Chapter 38 - A Freak.

Jimmithey fell after this strike, as the pain and fatigue from this battle had finally caught up to him.

"... Fuck…" He mumbled.

He had killed the Colonel, a man who looked exactly like him.

He wasn't concerned or saddened by the Colonel's death.

He hurt his friends, threatened to kill him and broke his bones.

He was an evil and disgusting degenerate, an irredeemable bastard!

But instead, Jimmithey was disturbed about himself.

He was disturbed by the fact that HE was the one who killed him.

Jimmithey was a murderer now. He had killed a man. And he was not just any normal murderer, he was a strange one.

He had stuck a magical dildo up another man's ass in order to kill him. And he was happy to do it!

He had a smile on his face while beating this guy. He had a smile while he did these insane things to his opponent.

It was insane to him, something he never thought he could do.

No good person would ever do that. No normal person would ever do that…

So Jimmithey's natural conclusion was…

"I-I'm not normal… I'm the same as the Colonel… I'm a freak." Jimmithey coughed out, falling onto the ground.

He felt like crying and throwing up, but he was too weak to even do that.

He wanted to fall asleep and to stop thinking. He couldn't handle all of this nonsense anymore! Any of the pain, any of the confusion!

So he closed his eyes and laid on the rubble, feeling the morning wind brush against his face.

He sat there in silence until he heard some faint voices from nearby.

He looked to the side and saw Jackie and Milly running towards him, with both of them covered up with bandages.

"JimJim! Are you okay!? Oh my goodness…!" Jackie called as she crouched down at him, seeing all of the blood coming out of him.

His leg was twisted and broken, the bone pointing through. Something he'd completely forgotten about due to the battle.

Blood and wounds were all over his body, wounds that would've already killed a normal person.

It was disturbing to her, but she still sat down near him to help him out.

"H-hey… D-d-don't call me that…" Jimmithey responded while Jackie put her hands on his chest.

He then saw a purple light come out from her hands, while a healing energy covered his entire body.

His body became warm, while the pain was replaced with numbness.

"This is healing magic. I learned it from the wand that came with my uniform. It just told me everything as soon as I woke up! It's kinda like the info was pre-installed into my head… It won't completely fix you up, since I'm not that good yet. But I think it'll help for now!" Jackie said as she used her magical girl energy to heal Jimmithey.

"A wand… Spoke to you…?" JImmithey muttered.

With all of the strange stuff he saw from the magical girl mansion, a talking wand made a bit of sense.

"Yeah dude! The wand sounded exactly like me! Cool, right bro?" Jackie added, placing more strength into her healing powers.

He felt his wounds stitch up, and while his bones became fixed together. It was painless and comfortable.

After a minute, his body was healed back to normal.

He still had light scars over his body, but he felt physically good again.

But despite all of Jackie's help, he still felt sick. This was something that he knew healing magic couldn't fix.

Milly turned to Jimmithey and walked to his side, helping him stand up.

"Jackie's powers aren't the strongest yet, but she was able to heal that hole I had in my stomach… And I was able to find most of my equipment and ammo… But forget that. Amazing job, Jimmithey. You beat the Colonel!" Milly said, while she patted Jimmithey's shoulder.

Despite the praise, Jimmithey looked at Milly with a frown. He didn't feel happy or accomplished at all.

"Hey, Miss Milly… What you said in the car… You were right. I'm not normal. I am a freak. And I'll never be a normal person with these powers… Just a delusional fool. But even those delusions can't hide the facts from me. The fact that… I'm the exact same as the Colonel… A weird asshole." Jimmithey muttered with a numb expression.

He then felt Milly bring him closer to her face, clenching lightly on his shoulders.

She had a serious stare, glaring at his face with a frown.

"No no… Jimmithey… I dunno what happened with you and the Colonel but… I'll be honest. I was just saying all of that in the car, well, because I was a bit pissed and was, I guess, projecting."

"I know how you're feeling. I had the same fears as you did, that I was a monster myself. But now I understand the actual truth. You aren't normal, that's true. Neither am I. These powers we have, it makes us different and weird. And that will never change." She explained, her expression becoming sorrowful.

"But you're not a freak, and you can live a normal and happy life. You're doing the right thing, unlike the Colonel or the Führer. They only live for their own desires and try to force it upon others. They're selfish. But you, you're not." She continued, her face having a small grin on it.

It was a strange sight to see. He hadn't ever seen Milly ever genuinely smile.
