In the shadowed back alley, Hikigaya Hachiman walked slowly, hood and wrist-blades now stowed away, his breath heavy and ragged as the sound of the system's notifications echoed faintly in his mind.

Today's club activity had been a success — the Minotaur was dead. But the fight had made one thing painfully clear: he still had a long way to go.

The Assassin template had granted him numerous combat skills and experience — things like Eagle Vision and Leap of Faith — but there were still major gaps in his ability. He lacked pre-battle intel gathering, post-fight cleanup, and the fine art of evidence disposal — all the things that turned a killer into a professional.

And perhaps most crucially of all… his stamina was terrible.

A fistfight was one thing, but real killing demanded precision, control, and endurance. Each strike had to be clean, final — a one-hit kill. And every time he pulled it off, his heart and lungs screamed, reminding him that his ordinary, househusband-level body couldn't keep up with the battle instincts and killing techniques flooding his mind.

Still… things had changed.

With the Minotaur mission complete, the Agent 47 template began to merge with his existing Assassin skill set.He could feel it — his breathing evening out, his strength returning, his exhausted body surging with new vitality.

Agent 47's abilities…

He hadn't expected that as a first-kill reward.Maybe it was because it was his first hunt, or maybe the system was simply that generous.

In any case, it was quite the combination.

If the Assassins from Assassin's Creed were less "assassins" and more "berserkers in hoods" — charging headlong into fights, slitting throats in broad daylight like it was nothing —then Agent 47 was the exact opposite: less "hitman" and more "true assassin."

A genetically engineered human weapon, 47 possessed near-superhuman senses, stamina, and precision. He could pilot vehicles, play the drums, make sushi, or improvise with any tool. He was the perfect infiltrator.

He killed by accident.Every mission looked like coincidence — a gas leak, a fall, a heart attack. He eliminated targets with surgical calm, leaving no trace behind. He was a master of disguise, evidence disposal, and counter-surveillance — everything Hachiman had just realized he was missing.

Now, those flaws were gone.He was no longer just an Assassin with Eagle Vision and a Leap of Faith. He was a hybrid — a complete assassin.

Hachiman exhaled softly, feeling the difference in every muscle fiber. With his new physical condition, that "Minotaur" hunt from earlier would've been effortless. He wouldn't have even needed to draw a weapon — he could've taken them all down barehanded.

Of course, a professional assassin never acted unless absolutely necessary.A true killer didn't rush into a fight — he made accidents happen.

Killing Miwa during his act of bullying and making it look like the victim had fought back — that would've been a textbook Agent 47 job.

But for Hachiman, letting that silver-haired girl, Sakurae Shino, get hurt before intervening was simply out of the question.

Even though the system had named her, he couldn't remember who she was supposed to be.There were so many beautiful girls in anime — unless you were watching their show, the names blurred together.

Whatever. His hooded cloak hid his face perfectly — there was no risk of being identified.

The only people who even knew about the cloak were Hiratsuka Shizuka and Yukinoshita Yukino. If the authorities questioned them later, they might suspect something, sure — but even if they did, he wasn't worried.

Not because he trusted them completely…But because no one could ever find what didn't exist. The hooded robe and hidden blades were tucked neatly into his inventory, beyond anyone's reach.

Still, to play it safe, he'd need an alibi.

Hachiman stopped in the middle of the alley and glanced around. When he was sure no one was nearby, he opened his Romance List and focused on the name glowing faintly near the top — Hayase Saki.

Hayase Saki — Friend. Member of the Girls' Swim Team. Current Location: (Teleport available)

The interface looked the same as before, except this time the "location" field wasn't locked behind a triggered event.

"Would you like to teleport to Hayase Saki's location?"

"...Yes."

Originally, he'd planned to disguise himself as one of the dead men, erase all traces, and vanish from the scene. But with teleportation now unlocked, there was no need.

Hayase Residence

Having just returned home, Hayase Saki was relaxing in her room. After rewarding herself with a snack, she washed her hands, grabbed some clothes, and headed into the bathroom for a long, hot bath.

Steam filled the air. When she finally stepped out of the tub, she felt lighter, refreshed. Her damp hair clung to her shoulders as she toweled off and padded barefoot into the dressing area.

Lately, her chest seemed… even bigger.Sure, years of swimming had given her a strong back and stable posture — she wasn't the type to slouch under the weight.Still… it was kind of a hassle. Her shoulders ached all the time.

As she sighed, thinking about the burden of being too blessed, she bent forward to slip on her underwear—

—and froze.

"...B-bu—Buchou?!"

Standing right in front of her, still in his Soubu High uniform, was Hikigaya Hachiman.

She blinked.Had she soaked too long? Was this a hallucination?Had she, in a fit of indulgence, imagined her club president appearing in her home?

"...Ahem. Yeah, it's me," Hachiman said with his usual deadpan calm. "But, uh… maybe finish getting dressed first."

Keeping his face expressionless, Hachiman's eyes flicked around the room in Eagle Vision. No one else was home.Satisfied, he turned and stepped out of the dressing area.

Okay… yeah, that teleportation feature was bugged.

Last time, it had dropped him right behind Hayase. This time, it had put him directly in front of her — while she was changing.

No wonder teleportation required "mission triggers" or "plot unlocks."If it didn't, he could just fill his romance list with every cute girl he met and abuse teleportation for… well, obvious reasons.

"W-wait, you're really the president?!"

Still flustered, Saki hurriedly threw on the rest of her clothes, her face burning scarlet. Her hands fumbled with the fabric, trying to cover her generous curves.

So that wasn't a dream?!

Hachiman — the actual, real Hikigaya Hachiman — had been standing in her room while she was naked?!

But why?How did he even know her address?

Wait… could it be?

Had he followed her home —to perform some kind of… mood-lifting magic on her?

Just the thought sent her mind spinning. She couldn't think straight anymore — not about logic, not about anything.

Her heart pounded loud enough to drown out reason itself.
