Chapter 31 - Chapter 31, Sakura: I’ve met the wrong person!

"How's the preparation going, Shichen?" Erza asked Shichen, who was elegantly sipping red wine beside her. Actually, Erza wanted to ask something else. "Don't you get tired of wearing the same color as a giant red envelope every day? In the past six months, Erza hasn't seen him change his clothes."

"Everything is ready, my lord." Shichen looked at the Crimson Queen with admiration. Over the past six months, the knowledge she had imparted to him had been immensely beneficial. Moreover, she had helped him eliminate the Matou family, allowing him to take over their businesses. She had also seized the Matou family's magic circuits and given them to Sakura. This made the Tohsaka family's power more than double what it was before—it was truly fantastic. However, he was also very glad he hadn't sent Sakura to the Matou family. He hadn't expected that old man to raise such evil creatures as 'Crest Worms'! Knowing the habits and uses of 'Crest Worms,' he felt a wave of fear. Although he wasn't a good father, he didn't have the habit of pushing his daughter into a fire pit. (A moment of silence for the worm-like creature.)

"This time, I've secured the help of an old friend from the church. And! Now his son is also qualified to become a Master, so we're sure to succeed." At this point, Chen could no longer contain his excitement and laughed happily.

"How's your summoning medium preparation going?" Erza asked curiously. Her intervention this time had prematurely introduced two unpredictable classes. She wondered if the Yangtze Knight and the monstrous Caster would actually appear!

"Yes! This time, I've finally found it. The fossilized remains of the world's first snake. If I'm not mistaken, it will definitely summon a Servant!" Toki answered Erza confidently.

"Then good luck." Seeing that Toki had already embarked on a path of self-destruction, Erza didn't dare to advise him. He'd only have to bear the consequences of his own actions! Toki would never have imagined that the creature he summoned would sow discord between him and his apprentice, Kirei Kotomine, ultimately leading to his being stabbed to death by his apprentice. Sigh! How pathetic! I don't even want to watch anymore.

Turning and disappearing before the hour, Erza appeared before Sakura. Looking at Sakura's pale face and the cold sweat pouring down her body from the pain, Erza sighed. "If you want power, you have to pay the price. My fellow countrywoman, this is all I can do for you. Getting through this is up to you."

"Does it still hurt?" Erza asked Sakura, who was lying on the bed, politely. Unexpectedly, she touched on Sakura's pain.

"It doesn't hurt! You try it! It doesn't hurt." When the Matou family's magic circuits were first implanted, the pain was unbearable. It felt like being crushed by a pile driver, and even two months later, the pain is still excruciating every day! It makes you want to bite your tongue and commit suicide!

"Fine! I was just being sarcastic." Erza felt no remorse whatsoever and actually wanted to laugh. Sakura, lying on the bed, possessed knowledge from other worlds. And yet she used this method to gain power—was she stupid or just plain foolish?

"Tch!" He rolled his eyes at his fellow villager. Sigh! Bad luck with people!

"Tonight, your dad's going to summon Gilgamesh. Want to go see him?" Erza, seeing Sakura ignoring her, smiled and made a request to the girl on the bed. But unsurprisingly, she received a glare. Erza was doing it on purpose, deliberately mocking the girl on the bed.

"My lord, may I wipe Sakura's sweat first?" Just as Erza was about to continue teasing the young girl on the bed, a beautiful young woman pushed open the door and walked in. She spoke gently to Erza; this was Tohsaka Aoi, Sakura and Rin's mother. What a beauty!

"Okay!" Erza smiled slightly at the young woman. She then walked directly out of the room, no longer paying attention to the tender mother-daughter moment inside.

Midnight, the Tohsaka family's underground city. Two men were furtively engaged in something clandestine.

The man named "Qili" looked at his disciple with deep affection, his eyes filled with tears of passion.

The man named Qili, who had no idea what his master was, ignored his master's gaze.

"Let's begin!" Shi Chen, having snapped out of his goofy state, gracefully walked to the magic circle. He began channeling magic power, unbeknownst to either of them. Erza, on the rooftop, had been watching the commotion closely, eager to see just how skilled this golden-haired fellow truly was.

"Fill it full, fill it full, fill it full, fill it full, fill it full!"

The cycle repeats itself, followed by five.

However, the moment of fullness is also the moment of abandonment.

"As the incantation was chanted, the light from the magic circle grew increasingly dazzling. After an unknown amount of time, the light dissipated. A mist of evaporating water filled the entire room, and Shi Chen excitedly watched the figure within the magic circle."

"You've won, Kirei."

"We won this war!" Shichen excitedly looked at the golden figure, but Erza on the rooftop stared in astonishment with her mouth agape.

"This is..." Erza had been watching the arrival of this king. She hadn't expected it to be like this.
