Chapter 24 - Chapter 24, Zeus: I’m Going to Become Stronger

"Zeus" Gaia excitedly pushed open the door, ignoring the stunned Rhea beside her. She took the baby from Rhea's arms and went to Zeus's side. Zeus, whose face was already pale from recent childbirth, was terrified.

"Grandma...Grandma..." Who knows how heavy her heart was when Zeus uttered those words! Now, Zeus felt both hatred and helplessness towards Gaia, after all, it was the first time she had been treated that way. The trauma left in her heart was immense; even now, the sight of Gaia made her tremble with cold. Helplessly, she couldn't fight him, and he had raised her from childhood. As a true Chinese, she believed in the immense weight of gratitude for those who raised her. This kind of education had been deeply ingrained in Zeus's morality since childhood, but it didn't justify repaying a debt with her body! She wasn't some prostitute. Wait, prostitute Zeus, that premise seems pretty intriguing.

"Come back with me!" Gaia looked at the baby in her arms, then at Zeus lying on the bed. Her heart softened. Her beloved had run away from home and given birth to her child outside. What could she do? Of course, she would forgive her. But things were different at home (in bed). It certainly wouldn't be punishment. Oh!

"Sigh!" Zeus looked at Gaia, who was gazing at her with such deep affection, and felt a sense of helplessness. She would never go back. With her current power, she was like a little white rabbit in front of Gaia, to be devoured whenever he wanted. She had no power to resist at all. She had to become stronger.

The reason things have turned out this way in the last two years is because I'm not strong enough. The baby that's been hindering my power level has already graduated. As long as I leave Gaia's side and recuperate for a few days, I can begin my path to becoming stronger. Right now, I must keep Gaia safe. Otherwise, I'll spend my whole life crying under her.

"Grandmother, please go out with Mother Goddess for a moment. I want to rest for a while," Zeus said in a soft, almost breathless voice, her tone so gentle it could melt steel. She pleaded with Gaia, her eyes pleading pitifully. It was as if Gaia's heart had melted at the sight of her, making one want to pin her down on the bed and have a passionate encounter with her.

"Okay... alright!" Gaia reluctantly averted his gaze, afraid that he might lose control of his animalistic instincts and kill the beautiful woman on the bed. So Gaia picked up Rhea from the side, so as not to let the baby disturb his mother's rest. Gaia carried the baby in one arm and Rhea in the other and walked out of the room.

After Gaia left the room, Zeus instantly stood up from the bed. Truly worthy of being a god! She can still bounce around after giving birth; Zeus is only mentally exhausted. The trauma of childbirth has healed completely; it truly proves the saying, 'There's no such thing as land that's been over-cultivated, only oxen that have died from exhaustion.'

Zeus picked up the black robe beside her and draped it over her shoulders! Gaia, who was happily playing with the baby outside, didn't notice that a familiar figure was missing from her senses.

After issuing the command "Travel Begins" to the earring, the cosmic silk began to infuse it with divine power. Thirty seconds later! The earring's power reached saturation, and it began to shine brighter and brighter.

"Goodbye." Looking at this world that had brought retribution upon her because of her naive thoughts, Zeus's eyes revealed a complex expression. She had originally intended to live a life of leisure and idleness here, but had been forced to leave. This world had taught her a profound lesson, showing her the meaning of the law of the jungle and that without power, one had given up everything.

"Only I can create my own dreams." In that final second of pause, Zeus understood. Her dream of staying home could only return if she broke free from her own destiny. Grandma hoped they would never meet again.

"What's going on? It feels like something's missing." Gaia played with the baby in one hand while looking up at the sky. A sense of unease crept into her heart, so Gaia handed the baby to Rhea, who stood silently to the side. She then ran into the room to visit Zeus. It definitely wasn't for a one-night stand. Absolutely not!

"Who on earth is it?" Gaia instantly turned dark. Zeus had just given birth; she couldn't possibly have escaped her notice. Who on earth had such power? If she caught her, she would definitely kill her.

"Come with me to the realm of the gods, Rhea." Gaia, furious, walked out of the villa. He led the ten girls, who had been stunned by divine power, and spoke to Rhea, who was trembling beside him.

She now felt she needed to go back to the divine realm to interrogate ten girls to see if any of them had had intimate contact with Zeus. She was determined to kill her; how dare she snatch someone right under her nose! This was the umpteenth time this had happened; several incidents had slipped out of her control. This made Gaia inexplicably irritated; someone must be controlling everything behind the scenes.

"No matter who you are, if you've hurt Zeus, I'll make sure you die a horrible death." With that thought, Gaia, along with a group of girls, a young woman, and a baby, vanished from the spot.

Let's pray that poor Zeus won't be caught again! But is that even possible?
