hide itself from its source."
Camellia closed her eyes, and a pure golden aura, completely different from her usual energy, rose around her. Silence reigned for a few seconds, then a faint light shone before her—a ray of light piercing the darkness. She opened her eyes quickly and said excitedly, "Ethan! I see her! There...!"
He smiled and said, "Then let's follow her."
They ran after the luminous ray that led them through ancient valleys until they reached a peaceful plain. In its center lay a sleeping body, illuminated by a soft light as if the heavens themselves were watching over it. It was Eliza, lying peacefully, her features radiating purity and serenity. Camellia approached hesitantly, tears welling in her eyes, and whispered, "Sister..."
"Awaken her with her own energy," Ethan said gently.
She nodded, raised her hands, and a powerful, sacred energy emanated from her palms, enveloping Eliza's body. For a moment, Eliza slowly opened her eyes, shining like stars. She looked around in amazement, then murmured, "Where... am I?"
Her sister didn't wait for her to finish. She threw herself upon her, embracing her and sobbing uncontrollably, "Sister! Forgive me! Forgive me for everything that happened! I was the reason you died!"
Eliza smiled tenderly and held her close, whispering, "Don't cry... You weren't the cause of what happened, so don't burden yourself with this."
Ethan approached and explained to Eliza what had happened to Saruto. Then he said, "You two have one last thing to do. Camellia, unleash your demonic power, and you, Eliza, unleash your sacred power. I want you to be perfectly equal... for the fusion will only work if two energies meet at a point of equilibrium."
The two sisters exchanged glances, then simultaneously raised their hands. A tremendous surge of energy rose around them, a golden light mingling with crimson darkness, forming a vortex of power that shook the very air. As their equal power surged, Ethan began to feel their consciousness ejecting him from this world. He closed his eyes, a satisfied smile spreading across his face as he thought to himself, "I hope this works."
In an instant, he was back in the real world. He slowly opened his eyes to see Camellia surrounded by a sphere of demonic and sacred energy, as if a new being were being born before him. The light from the sphere dissipated, revealing a fragment of hair whose color was a blend of red and yellow, and eyes that were one red and the other yellow. She smiled faintly and said in a voice that was a mixture of the two princesses' voices:
"The fusion has worked, Ethan. The two sisters have merged, and I have emerged as a result."
He bowed respectfully and said with a reassuring smile, "Welcome, my princess. What shall I call you now?"
He said, "I haven't chosen a name that suits me yet. Now that the two sisters, Camellia and Eliza, have disappeared, and I have appeared in their place, should I be content with both names?"
Ethan interrupted her thoughts, saying, "What do you think of the name Emilia? It combines the names Camellia and Eliza."
Emilia was delighted by the name Ethan had given her, and they headed to the Lewin family mansion. Ethan led her to Saruto's room, where he had been lying motionless for three months. Ethan reached out and placed his hand on Saruto's head, while Emilia held his other hand. They closed their eyes, and in an instant, light enveloped them, and they both entered Saruto's consciousness.
The scene there was tragic: a dark world, and the ruins of memories raining down. Saruto sat on the floor, his head bowed, tears streaming silently down his face. When Emilia saw him, she rushed to him, embracing him tightly as she sobbed, "Saruto... Enough! Enough pain! You're back!"
He raised his head in surprise, catching his breath as he said, "Who... are you... This is the first time I've seen you... but you remind me of... two girls I know... Is what I'm seeing now an illusion?"
She shook her head, whispering tenderly, "I'm Emilia, Saruto. Camellia and Eliza merged, and I appeared. They did this so Eliza could return."
Then, at that moment, Saruto noticed the resemblance between Emilia and Eliza, and her eyes glowed with the same celestial light. Saruto froze, his eyes widening with surprise and tears. "Eliza... it's you...!"
She smiled, crying and laughing at the same time. "Yes, it's me, Saruto... but now call me Emilia."
He hugged her tightly, his voice trembling. "I thought I'd lost you forever..."
She patted his shoulder and said, "I'm here. Don't worry, everything is alright now."
Ethan stood silently behind them and told Saruto everything that had happened, a proud smile spreading across his face. After a moment, he said quietly, "It's time to come back, Saruto... Everyone is waiting for you."
Saruto nodded, closing his eyes and letting the tears flow.
In the real world, his fingers began to move slowly, then his body trembled, and he finally opened his eyes after three months of absence.
The first thing he saw was Emilia's face, a blend of Camellia and Eliza, smiling at him through her tears, with Ethan standing behind her, smiling with quiet pride.
Saruto, the heir to the Lewin family, had returned... and with him, everyone's joy had returned.
