The echo startled her, she opened her eyes and surveyed her hand as if she was unfamiliar with it. She looked around in the now quiet space and she could see a trace of the icy spiritual energy. She had not only comprehended the first form of the 'Yin' technique, but not only that, she was able to incorporate it in the 1st layer of the 'Heavenly Hand' technique.
She could feel her excitement bubbling up inside of her but that was short lived as the tiny system, told her that since she was only in the Mortal Realm, she would not be able to use it continuously and the only reason she was not able to feel the fatigue was because of the void space they were in.
Truly she was disappointed to know that, but she figured if she could use the blade as an outlet to be able to fight, if necessary, the techniques she will use them if she is in a prickly situation. The system offered to give her some puppets to use as target
practice, knowing how her system operates she wondered how much experience points this will cost her she only had 50 experience points left.
"HOST, DEPENDING ON HOW MANY PUPPETS YOU WANT, EACH PUPPET COSTS 10 EXP IN THE CHERRY BLOSSOM LIMITED SHOP."
Renata looked at the digital mall in front of her, the original price of the puppets is 50 exp each, which
meant that this was part of the beginner package, and these puppets were Legendary, so it meant they had no grade but had room to grow according to the crystals and spirit stones used on them.
A mortal grade crystal paired with well-formed formation and a high-grade spirit stone would last the puppet for a day, the effect is even better if it is an immortal grade crystal but since they are rare and expensive, Renata did not even consider it.
As Renata read the description of the item, she realised that the system was being kind to her today, since the puppets came with necessary items to get it working too bad, the crystal was not immortal grade because she was sure the system would have it in its store.
Anyway, beggars cannot be choosers so instead of complaining she decided to buy 4 puppets and she would be left with at least 10 exp.
After her purchase, she stared at the puppets for while before turning her head to the tiny system. "How do I adjust the difficulty level of this thing?"
After she could not fight on a higher level at this moment, "THE PUPPETS WILL SCAN YOU ONCE YOU, PUT IN THE CRYSTALS AND SPIRIT STONE, ONCE IT IS DONE SCANNING IT WILL DETERMINE YOUR LEVEL NEEDED FOR TRAINING."
"Oh." If that was the case, it was time for her to begin training.
She was slightly nervous since she has never fought before but she will give it a go and see how prepared she is to enter the VR world. Training was important lest she is caught unawares after
cultivation world is survival of the fittest and in the VR world, she could not hide behind the Nasir family name.
A blue light from the puppet's eyes scanned her, once it was done a digital prompt popped up in front of her.

Once she pressed the yes button, the environment changed slightly. It was still rain forest and it
looked real. She did not the puppets came with a stimulation feature. It must have been due to the formation in the crystal.
She was standing in a middle of an open space in the forest, it was not much room due to the density of the trees and the puppet simulation had been set on night mode, this could also be due to her vision being a low level, she was not sure how she will go about this, but she had her blade ready.
It was quiet for a few seconds before the four puppets descended on her with speed, she could not keep up with she tried to evade them but one of them punched in the face and another on both
arms and ribs.
She had a poor stance to begin with since she had never learned how to fight, she fell hard on the wet soil, she whizzed due the pain.
The puppets did not move after scanning her again, the stimulation restarted. Renata knew that in the real world once she is down the enemy will not stare and wait to see if she is okay before killing her so, she immediately got and swallowed the pain, and waited for the stimulation the descent of the puppets was still the same as before, but this time she was ready.
She slashed out with her right hand that held the blade in a firm but clumsy grip, she manged to hit one of the puppets but not all of them, and once again she received and beating.
Again, the simulation restarted, this time around she did not wait in the same spot, but she decided
to move, the moment she saw movement from the trees. Initially she was more focused on her technique but this time around she decided to move on instinctively.
Her senses were sharped, and she focused on the environment around her she had
imagined that she was fighting against Killian and the little shadow, and that if she had to fight for her life what would she do.
Once she was able to focus, as soon as she saw movement she could feel the fluid way her body was moving, she chose to meet one of the puppets head on, she was only moving on instinct. She slashed the puppets neck and it fell on the ground, the other puppets had changed their trajectory and were now moving in a way to encircle her once again.
Her vision was slightly out of focus, but she managed to jump on one of the branches of the tree, so that she could avoid being encircled. She did not stay long as the puppets were heading towards her direction.
Renata tried to channel some spiritual energy on the blade and made a wide slash across, releasing an icy chaotic energy towards the puppets, one of the puppets that was in front got knocked
down by the slash which created an icy slash across the puppet's chest.
The other two moved away quickly, at this point Renata was tired but she kept pushing herself. The two puppets had landed on the open space and observed her for a few seconds before moving towards her again.
Renata decided to run through the rain forest and hid before the puppets could catch up. She saw movement from the one of the puppets, she immediately jumped out and prepared to slash
her blade once again.
This time she had controlled the amount of energy she will use because she knew she could not completely take in spiritual energy from the outside world but in the VR world she could since it had void element to it. The amount of pure chaotic energy she could taken in was limited in the outside world, so she had to prepare herself for every condition possible.
She managed to attack the puppet that was in front of her, but she had not realised she had missed the second one which appeared behind her. The puppet hit her with something on her head, she knew that it was not equipped with a weapon, but it seemed as if the branches of the simulation could be broken off and used as weapons.
Even the pain was realistic, she felt dizzy and almost lost her footing on the tree branch she was standing on. She immediately jumped to the next tree without hesitation, the puppet was already in front of her once again, the moment she had land on the tree branch she decided to turn with a quick slash towards the puppet even though she was not sure of the accuracy.
The puppet caught her forearm, she head butted the puppet and stepped on its foot, but it did not loosen its grip on her forearm, it moved slightly and almost fell from the tree branch. Renata with all her strength decided to push her hand towards its neck and slash through its neck. The puppet had not let go, so she almost fell with it.
She immediately yanked her arm away and she felt a sharp pain, but she did not care.
